(@the-last-of-alto-mare) Zipporah walked slowly in the crowd, looking at a scrap of paper with a confused expression. She was like that till she accidentally bumped into Reshi. "Oh? S-sorry. Ah! you are the lady before. Are you feeling alright?"
She looked at her, then the paper. "Umm if I can ask some help, do you know what are these numbers mean? I-I got from a Latios." she blushed and showed her the paper. On the paper there was a name 'Jet' and a series of numbers.

Anyone could see the gears turn in her head, a confused expression on her face. Reshi takes the parchment and studies it for a good moment, now entirely enthralled in the potential meaning the little note held.
“Well surely it’s a good sign if he left you his name and a note! But…” She couldn’t make put anything the note said, not even the name. The letters were stange to her, let alone the sequenced symbols beneath it.
She’d never seen either language before, or perhaps it was a singular language? She couldn’t tell. “I’ve never seen anything like it.” She started “It must be positive since he gave it to you though. Perhaps it’s a code?”
Sitting down at a nearby table Reshi ushered the legended to sit with her while she pulled over some excess napkins and began to write down each symbol individually. “Perhaps together we can figure this out! Maybe he wants you to meet him somewhere alone?”
“Can you read any of this?” she asked, looking over at the latias.

Val wrote a poem about Michelle in his poetry book my Edens after burns called The Pfeiffer Howls at the Moon. 📝
(she had a crush on him but he didn't feel the same way.. he still admired her so he wrote this poem as an apology🥺)

Just realized that when Ramses calls Moses a snake charmer after he turns the staff into a snake, it's a callback to when Moses said Ramses was "not much of a snake charmer," when the priests gave Zipporah to him, and he said, "that's why I give her to you." Implying that Moses *was* a snake charmer.

Jacob Jordaens, Moses and his Ethiopian wife Zipporah (Mozes en zijn Ethiopische vrouw Seporah)(Antwerp, c 1645–1650).
* * * *
Jordaens' painting is a half-length depiction of the biblical prophet Moses, and his African wife, Zipporah, on display at the Rubenshuis Museum in Antwerp. Moses, a white man with dark hair, stands in the foreground, his right hand palm up and his left hand on the Tablets of Stone. The tablets are in shadow, their contents, the Ten Commandments, are unreadable. Behind him to his right stands his wife Zipporah. Her right hand is to her chest. The ribbons in her hat resemble a cross. The painting draws on Numbers 12:1, which states that Moses was criticized by his older siblings for having married Zipporah, a Black woman (Æthiopissa in the Latin Vulgate Bible version). The plain import of the very is that Moses' wife Zipporah was Black. Another interpretation is that Moses was criticized not for marrying a Black woman, but for having married more than once. Jordaens appears to have come across the story of Moses and his Black African wife reading Josephus Flavius' Antiquities of the Jews. Jordaens likely made the painting not on commission, but for himself or a close friend since it remained in his possession. Art historian Elizabeth McGrath says that
'Moses defends his black wife before the viewer, not his brother and sister. It is from the viewer that the Ethiopian woman draws back, questioning, puzzled and perhaps a little fearful. By his brilliant exploitation of the device of inclusion and confrontation, Jordaens gives the subject a pointed relevance, challenging Christians of his day to accept Moses's Ethiopian, as Miriam and Aaron could not, not just as a representative of pagan wisdom, a shadowed image of their own Church, but as a neighbour, in herself.'
The painting answers the question: what does the Bible have to say about interracial marriage. The answer: it's fine, and those who criticize it are bigots.

"SO aerodynamic!! You really have a way of flying in style!!"
Reshi adores the fingerless gloves! The colors mesh so well and she can't deny the color black looking good on her.
