When it come to Wayuu mochilas how can you tell it is an original? Well, it's an interesting question.

What makes a Wayuu mochila? The weaving? The colors? The pattern? The people who make it?

For me, it is mainly the people who make it. Of course they have a technique, the use specific colors and even materials, and specific patterns. Nonetheless, all that can be learn, and as a matter of fact has been learnt and developed by others just by looking at a piece.

So, for me, in this case, its originality is defined by whomever makes them: the Wayuu People.

The Wayuu mochilas are part of their culture, their legacy, their tradition, and yes even though anyone else can make them exactly alike, they are a product that have a specific social impact, because its sales also benefit the ones who make them.

Wayuu mochilas are characterized mainly by the bright colors. They have also certain patterns that are usually known and passed on by generations, still some new patterns and even colors are experimented from time to time.

There are 2 types of weaving, a single threaded and double threaded. Both are made by Wayuu people. Single threaded is the original Wayuu. The double threaded was developed as tourists wanted less expensive and faster products.

So, at the end as a buyer you can decide who to buy a product from, depending I guess on your budget and possibilities. This is info we give, so you can make an informed choice depending on your preferences and values.

Cum îți poți da seama dacă o geanta Wayuu mochila este autentica? Cu siguranța este o întrebare buna.

Ce anume o face autentica? Cum a croșetată? Culorile? Modelul? Persoana care o realizează?

Pentru mine este persoana care o realizează. Ei au o tehnica specifica, folosesc culori și materiale specifice. Cu siguranța asta se portar învața, și tehnica chiar a fost Învățată de alții uneori chiar doar privind o geanta.

Deci pentru mine, autenticitatea acestei piese este definita de cine o realizează, care in aceasta situație sunt indigenii Wayuu.

Gentile Wayuu mochila fac parte din cultura si tradiția lor, și chiar dacă oricine altcineva poate face genți asemănătoare, sunt un produs care arată un aspect social al tribului.

Gentile Wayuu mochila sunt făcute cu modele in culori țipătoare, și oamenii din trib prefera sa utilizeze de obicei aceleași modele și culori, chiar dacă mai și experimentează câteodată.

Aceste genți sunt tricotate in 2 moduri: dintr-un singur fir, care este modelul original Wayuu, și din doua, care a fost inventat mai mult datorită turiștilor.

Deci, pana la urma, fiecare cumpara ceea ce dorește in conformitate cu bugetul și cu alte preferințe, atâta timp cât informația primită este cea reala.
