Yua

Another ref for my Jojo ocs.

Info on Yua under the cut.

Yua Romeo was born in Japan, though her family came from Italy.

Her life was fairly normal growing up, both parents worked shifts so would work around Yua. Though as years went by her mother started to slowly get ill. When Yua was around 11 is when her mother had to stop working due to this illness. At first her mother used this to look after Yua, but as it progressed it ended up with Yua having to look after her mother.

At school she got along with people and even had quite a few friends, but as her mother got worse she started to push people away, due to the fact she was upset and angry about her own situation, she just didn't know how to handle it.

When her mother's illness started to get worse around when she was 14, Yua herself fell ill with an known illness, which ended up being the stand illness/sickness. Yua managed to pull through it, despite for the time when it was looking very grim for her. And she ended up getting her stand Laplace Angel. Her sickness was dismissed with the excuse of stress from her situation.

After she got her stand, she started to push more people away, as she didn't understand what her stand was or what it wanted. But after a while she started to see her stand as her only friend, viewing her stand as her mother, since to her, her mother basically felt dead to her due to her mother not being that reactive due to her illness. So she felt her stand was her mothers soul trying to reach out to her and look after her.

Yua spent a lot of her free time, that wasn't spent with her mother, trying to learn what her stand could do. And using her stand to try to let out her emotions. She'd often use her stands ability to fly to go to remote places to just be away from everyone and to be able to use her stands powers without having to worry.

Yua surprisingly was still doing alright at school, just didn't really get along with people too much. But its not like she wanted to really get along with everyone, being partly jealous of peoples lives.

Yua's dad had to work a lot to keep money coming to the house, so left Yua alone a lot with her mother.

Yua wanted to go to college after she finished school, but she started to accept the fact she probably won't be able too, due to her having to look after her mother. She loved her family, and didn't want to leave them in such a situation. But she still has a sadness about this fact, and hates the illness her mother has for both taking her mothers life away (metaphorically) and her life away (metaphorically).

As Yua started in Budou-go Oka Middle/High School (I think thats the name of the school, the school Jouske and Jouta go too) she spent 2 years of the school on her own, till she meets Noelle. In which the two end up becoming friends, since they both see that they have stands. Noelle being the first person that Yua meets that has a stand. Which she finally starts to feel she could possibly finally get along with someone.

Yua and Noelle become very close as the years go by. Due to the fact they both have 'ghosts'. Noelle slowly helping Yua to come out of her shell more as they both use their stands to subtly mess with people, mainly using Noelle’s stand to do so, since it was the best one to mess with people due to its ability.

Despite Yua's friend helping her, she still acts like a bit of an asshole half of the time, not to Noelle though. She knows its bad to act like such an asshole, but she can't help it since she feels these people don't understand her. Her anger is more of a defence mechanism if anything.

When Yua and Noelle saw that two new students were joining for their final year they decided to mess with the two, those two ended up being Jouta Kujo and Rae Walker.

They just wanted to mess with the new kids since they thought it would be funny. Using Noelle’s stand "Messages from the Stars" they used the ability to make people obsessed with the new kids all of a sudden. Which they didn't realise that the other two were also stand users, which they (Yua and Noelle) were quickly found out and a fight started between Yua and Jouta. Due to Jouta having training with his stand he was easily able to have Yua backed into a corner. With this they both agreed to have an uneasy pact to not mess with each other.

Over time though Yua and Noelle started to interact with Jouta and Rae more, Yua going out of her way to hang out with them more than (Friends name). In which she slowly began to become friends with Jouta and Rae, and later being friends with King as well.

Yua still has Noelle as her close friend, but also has the main group as some of her close friends too. Even though she won't ever admit it she adores all of them. She she actually feels she can act like her true self, that she can actually act her age, rather than having to act older than what she actually is like. She loves when Jouta and Rae are being goofy, since they always encourage her to join in with whatever dumb shit they have planned.

Though it wasn't always like that, when she first started to become apart of the group, she originally hated Rae, since she didn't like how happy go lucky he was, not seeing how anyone could be that happy. But after having encounted a few enemy stand users and having to protect each other they slowly came to realize about each other. Now seeing each other as close friends, though Jouta acts as the go between for them both sometimes still.

Yua is 5,7 (and still growing, though it won't be much), and is around 17 years old, but on the older side.

She still spends most of her time looking after her mother, but shes decided to try to take time for herself when she can now. Choosing to spend this time with friends rather than spending it alone.

She will have the rest of her family come take care of her mum when they can, so she can actually act like a normal teen.

With the help of her friends she realized that she needed this time and it was something she had to do for her own mental health, even though she loves her mum.

Yua is someone who acts cold and cool/calm, though she does have a fun side to her she tries to keep her cool personality at the front of her. She still struggles to get along with people, but over time shes come to slowly get along with others, with the help of her friends.

She cares a lot for her family and friends, and would do everything again if it meant she could spend even more time with them.

Her stands abilities are being able to fly/carrying Yua to be able to fly her places.

And being able to teleport small distances of 4 meters.

Shes also able to summon and shoot spears made of (golden) fire. And is also able to charge a fire beam that takes 6 seconds to charge and needs to be standing still (or falling just not deliberately moving).

The stand is also very large being 8,5. So due to the stands size it hits quite hard and has a large range for physical attacks. being 4.5 metres.
