In his efforts to wear Abram down to breaking, Prince Riko adopted a slightly different technique into his repertoire: respite. Abram didn’t get a place at the table - eventually most of his suppers were spent underneath it, sitting beside Riko’s chair and occasionally being relegated some scraps. As long as Abram didn’t act up, retaliate, or otherwise rebel against the treatment, Riko would simply leave him alone. One of precious few times he wasn’t in danger of being harmed for others amusement.

The first time Abram was too weak to fight back or make a comment or move much at all, Riko found a whole new kind of amusement in having begun to properly “train” Nathaniel. And it kept on like that. Anytime Abram was too overwhelmed, hurt, sick, or whatever else, he at least knew he’d get a couple hours of rest at the end of the day if he allowed Riko the satisfaction of a quiet supper with his loyal plaything.

I’m so emotional over the one year anniversary of ghost files because the unsolved series got me through most of secondary school, it was a constant and gave me a lot of comfort and even now on bad days I’ll re watch my favourite episodes, and now I’m 20 and still watching the same two guys ghost hunt and they still bring me just as much comfort as ever.

These two ghost hunting has been one of the only constants and they bring me a level of comfort that can’t quite be captured by other media’s. So seeing ghost files is now a year old I’m feeling weirdly emotional about it.

I think another reason why I prefer rogue’s hair to be huge and untamed is because I think it fits her a lot more personality wise. rogue might be southern, but she’s never fit into that southern belle type of box. she was born into a cult, and then she was raised by terrorists, and that made a major impact on the way she deals with her feelings and surroundings. rogue can be incredibly violent and aggressive. whether it be threatening remarks or just actual violence she struggles a lot with having a proper response to certain situations. she has very extreme reactions, like her commitment to being self sacrificial to those who show her kindness, or the fact that a small disagreement can lead to her beating the shit out of someone

Lord Alexander stalks his prey ever so quietly. Though stealth was never a great feat of his it was terrifyingly possible for a large creature such as himself to achieve it if he really gave it effort. He would catch the unsuspecting bard tuning their lute, or fiddling with it in some way. He wasn’t sure, but it did make for the optimal distraction. He had his belly to the ground, comically sliding himself toward Ekira with an impish grin twisting his face. Two large and muscular arms would grab the goatling from behind and spin them around to face the King. He grins wide and toothily, before giving his friend a big smooch on the top of their furry head. "Happy Valentines day, my little snack-sized friend~💞"

“Shoot, now that’s way too outta tune.” And a nice distraction it made indeed, the bardlet’s hyperfocus on their out of tune lute, making the stalkee none the wiser. A twist of a knob there and a strum of a string there, Ekira was sure that by now they had it almost perfect. They were so close, just one more twist…

Only to scream as they were suddenly scooped from behind, their screams of terror soon turning to high pitched laughter, the kiss against their head and claws digging into their most sensitive spots making them quite the flustered mess once it was revealed just what was occurring.

“Alexander, you scared me!” Ekira giggles, a hoof placed to their chest trying to calm their beating heart down; the other trying to wipe away any slobber that might have gotten caught on the top of their furry head. “Geez, happy Valentine’s Day to you too…”
