this is oddly specific but do you have any bl recs for "right person wrong time" theme? like uwma

Okay! Let me try. Now, a common theme with these is not the happy ending, honestly, so I haven't watched that many of these? This does feel like one where @absolutebl will know a few I don't. But I know some.

First Love Again is probably the closest to the UWMA model since it is about a man who gets reincarnated and is constantly trying to find love with the woman he loved and who loved him but they could not be together and then she gets reincarnated as a he for their true love story.

My Gear and Your Gown has the slightest chance because it really is about how they meet in high school, almost manage it, fall apart and then come back together in university? Not great, ending falls apart, but I have a soft spot for this one. Not the same level of extreme.

Once Again is also a lot of this involving time travel, tragic pasts, death and I would not consider it to have a happy ending but it's not the worst ending it could have had either.

Triage isn't quite this but the time loop and repeating death almost does this? It's always the wrong time. Okay, it doesn't fit at all, but I wanna put it on the list because I do feel like it can fulfill some of the emotions you're looking for if you're looking for this.

Y-Destiny there's a sense of this in the last couple in Y-Destiny about getting over loss only also being followed by a ghost? Eh, only kind of. I'm reaching a bit with this one.

I'm also just going to put a blanket on almost all historical romances, especially the more realistic ones, for this trope. But I basically haven't watched any so that's a very.... blanket.

Anyway, sorry, did my best!

(You could also look at a few of the War of Y pairings for this but in a very different sense than UWMA so I'm not gonna include them directly.)
