CORRECT | REGILD CENTURY

Reconguista in G is the canon successor to Turn A Gundam

A Kapool effigy is there in Episode 2 with the Universal Century relics, thus as U.C came before C.C, and now we have proof Correct Century came before Regild Century as recorded history.

And “Ameria” is a canon nation in Turn A Gundam, Lily Borjarno became leader by the end of the series.

But the fact that Kapool is there, as a “relic” statue, seals it.

Both Turn A Gundam & Reconguista in g are what i call “Special Type” Gundam series, as in: UNDERRATED as shit.

I’m probably one of the few notable G fans that talk about it this much.

You’ll have people talk about ZZ or Victory before Turn or Recon.

And the reason for that, is the tone is definitely special/different/ unconventional, the 2 series’ are NOT mainstream.

Turn A Gundam is a slower paced Ghibli-esque character driven series, whereas Reconguista’s plot structure is a little sloppy, the in-world concepts can be hard to keep up with/ get invested in, (like “SU-Cord” concept for example) “the fuck even is that?” Is what you’d say to yourself.

“Taboo“ this, & “Taboo“ that, is something you’ll hear often.

As well as a bunch of characters, that sometimes just shows up:

A LOT of names, My Hero Academia’s problem, a lot of gd characters.

And both shows prioritize, as some Gundam shows tend to do:

Character driven themes than the flashy & supernatural.

No crazy expansive lore (U.C)

No Super Robot tier shit (A.D/00)

No English Dub for the casuals (plebs lol)

And no Newtype magic & superpowers (U.C) at least not blatantly so.

(Bellri is suspected to be Newtype & from what i’ve seen, especially after he kills a certain character, and how he reacts to it. He is definitely is 100% Newtype)

With all that said, they are underappreciated Gundam series, both; I binged both the past few weeks and they still hold up.

Turn A Gundam more so.

Makes me wonder where the Turns’ are during Recon, probably long buried, mummified; In eternal struggle with each other.

Title: Cuteness Member - Harvey Beaks

A remake from my 1 year ago artwork before they renamed and premiering on Nick a month ago (year 2015).

Anyways, just a little recap. The first Nickelodeon character has joined the "Cuteness Defender Academy" was none other than Harvey Beaks, and his "Cuteness Mecha Armor" of choice? The armored "G-self"! 😁🤖🐤

I have so many differentiate color strip uniforms for Harvey and this is my final color. Including his difference compared to my old ones. And yet I have 2 packs left for Harvey and I hope I could drew it someday.

So now let's focus on my remake. I've also saw some updates for his armaments, so I'll retype again for a full info. 🙂

YG-111 G-Self Harvey (Atmospheric and Space backpack)Came from the original: Gundam G-Self, Atmospheric Pack & Space Pack

• Gundam G-Self - [CLICK ME!] • G-Self Atmospheric Pack - [CLICK ME!] • G-Self Space Pack - [CLICK ME!]

Armament(s):

• Beam Saber G-Self has a pair of beam saber stored near its shoulders. It can spin them so fast for defensive purpose in fashion similar.

• Beam Rifle G-Self actually uses two models of beam rifle with two brands. The original one is the most powerful, and other model is easier to maintain.

• Shield G-Self uses three models. The 1st (blue) and 2nd (red) shield are multipurpose, the 3rd (glow blue) shield is from the Perfect backpack. The 2nd (red) model shield has built-in vulcan guns, sliding beam absorbing reflectors, and is capable of generating a photon shield to protect allies.

Special Equipments and Feature(s):

• Atmospheric Pack The atmospheric pack is the original pack built by Towasanga, G-Self's colors remain the same as the standard colors. On the main wings there are a pair of laser pod, double as radar sensor.

• BPAM-02 Space Pack Built by Amerian Army, the Space Pack are simple boosters to improve the G-Self's mobility in space.

I honestly haven’t watched enough Gundam anime to pick a grunt suit from the Gundam series. I don’t really like a lot of the Gundam anime tbh, I just like building them???

New Gundam Breaker for PS4 and PC Gets New Screenshots Revealing New Mobile Suits

Today Bandai Namco released a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming gunpla-inspired game New Gundam Breaker.

Specifically, we get the introduction of three new mobile suits. The first is the MS-08TX Efreet Custom from Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: The Blue Destiny. The second is the MSN-01 Psycommu Test High Mobility Type Zaku II from Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, and the third is the YG-111 Gundam G-Self Perfect Pack from Gundam Reconguista in G.

All of them have several parts, each of which can be equipped separately providing different EX Skills when used.

You can check them out below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the announcement of the PC version alongside a recent trailer and more screenshots, and another batch of images with the previous mobile suit reveal.

The game will launch in Japan on June 21st, with the western release coming immediately after on June 22nd, for PS4 and PC. The PS4 version can be pre-ordered on Amazon.

Bandai Namco has a pretty steady flow of Gundam Versus DLC on the way, and one of the recently revealed additions for August comes from the Gundam Reconguista in G anime. Pilot Bellri Zenam and the YG-111 Gundam G-Self Perfect Pack will be available in Japan on August 10 for ¥602, and you can see a preview below.
