Oropher and Thranduil in Doriath.

Prince Oropher is a workaholic sometimes-over-protective-dad who manages the financial aspects of the kingdom of Doriath, as well as making sure the agencies that regulate the development of the infrastructure, military, rations and economics, etc. are working correctly. He's the Secretary of State, basically. All these qualities served him well when Menegroth was no more and he had to raise a whole new Kingdom in Greenwood. Rivendell and Lorien are elf settlements but small compared to the Oropherion halls which are basically a Menegroth 2.0. where most sindar survivors and green elves live.

As an adult and a King, Thranduil eventually realizes that the workaholic sometimes-over-protective-dad part is genetical. He thinks Oropher would find that hilarious. Somewhere in the Halls Of Mandos Oropher definitively does.

Definitely channeled Moi Meme Moitie as well as my OC Margeaux for this one. As much as I love pastels and bright colors, I really enjoy this kind of palette just as well! As for props, I'm glad I get to show off my cool teacup set I got from an antique store while back, as well as a perfectly sized frame I found while cleaning the other day. I took way too many photos and it was really hard picking which ones to post without making this "do you love the color of the LPS" lol trust me this is only 10% of them.

Maybe the rarest tea cup in the collection is this Shelley 'Cloisonne Black Crackle Chintz' pattern made between 1925 and 1945. Shelley Potteries was established in mid-1800s in Staffordshire, England. However, Shelley is probably best known for its fine bone china "Art Deco" ware of the inter-War years.

Man, to have this story be about a girls’ soccer team in particular. Girls, who are taught to play by clean rules of society that must be actively unlearned in the wilderness. Athletes, who famously operate on superstition, rituals so easily transformed in crisis to matters of life and death. A team, which fundamentally cannot succeed if all parties aren’t working in tandem for the good of the whole. It’s so smart, and so simple, and goddamn, I love Yellowjackets.
