Heya heya! Couldn't help but get excited by the idea of an AB-centric blog on here. Could you possibly drop something Danton and Nina related sometime? Maybe some headcanons or a oneshot? Perhaps of the fluffy nature?

Heyhey! I absolutely can, these two are so relationship goals. Danton x Nina * One of the things Nina hated most was working overtime, another thing Nina hated most was dealing with the traffic of coming home after said overtime. Oh, how she wishes people could either learn to drive or get off the damn road. Finally reaching her and her husbands apartment was always such a relief to her. * Slamming her car door shut she'd begin her trek up the stairs to the apartment door, fumbling with her keys until she found the right one to open the door and walk in. * "I'm home." She'd tiredly announce out into the apartment, which smells like a bakery. Soon after, she heard excited footsteps coming from the kitchen as her beloved would poke his head out the door way. * "Heya, darlin'!" Danton smiles brightly. "Hang on, when you're finished gettin' ready for supper, I got a surprise for ya!" He goes back into the kitchen to finish what he's making. Nina smiles as she shrugs her coat off, soon after kicking her shoes off, and the walks over to their little dining area and takes a seat. * A few more minutes later Danton pops his head back out of the kitchen. "Close your eyes! It's a surprise!" * Nina chuckles at her husbands antics and closes her eyes, even covering them for good measure. She hears him walking towards her, then she hears the sound of a plate being set down in front of her. * "Alright, you can open 'em!" * She does, she's greeted with a plate of cookies that have little hearts designed into them. The one cookie on the top has a little pick in it that says 'I love you!'. Nina can't stop herself from grinning widely. * "I made ya dessert!" Danton beams as he proudly puts his hands on his hips. Nina giggles, leaning up and giving Danton a kiss. * "Thank you, love." She gives him another kiss. "Might I ask what you've prepared for dinner?" * He lights up. "Of course!" He quickly runs back into the kitchen and lifts up a pot to show her. "I'm making spaghetti!" He gets out plates soon after that. * Soon after, the rest of their night is filled with the two of them getting to talk or vent about their days over their lovingly prepared dinner and dessert.

-two mini request ideas: a little oneshot with Caine (i just love him lol, he's my little silly dude), and maybe something domestic with Anton and Annie? First thought I have is them maybe going to a diner or restaurant (again, sorry im not too familiar with AB lol)

Hey there! Very good questions! Here's my responses in order:

First, I have a headcanon story about Anton that I wrote about a while back, which in my mind explains most of his personality. Basically, his parents weren't on great terms with each other. They divorced when he was a tween, and he spent a lot of time with his father after the split up. Anton thus learned a lot of really bad habits from his dad, including his drinking habits, anger issues, and generally destructive behavior. Eventually, his dad had a super serious mental breakdown and his mom got full guardianship of Anton after a brief court dispute. Rough stuff, really. He spent the majority of his late teens in Boiler City with his mom, eventually meeting Annie after a strange encounter on the street. That's a different story, though.

Second, in regards to the couple question, I have to say my piece about the greatest AB ship ever, Dantina. Yeah, I know I talk about it a lot, but I genuinely love the dynamic of the strong but goofy nice guy and the super serious girl boss. Everything about what's been revealed to us through tweets, discord convos, and official art portrays them as the best couple in Boiler City. Conversely, since there's not much info about them, there's plenty of room for headcanons.

One of my personal favorites is what I like to call my "Dantina Devotion" headcanon. The basic idea is that these two are so ridiculously in love with each other that even if they take "breaks" (basically not addressing each other unless addressed) after a fight, their brains are consumed with thoughts about each other, so their disagreements don't usually last more than a few hours, at most a day. Of course, the my hc of Danton's crossdressing hobby is also one of my favs. What can I say, I like strong men in cute clothes.

And of course, Nina has her own attributes, though I have yet to flesh them out as much as I've done for Danton. The most I have is that she's an absolute queen who stands up for her Danton whenever the situation calls for it. Definitely a "he asked for no pickles" type situation.

Finally, your requests are quite something to think about. I'll admit, I've been waiting for more info on DC's release, but I might be able to conjure up an idea involving him and Bubble. And the AB idea sounds pretty good too!

you turn away from the main street into an alley that you need to walk on in order to get to your house. it is normally quiet, and no one likes to use it. it's perfect.

today's different, though. a man stands down the other end of the alley, one that you vaguely recognize from the public executions.

he just stares at you, a blank expression on your face. you tense up, understandably worried by the situation.

he signed the warrants of the deaths of many citizens you know, after all.

he walks closer to you, and before you could walk back into the main street, he says to you,

"i need your help."

he tells you, briefly, about what he needs. he knows that, from your previous actions, you have been loyal to the revolution, and that he has been looking for you specifically for this.

he wants you to help gather intelligence on the dantonists, who are becoming a growing threat to the committee of public safety.

the problem is, you are very close to some of the head dantonists.

the dantons and the desmoulins' had been family friends of yours for a long time, and saint-just knew that.

what do you do? do you spy for the committee, choosing your beliefs over your friends, or decline, possibly putting your life on the line?

It depends who this man is.

If he was Benjmain Tallmadge? Hell yes, I would do anything for him.

Though, in all honesty, I probably would at least spy for the committee, not the other two. I'm not like Abe who is one-sided, always focused on himself and his beliefs and overall, just simply stupid.

why is everyone so into the whole "grantaire is an artist" thing when he is so clearly a literary nerd, like,,,

like i know here he was probably being a dank ass as he does but. listen. grantaire. who really fancied reading and creative writing as a kid. who picked literature at university. university life is not the way he'd expected it to be, there's a lot of studying required and he just struggles with it. he wishes he could just express his creativity freely without all those technicalities and notions he doesn't feel are relevant to his interests. he feels the academic system is somehow hampering his creativity. he loathes the system, it has ruined the one thing he'd always been so passionate about. he gets really frustrated, the world has lost colour to his eyes. he can't bring himself to read anymore. he's lost all inspiration to write poetic bits about the beauty and the contradictions and the colours and the vibrant lights of the world.

Words: 1221 A/N: A prince(ss) and the frog AU in which you are the only one who can turn a beautiful but forlorn Danny back to his human state. Hope you guys like this!

You were not having the best day of your life when you met Danny. Yet another mismanaged project meant you had to work past midnight for days in a row, you still hadn’t procured the tarantula hawks you were going to release into your manager’s office and now, on your blissful day of rest your parents had decided to pay you a visit.

You loved your parents of course, as all children who were only mildly traumatized while growing up were contractually obliged to do, but they were a lot to deal with of late. They scoffed at your plans to land a hockey player--your own personal big bad Bruin--and insisted that you find someone normal to date.

At this point they had even given up on the gender of your future partner, despite their natural homophobia.

And now they were running late, bickering over parking which was entirely your dad’s fault if the texts from your mom were anything to go by.

You heard the voice just as you were wondering what would happen if you chucked your phone in the river and ran for the hills while waiting outside your house for their arrival. The voice was as deep as the ocean and carried an unspeakable sorrow in it. It was the most beautiful thing you heard all week.

“Ribbit!”

When you turned, in front of you was a golden frog with large beady eyes.

You crouched next to it to get a better look, slowly enough so as not to scare it away.

“Aren’t you a thing of beauty?” you asked, your voice thick with wonder. Its slimy shiny skin alone--truly there were no words. Instead of scaring away, the frog leaped forward towards you.  

You read somewhere that brightly colored frogs often tended to be highly poisonous but at this juncture in your life it would be a stretch to say you cared too much about life.

When you stretched out your hand, the frog jumped onto it in one graceful hop.

“Y/N what are you doing?” came your mom’s voice. The disapproval in it was as familiar to you as life itself.

You stood up with the golden frog settled comfortably in your palm.

“Mom, dad,” you said. An ingenious idea had just occurred to you. “I know you really wanted me to find someone to date. And well, this is Danny. He is a prince but he got turned into a frog you see.”

You stretched out your arm towards your shocked parents so they could get a better look.

“I-- Y/N what on earth?” your dad said.

“Y/N put that grotesque thing down on the ground right this moment,” your mom added.

“Ribbit! Ribbit!” Danny vehemently protested at being called a ‘grotesque thing.’

You grinned. Why should your parents have a monopoly on messing with people?

Danny as it turned out was a frog of manners. He sat on the table in perfect composure throughout the dinner, only occasionally dipping into the bowl of water you put in front of him to keep his glorious skin moist and only politely sticking his tongue to get the dead flies from his plate. He was a little bit awkward when it came to conversation--not much of a talker, you observed--but he did make some excellent contributions with a couple of timely ribbits when the occasion called for it.

As much could not be said of your parents who kept giving poor Danny the evil eye and telling you to quit this ridiculous nonsense right this moment.

“I know you wouldn’t understand true love,” you said when you were all done with dessert, your voice high with betrayal.

“I told you people would want to marry their dogs if we supported gay marriage,” your dad told your mom. He had waited a long time to say that. “Or their frogs! It’s worse when it’s a frog.”

You told them they would regret it when you kissed Danny and he turned into the gorgeous prince that he was.

The look on both of your parents’ faces would serve to amuse you until your dying day.

But in the background on TV a news anchor was reporting on the curious disappearance of the Bruins forward, Danton Heinen.

“We hope he can be found,” Joe Haggerty was saying, “so we can trade him this instant. Right after we trade Tuukka.”

Your heart nearly stopped. Danton Heinen was your favorite Bruin, only after God himself, Patrice Bergeron.

But then Danny said “ribbit! ribbit! ribbit!” forgetting his manners and jumping up and down in place and a thought occurred to you.

Could it be?

“You are him, aren’t you?” you whispered to Danny. Danny looked at you with his sad beady eyes.

Not sure of what you were doing you offered your outstretched hand once again.

“I think I can fix this.”

Danny jumped onto your hand, his trust in you complete.

You raised him to your face.

“Y/N!!!!” your mom was saying but it was too late because in one fell swoop your lips found Danny’s moist mouth and in one quick kiss--

There was a pop! And a force enough to throw you off your seat. Your parents screamed in sync, the first time they agreed on something in ages.

When you opened your eyes and sat back up, looking at you from the floor was none other Danton Heinen himself, looking at you with wide eyes.

He was naked. His skin was so pale it would make a sheet of paper look tan but the freckles on his chest were cute and his abs were gorgeous. You craned your head. If only he moved his hands a little you could get a good look at his cock too, but--

“Holy shit,” your mom said.

“Hi,” you said, suddenly star struck.

“My savior!” Danny said in that deep booming voice of his that always reminded you of a Boeing plane. “I knew I could trust you!”

After that you worked very hard to get your parents out the door even though they’d suddenly taken a great interest in the events.

Danny laughed awkwardly when it was just the two of you left, rubbing at the back of his neck. He looked adorable in your sweatpants which were too tight for his thick muscular hockey thighs.

“You really kissed a frog to spite your parents huh?”

Now it was your turn to laugh awkwardly. “I kissed a frog because I knew it was you,” you bluffed, lest Danny think you were some kind of weirdo. Which you were but he didn’t need to know that from day one.

He smiled, told you he owed you one.

You wondered whether it would make you a horrible person to say ‘well I can think of ways you can make it up to me’ but then it was between being a good person and getting to bang Danny and really your morals have never been that strong. Your mom commented on it often.

“Well I can think of ways you can make it up to me,” you said and Danny blushed.

When he moved to find your lips, this second kiss was way more satisfying and less slimy than the first.

And that was how you landed your NHL boyfriend.

A LOOK BACK: Radyo5's First 10 years on the air

November 8, 2010 at 4am, Nation Broadcasting Corp's DWFM 92.3 shifts its format to news/talk as the first radio station to utilize the format in its stereo FM existence in the Philippines from its introduction back in the 50's. NBC, previously owned by the Yabut family back in the 60's began in Zamboanga City and eventually expanded nationwide through AM & FM via satellite. When the Villar family and PLDT consortium took over NBC's operations in the late 90's, NBC resurfaced its radio network, and even launched its TV broadcast with a partnership under MTV Southeast Asia. Soon after, the NBC AM Network (Angel Radyo) was acquired by the consortium of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy and gave birth to Sonshine Radio. The FM network eventually divided since some stations were entered into a blocktime with WAV Global.

NBC, under the TV5 Network/Mediaquest Group, took over its operations before the launch of Radyo5 92.3 News FM on November 8, 2010, with Martin Andanar's Andar ng Mga Balita as its first program, and began 24/7 broadcasts. Radyo5 became the permanent home of Raffy Tulfo's long-running public service program Wanted sa Radyo, Cristy Fer Minute of veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin, debuts of Paolo Bediones, Cheri Mercado, Lourd De Veyra, Danton Remoto, Hans Mortel, Benjie Felipe, Aida Sy, Bayani Agbayani, and Amelyn Veloso, and eventual comebacks of Tyang Amy Perez, Laila Chikadora, Erwin Tulfo, Ben Tulfo, Joey Falcon, Arnell Ignacio, Shalala, Neil Ocampo (+), Dr. Edinell Calvario, Joe d’ Mango (his last radio career before his migration to Australia), among others, on radio. 3 years later, Radyo5 moved its studios to TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong. And months later, it reduced broadcast hours due to budget cuts in the network. The said radio station became worse for the following months of 2020, including COVID19 Pandemic and its operating loss, that led to some shows to produce LIVE from the anchors home.

By October of 2020, Radyo5 underwent major makeovers as it welcomes two of the best radio personalities today: veteran broadcaster and commentator Ted Failon, and award-winnig radio DJ Czarina Guevarra a.k.a. Cha-Cha (both from ABS-CBN). The two anchors their 4-hour news/commentary, public affairs, talk and music show every morning during weekdays. As Radyo5 bids goodbye by the end of 2020 and it will now handle its operations of NBC under the new management of TV5 Network through its parent Cignal TV Inc., some of the shows ended early or will end before yearend (Healing Galing, Oplan Asenso, Chink Positive, Perfect Morning, BolJak, Relasyon, Power and Play, Alagang Kapatid sa Radyo5, Chillax Radio, and Tech Sabado). The STAR Media Group (Philippine STAR, PSN, Pang-Masa, The Freeman, Banat News, People Asia, PULP) will handle its programming while NBC-Cignal will handle operations and broadcast spectrum. Radyo5's first decade on the airwaves is a journey for the Kapatid network (since its former radio property of then ABC-5 was taken control by UBSI as Energy FM's new home from 2011 onwards). But the new chapter for NBC Radyo5 network will be bigger, better, stronger than ever.

The NBC Radyo5 network composed of originating station 92.3 News FM Mega Manila, and relay stations 102.3 News FM Baguio City & North Luzon, and in Bacolod City & Western Visayas, 101.9 News FM Cebu City, Metro Cebu and Bohol province, and in Davao City and Metro Davao, 97.5 News FM in General Santos and SOCKSARGEN region, and 101.5 News FM Cagayan De Oro City; and affiliate stations under Kaboses Radio News FM of Allied Broadcasting Center- 99.9 Ormoc and 104.7 Tacloban (only airs the Failon-Cha Cha program in syndication).
