Currently fucking bawling to A little theorizing by the stupendium after watching Matpats final theory, Jesus I didn’t think it would hit me this hard. I am going to miss him but I hope he is happy and I am so excited to see what’s next.
These sets have dumb shit inside,
And on my teams, I don't mind if,
If you're insane, or if you're Quark Drive-in',
So why not do a little Tera Fighting?
I think it's time we did a little Tera Fighting...
hi sorry in advance if this is weird but i couldn't for the life of me figure out who machete was reminding me of and just now i figured it out - surku the dog from the moomins. can't remember enough to tell how accurate that is personality wise but something about the image of a distressed pointy-nosed dog shivering in a coat... plus ne on molemmat ahdistuneita queer ikoneita
I love Surku! Surku must be protected at all costs.
If you ask me, he's even more distressed in the comics.
I keep him on my fridge door as well.
But now that we're on the topic of Moomin characters, I must add that I see Machete in various Fillyjonks a lot. The short story Fillyjonk who believed in disasters is one of my favorite pieces of literature ever, when I first read it it shook me to my core, I still revisit it on yearly basis. For someone who seemed so wild and free spirited by nature, Tove Jansson did remarkable job at catching and depicting the essence of anxiety, uncertainty, vague sadness and irrational fears. At least in my opinion.
So I don't think this is actually the case but what if Eliza and Isaac's deaths werent over a petty amount of cash and a robbery gone wrong? What if, instead, Dutch had seen Arthur spending time with them, had perceived him slipping away as a threat: a threat to himself, his gang, his security, his family, afraid of losing his lead enforcer - whether he truly at that point did love him like a son, or not. And in his insecurity or fear or whatever other reason, he finds someone rotten, unrelated to the gang, and he pays them to murder Eliza and her little boy, so no one will ever tempt Arthur away from the flock, and he instead puts all his energy and time into the gang, the only family he has left.
okay so we all know that I am the #1 Phaya being a little shit (affectionate) enthusiast but I do think his reaction to what the doctor said was... interesting
like I get it, random strangers knowing your issues isn't cool and at this point Phaya would have no reason to believe that the doctor found out some other way, but that was one hell of a strong reaction (Phaya you can actually talk to Tharn you know, poor Tharn looked genuinely confused and concerned)
but it's also making me wonder if Phaya being a little too hotheaded might have been part of the reason why their past lives ended in tragedy
(also if we assume that the thinking face he made after eavesdropping on Tharn and Yai was because he heard them talk about Tharn's vision, then you'd think he'd come to the conclusion that Tharn would be the last person to consider him crazy because of the dreams... Phaya bby please use your brain, you're smart enough to be a special force police officer, I know there are some brain cells there)
I'm having the internal struggle of going "WHY DID WE ONLY SEE HIM FOR 30 SECONDS?????" and understanding that yeah, they didn't have room in the story to fit him in and they're definitely saving that story for season 2, and I really enjoyed the story we got because it was so well written and I especially loved Sora pretty much disowning her shitty parents like hell yeah, the ninja are her family
But also 30 SECONDS NOOOOO I MISS MY BOY BRING HIM BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!
In the Sandman, since Dream 'came into existence once lifeforms capable of dreaming appeared in the universe', I wonder what that lifeform is and what did it dream of. Like what is the first dream in the universe about.
