Some more Thåström-recommendations for @glorious-blackout (and anyone else who might be curious about what my problem is) Sorry, I got carried away!
Ebba Grön - Die Mauer (1982)
I feel I need to explain what I meant when I said Die Polizei reminded me of Die Mauer (apart for the obvious similarities in the titles!) I'm just gonna go ahead and assume you know what Die Polizei is about! Die Mauer is about a man who is separated from his love by the Berlin wall, he is overcome by longing and anger and decides to do whatever it takes to reunite with her. The sound of gunshots at the end of the studio version implies that he failed, hence the "Die Mauer but with a happy ending"-comment. Musically Thåström's solo-rendition of the song is more like Die Polizei than the original though (this one for example)
Imperiet - Alltid rött alltid rätt (1983)
Title means "always red always right", basically a raging against the machine socialist anthem (live video for maximum intensity!)(I promise he is perfectly sane)
Imperiet - Märk hur vår skugga (1985)
A cover of a song originally written in 1790! The band felt they were becoming to commercial and wanted to do something "avant-garde" and the record company was not happy. To everyone's surprise it became their biggest hit! (The song may not be very Kaizer but the video sure has Kaizer-vibes!)
Imperiet - Österns röda ros (1986)
"Red rose of the east" (meaning Palestine) You might know this one already if you've seen my pinned post. Including it anyway since it sadly still is relevant and because I think I might like this 2015 version best
Thåström - Djävulen o jag (1989)
I made a whole post about the various live versions of this song and the studio-version is also a favourite! But I feel like especially this version only needs a couple of oil barrels and it would fit right into a Kaizer concert
Thåström - Radio Thåström (1991)
This list got a bit heavy so have a silly nonsense song with a silly nonsense video!
Peace Love & Pitbulls - A. Psycho (1992)
In the early 90's Thåström said fuck this, eloped to Amsterdam and started a industrial- rock- techno- metal- band, or as a swedish journalist put it "went to Amsterdam and drilled into a mountain wall for 5 years". I'm glad he did, and so was Marilyn Manson who cited PLP as an inspiration (Just so that no one gets the wrong idea, PLP came first!)
Thåström - Vacker död stad (1999)
Then he got tired of playing with the sampling-machine and replaced it with "a fuckton of guitars". All of sweden celebrated the return of the king except for little me who did not get the appeal of this terrifying angry hobo (or "waldschrat" as @copias-juicebox would say!)
Thåström - Kärlek är för dom (2009)
Thought this one has a vibe that might be up your alley. Bit of Öppet hav-feel? (Live video just because Thåström stage-antics)
Thåström f. Titiyo - Papperstunna väggar (2021)
Probably my favourite from his latest album to finnish off this list! Titiyo has a beautiful voice♡ (First time I watched this live video I thought 'dude are you ok?' but now I know this is perfectly normal Thåström- behaviour! (Rip tumblr you would have loved to diagnose him)

I always imagined Aurora in full plate before I started playing, but she looks so nice in the various ring mail armors (especially this more ornate one) that I think I've changed my mind a little.
Maybe she favored the chain/ring mail in her days under Bhaal, finding it a more versatile and flexible style of armor over plate, while still giving a reasonable amount of protection. Like heavy armor has disadvantage on stealth either way, but I can't imagine ring mail and full plate would make nearly the same amount of noise.
And then that shows itself again after being tadpoled, with her actively choosing chain/ring mail over anything else without quite knowing why. I imagine it's a more practical armor to travel and fight in anyways.

What’s your favorite type of belch: the lazy, long ones that just roll out of your mouth when you’re resting from a big meal, or the short but loud ones that make other people clasp their ears to muffle the sound? Maybe the juicy, saliva-spraying burps that come from drinking too much liquid, or the foul, gassy eruptions that can bring tears to people’s eyes? Or is it some other kind of eructation entirely?
oh gosh the first two 100%. but while my ultimate favorite would probably be length and volume combined, if i had to choose, i think i'd have to go with length.
imagine, if you will: someone finishing an absolutely ginormous meal. they've eaten so much that they can't bring themselves to stand, so they just lean back in their seat as they rub their full stomach. then, they open their mouth as a casual belch comes rolling out. it's not bery impressive in terms of volume, and they don't even seem to realize they're burping, with their eyes half lidded and shoulders slumped. but even so, the belch just keeps going. and going. and going. there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. then, when it finally does peter out, they just heave out a contented sigh, too tired and full to remark on how truly impressive that was.
oh yeah. that's the stuff.

At first I was like oh Honey no. But then I put my squirrelly brain on and like yeah I can see where Kuroko is coming from now. While Taiga has been a great teammate and is always looking out for Kuroko. The person who's the driving force in their friendship is Kuroko, always reaching out, showing up when he's eating, following him home, and sharing his middle school trauma. If you put that under the lease of someone who indulges his opponents bad habits before ruthlessly taking advantage... p1
p2 Like Kagami has let Kuroko into his home. But he's not really shared a lot about himself. He hasn't met Kuroko's parents or been over to his house. He's not shared anything about his friend on another team, even tho Kuroko has been talking about all his exes and how they play basketball. Like Taiga is obviously not an asshole, but Kuroko is the guy really pursuing the friendship.
look. this is where having more understanding of japanese culture helps. do you know how intimate going over to people's homes is? being invited? kuroko is very polite and very japanese, canon. there's a lot of guessing culture vs asking culture going on - reading the implications and social cues.
(kuroko acts like a little shit w taiga bc of the relationship they built up - a bit of verbal roughhousing, pushing each other's buttons, taiga presents his stance and kuroko trying to meet him where he is)
(the door metaphor in ch 6 was kuroko feeling mirth at taiga's mannerisms, and him trying to communicate an idea in a way he thought taiga understood - he's not normally going to make a metaphor that unhinged lol)
kuroko has the dog excuse, but that means taiga's mannerisms are permissive enough that kuroko feels allowed to ask. yeah, taiga is pretty americanized, but with the adult perspective and being hyper-cognizant of this new culture he needs to navigate (+ actually absorbing things in saturday school), the fact he 'complains' but lets it happen is big. and his dad offering the key to kuroko (his dad sees something there, implied)
while you're right, taiga is pretty reserved otherwise (and his inner narration can obfuscate that), he never denies any overture kuroko makes. even with the snark. kuroko asks, taiga bitches but eventually responds with honesty (even if it's a bit evasive).
(which is kinda ironic compared to canon)
he also actively jokes with kuroko, and because basketball is an activity that kuroko loves, being an active and solicitous teammate is essentially the same as wanting to enjoy something together with someone you like. (there's good teammate like passively 'i'll play the game and pass the ball to you', and there's actively working on the other person's skills, acknowledging them, tracking them, etc)
showing up where he's eating... it's a canon gag that kuroko was always there, and the other person just didn't notice (ie. they approached kuroko while man's just chilling and spooked themselves)
he hasn't really shared his trauma yet (he = kuroko). but the generation of miracles is an unavoidable topic for the high school basketball circuit of the setting.

It annoys me unreasonably when you want to ask people "what bird and what mammal would make the worst gryphon" as a fun thought exercise, and people with no joy and no imagination always interpret it as "a gryphon that sucks, is physically impossible, and would hate being alive", and - being predictable and lacking in imagination - always, always answer with "a hummingbird and a blue whale lol".
Like come on. Why do you have to suck the fun out of everything. Why not use a fraction of imagination and delightful whimsy. Imagine the combination of a mouse and a sparrow. That creature would be merciless, burtal, absolutely determined to get into your trash and has the power of both wings and hands to do its will. Or a crow and a cat - that thing is smart enough to fuck with people and not afraid to do it. Imagine the ungodly shriek of the noble fox-seagull, also determined to get into your trash.
A gryphon that is a combination of a kangaroo and a cassowary. The only proof we have of a loving god is the fact that those things do not exist. If hell is real, it's full of them. That thing can't fly, but it will run you down, it will kill you, and you will look stupid the whole entire time you're dying.
Why would the first thing that pops into your mind at the words "the worst gryphon" automatically be "a gryphon that hates being alive". Can you not picture a gryphon that fucking loves being alive, and has both the power and the will to make it everyone else's problem.
