Is it okay to ask a spoiler? (kinda, like, it's probably just for me I'm at the beginning of your fic and I'm anxious as fck 😂😂)

I'm reading LIAB (chapter Going the Distance), and loving every word of it! I'm considering it as a real book instead of fanfiction, because you're a really skilled author and I can't wait to read the whole series and become an unbearable fan annoying you!! 😜❤️🙏🏼

Anyway, while reading I can't help but wonder: during the series are we gonna see Zuko and Iroh together again? I can't stop thinking about how Zuko misses his uncle (for context, Chang just was left behind for me, so I'm a little emotional about that yet!!!) and I can't stop thinking if we get to see Iroh unleashing all his angry at Zhao once he finds out what happened to Zuko and how our boy suffered...

(Another question completely different: is there any scene in the story you would love to see draw? I actually got to know your fic because of the lovely fanarts hahah, and now I was thinking about drawing something that I read but can't decide which scene 😭😭)

HELLLOOOOO!! I had to look at the chapters to figure out which one was Going the Distance & then I realized you really are in the very beginning of the fic series haha! Well…. WELCOME! (&your anxiousness is super valid it’s a super anxious fic I’m even anxious just thinking about you being anxious lol)

AWWWWW I HOPE YOU LIKE THE ENTIRE SERIES!!! it gets a little wild in some places & super duper dark so I just like to always warn lol. heed the tags lol.

OK AYYYY so as for the spoilers: Iroh & Zuko will absolutely be reunited & it’s going to be a mess. So much will happen between where you’re at in the fic & where you’re going, that it’s hard to even explain without spoiling the entire fic! Which I will do if you want just let me know haha. but Iroh will be part of the story and I think you get an update on him towards the end of the first book & then you’ll hear about him in RIA & then they’ll be reunited in ITF. They have a long & painful journey ahead of them I’m sorry… you have quite a bit of angst to get through.

& I can promise you Iroh is going to be very very PISSED. I love me some slightly feral Iroh, especially when it comes to his nephew.

(omg omgomgomgommgggg fanart is like a proposal to me and I swear I’m rolling on the ground happily just thinking about it. But idk what scene I’d pick I really like people who create the fanart to pick because I like to see what they choose! Also you have a long way to go so maybe something will interest you?? I’m super excited either way!)

#I think iroh pov pops up around the forest lesbians #So if you find some lesbians in the woods you’re close to an iroh pov lol #It’s a very anxious fic and it’s a whump style story so just be prepared #But yeah Iroh is not a man to sit by and let his nephew suffer #Ok he actually totally is but not physically suffer haha he can look past internal trauma but he draws the line at physical injuries!#But zuko changes a lot…. So…. I'm not sure if I already asked you this, but which pen do you use for sketching digital art? And with device do use to draw or recommend for beginners? And, would you consider to post more time lapse videos? Principally of the process you have for new fanarts based on real ppl? Still amazes me how similar they look with the original person/actor but still have your art style!!

Hi hi!! I know this ask's been there for a long time let me apologize first it took this long to answer😭😶‍🌫️

If you're asking for brushes I use, you can see it on my previous ask here

And if you're asking about device, from the very first time I start digital art until now, I only use an old wacom intuos pen tablet. As for beginners actually I don't really know since I've been only using this one device up until now😂 I choose that pen tablet at first only because I think that time it's the cheapest one😂😂 but I heard ipad is beginner friendly? Since it seems handy and you can draw directly on surface like on paper?? (i really want to try it too tbh..)

please note that there's no tips or anything it's just how I draw using reference.. and also please don't see it as some kind of guide bc I'm afraid it could be misleading😂

My way of drawing stylized character based on real people is to remember: use references!!!, proportion matters, unique features (what makes them not like others?), and character’s usual expressions😉

Also sorry it's just a little sketch, I was afraid my laptop couldn't make it if I record whole painting (it could take a whole day)😅 Or does anyone here have app/software recommendations for making timelapse vids??

How do you draw wenzhou so perfect? Like at same time they look like the actors, but they aren't super-realist and they have your artstyle! How do you get this perfection-balanced thing? I always feel like if I wanna draw someone that exists I have to give up my artstyle or else it's not going to look alike 😞

uhhh I'm not sure how to answer this because I don't understand it myself sorry😭 I think the first time I tried to draw them and using tons of reference pics I actually wanted to make it realistically and look alike, it's just come naturally with me when I'm using reference pic ig.. but my laziness just made me simplified it all using my so-called style😭 I think it happens in all of my drawings...

but if you want to draw real people using your style but you also want to make it look alike, you can start observing their faces' unique features and their face proportions.. for me I mostly do that. I think I've answered similar question before, you can see it here.

but most importantly, you have to enjoy it when you draw✨

Hi so, do you have any of those "making off" vids of your drawing process? Like from the sketch to finish?

I know it seems random questions, it's just that I'm learning how to draw and I saw I lot of videos of "how to find your artstyle" and improve your art. Almost all of them said it's nice to see how your favorite artists do stuff and understand their process and lines... So... I love your art! (For real! There are amazing!), and was really curious about how you deal with the sketching process?

I think I'm a mess sketching, do you think this is a problem? Do you have any tips for this messy fan of yours? 🥺🙏🏼

for any process vids... my answer is still the same i don't have any of them i'm so sorry😭 every time i planned to record my drawing process for backups i ended up forgetting and only remember it in the middle........ and i have to do it all manually and i guess it'll take some times and i still need to figure out how to do it efficiently🤔 no promises but i probably will try to make some in the future wml!!

i don't think it's a problem at all?? (somehow i like them messier yeah, i just don't have good relationship with clean lines) some of my base sketches are so rough and sometimes if i know i'll end up painting them i'll just leave them be.. it's a different case tho if i want to finish them as only sketches sometimes i'll just polish them a little, but yeah it takes more time:/

i'm not sure if there are an tips from me on sketching i'm so sorry!! i can only give these as example of my untouched sketches (the others' are already merged w/ the colors-_-). Looked like they're clean but actually not, my habit is to make those repeated thin lines and made them unite, looking as if they're one solid line. Takes more time but i'm having fun in the process!
