For some reason I'm imagining how it'd be for Saruhiko to get pregnant and he goes to Misaki and says, confusedly and nervous, that he's craving vegetables for lunch. 😭
Oh no D: I'm assuming this is either omegaverse or trans Fushimi, say post-ROK he and Yata hook up and maybe they even end up getting married. After some discussion and concern and just generally dealing with Fushimi's issues around children and parenthood Fushimi ends up pregnant and he's probably extremely crabby about, I can just imagine him having so many complaints. His knees hurt and he hates having to go to the bathroom so often and morning sickness and he's just generally miserable and not exactly glowing. Yata's doing his best to be a good supportive partner, he's really excited about having a kid and gets to be the one reassuring Fushimi that he'll be a great dad and this is gonna be great he just has to get past the pregnancy thing.
Pregnancy has also given Fushimi some weird cravings, like it's actually gotten him to eat some things that aren't mild and flavorless so Yata figures this is kinda a plus right. One day they're both enjoying a day off together and Yata goes to make lunch, he asks if Fushimi wants him to make some hot pot or something. Fushimi pauses, looking irritated and maybe a little confused and Yata asks if he's okay. Fushimi clicks his tongue and Yata wonders if he's having a craving. Fushimi nods and Yata asks what it is, anything Fushimi wants Yata will make, within reason anyway. Fushimi mumbles that it's nothing and Yata's like no seriously you're carrying our kid the least I could do is make you something good for lunch. Fushimi keeps evading but finally he reluctantly grits out '...vegetables.' Yata's like wait what was that and Fushimi has this pinched expression as he repeats 'vegetables.' Yata's like 'you're...craving....vegetables' and Fushimi sighs and nods. Yata takes that in and then gets this huge smile like all right vegetables, let's get some vegetables. I can just imagine him grabbing every vegetable he has in the kitchen, like taking full advantage of this situation while Fushimi grumbles at him not to go overboard. Yata's like don't worry I'm gonna make you so many vegetables and Fushimi just sinks his head down on the table, looking down accusingly at his stomach like this kid had better appreciate everything Fushimi is going through right now.

What your favorite Lupin The Third Character says about you
When people make these they always just say nice things and traits of the character and it’s dumb so here’s me being right
Anyway my reputation for misogyny is legendary
Ok this largely depends on if you like edgy Jigen or goofy ah Jigen but
You desperately need to stop getting into arguments online, both in general and on whether Jigen is deep and emo or a silly guy
Gay Gay homosexual gay 🫵
You took one look at him and Lupin and said “Damn these bitches gay!” In a half joking way but the show itself proved you right in 10 seconds
Lol emo
Ok but actually seek psychiatric care
You either write porn about him in your head or you’re extremely asexual
There’s something weird going on with your gender but that’s kinda true if you watch this show in general
You’re too broke to get that next piercing don’t do it
You’re either as devastated about them whitewashing our boy as I am or you should be
Hey remember they whitewashed Goemon too you should be equally as mad about that
You head canon he speaks Spanish
Go to bed
He’s a nice man
Seek help brother
You play with jpegs like dolls
Beneath your eyes is a deep dark hole of information on this show’s lore
You also hate him so much and you want to see him die painfully <3
You want that twink OBLITERATED
You should really raise the price on your art it is so much better than you think it is
Some of you have only seen the first and it shows
“Brother,,,,, help me,,,,,,”
“Long live the king……”
Lol you thought I’m not letting you off that easy you’re deeply traumatized You’ve never felt safe in your life and the most inner hurt part of you desperately needed an adult to help you at a time in your life when you should’ve been worried about learning your times tables not whether you’d survive another day and one of the reasons you’re drawn to characters like this and collect fictional fathers is because you see a glowing smile and an infallible hero who could’ve saved you when you needed it the most
Or you’re Japanese native but like
Autism 👿
Woah dude are you like… autistic???
Stop looking at his tits
A small but significant subsection of you people are just racist and cannot be normal about Japan
If someone asked your thoughts on him you’d just be like :)))) the silly
You have way too many screenshots of him looking weird in the background
You def hate part 5 and twcfm
Whenever tms forgets he exists for a while you still watch it but you look like a wet kitten
You’re def short
You need to stop coping and accept it he looked fully insane in part 3 the hair is so so bad
You’re probably transmasc
I just wanna say I’m so sorry
She’s an ugly bitch there I said it
STROP BEING HORNY
You’re probably a girl
And definitely bi
Y’all probably know the least about the show as a whole
Good for you!! You actually touch grass
Or again you’re in the racist subgroup
The titles for each character confuse you but you only realized this one’s Fujiko because either I just said it or you saw the “stop being horny” and knew
You probably have insanely hot takes on the show
They did your girl dirty im so sorry
You’d die on the hill of whichever of her hair colors you think is best but at least you’re dead
I’m scared of you
Hey you should watch the first if you haven’t already
Zemigamna 🥺
You cry every time someone says Yata was boring and didn’t need to be in the show
Miyazaki studio gibli ass 🫵
Please you still have time left you can get out before you become obsessed you’re not in too deep yet RUN RUN SAVE YOURSEL
Or this show is all you have left and it’s infinitely too late for you no in between
Again probably a girl
You’re definitely not normal about fujiko either
You hate that one movie where he’s a dick with a burning passion and you would write 20 page essays on it
If you’re obsessed with him you probably have a chronic illness (same bestie) or major physical disability
Anyway if I fully clocked you let me know I think it’s funny to see you guys suffer

Now finally, the question that I should’ve asked a while go but needed to be sure about, give me all the ideas / headcanons you have of HOMRA as a vampire nest. Because I’m really curious.
C
Ohhh, thank you so much for giving me the chance to really write about this! I had had a lot of thoughts for this at the time the ask was sent in and getting to revisit the idea and the previous thoughts, along with getting to think of new ones, really made me so happy! I hope you'll enjoy reading these as much as I enjoyed writing them!
Okay, so as mentioned, this came about because of the Yata as a vampire headcanon request I did. I kind of looped around to wondering what HOMRA would be like as an entire vampire nest and while one was inspired by the other, the two don't exist within the same universe but should be treated differently. Just clearing that out of the way.
This AU really starts with Mikoto and Kusanagi. Both are vampires sired by the same master around the same time. While they hadn't known each other in life, I really do see them kind of growing up from fledging, newly turned vampires into being able to deal with and make use of their vampiric natures beside and with each other. Needless to say, they've formed a strong bond and friendship with each other and they're really the start of what becomes the nest.
I do see their master being killed, dusted by a vampire hunter, and the two are left alone really in the world. And I think that's something that really continues for quite a while until they stumble across and meet Totsuka. Totsuka travelled with one of the many travelling circuses/freak shows that were popular in the mid to late 1800's, one of the 'Gypsy' fortune-tellers. Something about that chance meeting was magical. Totsuka seemed to see something in Mikoto that Mikoto had long stopped seeing in himself. Mikoto and Kusanagi followed the travelling show and a friendship grew between all three of them…So much so, actually, that they slipped and let Totsuka see them for what they were. And maybe it was Totsuka's complete faith in them and his complete lack of judgment based on their vampiric natures (in fact, he often called them 'angels with fangs' and insisted there had to be good they could do for the world) that led to what happened next.
Of course, it wasn't too hard at all for these men to really see that the life Totsuka had with the travelling show was not the happiest or safest, by any means. And in the darkest part of night, Mikoto left the choice up to Totsuka - die in service to the show or live forever in a different kind of hell, alongside Mikoto and Kusanagi. Totsuka didn't even have to think because honestly, he'd probably been dropping some hints. He was taken and turned that night.
Of course, Kusanagi and Mikoto had never really dealt with a new, fledging vampire and Mikoto had never sired anyone before. Totsuka woke hungry and really forgetting his past self and it took a lot of accidents, hard work, and learning for all three of them before Totsuka was able to not only control his vampiric urges but was able to hunt and feed while keeping common sense in his mind, and he grew to learn how to balance who he was, and in some ways truly still is, as a human and in his soul with who he has now become as a vampire.
The three of them settle into life as a nest and it really does remain just the three of them for many decades. Totsuka won't allow them to really draw away from the human world as they had before, and it's really, in some ways, for the best. All three of them are constantly reminded of their humanity and while they are usually nomadic, never really settling into one place for too long for vampires because you really can't risk people noticing you never age or all the other weird little things, Totsuka is the one to really get out and make friends with humans. Maybe it's Totsuka's real love of humanity and connection with that world that allows him to convince Mikoto to use Mikoto's very strong vampiric powers to sire more people. To help others as Mikoto helped Totsuka.
And so Mikoto does and the nest does grow. Mikoto does have demands on who joins though…they must come willingly and they must want the change. Mikoto refuses to change anyone who is scared of the nature of vampires, even in their heart of hearts, and they must really and truly understand what they are getting into. They must want this, for whatever their reasons, and they must pledge loyalty to the nest.
Anna is the next to join the nest, sometime in the 1900's. She seems to have developed some sort of bond with Mikoto in particular, being a special child in some ways (part of what drew the interest of the men who kept her) and said to be clairvoyant. I see her as being a child slave of a sort, kept as a 'pet' in a cult, in very real danger in her life when they discover her. All three of the men are yes, vampires, but they all do have moral compasses and I believe they feed off the people who have her kept as a 'pet' for their sadistic pleasures, brutally so. Anna witnesses this, knows they did it to save her. They do offer to find her a safe home, a safe life as a mortal, but she honestly wants to stay with them and refuses that offer. Instead, she asks that they take her with them, that they give her the chance to stay with them forever. Mikoto sires her and she rounds out their nest for the next little bit.
The next to join their nest was Kamamoto, during the first World War. A soldier who had never wanted to be in the war, who had never even really wanted to leave his small little town and settled life there, they encountered Kamamoto first while out at night hunting. He's a friendly guy, talked to them as if it was no big deal for these weird people to be out so late at night. He kept the other soldiers from hassling them, gave them suggestions of where they could go to find a nice hot meal and at least a bed, and not knowing what they really were, just trying to be kind to a seemingly very young girl, I see Kamamoto as sneaking Anna his piece of governmentally provided chocolate as a little treat for a child in war times. They don't hurt anyone on his base for the kindness he's shown them and they all liked and respected him. However, it was never initially going to go beyond that. Until they stumble across him again, left in a trench bleeding out, abandoned by his own troop as unsaveable. Though pressed for time, they reveal themselves to him and do give him at least the minutes needed to understand what they can offer him. Kamamoto is terrified, scared…he doesn't want to die. He hadn't even really gotten to live. He takes their offer and becomes a nest member.
Chitose and Dewa are living the transient life during the Great Depression. Childhood friends, they're doing everything they can to survive. Homeless, trying to find work wherever they can, not sure where their next meal will come from…their life is hard. The offer of a life that is not only much easier, but the power to keep that situation from ever happening again? They take the offer after the nest takes interest in them and become HOMRA's next two members.
We're making a brief change to Yata's nationality here, just because the idea kept being so strong and so great to me, but because I had always seen him as a World War II soldier in this AU, I like the idea of them finding him shortly after his troop showed up to really help liberate the concentration camps. He's always been a good soldier, he hasn't let the war break him, not completely…but to see that absolute depth of depravity and pure horror and revulsion that these were human beings who did these things to others. They weren't monsters in the closet, they weren't the boogeyman under the bed. These were human beings who tortured and killed and did all this to other human beings. I think the nest encountered Yata a lot throughout the war, just by the fact that they were kind of keeping an eye on the front lines (it is, after all, a wonderful way to ensure there's always people to feed upon without really having to worry about their deaths raising suspicions). They might even, in some cases, have borrowed military uniforms to blend in, with the exception of Anna. And when they encounter him again, just kind of broken from all the true horrors and shocks of the war sinking in and weighing on him, they make him the offer all of the nest gets. He sees this as a way to abandon humanity, the same humanity who disappointed him so much, and a way to gain power enough that he is sure he will stop such horrors from ever happening in the world again, and he not only accepts, but begs for the change.
I think after Yata, Fujishima's the next to be brought into the gang. I see him as part of the '70's punk scene. Then there's Bandou brought into the nest during the '80's. I don't have any actual solid ideas in how those two came into the nest, just roundabouts when they did.
Shouhei is a teen, maybe 20 at most. A runaway who gets big into the 90's rave scene, he knows a lot of the other homeless youths and becomes a person who helps the homeless band together, create little tent cities, take care of each other. I think he unwittingly stumbles across one of the nest feeding and that's how he learns their secret. He freaks out, tries to help the person they were feeding on, but over the next couple days, thinking about it and really reconciling the fact that vampires exist in his mind, he comes to a realization. A realization that being a vampire would likely mean he'd be stronger, more powerful, more capable to protect the others in the tent city. He tracks down and approaches the nest, begs to be given the power. Mikoto bloods him into the nest and though Shouhei never really returns to the tent city, they remain in the area for at least five to six more years so he can look after the residents there, find ways to keep them all safe and the nest doesn't move on until the last of Shouhei's friends either get back to happy, safe lives again or unfortunately pass on.
Eric's another one I see being a runaway, trying to escape a really abusive foster home. The bruises and evidence of the full extent of the beatings are still so evident with Eric, along with the malnutrition and exhaustion, when the HOMRA nest finds him and though I don't have all the details straight on how he joins, I do think they do it as a way to help him and protect him and while he's the most hesitant of all the boys to join, he does agree and becomes the latest and last in HOMRA's nest, sometime in the early to mid 2000's.
Anyway, going into some of the just fun little headcanons I had for this. Obviously, we don't really get to see Mikoto and Kusanagi as fledging vampires, those newly blooded. The newly blooded vampires can often lack any self-control. Their hunger is insatiable, they tend to get drunk on their new vampiric powers, and they can be mighty dangerous. Totsuka wasn't actually really bad as far as fledging vampires go. He did have an issue with extreme thirst, but the lack of self-control never seemed to apply to him and Kusanagi and Mikoto were really able to easily keep him in line, bring him to a place where he could coexist as both human soul with vampire powers and life, where they could teach him the safest ways to feed and how best to use and control his powers. Like Totsuka, Fujishima, Bandou, and Dewa were all pretty good as far as new vampires went and were all largely able to be kept in line and taught by only one of the three. Anna, Kamamoto, and Chitose were all a bit more difficult and needed more supervision from at least two of the older vampires and all of them had at least one situation where the older vampires really had to step in and the nest needed to move ASAP to avoid vampire hunting becoming a really solid sport again. Of course, as most of you can probably figure out, Yata, Shouhei and Eric have the most trouble with the change. They all either have issues with their hunger or they get really drunk with all the new power they have. In the case of those three, all three of the older vampires had to be on constant watch for the first year of those boy's vampiric lives, just to be safe, and there's been times when all three of them had to be shackled with iron, just to keep things from becoming an absolute bloodbath outside.
Izumo, Bandou, and Dewa are all the most level-headed in terms of practicality within the nest. They're the ones who oversee the financial matters, buy the houses, figure out ways to keep the nest safe during daylight hours, focus on the security of the nest and how to avoid detection, and really are the ones who keep the day to day of the nest's survival and happiness. I do think everyone contributes to the savings over the years, and the Nest as a whole is quite comfortable, to say the least.
Shouhei, Totsuka, and Fujishima are the ones who miss the sun the most and I love the idea of, when virtual reality becomes a thing, them getting really into it just so they can pretend to be walking in the daylight.
Totsuka, Kamamoto, Yata, Shouhei, and Eric all get into the vampire craze when vampire movies and novels get popular. They find them amusing and funny. Chitose doesn't mind them either and probably gets into the vampire club culture for a bit, just because it makes finding willing food easier.
On the subject of food, Chitose feeds mostly through sex and always from a willing victim. He's good about taking only what he needs and because his real strong power as a vampire is charisma and producing lust in others, those he feeds off never really have any complaints.
Yata, Totsuka, Anna, and Fujishima all prefer non-live feeding, surviving mostly off of packed cells or bagged blood they steal and accepting that it will weaken each of their enhanced vampiric gifts. (For those wondering, Yata's the one capable of shifting form into a big, black crow and flying, Totsuka's real strong with hypnotic suggestions, Anna's natural clairvoyance was greatly enhanced, and Fujishima has many animal familiars he can communicate with and who will obey his commands).
The rest of the boys all prefer live-feeding, and it's only Kamamoto and Eric who have problems sometimes holding back and who might kill every now and then through feeding. Both guys tend to feed off sleazy or outright criminal people though, scummy types, so nobody's looking too hard into the deaths. And Eric especially has a berserk button for abusers and they're often the ones he preys on.
Now, as far as enhanced vampiric powers, Shouhei is another one I see having enhanced charisma and hypnotic suggestion abilities as his real strong vampiric power. Mikoto and Izumo, as the oldest vampires, have the most balanced and the strongest abilities out of everyone. Eric, despite his wiry statue, and Kamamoto both have enhanced strength as their real defining power. For Bandou and Dewa, I'll admit I really did not have ideas for what theirs would be, sorry!

Entry 124: Everyone Forgets Everything
Xenologue 16: Heirs of Fate II: Realms Collide
Shigure narrates that this chapter is about a different realm with a separate Kana, the male one. The chapter opens with Sophie and Dwyer in a town, fighting against dragon form Kana. Dwyer explains that he found Kana crying and that he suddenly turned into a dragon. He speculates Kana lost control because his mother died like their fathers. Sophie refuses to believe Silas is dead and says that they'll rescue their fathers.
The map scrolls over to Forrest, who is traveling with his retainers, Nina and Ophelia. Ophelia is giving directions using a rock that she's pretending is magic, because she forgot that she made up the fact that it's magic. Ophelia says it was a good-luck charm from Odin. As an aside, I do love the fact that Odin once again sacrificed himself to hold off enemies attacking his loved ones. Ophelia says that she believes with all her heart that he wouldn't die, but doubt is beginning to creep in. Forrest says that he didn't encounter his father, but found Byrnhildr lying on the ground, implying Leo dropped it after dying. Nina says that she won't mourn Niles, because he's an asshole who never visited her and that it would have been better if Niles saved Leo instead of her. Forrest tells her to perish the thought, because he couldn't get by without her and Ophelia's company.
Forrest's group hears Kana's roars. Nina spots Vallite soldiers approaching and Forrest decides to go save Dwyer and Sophie, saying it would disgrace the bloodline of Nohr to let them die. A battle begins, using Ryoma's boss map from Conquest. Forrest and Dwyer can talk to each other. In this conversation, they introduce their teams. Dwyer says he's happy to be rescued by a beautiful woman, then corrects himself to say he's happy to be rescued by a beautiful man. Alternatively, you can have Forrest talk to Sophie, who correctly identifies Forrest as male and mentions Forrest’s horse is a girl.
This is an escape map, giving you two routes to go. Asugi, Caeldori, Midori, and Rhajat stand in your way. Shiro, a swordmaster like his father, stands like Ryoma in the middle. I assumed he would stay there for twenty turns like his dad and took my time through this map. I was wrong. He begins chasing after turn six, making this map a terrifying dash for the exit.
Kana is in dragon form during this map, which is neat. Apparently, you get a scroll with the skill Magictaker if you beat this map without losing any units. I say apparently, because I’m getting this info from the wiki. Shiro killed a few of my units. You get similar skills but for different stats in all of the other Heirs of Fate chapters except the last one.
After battle, Kana turns back to normal. He explains that Corrin died after giving him her sword and saying to run. Nina points out that they must have all been attacked at the same time for a reason. Forrest says Kana will be useful for saving their parents. Kana begins crying and Forrest attacks him with Byrnhildr to stop him from transforming. Forrest explains that time does not flow in reverse (except in Awakening) and that they can only help Corrin by looking forward, not back. He points out that no one else is frozen with grief and tells Kana to be a brave warrior. Yata turns into Grim Yato. Ophelia likes the name.
Kana reveals he knows everyone else's name already, even though they don't know him, and asks why they don't remember him. Ghost Azura pops up and explains that their memories will return when it's all over. Kana can't remember Azura dying. Azura says that he'll soon forget her, just as the others did, just as they have forgotten Kana. Sophie says that she would have remembered forgetting Kana. Also Azura gives Kana a dragon stone.
Azura says that maybe they've never met this version of Kana, because of the whole Deeprealms are alternate universes thing. She says some flowery shit about memory and says there's no point in explaining stuff because they'll only forget it. She says there's no reason to worry about forgetting their loved ones, because you won't remember it and be sad about it. Ophelia and Dwyer disagree, calling it a dire tragedy and saying that forgotten people are essentially dead respectively. Azura says that memories and life are interchangeable. She warns that, when asked to choose between their memories and something else, that they should choose what they can't afford to lose.
Shigure sings the Conquest verse. He implies that the curse on Valla is responsible for the scrambled memories and says the key to escaping it is a stone left behind by a dragon. He says that straying from the correct path will cause the curse to eradicate all memories and emotions, washing them away like the tide.
He really is Azura’s son, considering how frustratingly cryptic he is all the time.
Support: Mana/Selkie
C: Selkie and Kana think each other are cool. They decide to go hunting together.
B: Kana and Selkie are good at hunting together. They decide to come up with battle plans together.
A: Kana and Selkie are good at killing together.
S: Kana says he likes her and they get together.
Review: BOOOORING.
Support: Hisame/Rhajat
C: Rhajat's curses aren't working and end up doing the opposite of what she intends. Hisame gives her tea and pickles which are so good Rhajat thinks they are enchanted.
B: The tea calms Rhajat and makes her magic work right. Rhajat loses a charm, but remembers where it is after Hisame gives her tea. Hisame explains he is always relaxed because Hinata is high-strung and taught him what not to do.
A: Rhajat makes tea alone. Hisame is worried she won't have tea with him anymore, but she says she needs to learn his relaxation techniques.
S: Hisame is stressed because he likes Rhajat. Rhajat calls this cute and says she wants to be with him forever, because his tea made her deadlier. Hisame isn't calmed by this.
Review: Decent but not extraordinary.
Support: Caeldori/Siegbert
C: Siegbert sees Caeldori fighting and says the throne should belong to someone like her.
B: Siegbert explains he's worried about whether he's fit to be the king of Nohr, because he thinks he is inadequate. He explains a king must be a perfect paragon who excels at all things, or else he does not deserve the power vested in him. Unfortunately, Siegbert sees people better than him in every subject. Caeldori says that perfect monarchs only exist in fairy tales because no one is perfect. Siegbert says Caeldori is perfect.
A: Siegbert apologizes for calling Caeldori perfect and ignoring the pain of people thinking she's gifted, because actually she works hard. Caeldori says Siegbert can perceive the pain of others, meaning he'll be a good king.
S: They get together in a scene where neither of them feel like themselves.
Review: Siegbert’s anxieties over being king are good, but this one flubs it with him apologizing for thinking Caeldori is great at everything. I’m gonna be honest, I don’t like Caeldori very much. Her lack of flaws make her boring and annoying. And yes, there are a few Supports where she is flawed, but this isn’t one of them.
Support: Ignatius/Ophelia
C: Ophelia warns Ignatius that evil spirits are feeding on his fear. She shouts DUCK to mess with him, causing Ignatius to faint. Ophelia tries to wake him up by setting him on fire.
B: Ignatius is mad at Ophelia, so she tells him that frowning attracts evil spirits. Ignatius tries to smile. Ophelia says she'll protect him from evil with a good luck charm and chunks salt at him. Ignatius asks if it worked and Ophelia admits she's just making it up as she goes along.
A: Ignatius decides the good luck charm worked because he hasn't died yet. Ophelia says sure let's go with that. She begins researching miracles, like how swordsmen with cursed hands unlock hidden potential through emotional trauma. She says with miracles, their friends wouldn't have to die.
S: Ophelia doesn't find any miracle magic. Ignatius proposes. Ophelia decides to test a new spell on him with only a low chance of instant death.
Review: This one is fun, but Ophelia acts a bit too ridiculous.

kissing your lover under the night sky while stargazing. // Olu @ Somi
Tumblr media Tumblr media
somi often wonders about all the things she's become grateful for in the last few years since returning home. mitsushuge, yata...oh, how she cherished their presence in her life. this has become more and more of a home, it makes her feels utter warm inside. the night sky certainly helps. it's clear tonight, the stars twinkling meerily. olu is a warm presence at her back, one thick arm around her waist, fingers stroking her hip, twin-tails wrapped around his wrist.
❝ ━ it's so pretty tonight. ❞ the words are a whisper, wistful and quiet. ❝ ━ how easy it is to forget how small we are compared to sights like this. i can climb the tallest trees but i'll never be up there. ❞ sure, there are far more favorable sights, like the lion with just a towel around his waist, or how breathtaking he was while sleeping and unguarded. but there's nothing to compare that too, just her little treasures to experience.
even aside from that, somi merely smiles, basking in the comfortable silence and wondering just how many more times they'll get to experience this. some would say it's silly, to be drawn into the quiet, intimate atmosphere but somi let it draw her in, let it guide her, even as her heart stuttered in her chest. leaning her head back against his chest, she gently caresses his jaw, drawing his attention to her before she shifts, hand sliding to the nape of his neck as she closes the minute distance to capture his lips with her own.
their lips part after several, long moments, gazes meeting. somi grins, before gently kissing him again. it feels like experiencing love anew, the hesitation, the desperation for more than one kiss, the need to keep each other close and yet not close enough. somi sincerely hoped that this wouldn't end. that the feel of his lips upon hers while bathed in moonlight would bless them both in all the ways that mattered.

The Indecipherable-Enigmatic Faith of this Love Story
I will share a 2013-2023 story... should I say in the making?
This is about my ex boyfriend in high school, let's just call him 'Anj'. The post above is about him. It's not really all the context, so I think this is the right time to update this because it is fucking strange to me. Up until now, it's fucking confusing.
He was the best man I never had in the end. He was the standard, entirely what I want in a man.
He made my high school days special and unforgettable. Puppy love story ng mga high schoolers. I was contented. I do not remember why we broke up before going to college but we did. I remember taking Psychology for my first year in college, and I never wanted anyone but him in a room full of interesting men. Kahit sobrang daming umaaligid, nagpaparamdam, nagpapaalam na gusto ako, I don't care. So I stayed single for a year, bukambibig ko parin siya sa mga kaibigan ko. Palagi akong may kwento tungkol sakaniya kaya parang hindi rin siya nawala sakin, kasi baon ko parin lahat. We're not talking much nitong mga panahon na 'to. Siguro from time to time lang, once every couple of months.
After one year of taking BS Psychology, I was able to shift to my dream course, BS Electronics and Communication Engineering. Bestie, sobrang daming pogi! Ang daming very attractive kasi ang talino talaga. But at the same time, it was a lot of pressure because it's not just my dream to finish this course but as well as my father's. I was able to move on during this time, busy ako sa acads and finally I got to accept things pero I am still thinking of him from time to time. I was certain I'm okay. Until hindi ko na siya nasagi sa isip ko.
One time, my friend invited me to join them, pupunta daw sa MCL (he was enrolled in this university at the time) kasi may banda na tutugtog. Up Dharma Down! Ito yata yung time na maingay mga musika nila, kaya tuwang-tuwa ako at excited pumunta. Di ko naisip kahit isang beses na mangyayari yung hindi ko inaasahan...
I was standing at an enormous football field at MCL. I was facing the court area where the band will perform. Until suddenly, people walk past me and my friends.
I looked at them, it was him.
I am certain it was him. Nanginginig ako nito, hindi ko alam yung sasabihin ko, I remember just making noise of excitement until I became shocked and quiet. My friends are asking me what it is, words seems having trouble getting out of my mouth. My eyes are fixated in their way. He was with 2 girls and a boy who is a high-school friend of ours. They looked like a group of couples who will watch UDD to perform that night, it crushed me. I won't forget about this memory because this became the waking up call that I still love him and I don't want to lose him for good. I think I reached out to him, we talked, I convinced him to take me back and make us work. And though at first he didn't want to, we ended up getting back together. I was living the dream.
He was always at my place. We had a lot of fun, conversation, understanding, love and memories. Every puzzle perfectly fits. He would always help me with my papers, he would usually stay past midnight. Even if we can't talk or bond, he would just stay beside me while I finish all the things I needed for school the next day. After that, we would make out all night, and I don't know why but we didn't get tired of kissing for hours.
But things were a lot for me that time. I was having a hard time to keep up with my future, academics, and having to maintain the relationship as well. Napagod ako. Narindi ako. Nahirapan ako kasi sobrang hirap maging panganay. I remember failing a subject and had to choose if I should focus on my acads or have him still. I chose to let him go and focus on my future.
That was the very last time he was really mine.
But he never left.
Technically, he never did. I met someone, the 4-year toxic relationship? He saved me multiple times in that relationship. When I felt like I want everything to stop and be loved the right way, I will break up with 4-year toxic relationship then he will be there to comfort me every time. He became my knight and shining armor. He never questioned anything, accepted me open arms and loved me like how I deserve and wanted to be loved. Pero yung gagong ako, babalik kay 4-years na toxic dahil "mahal ko". This cycle happened many times, yeah, I know. Manggagamit ako, gago, mapagsamantala, malandi, name it. But that was never my intention.
Every time I will go back to Anj, it felt like it was the right thing or it was all I ever wanted. I always thought it was the right decision until I miss my ex and can't forget about my 4-year ex then it will be a miserable situation for me again.
Anj became the standard. He was the living representation of the kind of man I wanted in life, that is true hanggang ngayon. Until now, no one have lived up to that or past that. But the timing was never right, time was never kind to us. By the time we are able to go back together, I was not in love with him anymore. It was the most cruel realization I had to experience. He was just an idea, the standard, a memory, someone who I know will take good care of me and love me no matter what. In short, wala na akong mahihiling pa. Pero hindi na siya yung mahal ko.
I tried my best to stop talking to him, okay man ako o hindi. Ayoko nang sagipin, manggamit ng tao at manamantala ng kahinaan. Kahit pa hindi ganon yung intensyon ko, ayoko na manakit ng tao dahil hindi ako sigurado o dahil magulo akong tao. And I did.
The indecipherable-enigmatic faith of this love story starts here...
From time to time, maalala ko parin siya.
Why do I think that? You might ask. Here's why:
I still dream about him sometimes, and wake up feeling confused and heavy the entire day. I was not even thinking of him, but he will visit my dream out of nowhere.
I will remember him sometimes because of a thing, a place or anything that holds any memory of us or him.
When I am hurting, I always think of him and say to myself "kung si Anj to, he knows too well kung paano ako mahalin at kung paano ako i-handle." Or "kung si Anj to hindi niya ako sasaktan ng ganito"
Minsan bigla ko nalang siyang maalala, tapos mag-iisip ako na ano nanaman bang ibigsabihin ng lahat ng to! Ang gulo-gulo. Tapos biglang may matatanggap ako na chat or mail from him.
Napakaraming signs which are confusing me right now. Especially I wanted to enjoy being single for a long time and focus on myself. This doesn't help at all. My hopeless romantic ass are enjoying it too much.

MEMORY STORIES: REASONS TO HAVE FUN
* Projects & Chapters
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
"You are a mess, Misaki."
Fushimi, who was also out of breath, said that to Yata, who was breathing on his shoulders. He staggered a bit, but he reached over and picked him up.
"You are too, Saruhiko."
Yata laughed as he stood up, holding his hand back and yelling "Good job." They had arrived on time.
"It hurt…"
Their cheeks hurt and the blows they had received. Some of his clothes were dirty or torn.
"I'm tired."
"Well, it was 20 people."
Yata was satisfied and Fushimi looked around with a cold gaze. Men in black fell and groaned everywhere in the back alleys.
"Hehehe, we did it."
Yata proudly put his hand on his waist and stretched out his chest. Fushimi took off his glasses, saw that were cracked, and frowned.
"I don't know. Is it because of the power I got from Mikoto-san? Besides, I have received many additional attacks."
"But…"
Yata screamed as he stroked his mark.
"It wasn't a big deal, even though we did this for the first time, right?"
The pain he felt from the actual battle also seemed to be great.
Fushimi clicked his tongue, put the damaged glasses back on, and then said...
"Well, sure. There are still problems, but I feel like I have understood how to use the power. It was not bad in that sense."
He laughed a little.
"Mmm..."
Fushimi silently slapped a hand as Yata raised it, and the two exchanged high-fives.
++++++++++
That night, a drinking party called "Newcomers Yata and Fushimi Comfort Party" was held at the HOMRA bar. After the store opened, they brought cheap chu-hi and low-malt beer bought from Kamamoto's store, and friends who were properly assembled were scattered throughout the store.
However, among them were Izumo Kusanagi, who was in charge of the bar, Tatara Totsuka, one of the executives of "Homura" and, rarely, Mikoto Suoh, the "King" of the red clan. Of course, they didn't have a particularly deep intention, they just wanted to interact with the newcomers, or they were there on a whim, but their glowing faces were like "barking" to the promising rookies Yata and Fushimi. It also seemed to be an expression of the general expectations of "Homura" as a whole.
"Well, well done. Yata, Fushimi, you saved me."
Kusanagi said it in a good mood and toasted. It was Kusanagi who had recently sent Yata and Fushimi to investigate the real situation of the drugs flowing towards Shizume. After about two weeks of sneaking around with the inside information, they destroyed the criminal organization that handled the drug with the power of almost two people.
After the flashy exchanges, the evidence stood firmly, and the entry route and background relationship were clarified (mostly after Fushimi's post-sale follow-up), so it would be too good for the first team. The place was naturally lively.
"Then the enemy boss hit me on the cheek with a stun bar."
Yata told the story with gestures and emotions.
"But, I really get really excited."
The "Homura" members looked at Yata with a smile, and a trustworthy look. It was the night that he was accepted by the team as a symbol of "Homura's" "future".
And in the meantime, there was a person who sat half away from the party.
It was Saruhiko Fushimi.
Naturally, Fushimi was the other lead that night. The meticulous and detailed information gathering ability, the courage to face the actual battle, and the fighting power did not appear to be teenagers at all. The success of that mission depended solely on his power. However, he was not as lively as Yata in front of everyone, so he gradually spent more time in the corner of the banquet.
Even if adult members like Kusanagi and Totsuka were actively talking about his difficulties, he didn't respond much.
And he finally he left the bar alone. He had nothing else to do nor did he intend to go home.
However, he felt suffocated for no apparent reason and wanted to breathe the outside air. He reached into his pocket and looked up at the sky.
Is it because it was winter? Unexpectedly, he was able to see the stars in such a city.
For a moment, he was silent.
(Do you really want to go home?)
When such feelings arose,
"Uh. What happened, Saruhiko?"
They called him from behind. Looking back, Yata stood there, he seemed concerned.
"What happened? Did you feel bad?"
"Hmm? Oh, I just wanted to feel the wind."
"I see."
Yata smiled.
"Then let's go back. Kusanagi-san wants to talk to you more."
"Ah…"
Fushimi did not have a solid reason to push for the proposal. He followed Yata, who started walking towards the store again.
At that moment, Yata said...
"I said it a long time ago, "I'll never forget those days", it's probably everyday life."
"......"
"It's fun."
Yata clasped his hands behind his head. Fushimi looked down.
"Oh, it's true."
The voice was cracked and somehow empty, but Yata, who was in front, could not hear it.
++++++++++
One summer afternoon. Yata and Fushimi went into their favorite izakaya and ordered draft beer for Yata and Malibu Cola for Fushimi.
"It's weird that you ask me to drink."
When Yata pointed that out while he was wiping his hands with a hand towel,
"I promised you would be excited next time."
Fushimi replied softly, looking at the PDA.
"Eh? Really? Is that so?"
Yata made a fuzzy voice. Fushimi raised his face and finally laughed.
"Well, okay, so I'll give you half. Actually, I was criticized a bit because I got rid of a stupid job that I had been doing for a long time."
"Oh, I will. So today it's your chopsticks."
"Cheers."
The two hit each other and toasted with a glass that reached the table. Yata was in a better mood than ever that day, and Fushimi was always on a fast pitch, probably because his shoulders were relaxed and he felt better.
Finally the drunk Yata shook from side to side with a red face.
"It's fun!"
He was happy and said so. Fushimi was drinking Malibu Cola, and said coldly ...
"Idiot."
Yata moved his mouth in dissatisfaction.
"It's fun because I'm hanging out with you. I don't always enjoy it like an idiot for no reason. Don't you know?"
Fushimi stopped raising the glass to his mouth as if he had been beaten.
"......"
Then he slowly said...
"Ah."
Like biting something.
"Unexpectedly, you may not have understood."
Yata, who is relatively innocent, did not notice Fushimi's childish appearance.
"It's fun, Saruhiko."
He repeated it while he smiled. Fushimi smiled softly.
"That's right, it's fun."
He answered that and drank again.

[Gakuen K] Yata Misaki Route Translation
Summer festival for three
Tumblr media
LIST OF CHAPTERS
[Translation under the cut]
Tumblr media
Saya: See you later, Yata-kun.
Yata: Yeah...wait!
Saya: What happened?
Yata: ...Nothing.
Saya: Is that so?
Saya: Yata-kun, you look good in Jinbei (a traditional set of Japanese clothing worn during summer).
Yata: A-are you serious?
Saya: I think it's nice and typical of you. Did you choose it youself?
Yata: You might say so...
Saya: I see. You have good taste.
Yata: Uhm. ..Y-you look good too.
Kamamoto: Sorry to keep you waiting!
Saya: Kamamoto-kun...
Kamamoto: It's hard to adjust the size. What do you think, is there anything wrong with it?
Yata: Uh-huh. I don't think that's the problem...
Kamamoto: What's wrong? You have a strange expression on your face.
Tumblr media
Choice: [Because it's cool]
Saya: I'm kind of embarrased because you looks cool.
Kamamoto: Ha-ha. Don't say that to my face, or I'll be embarrassed, too.
Kamamoto: The yukata suits you. The impression of a girl changes drastically once she changes her clothes.
Saya: Oh, thank you.
Yata: ...Hey. Isn't it about time to go to the festival?
Saya: That's right. Let's go, Kamamoto-kun.
Kamamoto: Yeah, right.
Tumblr media
Choice: [I still think it’s strange] ♥
Saya: I still think it’s strange. It's really you, Kamamoto-kun?
Yata: Yeah, it's definitely Kamamoto. When summer comes, he loses his weight.
Kamamoto: I'm just a little summer-dependent.
Saya: (I think he's changed enough to think he's a different person, but...I guess I shoudn't ask too many questions)
Kamamoto: Well then, Yata-san. Let's go to the festival.
Yata: Yeah, I'm so excited!
Tumblr media
Woman with long hair: Hey, hey. Isn't that guy good-looking?
Tall woman: Oh no, he's really cool!
Saya: ...
Woman with long hair: Let's talk to him~
Tall woman: Oh, it's embarrasing!
Yata: ...
Kamamoto: Sorry to keep you waiting, Yata-san. I bought some ikayaki (grilled squid)!
Yata: ...Thank you.
Kamamoto: Um, what's this cold atmosphere?
Saya: I think maybe it's because Kamamoto-kun is popular with girls on the street...
Yata: Even though it's Kamamoto...
Kamamoto: Me? I'm not popular.
Yata: Don't talk bullshit, liar! The only reason you're late is because you got seduced!
Kamamoto: Nothing like that. It's because the woman asked me for directions when I picked up a handkerchief that she had dropped.
Saya: I think she did that to get your attention.
Woman with long hair: Excuse me, do you have a moment?
Tall woman: We've never been to this festival before...
Kamamoto: Eh, what-what.
Saya: Whoa...
Yata: Hey, you okay!?
Saya: Uh-huh. I'm fine.
Yata: I-I see. ...Those guys, they pushed someone and didn't even apologize. I'll go complain to them!
Saya: It's okay. I'm not hurt.
Yata: But!
Saya: It's crowded, so it can't be helped. But it's a festival, so let's enjoy it.
Yata: If you say so...Then, let's go.
Saya: What about Kamamoto-kun?
Yata: Forget about him!
Saya: (I wonder if it's okay...)
Tumblr media
Yata: ...
Saya: ...
Saya: (Yata-kun didn't utter a single word)
Saya: (I have to talk to him. What should I say...ah!)
Tumblr media
Saya: This is beautiful...
Yata: ...What's that. Chopsticks?
Saya: It's a kandzashi. You put it in your hair. Have you ever heard of it?
Yata: Of course I know what it is! I said it on purpose, on purpose.
Yata: You seem to like that kind of thing.
Saya: Yeah. I guess so.
Yata: Hmmm. ...Are you going to buy it?
Saya: No, I'm not. Yata-kun, I'm sure ikayaki made you hungry, right? Do you want something to eat?
Yata: Y-yeah, I guess so. Let's go buy some yakisoba.
Saya: Yeah!
Yata: I'm full and have had my fun! It's time to go home.
Saya: Um...
Yata: What's wrong?
Saya: I think we forgot something...
Yata: Forgot...Did you drop your wallet?!
Yata: No, it's there. Something different...
???: Heeeeey!
Kamamoto: Both of you. I can't believe you're leaving without me!
Saya: Oh, I remember!
Yata: Kamamoto!
Kamamoto: W-what? Is something wrong with me?
Saya: I had the feeling I had forgotten something at the festival.
Yata: I totally forgot about him.
Kamamoto: Wow, that's cruel! You're cruel, both of you!
Saya: I'm sorry, Kamamoto-kun.
Yata: Kamamoto, you're a man, right? Don't sweat the small stuff!
Kamamoto: Okay...
Saya: It seems that more girls gathered around you after all.
Kamamoto: As if it wasn't hard already. I don't want to talk about me.
Kamamoto: Yata-san~. What were you two doing alone?
Yata: Huh!? W-we both, w-we just...
Kamamoto: What?~ Did you do something you don't want me to hear?
Yata: B-bastard! We just ate and played like normal people do!
Kamamato: Is it really all you did?~
Yata: Of course! What else you suppose to do at the festival!
Saya: (I wonder what Yata-kun and Kamamoto-kun whispering about?)
Tumblr media
Saya: Thanks for seeing me off. Goodnight, both of you.
Kamamoto: Yeah, good night.
Yata: That’s...I mean...I had fun today.
Saya: Yeah, I had fun too!
Kamamoto: Yata-san! The stake is high right now!
Yata: Cut the bullshit, stop messing with me and let's get out of here.
Kamamoto: Okaaay.
Saya: (The festival was fun...)
Saya: (Second semester starts tomorrow. Let's do our best!)

A mikorei scenario for the people who wanted to cry (it’s not so bad, I swear)
 {♔}
Post ROK. In the exact moment the Slate is destroyed, Mikoto’s eyes snap open. He has just woken up in what seems a hospital room, but besides that there’s nothing in that place vaguely familiar. A young woman, with short dark hair and a cheerful smile, welcomes him, briefly explaining him that he is in one of the Gold clan’s facilities, that he had been in a coma for all this time, and that she and her team have been taking care of him for a while.
Lately, he meets the chief researcher, someone who was working with the Gold Clan since before the day of the Kagutsu incident, aiming to avoid any Damocles Down. Thanks to their studies they managed to save Mikoto’s life and treat his injuries; however, his connection with the Slate somehow prevented him from waking up.
The reasercher proceeds to explain what happened while he was in a coma: how Anna became the new Red King, what happened to Homra, the death of the Gold King and the following arising of the Green Clan, how the Slate was destroyed and why. And, more in important, that everyone believes that Mikoto died. The reasercher concludes that their job with him is done, and that now Mikoto can do whatever he wants.
For a while, Mikoto chooses to do nothing; he is too debilitated, both physically and mentally, to even think to “go back”.
He has to face Totsuka's death and the consequences of his actions, and at the top of it, he doesn't know if he wants to go back to that society who caged him. He knows, no matter how much his people love him, that he will never fit.
Meanwhile Munakata is struggling with his new condition of  “normal man” (assuming that the Kings, differently from their clansmen and Strains, lost almost completely their powers with the destruction of the Slate); as time passes, he can’t help but notice all his limits as a common person, all the things he can’t do anymore: his powers didn’t help him only during his fights, but also intellectually and mentally. He gets tired more easily, unfocused more easily; he simply can’t do anymore all what he used to do and how he used to. Which it kinda leads him to constantly overwork himself just to prove (to himself) that he can still pursue his path. That he is still has some unresolved feelings about what happened in the last two years, feelings and thoughts that he is not willing to openly express to anyone, doesn’t help either.
Months pass in the new era without the Slate, months in which everyone is adjusting to the new reality, without anything important happening. Until one day, Mikoto shows up before Munakata family’s house.
It’s a Sunday afternoon, and he knows (thanks to the information provided by the researcher who saved him) that Munakata Reisi is there, paying a visit to his family.
Of course Munakata Reisi is shocked when Mikoto walks in his house. So shocked that at first he doesn't even know how to feel. He even forgets to punch Suoh. Instead, keeping his natural decorum, he simply listens to Mikoto's explanation about what happened, how he survived, why he didn’t come back earlier and why “now and here”. On the other hand, not so surprisingly Mikoto doesn’t seem to be able to give a proper answer to all the questions Munakata has. In his mind, to show up there and basically say “look, I’m alive” should have been enough. He was obviously mistaken.
They talk a bit, and in Mikoto’s words is implied he believes to owe Munakata at least the knowledge to not have actually killed him.
He then apologies for what happened, this time directly to Munakata, but without regretting his past choices (if anything it almost seems he regrets to have survived). Munakata is not surprised about that, to which he responds with a sad half smile. He asks what Mikoto is going to do. Their talk ends here, due to Taishi’s interruption to invite Mikoto to stay over for dinner.
Next step for Mikoto is going back to Homra (other sad story), which probably is a little harder than facing Munakata to him.
Of course the reunion is very emotional (just think about Homra’s surprise, Anna’s happiness and Kusanagi’s shock. How the latter can’t even believe about who’s before his eyes. Think about how Yata could feel, now that he has the chance to understand Mikoto-san, and about all the alphabet boys’ reactions).
However Mikoto has already decided not to stay at Homra; instead he’s got a small apartment not so nearby, where he can stay for the time being. To him it’s a kind of “safe space”, where he can live without feeling outside pressures (yes, even from his own -ex?- clan), and which he needs to adjust to whatever kind of life he will decide to have. It doesn't take long for Munakata to show up at its door: and always at the weirdest hours, especially during night-time. Mikoto can’t really say to be exactly “happy” about the timing, but even complaining a lot he lets Munakata in every time, because he knows this is the other’s way to reach out, and that he is the only one Munakata can relate to. So he offers him the not-so-cozy couch in the small living room and a drink, and they spend the rest of the night awake drinking and chatting, pretending to be enough drunk so that their words seem a little less real, a little more forgivable.
Both of them are struggling in different ways, and somehow, they manage to help each other, by barely being there for the each other. Munakata does most of the talking, often on completely trivial events involving bonding activities and suspicious collective spreading of fever or stomachache in the blue clan, and Mikoto mostly replies with “uh”s, always forgetting who’s this Fuse that from time to time appears in Munakata’s talking (he’s got a rough idea about a certain Domyouji, and for some reasons he can’t stand a certain Aki-bunny).
But there are other times, when their shared bottle (or bottles) is almost empty, and the night has reached its darker hours, in which their talks become more serious.
It's during one of these nights that Munakata murmurs:
"I /still/ want to save you, Suoh"
and that hits Mikoto hard, he can almost feel it physically, in how his chest clenches, in his lack of breath; because if the first time he heard that sentence from Munakata he was run to his own death, now it's different, now he's struggling to stay alive. And deep inside Mikoto isn't even sure if he is worth to be the object of all... that consideration. Because he doesn't feel he deserves it. And he asks "why", why Munakata should care so much about someone like him. And Munakata just smiles sadly, knowing full well they both know *why*, and also knowing it would be too easy, too simple, somehow *wrong* saying those little words, because neither is ready and is in a good state of mind, because both are a little broken over past feelings and now it's enough being together, it really is. {♔}
... And eventually everything works out and they live happily being idiots! :D
I didn’t tell everything, and I left out a little of Munakata’s pov in this (but it was becoming so long! ;A;), but this is my favorite “alive!Mikoto AU”, the one I go mostly with when I am thinking about a scenario in which Mikoto survives. If you see a lot of similitarities with some of @ridiasfangirlings‘s scenarios, well, you’re right! I built most of this AU also thanks to her, so kudos to Ridia! <3 I hope you liked my... scenario, story? and that you had a good cry! :D

[Gakuen K] Suoh Mikoto Route: It’s THAT season Translation
*Translator’s note : MC’s name shall remain as my normal (水嶋ラン) *Gakuen K Masterlist *Spoiler FREE : Translations under cut !
Ran: Hello!
Izumo: Oh, you’re pretty late today. There’s someone here before you.
Ran: There is?
Totsuka: Hello.
Ran: Totsuka-senpai.
Totsuka: It’s going to be THAT season soon, isn’t it? Are you prepared for it?
Ran: That? What are you talking about?
Izumo: Of course it’s gotta be THAT.
Totsuka: ‘Course, it’s the Crayfish Festival!
Ran: Cray…fish…? We had such a festival?
Totsuka: Huh? You don’t know? It’s the most renowned festival here on this isla- Ow, ow, ow!
Izumo: Hey, Totsuka! Don’t go lyin’ though your teeth with a straight face. Like heck we have a festival like that!
Totsuka: Ow…It’s not a lie! It’s partially true, at least…
Totsuka: It’s an actual festival somewhere in Northern Europe; I forgot the name of the country though…
Totsuka: Crayfishes are great, don’t you think~? The job of catching Crayfishes really reminds me of my junior-high days. How fun!
Ran: Such a job actually exists?
Totsuka: Yup. Want to do it together?
Izumo: Yes, yes, that’s enough. When did this conversation turn to Crayfishes? …Wait, what were we even talkin’ about before this?
Ran: I’m pretty sure we were talking about “That” season. What’s THAT, anyway?
Izumo: That’s it! You did well to remember; well done! ‘Course, it’s the mid-terms. It’s a really big event for you high-schoolers, right?
Totsuka: Right, that’s it! Have you gotten a test plan ready yet?
Ran: I’ve done practices and revisions, but I haven’t yet gotten down to actual studying for the test yet.
Ran: Do you suppose it’d be better if I studied for the test?
Izumo: Who knows. It depends on the individual’s level when it comes to things like this. I think you don’t need it, though.
Misaki: ‘Sup!
Izumo: But, Yata-chan definitely has to do it, even if he dies trying.
Misaki: Wha- Why are you guys talking about me?
Izumo: Yata-chaan, it’s gonna be that time soon. Ya’ know, that event. How’s your prepwork goin’?
Misaki: Prepwork? What are you talking about?
Kamamoto: Oh, are you talking about the Crayfish Festival?
Ran: Huh? Kamamoto-kun, you know of that festival?
Totsuka: Ahaha. I told him about it yesterday.
Kamamoto: I’ve never eaten Crayfishes. Maaaan, I wanna try eating it at least once in my life!
Misaki: You eat…Crayfishes? Why don’t you just raise it like any normal person out there, Kamamoto!? What poor things!!
Kamamoto: Ehh!? I do recall catching small Crayfishes and raising them back home when I was little, but still…!
Izumo: No, it has absolutely nothin’ to do with Crayfishes so forget anything related to those fishes. Yata-chan…you seem to be really free and easy right now. Do you even remember the existence of the Mid-terms?
Misaki: Mid…terms…?
Izumo: It’s small fry compared to the ones you take at the end of the year, but ya’ gotta’ get an average score for it at least.
Misaki: Ave…rage…score…?
Ran: He’s regressed to talking like a robot…
Totsuka: He seems to be under a pretty big amount of shock, judging from that.
Kamamoto: He’s really bad at studying after all…
Totsuka: Based on his normal scores, he’s one of those people who bring down the class average…
Totsuka: And Kusanagi-san…trying to get him to promise that he’ll achieve an average score…how cunning!
Totsuka: Oh, King! Have you already done the mental preparations for the upcoming Mid-terms?
Mikoto: Yeah.
Ran: Wow. As expected of the Club President!
Totsuka: He might be saying “Yeah” but he’s only just saying it and doesn’t actually mean that “I’ll be studying so leave it all to me”. Am I mistaken?
Ran: Really?
Totsuka: His strategy is to mentally prepare himself to take a full-body blow when the test comes by.
Totsuka: Although, he’s not exactly fighting a real battle. Plus, he’s already retained for a good many years now. Ran: Retained!?
Izumo: Yeah? I mean, I used to be in the same class as him.
Izumo: We were seatin’ in back-to-back with each other. Man, how nostalgic!
Mikoto: Did we? I forgot.
Ran: Suoh-senpai was retained…
Totsuka: I was his junior too, and somehow…I ended up being in the same year as him before I knew it.
Totsuka: King, you’ve got to work hard this year or else you’d end up being in the same year as her next year, you know?
Mikoto: I don’t really care.
⊳Choice: Let’s work hard together!
Ran: Suoh-senpai, I’ll cheer you on from the side-lines so please do your best for the test!
Izumo: Look, such a cute girl’s tellin’ you that! You’ve gotta be a man about it, Mikoto!
Mikoto: Shut up. If you’ve got so much to say about it, then how about you take the test in my place instead?
Izumo: As if I can do somethin’ like that, ya’ dumbass.
⊳Choice: You really do things at your own pace, huh…
Ran: I’m really surprised to hear that you got retained. You really do things at your own pace, huh…
Totsuka: What? I can’t believe it! I hate people like you, Suoh-senpai!! Or so, I was waiting for a reaction like that, but…
Ran: No, I do think that being retained for another year is a bad thing. But I wouldn’t go as far as to say that I hated him for it…
Totsuka: I see. You’re as nice as Bodhisattva, it seems. Good for you, King.
Mikoto: What about?
Totsuka: There’s someone in this club who finally understands you after entering. And it’s a girl, to boot!
Mikoto: Shut up. Quit making a fuss, Totsuka.

Mikoto: Getting forced to do a test ain’t my thing either.
Misaki: T-That’s right, isn’t it! As expected of Mikoto-san! How shiver-inducing your words are!
Totsuka: But those test results are precisely what decides your fate while you’re still a student, you know?
Totsuka: I won’t tell you to get full marks, but everyone should work hard so that they don’t cry during the Summer Vacation after getting their results.

Truth Serum: "Why don't you hate me?"
Truth Serum!: Your muses can now ask mine anything and they will beforced to answer honestly!
@bluetrayal
The question should have been expected, after all, Saruhiko was making it so easy to hate him, yet Yata had a hard time actually doing so. He was annoyed, angry, hurt even, but hate was never really something he’d felt. But still, he was unprepared to answer this question, even less so facing Saruhiko. But he had to.
Tumblr media
“Isn’t that obvious?” An exasperated sigh left Yata while closing his eyes for a moment, as he tried figuring out what he was gonna say. This was harder than expected, and him not being good with words didn’t make matters easier.
“Despite everything you’ve done, I just– can’t let go of you completely. Yeah, you did all this dumb shit I don’t even understand, and I got all reason to hate you, but I just fucking can’t.” Yata’s hands balled into fists, but the annoyance he felt was only directed at himself.
“You were my best friend, for years! I can’t just forget all the good times we’ve had together, and I can tell there’s still some of that old Saruhiko in you! You were important to me, and damn– for some dumb reason you still are!” Actually, Yata felt better having gotten that off his chest, even if he was sure Saruhiko would just make fun of him for still hanging onto a traitor.

Special Event Surprise for Rachel
Thanks so much for the continued support and the request! I hope you’ll enjoy your ‘surprise’ and that it’ll be worth the wait!
You attend middle school at Namimori Middle. You go to classes, attend art club, even manage to do pretty well in sports and you’re part of the girl’s softball team. You’re pretty popular among your classmates and have quite a few friends and acquaintances. Your life is pretty much that of a normal high school student.
Oh, except for one slightly not normal thing. You are the bastard child of the head of a large Yakuza family. Your father is getting rather old, was old when he fathered you and though he’s slightly neglectful towards you at times, it’s never malicious and he’s very kind towards you otherwise. You have an adult brother, set to inherit his father’s position as head of the family when your father passes away. Unlike your father, who stays out of the drug game and is generally pretty benevolent towards the community in general and kind to his men, your brother is hateful towards you, violent in nature and temperament, and treats the other family members as beneath him, using them as only a means to an end - money and lots of it, all for him. You dread the day your father can no longer lead the family and your brother takes over. It stresses you out to think about and you try to forget about it as much as possible.
But some things you can’t forget - your father becomes seriously ill and leadership of the Family falls to your brother. He’s not only rude and nasty towards you, threatening to kick you out of the family complex for not really being part of his family, but the things the family does and the way it’s run quickly become increasingly violent and bloody. You can’t stand to see your Family that way and, despite never having been tempted to lead the family before, you challenge your brother for position of Family head. Once it’s out of your mouth though, you’re too stubborn to take it back.
Your brother is stopped from beating you senseless by Family members who are still very loyal to your father. He is forced into accepting your challenge by these same Family members but does succeed in forcing you from the family complex.
You have a month before you face your brother and your attendance becomes spotty at school and less and less of your friend’s allow you to sleep over. You spend almost all your time training, running and trying to reteach yourself to fight - your father had made sure you learned when you were younger, but it wasn’t something you’d had a distinct passion for.
You found an out of the way dojo that you didn’t expect anyone to mind you using. After the first couple days of surveying it and noticing it always empty, you made it into  combination of training space and crash pad for yourself. It’s inside the dojo that you find, literally tripping over it, an old bo staff. You goof around with it, finding surprisingly that it comes incredibly naturally to you.
After the first week of staying in the dojo secretly, Yamamoto, who you were pretty good friends with in school, stumbles across you. It turns out that it’s his family’s dojo you’re using. He shrugs away your apologies and insists that you come home with him for lunch, invites you to train with him after lunch. Yamamoto’s a fool but he has eyes - he sees the bruises and hears the growling of your stomach. Though he never pushes over the next couple of days, he somehow manages to get you to tell him what’s going on.
You’re cheered and relieved to have told someone what was happening and when Yamamoto insists on helping you train, you are grateful. You become more incredulous and confused than grateful though when Yamamoto turns up the next day with Tsuna, Gokudera’s weird sister, and some weird looking baby. You learn that day about Tsuna and his eventual spot of leader of his own Family. He offers you help that you only gently refuse - you appreciate it but can fight your own fights. Besides, you’re not entirely convinced that you’re going to succeed and in your heart of hearts, you’re already terrified of letting Yamamoto down after he’s been so kind and you don’t want to let any others down as well. It’s only after Bianchi, Gokudera’s sister, and Reborn discuss, as though you weren’t there, how you weren’t going to be able to win anyway and helping you wasn’t going to do any good that you ended up accepting out of pure spite and anger, exactly what Reborn was after.
The training is the hardest thing you ever do in your life but you manage to survive it and the fateful day comes. It’s incredibly close and your brother is brutal, out for your blood, but you do defeat him in the end, becoming the successor and next head of the Family.
You still attend school normally throughout middle and high school. You have plenty of time to lead the Family later, once your Father passes on (as he does in your first year of university). You become closer to Tsuna, Yamamoto, and their group of friends as you progress through school, dating Yamamoto for a period of time. When you do succeed your father as a wise, just leader, your family and the Vongola are allies.
You eventually go on to marry the young son of your father’s previous right hand man (I see him as looking like Yata from K), who had been one of the ones to fight and force your brother to accept your challenge that fateful day. He was a childhood friend of yours, though a couple years older than you and always very loyal and kind to you. That friendship and bond became romantic in your twenties and you were married a few years later. Your children grow up to lead the Family together, both as benevolent leaders, and your son actually marries Takeshi Yamamoto’s daughter when they both grow up, something you and your (old by this point) friend laughed about when you first found out.

RP Log || The Other Side of the Mirror
Continues from Chapter 25.
Chapter 26
Tumblr media
“Beg-? Dream on.”
That lighthearted reaction caught the teen just as unprepared as the blue clansman Saruhiko had been. His eyes instinctively closed at the tapping contact on his head, but blinked at the absence of the pain he had expected. It even sounded like the other was in the mood for a joke, even. And was that a grin, even after he had humiliated him with that petty trick? One of the boy’s dark brows arched slightly in opposition to the other one frowning downwards, betraying awkward confusion. His eyes couldn’t stand contact with Fushimi’s for long either.
Adjusting his glasses in position to conceal his own embarrassment, he drew a sigh and looked around. He decided to fetch the discarded hoodie still wet in the front and resort to tying it around his waist, without forgetting the scarf which he loosely rested around his shoulders.
By the time they had left the bar, the van was long gone, and the clock on his screen said it was past 4 in the afternoon, two hour later than his given ‘curfew’ for the day.
The teen huffed in reaction to the cold outside and took a look around as they walked. His eyes went back to the bar that grew smaller behind them.
“… What’s going to happen to him now?” He couldn’t help but wonder.
~~
Tumblr media
The teen’s reaction sure was mildly amusing to Fushimi. However, his simple glee didn’t last long. As soon as he’d noticed the teen’s expression drop dull once again, the ravenette couldn’t help but frown in neutrality to the his persistence.
By the time young Saruhiko was ready to leave, he ensured that the back door was closed properly behind them. The chill breeze couldn’t have much of an effect on the male; adding on to the multiple layers he wore, the coat was long and thick enough for warmth.
His azure pried onto the shorter male next to him to ensure the other wasn’t gritting his teeth, knowing that a fairly thick layer was removed and wrapped around his waist instead, a style that reminded him of his old days beside Misaki who had for a while affected his fashion choices. Mostly because Saruhiko had never been the type to want to tag along for shopping sprees, and so often trusted the redhead with the task of getting him new clothes.
Speaking of, the teen had to ask at the very same time Yata came to mind, surprisingly making them silently sync, which caused Fushimi to side glance while taking the lead to one of the nearby markets, “he’ll be taken to the dungeon.”
He could feel that the weight of his own words couldn’t possibly be enough to reassure the teen. His azure stole a glance at the youngster through the corners of his eyes before letting out a soft sigh. He could see the cold fog of his own breath as he bathed in questions regarding his gradually softening heart to his younger self; was he really displaying pity?
With that, he reached with one hand to a dangling end of the scarf he’d set earlier on the teen, tugging it lightly to tighten the cloth around his neck for further warmth, as if ensuring he at least was cozy throughout this small detour, “they won’t hurt him, he’ll be fine.”
~~
Tumblr media
He let out a small huff, both at the answer and at the tug on his scarf. Out of embarrassment, Saruhiko used a hand to loosen up the wrap around his neck a bit, though not as loose as it was before. It actually felt a little better like this.
“… He’s probably confused, being alone in a Scepter 4 cell. You should let me see him and explain… He’s seen me, he needs to know what’s going on.”
That brought up to his attention a point he hadn’t considered. The moment he had made the phone call he had turned this incident into a case to be officially filed… if up to this point he had the impression that both his older self and the Blue King were trying to keep this under the radar, what would happen now?
“… Are you going to have to write a report about this?”
~~
Tumblr media
Fushimi had to question himself the same way, distracted from the fact his younger self was annoyingly too attached to the skater for his own good.
“I might have to, but I’ll move it directly up to the captain.” He huffed lightly once again, narrowing his azure eyes as soon as he stood front of the market, glancing back at the teen to resume, “there’s no point hiding anything from him, keep that in mind.”
His notice wasn’t only for the current time, but for literal future references for the teen to be cautious.
Of course, the comment he gave about accompanying Misaki remained ignored by the third in command. He’d rather keep it buried till he figures out what to do himself.
With that, he took the first leading step inside, reaching for the stock of shopping baskets and seizing one for their temporary use.
His gaze travelled back to the teen as a slight twist tugged on the corners of his lips, “soda first..?”
~~
Tumblr media
Saruhiko nodded quietly, glancing skeptically at the weapon obviously strapped at the other’s side. He always thought it was off that Scepter 4 could be allowed to have its members walk around freely with swords in plain view; but to see one in a grocery store was just ridiculous. And to have to be seen beside him was even worse. He took a mental note to come up with an excuse if someone approached to ask.
Maybe he’d just say the other was a cosplayer of some sort.
While his thoughts inevitably went to that creepy tall guy with glasses who called himself the Blue King, he caught a familiar shape out of the corner of the eye.
He stopped to look at the pyramid-shaped pile of cans of canned products they were about to pass. Automatically, his hand went to pick up a can: canned pineapples. He hated the things. Misaki liked to put them in everything he could to get him to have some vitamins intake.
The first time it had been in the porridge he had made for Saruhiko when he had caught a cold. The teen remembered questioning that in their first email exchange with the app he had programmed for their exclusive use.
[There was something like pineapples in the porridge, what was up with that.]
[Not ‘something like’, it was canned pineapples. When you’re sick at my place we specially make canned pineapples into the porridge. Also, when you have guests over you make pineapple into the curry, right?]
[No, usually not.]
[So what, pineapples are not high-class enough for you? How about melons? If it’s melons you won’t complain? Okay, when you come over the next time we’ll make melon in the curry for you.]
[I can assure you, the things that are normal at your place will never become normal at mine.]
He bit the inside of one cheek with a distant look. Maybe Misaki wasn’t sick right now, but he couldn’t possibly be feeling well, especially waking up in jail.
Without a word, he caught up to where the other stood and let the can fall into the basket, shoving hands deep inside his jeans right after as though to give him an excuse why he couldn’t put it back.
~~
Tumblr media
The third in command continued to walk at an approachable pace through the aisle. He could feel the presence of the teen vanish at some point, which drew him to take a glance over his shoulder briefly.
Making sure the other was around, he continued pacing until he felt the basket gain a slim weight, which caught his attention to check the product; canned pineapples.
For a moment, the ravenette rose one brow as he glanced at the teen questionably, he knew his tastebuds were nowhere near liking it, so the matter had something to do with Misaki.
Deciding to let it slide with a huff, Fushimi glanced back ahead, blinking momentarily in lack of amusement to people who stared at him or attempted to exit the aisle; an officer in his attire wasn’t a daily view in a local market.
Shrugging the disturbing attention off, the male reached for a bag of rice and dropped it into the basket. The boy gave him an actual reason to take consideration into making something healthy; that, and he was attempting to guess the purpose of the pineapples, if he was right, then the teen certainly needs the rice.
“Is there anything specific you want?” He knew he wasn’t one to lay out request, not that he was ever in the mood for something specific other than his usual, the teen was most likely the same case.
Whilst waiting for an answer, he glanced around for any hints that could lead him to the 'cool aisle’, which consists of all sorts of refrigerators and frozen food.
~~
Tumblr media
“… I don’t know how to make it.” He muttered. He thought that Scepter 4 looked like a big enough place to have a cafeteria. Maybe if he brought those to a cook he could have that porridge made for Misaki. No use trying to make it himself and make Misaki actually sick. Then he’d need to remake it because Misaki was sick. And what if then he got sicker and died? A purple veil of depression briefly shadowed his face at the thought, but he shook it off with his head.
Noticing the other was looking for something, he easily guessed it, since it was what he’d search for as well. The teen pointed his chin towards the left, at the far end of the supermarket. “It’s over there. Don’t you remember?”
They had been here before to buy emergency supplies for the bar. Totsuka-san liked to finish ingredients out of the blue with his experiments and leave the fridge empty right as opening hours came, much to Kusanagi’s dismay and to his own, who often got assigned to grocery tasks because he was one of the few who could do it without wasting money on things that weren’t on the list.
~~
Tumblr media
The note he recieved about his inability to cook it was enough to confirm his guess as a fact; the porridge Yata made him years ago in that vile house.
“Perhaps..” He mumbled lowly to himself, he could possibly ask Kamo or Benzai to cook. They were excellent chefs as far as he knew, based on their official profile reports.
His attention was robbed by the teen’s directions, 'don’t you remember?’
That’s right, he led them himself to this market specifically, how come he couldn’t figure out the direction his favorite section? More like, how come he couldn’t remember?
“It’s been a while..” He grunted lowly to the other, slight fluster through disturbance hinted through as he finally decided to take said route.
It’s as if he’d laid his eyes on this section for the first time. Fushimi began examining the fridges, fetching himself a bag of frozen fries, another of frozen mini sausages.
Leaving the lid of the fridge open for the boy to pick out whatever caught his eyes, Fushimi proceeded to approach the drinks, dropping a variety of cans and bottles, almost filling the entire basket and leaving no room for the upcoming bags of chips.
“I can’t cook it either, I haven’t progressed much in that aspect.” He couldn’t deny the very thin line of difference in that field between the two, indicating a lack of advancement, “I’ll have Kamo make it instead.”
~~
Tumblr media
The boy just closed the fridge. He was still rather shaken by the experience in the bar and with his inner turmoil, his lack of appetite made for an uninspired mind for groceries. If anything, he was thirsty.
His brows furrowed at the mention of a new name.
“… Who is Kamo?” He asked, not without a hint of suspicion.
Don’t tell me I’m going to make new friends…
As sad as that thought was, he was genuinely disgusted at the notion of letting new strangers get close to him.
“… Is that the one who sent you that bento box with the bear?” The emphasis on the last word made his concern obvious. His thoughts were as readable as though a balloon had popped on his head showing the images inside.
Was this Kamo some creep with a crush on him? Following him around and calling him cutesy names like Fushi-senpai?
Without knowing he was practically squinting at the other now, in judgmental disgust.
“Does this Kamo cook for you a lot?”
~~
Tumblr media
The multiple questions thrown at him in row had Fushimi halt, turn on his heels to face the other sideways with confusion plastered all over his face; head slightly tilted, eyebrows furrowed up and lips slightly parted in loss of words.
The intent to mess with the teen was hardly sealed. He walked over to him and leaned down to meet his face with his own, gluing his azure to the identical pair parallel to his own.
“Are you my boyfriend or something?” A slight grin stretched across his lips, yet he knew better than to mess and tease his younger self about that.
With that, he stood back up straight and turned around to resume his way, picking a few bags of different flavors and brands from the shelves.
~~
Tumblr media
Too close. Way too close! The teen sensed an icy shiver climb up his back when his bubble of privacy was burst so aggressively by the intrusion of a presence so overwhelming.
When he found himself staring into eyes identical to his own, Saruhiko’s leaned back in disturbance and fluster, pupils bouncing from this to that detail of the other’s face, studying it like it was just too hard to take in all at once.
It wasn’t the disturbing resemblance to the dark shadow of his childhood nightmares that was stirring a reaction this time, he knew. And yet the sensation was like a parallel to it. Dread, but of a different form somehow. Like this guy had complete access to his vulnerabilities and his digits were just ghosting over the worst keys edging for the perfect stroke.
And those words turned the cold into fire with the same ease of flipping a switch. The boy clicked his tongue, annoyed at the heat he felt on his face. “I don’t care about that crap and you know it…! I’m just trying to gauge how bad you’re screwing up our life.”
At least, that had been his stance on the matter up to his own point. But now the bug was in his ear. Buzzing. What if that had changed in the three years that separated them? What if he had found someone he liked?
Ugh. No. What was this sensation? He was honest enough to admit it felt like jealousy. But he didn’t understand if it was aimed at whoever could have been with him, or at his older self. Surely it was an odd possessiveness derived by the fact that it was his own body and soul they were talking about, and he didn’t want to see it touched by anyone. But still… they were separated beings. So what gives? What did it mean– oh no, he was getting dizzy now.
He walked up to a fridge and opened it to practically dive his face into it, pretending to be looking for something in the far back of the shelf.
To his dismay, he had to wait for his head to cool off while staring nauseated at bags and bags of frozen vegetable soups. “…”
~~
Tumblr media
“He’s a subordinate. He and a few others have cooking as either a hobby or a talent.”
He knew the other was going to question about choosing this member specifically, thus he decided to immediately dismiss it, “his dorm is nearby, if you don’t trust him, I can ask Benzai.” He halted to steal a glance at the teen with a faint huff, “the one you stabbed before?”
He could swear he heard the other mumble, but he wasn’t all too desperate to listen. His eyes were fishing for certain bags through the shelves, that took priority for the moment until he finally caught his target.
Without paying much attention to the other, Fushimi stepped over to the nearby shelf and grabbed onto a bag of chips, raising a brow in interest to the new brand whilst humming softly, “this seems intriguing, doesn’t it?”, he spoke lowly and spontaneously, until he noticed the lack of response.
With an arched brow, the azure orbs scanned his surroundings before settling onto the teen with his head in the freezer, along with giggling passerbyers at the youngster’s clumsy position; this felt more like self humiliation.. Enough to bring a scowl to Fushimi’s face.
However, that dropped evenly soon. Setting the bag into the shopping basket, the blue clansman walked back to his younger self and leaned down to the level of his head with a rather dull and apathetic expression, in attempt to stare into the fridge as well, unaware of his own nasal breath tickling too close to any open room of skin around the youngster’s neck. “What are you looking at?”
~~
Tumblr media
Eugh. At least the disgust accelerated the process of derailing his train of thoughts.
Though at least the awful sight was soon obstructed by the cold air which condensed on his glasses, effectively blocking the view.
It was in that moment of blindness that the teen perceived warmer air on his neck, making him shiver in conflict to the cold of the fridge. When his mind quickly called attention to the fact that such a draft could only come from someone living and breathing down on him, the teen startled and emerged suddenly from the fridge.
Tumblr media
“What the-!?” His quick retreat was poorly planned and instinctive, resulting in uncharacteristic clumsiness which had him catch the black boot behind him with the back of his ankles and dangerously fall backwards towards the floor. “Hah-!?”
~~
Tumblr media
Blinking to the sudden motion, Fushimi’s eyes widened slightly to the sudden rush before him, causing a reflex of his own movements in rescue attempt; with one hand, he latched quickly at the teen’s wrist, and with the other he wrapped his arm around the other’s back to act as a cushion, all whilst attempting to pull him up into a straight position.
“Just what the hell are you doing?”, his brows curved into that of unpleasant mild fury coaxed with light confusion; first he poked his head into a fridge for long, now he’s tripping and losing balance, all while driving them both into such an embarrassing position, which he should gladly break free of.
Pulling the teen by the arm and pushing him up onto his feet by the back, Fushimi grunted and released his grip almost immediately, “stop being such an embarrassment. If there’s something you need, say so.”
~~
Tumblr media
“I’m fine…! Tch..” To be called an embarrassment was a painful jab he didn’t need in his pride. He was already well aware of the situation and was doing a good job at guilt tripping himself about it as is.
Scoffing, he removed his glasses to wipe the lenses with the scarf around his neck. “Rather, what’s with you having subordinates now…”
Positions of power, he had never imagined himself wanting that. He’d prefer work alone rather than tell others what to do. Misaki was one thing, but…
“And did you call that guy 'Captain’? You’re just fine with that?”
He thought himself to despise people who acted superior. Mikoto-san had a lot of flaws as a human being but at least he wouldn’t demand his clansmen to address him with some fanciful words. That he’d go to someone like this Blue King felt like a step backwards.
~~
Tumblr media
“Just what are you talking about?” Fushimi hoped the teen wasn’t beginning to compare kings without prior knowledge. A click of his tongue was the giveaway of the growing unease to the topic.
“There’s a difference between a bar and a law system, Saru.” Another stolen glance. He attempted to read the other’s expression, but appeared as if the teen was in the mid of recovering from his earlier embarrassment.
Without paying it much attention, the ravenette found himself scanning the shelves before him for a stock of juice, 0% fruit, all whilst mumbling lowly enough to be audible to the youngster and himself, “The Blue King always had that title even before this one. Though, by the papers, he’s technically more like a director… Regardless, you’re dealing with someone else that isn’t Mikoto-san.”
Building his way out of the topic, Fushimi reached across the opposing shelf for his favorite instant noodles, or to be more accurate, both their favorite. He lowered it slightly down to force it within the other’s range of sight, followed by his own relaxed gaze decorated with a teasing grin; it wasn’t common for them find remaining stocks of their favorite meals.
~~
Tumblr media
No kidding.. I know that perfectly.
It hadn’t taken him one minute in the presence of the Blue King to understand that he wasn’t like Mikoto-san at all. And that was maybe what didn’t sit well with him the most.
Not that he liked Mikoto-san as a King, but rather… He didn’t like changes. He was a creature of habit, with many things. His diet was a sound example of it.
And on that topic, the boy had just put his glasses back on when the box of noodles practically spawned on his face. With a slight jolt, he took it to read the brand, one brow cocked up in surprise.
“…. They still make these?” Usually the stuff he liked best would disappear from the shelves in a matter of months because of low demand. He had grown to consider it a personal curse.
Maybe not everything had changed for the worst yet. Looking up at the small grin on his own, older expression, that thought had him feel a small glimmer of hope.

WONDERFUL SCHOOL DAYS: MY PRECIOUS RED
FINAL CHAPTER: FIRST LOVE
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: skyflyinginaction
* Gakuen K (List of Chapters) * Projects & Chapters
In February, the end of the year test was successfully completed and Valentine's Day arrived.
Even though class was over, Yata was vaguely looking out the window without preparing for his return. He put a toothpick on his desk and didn't move.
Perhaps because he no longer had to worry about testing, Yata's goal of avoiding the red spots was getting weaker by the day.
She knew the cause. In just two weeks, Suoh and Totsuka will graduate.
Suoh was still immersed in HOMRA, so she saw him almost every day, but she thought it was possible that she couldn't meet for a while because he would be a graduate.
She could see how important they were to Yata.
It was already dark outside. The snow was flashing and she thought it best to go home early.
"Konohana. I'll buy some drink."
Kamamoto heard him.
Looking up, Kamamoto pointed at her bag mischievously, "Is it there?"
"Eh? Ah...!"
She tilted her head for a moment, but soon realized the meaning and her face turned red.
That was correct. Was he attentive?
Kamamoto was really too observant at times.
"Thank you. Ah… Can I order some hot milk tea?"
"Yes."
"Oh, and that..."
She was embarrassed and coughed softly.
"Well, is that..."
Before answering, his big hand hit her back with a pop.
"Ok, good luck."
"Oh, thanks..."
She graciously greeted Kamamoto, who came out of the classroom, and took a small box out of the bag and went to Yata.
She sat silently on the seat across from Yata, who looked vaguely.
"Uh, Yata-kun?"
No matter how many times Kamamoto had called him, his vaguely turned eyes were immediately reflected.
She was a bit proud, but embarrassed, when she thought that that was the difference between her and Kamamoto.
Oh, but after all, the expression was darker than usual. Even if it was Valentine's Day.
When she took a breath, she put a lot of effort into her stomach and moved the box in front of Yata with her fingers.
"Ah!"
"I know how you feel, that's why I can't help but feel depressed. Yata-kun, you're the new headmaster, so you have to be firm. You can't tell everyone, right?"
"Yes, it's correct..."
"They can meet at HOMRA. Well, I don't think they can do it every day like they used to. But if you feel like it, you can always meet."
"That's it..."
"If you don't go to the same school, if you don't meet every day, it's not something so fragile that it breaks, right? The Red club is strong."
"That's correct, but…"
He was coughing as if Yata was under pressure from something unprecedented.
(Yes. I get it.), she thought.
She knew what Yata was like. Still, he felt lonely. However, that was it. It didn't matter what the reason was.
She understood. She would also feel lonely not hearing Totsuka's soft laugh for a while.
(But you know? Yata-kun. It's about the Red club, the air like a wake doesn't suit you.), she thought.
He didn't want Suoh and Totsuka to leave, he didn't want to celebrate their graduation.
Yata should be in the center.
"It's hard for me to have such a dark face, because today is Valentine's..."
Yata turned her back and widened her eyes.
"Eh?"
"Wow, did you forget?!"
(Ah, I was the only one who was excited about it since morning!), she thought.
"Honestly, I'll give you my favorite chocolate, huh, it's my first time..."
"……!"
"No, Yata-kun, I'm not very good at sweets, but I did my best. I asked Kukuri-chan to try it many times, so she got a little fat and got angry. But Neko-chan just says that almost everything is "delicious"."
"Eh…?"
"Well, that... then do you accept it?"
She looks at Yata with a shy look and hand him the package.
"Wow, cheer up, okay? Eat it."
When she handed him the red wrap package, Yata reddened his face.
"Because Yata-kun will definitely be a good manager. That's why Suoh-senpai entrusted the Red club to Yata-kun. That thought, you can't betray him, right?"
"Mikoto-san thinks that?"
"Eh?"
"Do you think I can be like Mikoto-san?"
Yata looked at her directly.
His eyes looked so serious that they weren't suitable for receiving Valentine's chocolate from her lover, and it was impressive.
So, she understood that it wasn't just because Suoh and Totsuka were graduating that he wasn't feeling well these days.
(I see. Yata-kun felt very pressured.), she thought.
She agreed. Suoh is a great person. She could understand it, but she sorry that Yata was under pressure to become like Suoh, she had never thought of it that way.
She finally smiled and looked directly at Yata.
"You can be. I guarantee it. But you are not "like Suoh-senpai" but "different from Suoh-senpai", right?"
"Hey?"
"Yata-kun, you are not under Suoh-senpai's shadow. You are not inferior. You are just different. There is something that Suoh-senpai doesn't have."
"......!"
"Yata-kun certainly doesn't have the charisma that Suoh-senpai has. There are many other things that Suoh-senpai has and Yata-kun doesn't have. But at the same time, Suoh-senpai doesn't have many things that Yata-kun has."
That's why she thought he would be fine.
"Now I can laugh because Yata-kun was there. It wasn't because of Suoh-senpai."
".....!"
That was what Suoh couldn't do.
It was always Yata who took her hand and protected her.
Thanks to Yata's support, she was able to fully enjoy her normal school life.
"I think you can become a better manager because you are different from Suoh-senpai. I mean, let's do that! Suoh-senpai entrusted you with the Red club. You have to keep your head up."
"If that is..."
"That's right. Let's do our best. We have friends..."
She was so embarrassed to say that, and when she said "friends", Yata stared at her.
And when he smiled his usual awkward smile, she was embarrassed and sheepishly said, "That's right."
"You are here."
"Ah…!"
Well, her face immediately turned red.
Oh, after all, she liked that side of Yata. Even though she said "we have friends", he said "you are here".
That action was irresistible.
(Oh, yeah! I love it!), she thought.
When she got up, she touched his desk and leaned forward. Then she kissed him on the cheek.
"Ah…?"
Immediately, Yata turned over his body as if it had been doused with boiling water.
He let the chair rattle and jumped out of the way, looking at her with an embarrassed expression, he froze.
She opened her mouth for ten seconds, twenty seconds.
Only after more than a minute did she understand what had happened. Yata suddenly turned into an eggplant.
Perhaps the big blush was embarrassing. The next moment, Yata grabbed his hat with both hands in terrible panic and slammed it down, hiding his eyes from her and more than half of his face.
(Oh, of course, it's still a bright red face, isn't it?), she thought.
Even though she was sassy and had a bright red face, she still felt embarrassed.
Well, she had been thinking about it for a long time, giving Yata a kiss.
"Yata-kun, you are cute."
"Shut up! Don't look!"

[Gakuen K] Yata Misaki Route Translation
The mood-maker of the class
Tumblr media
LIST OF CHAPTERS
[Translation under the cut]
Tumblr media
Yata: It's lunch time! Ouch!
Anna: Misaki. Class is not over yet.
Yata: Gah ...I heard the bell ring, I thought it was over.
Anna: Class doesn’t end until I says it’s over. Take your seat.
Fushimi: Tsk. Sit your ass down.
Yata: What the heck, Saru?!
Anna: Misaki.
Yata: ...I got it.
Anna: Class, that's all for today's lesson. Don’t forget your homework, preparation and review.
Yata: Ha, this time it’s over!
Anna: Misaki.
Yata: What's now... Class has already ended, right?
Anna: Double the homework.
Yata: Ha? Why?
Anna: Guilty of class disruption.
Yata: What the hell is that crime! I've never heard of it!
Anna: I am the rule in my class. Besides...you have bad grades, Misaki. This is the punishment for you.
Fushimi: ...Heh.
Yata: Saru! You bastard!
Anna: Saruhiko too, double.
Fushimi: Ha?
Anna: It’s not good to sell out your friends.
Fushimi: Tsk...He's not a friend to me or anything.
Yata: He's not a friend to me either!
Anna: No objections. Don't forget your homework.
Yata: Oh! Wait...Doing double homework is too hard. Could it be at least 1.2 times ...no, 0.9 times.
Yata: It's all his falt...Hey, Saru, you bastard.
Yata: He is not here! Where are you, Monkey?!
Kamamoto: He's already left the classroom.
Yata: That guy! Hey, we're going too!
Kamamoto: Are you going to chase him?
Yata: Damn it! The school store, the school store! They're gonna run out of the daily (everyday) bread!
Kamamoto: Whoa. That's not good. Lets hurry up!
Saya: Yata-kun is so energetic.
Kukuri: He really is. For better or worse, he is the mood-maker of the class.
Saya: For better or worse?
Kukuri: Yeah. You see, Yata-kun and Fushimi-kun don't get along well, they often end up fighting.
Kukuri: I don't know if they really have a bad relationship. As being said: the more you fight, the more you get along.
Kukuri: Well, maybe we should have lunch too? I got hungry because I was too focused on the class~
Saya: Me too. Since the weather is nice today, why don't we go up on the roof?
Kukuri: That sounds good! I agree!
Tumblr media
Saya: The wind feels good.
Kukuri: Yeah, it feels good...Oh, there's someone there.
Kamamoto: I'm glad we manage to buy the daily bread!
Yata: It always turns out that way when you rely on me. Give me a bite of that melon bun. I'll give you a bite of my teriyaki chicken bun, too.
Kamamoto: Okay, but...this melon bun is so small. Just one bite, ok? That's fine with you, right?
Yata: I know.
Kamamoto: That's huge! Just as I expected! Yata-san, your bite is as big as a hippo’s!
Yata: Huh? Who's the idiot, who! I'll eat it all! (A wordplay here: hippo is "kaba" on japanese and sounds similar to "baka" which means "idiot")
Kamamoto: Oh, please don't do that! Ah...my melon bun...
Kukuri: Ha-ha. Looks like Yata-kun really going to eat it all.
Kukuri: Yata-kun's bite is too big! Even though it's a usual thing, I feel a little sorry for Kamamoto-kun.
Kukuri: You know, those two...Are they like that in the Red club?
Saya: Hmm, I'm sure you're right. I've been in the Red club for one day so I don't know.
Kukuri: Oh, yes, that's right. Sorry, sorry.
Kukuri: It's fine if you just watch from afar like this, but...Yata-kun is extremely uncomfortable with girls.
Kukuri: We were in the same class last year. It was really hard, you know?
Kukuri: For example, when we were deciding on our roles in events. Communication was also a challenge.
Saya: Oh, I see. I wonder, why he's so bad at this.
Kukuri: I don't know. "Only Yata knows"...

I HAVE WRITTEN A FIC
after months i finally had the motivation and energy to write a new fic!! check it out on ao3 here or click to read under the cut!!!
When Yata’s ears and cheeks turn as red as his hair, it can mean one of two things: either he’s really pissed, or really embarrassed. Today, it was the first.
“Yata-chan, try to calm down,” Kusanagi pleads, slowly growing frustrated at the continuous string of curses that had been filling his ears for the past hour.
“It’s unfair, Kusanagi-san!” Yata shouts for what seems to be the one hundredth time that afternoon. “There’s no way in hell I’m going to do anything with that damn monkey!” He hammers his fist down on the table, startling one of his fellow clan members.
Kusanagi feels stripped of his soul with each dent Yata makes in his precious bar.
"I'M NOT HELPING WITH THAT PARTY!" Yata yells even louder, when nobody says anything, only increasing his rapidly growing frustration.
“You have to. You two are the only ones who aren’t busy this weekend." Kusanagi sighs with a surprisingly calm tone, setting down the wine glass he had just finished cleaning delicately. "Christmas is in two days, can’t you lighten up?”
Before Yata can shout again, he’s held back as a small hand grabs the sleeve of the hoodie tied around his waist. He looks down and sees HOMRA’s youngest member, Anna, looking at him with her eyes shining under the dim light hanging above them. "Please, Misaki," she says softly, tightening her grip. "It won't be as bad as you think it'll be."
"But...A-Anna..." Misaki begins, before biting his lip; he knows he can't argue with her. Taking a deep breath, he looks away, staring at a streak on the floor created by his board a few days ago.
"It's our first Christmas with SCEPTER 4. Let's try to enjoy it, yeah?" Chitose brings up, holding his hands out in front of his face in case Yata decides to punch him.
But he doesn't. Instead, he shifts his gaze to Chitose for a split second before turning around, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't get why we have to celebrate with them just because..." he trails off, not knowing how to finish that statement.
"You can do it, Yata-san," Kamamoto says, trying to lift his spirits and prevent the destruction of any more furniture. "Who cares if you're working with Fushimi? Whatever you do is amazing, so make this party awesome for all of us, okay? And don't let him get all the credit for it!"
Yata's ears perk up slightly at that, slowly draining of the red color and returning to the normal soft peach. "Huh...you're right," he says. His gloomy eyes suddenly light up, and a determined smile replaces the frown on his face. "This party will be so great that everyone will remember it forever!"
"Nice one, Rikio-chan," Kusanagi whispers to him with a wink. Kamamoto chuckles modestly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"HELL YEAH! I'LL GO GET STARTED RIGHT AWAY, EVEN IF THAT LAZY MONKEY DOESN'T SHOW UP!" Yata yells with a burst of energy. He grabs his skateboard and tosses it to the floor, placing his foot on it and pushing forward. "I'll see you all later! Get prepared for the best party of your lives!"
"Well that changed his mood fast," Chitose says, blinking, once Yata's out the door.
"Thankfully, and now everything is going according to plan," Kusanagi adds with a mischievous smile. Anna reflects his expression, nodding.
"Is there something we should know about?" Kamamoto asks, confused.
"Oh, don't worry about it. You'll know soon enough," is all Kusanagi says in response to that.
Kamamoto and Chitose share a glance before turning to stare at the door through which Yata left, wondering if all of this was more than just what meets the eye.
"Tch. You're late, Misaki."
That's the first thing Yata hears when he shows up to the party hall carrying piles upon piles of decorations. He almost falls off his skateboard as he spots a familiar looking figure standing before him, leaning against the back wall with his hands shoved into his pockets.
"Saru, what the hell are you doing here?" Yata exclaims, steadying himself after setting down the boxes he was carrying.
"Are you that stupid, or did you really forget that we were assigned to decorate the party for tomorrow together?" He clicks his tongue, an annoyed expression taking form on his face.
Yata's face scrunches up, like he'd just walked into a garbage dump. "Fuck you! We weren't even supposed to meet until later this evening!"
"Then why are you here?" Saruhiko asks with almost no emotion to his voice.
"I...I wanted to start early," Yata states as he kneels down to open the first box, turning his head to hide the embarrassed blush burning at the tips of his ears. He shakes out a string of lights, holding the tangled mess out in front of him. In his peripheral vision, he catches Saruhiko shifting his position, so he adds, "Also, I don't need your damn help. I can do this by myself."
Saruhiko pauses for a moment and then simply clicks his tongue, closing his eyes. "Do whatever you want, Misaki. I'll just wait until you mess up and then fix everything afterwards."
Yata resists the urge to fire something back at him. Instead, he uses his anger to pull apart the lights in a feeble attempt to untangle them. He mutters incoherent things under his breath, not handling the wires with the care he should be handling them with.
Saruhiko opens one eye when he hears a mix of grunts and bulbs clacking. "Don't be so rough, Misaki. You'll break them."
"I don't need your damn criticism," Yata says through gritted teeth, not bothering to stop pulling apart the lights as a lion would rip apart a deer. "And quit calling me by that name!"
"Why? I think it suits you rather well, Mi~sa~ki," Saruhiko says with a grin, steadying his gaze on Misaki's small, chiseled face.
At that, he's had enough. His patience never really lasted long anyway.
Yata stands up abruptly and takes a step forward to punch him, but ends up tripping over the string of lights, falling face first onto the floor. Clenching his fists, he attempts to stand up again but can only sit up awkwardly as he realizes he's tangled within all the cords.
Saruhiko laughs, his grin only growing wider. "I didn't realize you were so clumsy. Looks like you'll always be an idiot."
"Shut the hell up you bastard!" Yata yells, struggling to get out of the mess of knots. His brows are sharply furrowed, his teeth pressed so tightly together that they just might shatter. "This is all your fault!"
"My fault?" Saruhiko scoffs. "I didn't even touch you."
"Just fucking help me," Yata grumbles, feeling as if the world is closing in on him and eradicating his existence.
"I thought you said you didn't need my help," Saruhiko reminds him, his expression shifting to more of a serious one.
Yata looks down at the floor, because at this point, anything is better than looking at the solemn face of a traitor, a man who was once his best friend in the whole world. Normally he'd be so outspoken, shouting at anyone who dares to try and destroy his precious pride, but lately he's been finding it harder and harder to say things that came directly to his mind. Especially when it came to Saruhiko.
He expels a puff of air, hanging his head low. He thinks of Anna, who held him with a gentle yet desperate grip, telling him that this wouldn't be as bad as he thought it would be. He wanted to believe her, but so far, even after just a few minutes since arriving here, he'd only been feeling like complete shit.
Yata predicts he'll be stuck forever in this room that's suddenly become too hot, when a pair of nimble, pale hands reach towards his direction, startling him. He raises his head slowly, surprised to see Saruhiko with an annoyed expression reforming on his face, helping him out of the tangled mess of lights.
"Saruhiko...?" Yata starts.
"Don't look so depressed, stupid Misaki. It doesn't look good on you," Saruhiko says, swiftly yet carefully working his way through the knots. "What's wrong with you anyway? You seem different."
Yata looks visibly offended. "Nothing's wrong except for the fact that I'm stuck here, being forced to work together with you," he mutters. "And how would you know what I've been like, huh? It's not like you spent time with me these past few ye–"
"As much as it annoys me," Saruhiko cuts in, not wanting the conversation to head in that direction, "hearing you shout is better than this. What the hell is actually bothering you?"
The fire in Yata's irises blazes when it meets the blue in Saruhiko's eyes. "What makes you think there's more, huh? Just because you're smart and all doesn't mean you know everything!" Yata spits out in a burst of frustration. "Why the hell do you even care? It's not like you ever cared about my feelings anyway! Isn't that why you left, damn traitor?! You didn't even think about how I would feel once you were gone!"
Saruhiko's expression twists into a deeper frown, and he almost breaks the wire he's holding. In any other situation he would tease Yata, but something made his heart twist grossly, causing him to refrain from doing so. "And what about you, Misaki? Did you ever care about mine?"
A short moment of silence followed that question, and Yata stares at Saruhiko as if he couldn't recognize him. "The fuck are you talking ab–"
"Do you ever stop to think even once in your pathetic life?" Saruhiko interrupts, stopping his hands for a moment to look up into Yata's eyes.
Yata's eyes don't meet his. They're still searching his face, as if this is some complex math problem he can't seem to comprehend in the slightest.
"You're a terrible person, Misaki..." Saruhiko says softly, and Yata can now see the visible hurt in his eyes, something he didn't seem to recognize before but instantly knew that it had been there for a while.
A sudden pang attacks his heart, and the layer of pride and arrogance that Yata values so much dissipates for a moment. "Saruhiko, why didn't you tell me before?"
"That you're a horrible person? I'm sure I did tell you a couple of times," Saruhiko says with a scoff, but even Yata isn't fooled by the amusement he's trying to use to cover up the pain within.
"That's not what I mean! Why didn't you tell me how you were feeling?"
"Even if I did tell you, you'd never understand."
"Don't say that!" Yata shouts suddenly, disrupting the softness they had just a few minutes ago. "If it's you, Saruhiko, I'll do whatever it takes to understand. I want to know why you did what you did...there's no way someone I liked so much could end up being a horrible traitor!"
Saruhiko yanks apart a strand of lights that's holding Yata's arms together, setting them free. He then turns around, staring at the wall in front of him. "Shut up, Misaki."
"Saruhiko..." Yata says with desperation, pleading him with his eyes to turn around and face him.
But he doesn't. Instead, he responds with, "I can't even tell if you hate me or not. Your words confuse me."
Now it's Yata's turn to be silent. In short, he doesn't know the answer either. All he knows is that in this very moment, he can't stay mad at him. So, without giving it much thought, he closes his eyes and leans his head on Saruhiko's back, feeling as his muscles tense up upon the contact.
"Misaki, what are you–" Saruhiko begins, but Yata cuts him off.
"I shouldn't be the one saying this, or at least not the only one saying this, but I'm sorry."
He says it in such a soft manner that it takes a second for Saruhiko to register that it's his voice. He knows Yata means it, that he's genuinely sorry, but still, it only makes him angry.
"Don't play these stupid games with me, Misa–"
Before he can finish his statement, Yata's arms wrap around his torso, rendering him speechless.
"Wh-"
"Shut it, Saruhiko." Yata squeezes his eyes shut, plunging into the depths of his heart and soul. Yata's never been one to think too deeply about things. If there's anything he's realized over the years, it's that he can't stay mad at Saruhiko forever, no matter what he does. Even if it's as shitty as betraying the clan he values more than anything.
It's because of the fact that Yata Misaki simply can't focus on the bad things in life that makes this a little easier for him. He always searched for the light at the end of every dark tunnel he's ever been in, strongly believing that life was too short to think negatively about everything. Whether it's in a fight or a tough situation, Yata made sure to bask in that light instead of drowning himself in the shadows.
And now, he wanted to be the light for Saruhiko, because his best friend had been in the shadows for far too long.
Yata doesn't let go of Saruhiko, and wouldn't let go even if Saruhiko tried to pry his arms off. He holds him tighter, pulling him close until he can feel his own heartbeat resonating through his skin.
Saruhiko still can't find the words he wants–or thinks– to say. All he knows is that he doesn't want Yata to let go, ever, because he's been wanting this for so long that the fact that it was happening now made him delirious.
Shakily, he reaches down and places his hand on top of Yata's. His hands are so thin and pale compared to Yata's tanned, callous ones.
Yata's so close to him that he can feel his smile on his back, and all Saruhiko can do in that moment is smile too. A real, genuine smile, for the first time in years.
The next morning, a tired Kamamoto and Chitose enter the party hall only to find out that it hadn't been decorated in the slightest.
"Huh?!" Kamamoto screeches, staring at the bare walls. He and Chitose exchange a look, sharing the same confused expression.
Earlier, Kusanagi and Anna had called them in to check out the 'special surprise' in the party hall, but they were not expecting something like this.
"Shh! You'll wake them up!" Anna whispers, but it's loud enough so they all can hear.
"Wake who up?" Chitose asks, looking around.
She points towards the floor, and Chitose gasps.
There, in the middle of the linoleum floor, lie Saruhiko and Yata. They're huddled close together, their breathing soft and in sync. Yata's legs are wrapped in Christmas lights, his head is resting in the nook of Saruhiko's neck, and his fingers are firmly holding on to the fabric of Saruhiko's uniform. Saruhiko has his arms around Yata, holding him in a way a mother would hold her baby.
"Aren't they adorable?" Anna asks with a smile.
As Kamamoto and Chitose continue to stare at Yata and Saruhiko as if they were some rare species, Munakata Reisi walks in through the door with an elegant smirk on his face.
"Looks like our plan worked to perfection," he states proudly, pushing his glasses up with a grin.
Kusanagi mimics the gesture, a smile creeping across his face. "Oh, it sure did."
