⭐ ^ And by that I mean he’ll usually have it stocked or he’ll get one of his friends to buy it because he doesn’t want to leave you alone

⭐ That’s why it’s OUR sickness, you think your attached to him? He is clinging to you!! (His immune systems decent, so it takes a little bit to get him sick)

⭐ ^ And if he does get sick, you two can be sick together >:)

⭐ Johnny’s not one to usually deny littles sweets and ‘junk food’, but he’ll put his foot down a bit your feeling this icky, especially if your throwing up

⭐ You gotta eat foods that’ll help your body get better!! Like greens or saltines

⭐ He’ll get you an entire sippy cup of Sprit though!!

⭐ Makes sure you drink a ton of liquids, they’ll help you feel better!!

⭐ Although he might have you take yucky medicine :(

⭐ He doesn’t mean to be mean, but it’s going to help you feel better!!

⭐ If it’s liquid medicine, he’ll give you a small yummy treat afterwards

⭐ If it’s a pill, he’ll crush it and put it in your one juice of the day (<- Again, not being mean, he just wants to make sure you get better quickly)

⭐ If your usually a hyper regressor, he’ll try to distract you!!

⭐ Whether that’s making sock puppet shows, or giving you his own little tablet to play games

⭐ If you wanna try and run around and play, he’ll scoop you up and toss you back into bed/on the couch

⭐ Or he’ll chase you around for a bit and then pick you up

⭐ ^ He doen’t want to bottle you up in bed, but he’ll strap you down if he has too 😮‍💨

⭐ ^ He’ll even make it a little game where he’ll turn around to do something, only for you to sprint off and try to run out of the room!! You don’t get far, but if it makes you giggly and gets your energy out, he’ll encourage it <3

⭐ If you just wanna just lay in bed and cuddle, he’ll scoop you up, bundle you in a blanket, and snuggle the sickness out of you

⭐ If you wanna watch TV, he hasone in the living room, and in his bedroom, so your set on where you wanna cuddle

⭐ He insist you gotta take a nap, even if you aren’t a baby, it’ll help you feel better!!

⭐ He’l do almost anything to see his bouncing toddler again 🥺

Caregiver Rosie Headcanons (Hazbin Hotel)

Heads up: this show contains death, violence, swearing, sexual assault, and various forms of depravity.

Rosie can spot a regressor a mile away, and she’ll start nurturing you before she even knows your name. It might be a little off-putting, but she has good intentions.

She loves to baby the absolute dickens out of you. No matter how old you are, she’s constantly pinching your cheeks and cooing about how adorable you are.

(And any argument about how you’re too old for that kind of thing is met with a cheerful hand wave. “Oh sugar, you’ll always be my baby, however big you get.”)

There’s all kinds of creepy confections at her store, and she’s happy to let you try them… but she’s also completely willing to make you more normal food. “It’s an acquired taste, sweetie, no big deal.”

She loves to dress you up in old fashioned outfits, and she goes on for hours about how darling you look.

She is GREAT with helping you work through big feelings. She’s a wonderful listener and always gives helpful advice.

She’s always watching for things she thinks you’ll like. Maybe she surprises you with a new toy, or maybe she points out a cool bug on the ground. She just likes seeing you excited.

If you like tea parties, Rosie is your gal. She’ll set out her best tea service, make all kinds of tasty snacks, and bring plenty of gossip to the table.

She’s a very hands-on person, constantly wanting to hug you or hold your hand or fuss with your hair. (And if you don’t like physical contact, she’ll respect that, but she’ll also try to find forms of touch you’re comfortable with. Maybe gentle tugs on your sleeve, or holding hands with a plushie? She’ll find something that works!)

She is very firm about rules and has absolutely no qualms about sending you to timeout. Don’t bother with the puppy eyes; she’s completely immune.

Imagine Dogday trying to y/n to sleep but is having trouble cause their being fussy, an gets a little….miffed when Catnap easily gets y/n to sleep [without the gas]

Haha, I could definitely see something like that happening. I feel like Catnap is just naturally good at putting people to sleep (with or without his gas), so I think it would make Dogday a little jealous (but he'd still appreciate it, I think!)

Definitely tried to go for a more retro/80s feel because, why not?

I have an obsession with past!Michael Afton help me-

Headcanons!

He definitely would be a trauma regressor and it would be involuntary/impure most of the time

He regresses to 4-8. Occasionally, if he's had a rough day, 1-3

He's either non verbal or will talk and rant for hours on end, no in between

His caregiver would most likely be Jeremy :] or his mom (I am coping)

He has a very negative view on his regression and tries to push it down and act like it doesn't exist, whether it be because he's embarrassed about it or he thinks it makes him look less "cool"

Continuing on that, he keeps his age regression very secret. The only people who would know about it are his siblings, his mom, and Jeremy, and maybe his friends if he ever warmed up to them about it, who knows!

Just like with his vocalization, it's either a 50/50 chance that he's just napping all day/cuddling or he's very active and bouncing off the walls

He would play with C.C. and Elizabeth. He's still a little prankster when he's small but he's nice enough to share toys and snacks with his siblings

The biggest little nerd ever. He would play video games or read vintage comics all day if he could. Jeremy loves to play with him, but would always set the levels on his games too easy for the lil squirt

Cg!Alfred Pennyworth headcanons!

(Mentions of regressor batfam and cg bruce throughout the list!!)

Bruce never had to tell Alfred directly about his regression, it just naturally happened over time.

Sure, there were conversations about how to go about it and boundaries, but no direct coming out conversation.

Alfred is already observant, and he’s been taking care of Bruce since he was a baby. The man knows his son.

When one of his kids regresses, he’s always the first to notice, as well as the first person by their side to assist them if they need it.

Alfred’s swaddling has become a household favorite.

The blankets are always soft and smell like vanilla lavender, which is a personal favorite scent of bruce’s.

Bruce’s kids always prefer to run off and grab a blanket from the study or office to be swaddled in, since it smells like a mixture between Bruce’s cologne and Alfred’s cinnamon tea, familiar and comforting scents.

He’s mastered the art of being able to divide his attention between kids equally to ensure nobody gets upset that he may spend more time or attention on a smaller regressor.

Bruce goes between being a caregiver and a regressor, and though most of the kids would never admit it to bruce (Dick is blunt and honest when he’s regressed, a trait that Bruce has a love hate relationship with.) Alfred’s milk recipe is just different in a way that can’t be replicated, they’re never too sweet, never too warm or hot. Always perfect.

Most kids least favorite time of day is bedtime, but everyone in the house adores it when they’re regressed.

Alfred makes it fun for the still energetic ones, making it a game or challenge to do their bedtime routine, like brushing their teeth and taking care of their face and hair.

“Good job, sweetheart! Lets see who can brush their teeth the best!”

For the soft and gentle sleepy ones, he helps them around, doing the routine mostly for them with soft praises and encouragement to keep them awake long enough to get them in bed.

“Oh, you’re very tired, little one. Let me wash your face and then you can cuddle up in your warm bed, hm?”

The only time one of the kids don’t like going to bed is if they’re between being regressed and not because they’re tense and stressed from doing work, but Alfred can always guarantee that he can pull anyone away from their work with a little bit of babying.

Taking their hands in his, doing more things for them than usual, making their favorite snack or drink.. the list goes on.

He loves when his kiddo’s stick to his side all the time. Wether it be curious about what he’s doing around the house today, or just wanting to be around Alfie because there’s no reason needed for that, he loves it. Absolutely adores it.

If someone gets hurt, he’s always rushing to their side, cradling their head with whispered assurances as he examines the injury.

“Oh dear, don’t fret, Alfie’s here to help you. Now let’s see where you got hurt.”

If someone is upset, Alfred will do anything to keep his babies from crying. If it’s something minor, like a stuffed animal having to be washed, he’ll play games with them to keep them distracted. If they’re super tiny he’ll make funny faces like he used to with baby bruce.

If it’s something bigger that can’t simply be distracted with, he’ll sit with them and hold them in his lap as they cry. If they wanna talk, he’ll listen and nod along, talk about how brave they are. If they don’t want to, he’ll just press kisses to their head, tell them how they’re so strong.

“It may not be okay right now, darling, but I promise you it will get better.”

He would never let one of the kids see, mostly out of fear that they would begin to worry about him, but once they’re all in bed or he watches them play from afar and enjoy themselves, he sheds a few tears at the fact that his kids not only found a way to help with their issues, but that they trust him with the honor of helping and taking care of them in such a sensitive situation.

Ghost caregiver! headcannons (This one might be a little spooky for some kiddos, be mindful friends!)

- strange things have been happening recently, sure there's the common bumps in the night but even stranger it almost feels like someone tries to tuck in when you go to sleep

- your pacifiers end up seemingly washed and put away for you, bottles/sippy cups appear in the fridge full of your favorite drink, and even your stuffies get sat gently back in their spots if accidently knocked over without you lifting a finger

- you see, there's a friend hidden away in the dark corners of your home. Ghosts can be quite shy if you'd believe it, and they'd hate to scare such a precious little one! So your ghost friend helps around when they can't be seen, quiet as a mouse while you go about your day

- sometimes they do hum softly, gentle melodies they don't really remember the words to but soothing regardless. When you have nightmares they'll hum and fix your blanket better around you, no scary things can get you here darling

- they're easily spooked by you getting hurt, even stubbing a toe causes a little panic. If you're icing something you'll find you never have to replace the ice pack and if you have a scrape brand new bandaids happen to be just where you can spot them when it's time to change them

- notebooks and scrap pieces of paper have messages you don't recall writing on them, things like "you're doing amazing!" and "remember to brush your teeth :)" with small doodles surrounding the text

- the ghost knows they make things a little chilly, but they hope you don't mind as they brush your hair out of your face and kiss your forehead goodnight (though it feels more like a tickle) humming a long lost lullaby

Little! Sir Pentious Headcanons

• His little age is around 3-5, always up and causing chaos. He loves dressing up and pretend games, but you have to follow the rules! (Which there are many usually)

• Extremely weepy and sensitive, the slightest little comment or criticism can immediately make him burst into tears. Everything needs to go to his routine and if feels like he’s out of control it makes him feel very unstable. I headcanon him as autistic !

• Absolute blankie kid, has an ochre yellow blanket embroidered with little black snakes. Always holding it close and rubbing it against his face. Meaning it can get a little gross over time, there’s a lot of hissing and crying if Charlie or Vaggie try to take it to be cleaned

• Building blocks are his favourite toy! He will spent hours building to his hearts content, buildings, vehicles and airships (obviously) But there’s the odd occasion where a certain little angel finds it extremely fun to knock them down. Which triggers many tears and fights between the both of them.

• Huge sensory seeker!!! He built himself his own sensory wall for his room, lots of things to push, cogs to turn and switches. As well as a selection of different textured panels to run his fingers over.

• Charlie is his favourite caregiver, and she spoils him absolutely rotten. Often follows her around like a shadow, wanting her to come see what he’s built or coloured. But his egg boys also do their bit to care for their master when needed!

KAI SMITH flip (caregiver-leaning!)

Kai Ninjago Smith is ABSOLUTELY an age regressor are you KIDDING me are you JOKING me. He is BASICALLY CANONICALLY an age regressor!!!!

> "I bet he loves being treated like a baby..." (Nya, Season 14, Episode 6, Call From The Abyss)... Yeah he does because he IS a baby. He is THE baby. He is BABY.

His entire traumatic backstory is that, after his parents were taken from him from an early age, he had to step into a parental role for his little sister and become the adult of the family while still being a child himself. He had to grow up before he even really had a chance to grow at all. On-screen, we see that once his parents return and he's no longer forced into that role of responsibility, he canonically regresses into childish habits and language we have never before seen him use or display beforehand.

"Ham and cheese sandwiches with crispy bacon? Oh thanks, Mommy! You're the best! Mm... bacon is the best, too!" (Kai, Season 14, Episode 6, Call From The Abyss).

Conclusion? Kai Smith is the most age-regressor to ever age regress ever I will not take criticism because I am OBJECTIVELY CORRECT.

Anyway!! I think Kai is regresses from 5-9~ years old. We can tell from his diction that he doesn't seem to be a baby regressor (at least in this scene), as he's capable of fully-formed sentences and has the cognitive skills required to play video games, so that leads me to believe he might be a little-middlespace regressor! Kai's parents left when he was around 5, so it makes sense he wouldn't be an infant regressor, but around the little-middle spectrum, regressing into the same range of years in which he didn't have a chance to be a child before.

I don't just think he's an age regressor, though, I also think he's a flip, too! He definitely has some care-giving tendencies built-in to him from having to be a caretaker for his little sister for so many years, and so he pretty naturally slips into the role of a big brother caregiver! I imagine he leans more towards the caregiving side then the regressing side, just because being a caregiver is what he's used to being - what he's always had to be - but that may be prone to change as he becomes more comfortable with his regression! He hates regressing around the other age regressors, especially when they're regressed, because he feels like when they're small he has to be big and adult to take care of them regardless of his own headspace. We can see his caregiver tendencies displayed in... countless interactions with Lloyd. Speaking of...

LLOYD MONTGOMERY GARMADON age regressor!

I am, once again, OBJECTIVELY correct. Lloyd is basically canonically an age regressor. He IS canonically an age regressor. He is, quite literally, a child stuck in a teenager's body -- as in he was a child and then magic age-up tea turned his body into a teenager's but still left him with the mental capacity of a child. Which is the DEFINITION of what an age regressor is!! Bodily an adult but mentally a child!! He IS an age regressor!!!!

And even if that WASN'T the case, he'd probably be an age regressor anyway, because, like. Look at him. He had the weight of the world on his shoulders since he was, like, eight, was unable to be a child because he had to endure constant rigorous training and when he WASN'T training he was undergoing countless traumatic experiences while he was still a child.

> Lloyd: "Well...The latest issue of Starfarer just came in at Doomsday Comix and it's a limited run, so if I don't go out and get it, it's going to sell out. Last they left off, intergalactic rogue Fritz Donnegan was surrounded by the Imperial Sludge, and if I don't find out if he gets out alright, I think I might have my own doomsday!" Kai: "The fate of Ninjago rests on your shoulders. As the Green Ninja, you have a giant responsibility to hold. I'm sorry, but you don't have time for such childish things." Lloyd: "Other kids get to play and have fun. All I ever do is train..." (Season 2, Episode 18, Child's Play)

I don't even think I need to argue my case that hard for why Lloyd is an age regressor. I think it'd be harder to argue why he ISN'T an age regressor, actually. TRY to argue that he's not an age regressor. TRY. I BET you CAN'T.

I don't have much evidence for this one, but I imagine he may be a pet regressor, too! He's an oni-dragon-hybrid, after all, and his heritage have proven to come with strong instincts regarding this animalistic half of his genes, as seen throughout the Oni Trilogy.

COLE BROOKSTONE caregiver!

Look at him. JUST LOOK AT HIM. The most caregiver to ever caregive ever forever. He has chronic can't-stop-adopting-children syndrome. He's adopted, like, three separate children at this point. It is becoming a problem.

"Huh? Oh, no. Don't make that face. Don't cry. Oh, I can't take it any more. Hey, look at me. Hehe. Yeah. I'm not sad. Ha-ha, I'm not crying. Oh, fine. But this is between you and me. Shine, little glow worm, glimmer glimmer. Hey there, don't get dimmer, dimmer. You like that, huh? Well, there's more where that came from. Glow, little glow worm. When his mentor canonically (mentally & physically) regressed into an infant his first and immediate instinct was to adopt and care for them. If that isn't agere caregiver behaviour I don't know WHAT is. HE BECAME THE FATHER TO AN INDIVIDUAL REGRESSED FROM THEIR NORMAL HEADSPACE INTO A CHILD.... HE'S LITERALLY A CAREGIVER GUYS!!!!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE YOU WANT ME TO SAY!!!!!!! I AM JUST STRAIGHT-UP CORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!

JAY WALKER padded regressor!

"Jay: Aah! [He picks up a ruined stuffed toy.] Mister Cuddlywomp… [sobs] is a teddy bear I used to love when I was five, but now he's totally lame and—

Cole: We know you still sleep with him.

Jay: And I don't care who knows it! Mister Cuddlywomp..." (Season 7, Episode 6, The Attack)

Jay Walker is DEFINTELY a regressor. His personality has been noted to be very child-like and babyish at times, to the point where the fandom (and showwriters) tend to infantilize him, despite the fact that in his own right he can be a very serious character when he need be. As much as I do believe he's an age regressor, it's important to remember he can be very capable and competent character when he's big, too, and not to define him by his regression!

If he's any regressor, it's definitely a padded regressor. Throughout the show, it's become a running bit that he's a bedwetter and has a weak bladder:

"Jay: But I don't wanna get wet. I...I only have one pair of underwear.

Kai: Jay, this is no time to be making jokes. The Bounty can only take so much.

"Jay: You think I'm trying to be funny?" (Season 2, Episode 9, The Last Voyage)

"Harumi: Uh, forgive me, but is that...underwear?

Jay: We're usually more organized. Ahem. But our leader got lost in a time-stream. Uh, they're Cole's.

Cole: They're blue!

Kai: You're lucky they're not yellow." (Season 8, Episode 3, The Oni & The Dragon)

"Oh, that reminds me, Jay, honey, I need to teach you how to bleach your boxer shorts." (Maya, Season 14, Episode 7, Unsinkable)

"Jet Jack: Then tell us, who do these diapers belong to?

Kai: Oh, those are Jay's. Tell 'em, Jay.

Jay: Oh. I have a weak bladder." (Season 9, Episode 2, Iron & Stone)

These are only a few of many, many examples (You can find others throughout the show, such as in Only One Can Remain, The Darkness Remains, Darkness Within, etc), and though it's usually spun as a joke, there's no harm and shame in it! In conclusion

ZANE JULIEN caregiver!

"I was built to protect those who can't protect themselves!" (Zane, Season 3, Episode 8, The Titanium Ninja)

I don't know what else you want me to say guys... he said so himself.,,,,,,. was built to protect those who can't protect themselves...,.....

Zane's entire identity is hinged around adaptability. Though I could go on a WHOLE 'NOTHER ESSAY about Zane's relationship with identity, the point here is that he often adapts to what people need him to be! I mean, he downloaded thousands pieces of detective media onto his hardware in order to try to track down the other ninja after they went missing, if called for I imagine he could very easily slip into the role of caretaker (he WOULD download hundreds of resources on age regression to help the other ninja)!

I don't have a lot of evidence for this one beside source: bro trust me but bro. trust me. The Vibes,,,, theyre there

These are just my personal headcanons based on evidence I've gathered from the show - I am in NO WAY saying these are the only headcanons or that they are the "correct" ones!! In fact, if you have DIFFERENT headcanons for the ninja (esp. ones I didn't provide a lot of detail for), I encourage you to share them in the tags, I'd love to hear other's opinions!!!! ^^

Cg!Husk headcannons

• Has a few sippy cups/bottles hidden under his bar specifically for his little.

• He’s very observant. If he has any idea that his regressor is slipping he won’t serve them any alcohol. instead he serves them juice or angel milk (he totally gets the irony of the name.) regardless if they insist they’re not slipping. He knows them well enough to see right through that fib.

• He may not admit it to anyone but caring for someone makes him feel good. Needed again. It relaxes him a bit since he can focus on his little, be in charge without being forced, and just make someone else feel happy.

• He loves seeing his regressor be happy and carefree. It fills him with such genuine pride.

• He likes to carry them around a lot and watch them nap all curled up and content.

• When he’s really pleased he makes little purring or cat chirping noises which his regressor ADORES even if he finds it embarrassing.

• Let’s his little do just about whatever they want to him. Playing with his ears, wings, face, fingers, practically nothing is off limits as long as they’re not being mean. (He’ll act like it annoys him around others but he secretly likes it)

• However that doesn’t mean his little can get away with anything. He does have rules and is very firm with them. Things he doesn’t tolerate: lying to him(he’ll know), throwing tantrums, ignoring personal needs, and refusing to grow and learn from mistakes.

• He doesn’t get angry easily just that Disappointed Caregiver™️ look that’s hurts more than anything.

• He’s more likely to lecture and give short time outs (it gives himself a break to collect himself too) than anything else.

the first time angel hears alastor say boo-boo he cracks up and makes fun of him and alastor immediately tells him to go to the corner and think about what he did.

the KING of old fashioned pet names. he calls charlie pumpkin because it makes her giggle. lucifer is duck/ducky/duckling (but only when he’s regressed. that is the ONLY time he’s tolerated). niffty is doll. angel is either brat or pudding

🌩 Raiden almost always hat his hat on, rarely have you ever seen him without it

🌩 So when he set it down to make food, he was slightly concerned to where it went off to

🌩 He was just making sandwiches!! He had propped you up to watch some cartoons for a few minutes (per your request) where did you both go???

🌩 Luckily, he heard your quiet giggling

🌩He walked to the bedroom, seeing you standing in front of the mirror, or sitting right in front of it

🌩 You giggle, showing Raiden his hat on your head

🌩 And his amulet in your hands

🌩 He quickly scampers over and takes his amulet from you, that’s a no no, you can’t touch that

🌩 No matter how fussing you do, your not getting it

🌩You could get hurt, and he doesn’t want you to accidently zap yourself (he put it on an even higher shelf than before)

🌟 Liu Kang never takes his headband off, unless he’s taking a shower or going to sleep

🌟 So you’ve gotta be super duper stealthy if you wanna try and steal if

🌟 How? By pulling on it when he’s turned around!! :D

🌟^ If you regress bigger, maybe you made a better stealthy plan, but Liu Kang still catches you :\

🌟He’ll ask you what you think your doing, hands on the hip and everything, although there’s a smile on his face

🌟 He gets slightly confused when you request for his headband, because he rarely ever takes it off (and it completes his outfit . . .)

🌟 He lets you try it on once and that was his downfall

🌟 Now you constantly want to wear it!! Tugging at it whenever you want to, or just flat out (politely) demanding for it

🌟 Or it feels like demanding, why doesn’t he get a say on the matter? 😮‍💨

🌟 Rolls his eyes when you tell him that it’s now your headband, and will debate you that no, it is in fact not

🌟 ^ This debate is highly entertaining for whoever hears it, because he’s either arguing against your babbles, or the claim of ‘But I want it’, ‘But it’s your and I want it’, ‘But I wanna have it’

🌟 He never wins the argument unfortunally, always loosing and letting you wear it

🌟 He brought up once about getting you your own and you pouted so hard he started laughing

🌟You don’t want your own, thank you, you want Dada’s headband >:\

🌟But he does find it really cute when you wear it, you look adorable!! Like a miniture Dada :D

🌟 He finds it really funny when he ‘accidently’ places his headband on the table, and it ‘magically’ appears on your head

🌟 If your younger and can’t tie his headband on, he’ll happily help you (although finds it funny when you fuss and accidentally cover your eyes)

🌟 If your bigger, or can tie a knot, he’ll praise you for your good work, and smoother you in kisses, even if you whine and fuss over it

Caregiver Alastor Headcanons (Hazbin Hotel)

Heads up: this show contains a lot of swearing and cartoonishly gory violence.

He’s been on the hunt for a new source of entertainment, and a kiddo like you is perfect!

He is always smiling, and tries to ensure you are too. You’re never fully dressed without a smile, after all!

(And if you’re really upset, he’ll chatter and make jokes until either his presence or his laughing audience cheers you up.)

He also likes talking to you while you’re going to bed. He’ll lower his voice and chatter about things he’s seen or experienced, and the chatter will help lull you to sleep.

He can create certain objects with his powers, including little demonic toys for you.

He has plenty of… associates that he’s made deals with over the years. Some of them, like Nifty, adore you and think you’re the sweetest thing. Others, like Husker, are always grumpy and fun to pester.

(Al majorly encourages the pestering.)

As long as he’s around, you will never be harmed. No creature would dare try to mess with you.

He often pulls you into a musical number, using his abilities to give you props and change up your surroundings.

If you ever wander too far, or if he just can’t wait to see you, he summons you to his side, which is very sweet. It does mean hide and seek with him is terrible, though.

Also, absolutely! I can expand more on the Age Regression in my AU!

As I’ve mentioned before, the protagonist in this AU is an age regressor, and quite young at that. They tend to regress involuntarily, particularly when surrounded by positive or negative triggers, resulting in moments where they enter a childlike headspace. (Their regression age is somewhere around 0-3)

This involuntary age regression significantly impacts the behavior of the creatures within the facility, leading to a complex array of reactions.

For instance, during encounters with Huggy Wuggy, the protagonist's regression triggers a profound change in perception. Despite being an adult, they are perceived as a child by Huggy Wuggy and other creations within the facility. This perception shift is consistent among all the creatures, who consequently treat the protagonist as a vulnerable child.

The best way I can describe the impact of age regression on the creatures is a nullifying effect. Rather than succumbing to their inherently sadistic tendencies, the creatures become markedly gentler and more nurturing. They instinctively adopt a protective and nurturing role towards the protagonist, exhibiting behaviors akin to caregiving.

With more formidable creatures like CatNap, the influence of the protagonist's age regression might not immediately manifest due to their heightened resistance. However, over time, even CatNap succumbs to a nurturing instinct towards the protagonist, albeit retaining a mischievous demeanor. Nonetheless, the protagonist will remain unharmed, with CatNap's antics posing nothing more than occasional playful disruptions.

In summary, within the world of Poppy Playtime, whenever your character regresses in front of the creatures, they universally perceive and treat you as a child. Hopefully this explains how the regression works in this AU!

🔎- likes to play with toys like bead mazes puzzles, and legos!

🔎- split cuddles with Bive in bed.

🔎- sometimes needs help with basic tasks. Like bathing and being fed.

🔎- Bive doesn’t watch many newer cartoons, but she has a lot of old vhs tapes! like vintage my little pony and older Disney movies 🥲

🔎- split can tell when Bive is tired. Either she’s having a tantrum, fussy, nervous or a bit lethargic.

🔎- Bive rocks back and forth and chews on her sleeves of her shirt. She has a teether to bite on instead.

🔎- splits nicknames for Bive are “little one” , “good girl”, “sweetheart”, “sweetness” and “kitten”

🔎- her favorite snacks are goldfish or Mac n cheese! (She’s not allowed to eat mold around split anymore, because of this she would be on the floor in tears and acts like it’s the end of the world.)

🔎- def has a binky. Just doesn’t use it around anyone because she’s not very trusting…

Straw-hats as Caregivers

My attempt at doing a sort of 'reader insert' type thing. Please spare mercy on me, for I know not what I am doing /lh Oh also, bit of a trigger warning for a couple of mentions of vent regression. Nothing to bad though

~~~

Sanji:

~Sanji would be great at playing pretend. Setting up a fake restaurant, going on a grand make believe adventures!

~If you regressed on the older side he would definitely teach you how to cook. Though he'd be very unsure about letting you into his kitchen if you were too small

~He would be the first to know when your sippy cup needs to be refilled, and each time he’d have a different drink for you to try.

~The type of caregiver to make airplane noises when feeding you and set out an extra plate for your stuffed animal to enjoy as well.

Zoro:

~Zoro would let you sit on top of his shoulders, or carry you around piggy back style. He thinks of it as extra training, you think of it as pure fun

~He'd give you little gifts now and again seemingly at random, with things that he think you might like when small. For example a small pocket sized stuffed animal that he saw on a display, a type of candy he thinks you might be interested in trying, or a pacifier that just happened to be your favorite color.

~You can't tell me he wouldn't enforce nap time. The greatest swords man has no time to deal with overtired and fussy little one when the problem can be so easily avoided by a power nap. Weather or not you agree with this depends on the day

Nami:

~If anyone asked, Nami would say that she is clearly the best caregiver in the world. She has everything under control, thank you very much. Anyone who thinks differently can expect a 20% increase in the debt that they owe her.

~Gives off the vibes of a very cheeky older sister

~A very soft spot for little you. If there’s something you want she’s going to do everything in her power to get it for you.

~She’d be surprisingly sweet and understanding when it comes to you vent regressing. While she’s not the best at comforting people, she does sympathize with the feeling of being overwhelmed, and through pure will power and determination she does her absolute best to cheer you up.

Usopp:

~He'd make a bunch of props for playing make believe with. Foam swords and paper crowns, treasure maps, and of course miniatures for any of your stuffed animals so they can play along

~Usopp would make up the best treasure hunts for you to partake in. With elaborate riddles and a fun prize at the end!

~Him and Luffy would definitely rope you into shenanigans when the two of them are regressed

Luffy:

~He would easily remember each one of your stuffed animals names, along with anything special about them. Treating each one as a special nakama whenever you’re regressed.

~The type of older sibling esc caregiver who would waiting until the adults are busy so that you two could get into mischief together.

~Helps you to come up with new made up games. Something that would confuse the rest of the crew if they weren't there at the time when it was being created.

~He’d have a hard time understanding vent regression. He gets being starting out happy then getting triggered by something and feeling bad, but not regressing from the get go and feeling sad.

Robin:

~Her specialty would be looking after little ones that regress super young. Being able to care and dote over someone would be super soothing for her

~ The rest of the crew refer to her as mama bird taking care of her baby bird

~She’d pick up picture book versions of all the things that she’s studying do that you can read along with her

~Not the best at playing along with your imagination. Too stuck up with the actual details and rules to play make believe.

Chopper:

~Chopper would probably know what age regression is way before you ever told him. Something that he read into while studying at some point in time. He knows enough about regression to know possible triggers , the difference between vent regression and regularly being regressed.

~He’s gotten used to being a cuddle buddy whenever your regressed. It gives him a viable excuse to take a break from his work and join in on nap time

-If you had a nightmare Chopper would do his best to comfort you and get you back to sleep. He’d offer to listen to what it was you dreamt about, although he’d probably get upset as well, in that case he’ll take your hand and the two of you will go and find another straw-hat (probably Zoro) for you to talk to

~He would love to play a bunch of different outdoor games. Things hopscotch, tag, hide and seek
