📽️ A Perfect Pairing (2022)

Did I know exactly what was going to happen in this movie before I ever watched it? Yes. Did I watch it anyway? Also yes. What can I say? I’m a sucker for corny Netflix rom coms. Despite knowing how the movie would end, I enjoyed watching this one. It was full of rom com cliches, but isn’t that what rom coms are all about? It was a relaxing, entertaining watch. This is a movie someone can unwind to because it doesn’t require deep thought to enjoy. Just sit back, relax, and don’t take it too seriously.

Sex/nudity: 2/10 (kissing, some innuendo)

Language: 2/10 (nothing horrible)

Violence: 2/10 (I think there was a bar fight, but I may be remembering a different movie, I’m pretty sure it was this one though)

Overall rating: 6/10

will try not to spoil anything btw!

from the title itself, you just know its one of those hallmark type of romcom movies and tbh i havent watched one of those in a really long time thats why i gave this a shot + victoria justice was the star and i havent seen any of her new stuff in ages so it was all about watching something new after a long time

super cute plot and character stories - thats one of the things i really enjoy about these types of romcoms is that they can literally make a love story about anything

when it comes to thinking it was cringey, there was just like one teeny tiny part in the movie where i scrunched up my nose with how cliche it was but nothing too bad

the "plot/s" were surprisingly well-put in the whole timeline! like it wasnt rushed into the story but it wasnt also left too late near the ending that much

can i just fucking say - adam demos is just so so so so FINE; i loved him in falling inn love and i like how his character there has the same personality in a perfect pairing so it just means that im pretty sure he's just being himself most of the time in these types of movies

super duper feel good movie and i would definitely watch it again; this is definitely going on my list of comfort movies

and last but not the least, and in my opinion, is the best thing about this movie: the soundtrack; it was perfect! it fit every possible scene, the songs melded into the sceneries, and the fact that they used one of my favorite songs as the main song for the movie just made me feel so ecstatic and i literally cant stop smiling
