Rooftop conversations and ruminations

Me and Mj were one day talking about how the Sherlock show had potential but failed, so we decided to work on our own detective story.

Its about two college students who were told there was a murder in one of the dorms, so one of them,Stephanie, takes up the role of the detective,with the help of her roommate Jennie, because Stephanie can take things too far and get herself in trouble, it’s pretty obvious Jennie is the calm and collected one(and its obvious it’s going to be gay hehe…).Things go like your regular mistery story, but things take a crazy turn when there’s a secret service after our duo and thighs will take a gruesome turn(Mj’s idea, she’s briliant at writing horror and suspention).We even made a Tumblr account where we will post our story.

But that doesn’t answer the question why are we sitting on the rooftop to do this.It was partially because we wanted creative inspiration, partially because I knew this really cool spot since I often go to the library the rooftop is from, but mostly…because of this news we received.

Apparently after the end of junior year(a.k.a not long), we are going to go with our class on a trip across Europe, with Paris as the final destination.I’m as excited as nervous, outside of me moving from London, I’ve never been to a different country before.There is so much to learn and discover, from the history of each place to their art and architecture…ahhhh(again) I’m so excited.But most of all…I hope to confess my love to Gwen in Paris.To finally tell her how much I love her, how she makes my day better everytime we talk, how she is like a princes…all of this on a romantic dinner near the Eiffel tower, with a bouquet of hydrangeas in my hands(they’re her favourite flowers)...it would be simply wonderful.

I also can’t wait to sit with Gwen on the plane where we can rewatch “The Owl House”(Gwen’s idea), to spend more time with Ned, Mj, Betty(we haven’t talked much but I want to know her better since she plans to work part time at the Daily Bugle as well) and, hopefully, Peter.

For obvious reasons, Peter hasn’t been feeling the best.But I hope this trip will help him, he did seem really happy when he heard the news. I hope this trip will give Peter the courage to confess his love to Mj, they would make such a cute couple.Speaking of love and confessions, Mj also asked me if I had a crush on Gwen, from how much I was talking about her and how we would spent time.I didn't say anything, I was to embarrassed to, but Mj got her answer from how much I was blushing after she asked. So I told her about my plan of confessing to Gwen in Paris and she found it cute.

If it wasn’t obvious already, Paris is the destination I look forward to the most on this trip.And as I was sitting on the rooftop with Mj, laptop and sketchbook near me, I realized…life is starting to be amazing. Being able to share my creative ideas with someone, to have a friend I could write with, make fond memories, it’s beautiful. Life is about this simple things, not power, not fame, but about fulfilment, to feel satisfied with your existence, looking forward to the next day, living like you’re in a musical where everyone is singing and dancing. Nowadays it feels like doom is always knocking at our door, but we have to keep dreaming and being creative.

I honestly LOVE your bakushima kids, but did you have any ideas on what the rest of the bakusquad's kids would be like if the others did have kids? If you have thought of it, would the next gen of bakusquad be friends like their parents or not so much?

Thanks!!! And to be completely honest with you, the only other kid I have for that specific AU is the todo//deku one :0 not cause I haven’t thought about the bakusquad ones, but cause I still haven’t managed to decide which ships I wanna go with? Do I do kami//sero or kami//jiro or kami//mina? Do I do mina//jiro or momo//jiro? how about sero//mina? I like so many ships for the squad that I can’t manage picking just one haha but what I already have decided is that whoever Kaminari ended up with his kid is Tai’s best friend. I dunno who that kid is, but they’re best friends 👍

It’sssss not really my thing actually - well, generally I’m a picky shipper with Bakugou anyway, not gonna lie, but the only interaction Baku and Shinsou ever had made it pretty clear Shinsou can’t stand him and I usually don’t ship Bakugou with people that don’t like him ??? I’m more drawn to his canon happy relationships honestly haha

A good concept which I’m always up for, but to be honest with you I’m more of a fan of the other way around :O like, Kiri is so good and bright and friend with everyone, jealousy might as well be something Bakugou’s used to by this point - but Bakugou, people tend to avoid him or think of him as rude and annoying, Kirishima wouldn’t be used to jealousy at all you know? So I like it that way around more haha

I wouldn’t call it an artblock, it’s more like… like your mind is one step ahead of your skills, I’d say. If treated right, you can turn that feeling into improving your art! What is it that you don’t like? Can you break it down to smaller things? Is it the line work or the coloring style, or even just the way you draw eyes or hands or noses? If you can focus on the smaller parts of what you don’t like in your style you can then look up a way to do the same thing that you do like, and practice that till you’re satisfied with it! One small thing might not mean much by itself, but putting all these small things together is how you make improvement happen :D
