Ulverston Canal Walk
As the rain turned blustery, the bedroom window blew open. It required lots of fiddling with keys and blinds to fix it – twice! Exhausted from the drama, I slept fractiously. Not woken by the co-op cages which came later, a loud Safeway’s truck shattered the morning peace.
