Concept: Kristoph Gavin defends Simon Blackquill in the UR-1 trial.

Reason: Kristoph's "innocent by any means necessary" mentality would run counter to Simon's drive to protect Athena.

Result: Simon pleads guilty in spite of Kristoph's (not entirely honest) attempts to prove him innocent. Both men are quite pissed at each other for this.

Would also help DD feel less disconnected from AJ & make Apollo channeling the man all the more unnerving.
