Some doodles from different scenes of @ssreeder 's fanfic LIAB! I literally drop everything when you upload QuQ <3 thank you for putting so much effort into this fic, it really shows! I love it!
Really wanted to capture the two most heartbreaking moments of the last few chapters - two very, very different reunions with very different underlying emotions.
And the last one is a doodle after reading the most recent chapter - Zuko wearing his hair in a messy ponytail, dressed in expensive clothing - moments before disaster :))

Risking It All
This is the second part of LIAB so if you haven’t read this READ IT NOW
War Crimes
Book one ends with two major diffrences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s war ship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.
A lot.
The Art of Burning
Zuko is kidnapped by the southern water tribe and an accidental found family is formed. then torn apart. And angst and zukka.
National Treasure
Zuko was never banished from the fire nation, he tried to fight the agni kai, he got burned, but he was never banished. only for the fact that he was considered a national treasure for his kindness and compassion to the people. When the gaang finds this out, they hatch a plot hoping to end the war once and for all,spoilers, nothing goes according to plan.
Ozymandias, King of Kings
After that fateful Agni Kai, Ozai makes a different call. Branded as a traitor and banished to a prison camp, Zuko learns how cruel the Fire Nation can be to its citizens. Three years, a water tribe raid, and an unexpected meeting with a gang of over-enthusiastic idealistic children puts Zuko back in the spotlight. The revolution is coming and it wants another poster boy, but Zuko is not willing to lend his face to the cause.
Unpathed Waters, Undreamed Shores
Sokka is a sea-walker and when he finds himself pulled onto a Fire Nation ship, he chooses to stay aboard as their would-be "captive" rather than reveal the Water Tribe's secrets. He forms an unlikely bond with the exiled prince of the Fire Nation. there are still secrets and conflicts that can't be erased, and it's up to each of them to decide if they'll choose the worlds they're used to or fight for a new world where they can be together.

It’s good but sadly they are straight
After the Blue Spirit frees the Avatar from the Pohuai Stronghold, Admiral Zhao captures Prince Zuko under suspicion of treason. Isolated from his Uncle and his crew, Zuko has only one ally: the chatty prisoner one cell over.

This is pretty much my favorite scene in LIAB! So cute! A lot of authors always make the main characters "fall in love with each other very suddenly",so I really,really like how Sokka's thought process makes them more realistic characters!
LIAB is my favorite atla fanfiction! I love how you interact with the reader every time in the notes,and I love Zukka's gradual unobtrusive relationship development!
I remember when I first started reading this fiction last year,I stayed up for two days to read the latest chapter,and since then checking my monthly emails for updates on Risking It All has been the most exciting thing I've ever done! XD <333
Scenes from LIAB always come to my mind when I'm reading,but I have an exam in June that is almost the most important exam of my life to prepare for,I'm always sad that I don't have time to do what I want to do before the exam,there are so many images I want to draw >. <

Inspired by the scenes in LIAB Chapter 19:
“Even thinking about it made his stomach do a cold flip that sent a funny feeling down to a part of him he had reserved for thoughts of Suki and Yue. Zuko… umm…Well,Zukowasn’t supposed to be there,because that was…weird. Sokka smiled when he thought about Suki and Yue sitting next to each other in that special place in his mind and how Zuko somehow found his way in there and was sitting down next to them. He would probably glare at them and Sokka was positiveSuki would try to fight him… which would upset Yue...”
AND
“Sokka thought about Yue and Suki… Yue’s big blue eyes and soft smile and Suki’s auburn hair and her fierce demeanor… and then he saw goldand his heart started to beat in his chest the way it did the night he held Zuko close and how every time he was alone with the boy it was as if the world vanished and it was just the two of them…. ”
Because it is a psychological activity so I kept their canon clothes ((even Sokka has not seen zuko this set of clothes ((this is bug ;(
The reflection of Blue Spirit in the teacup refers to the reason for Zuko's imprisonment…. The scene where Zuko can't remember his uncle's harmonic joke is meant to express that Sokka saw his softer side… Hope my expression is not that bad :x

Is it okay to ask a spoiler? (kinda, like, it's probably just for me I'm at the beginning of your fic and I'm anxious as fck 😂😂)
I'm reading LIAB (chapter Going the Distance), and loving every word of it! I'm considering it as a real book instead of fanfiction, because you're a really skilled author and I can't wait to read the whole series and become an unbearable fan annoying you!! 😜❤️🙏🏼
Anyway, while reading I can't help but wonder: during the series are we gonna see Zuko and Iroh together again? I can't stop thinking about how Zuko misses his uncle (for context, Chang just was left behind for me, so I'm a little emotional about that yet!!!) and I can't stop thinking if we get to see Iroh unleashing all his angry at Zhao once he finds out what happened to Zuko and how our boy suffered...
(Another question completely different: is there any scene in the story you would love to see draw? I actually got to know your fic because of the lovely fanarts hahah, and now I was thinking about drawing something that I read but can't decide which scene 😭😭)

but Iroh will be part of the story and I think you get an update on him towards the end of the first book & then you’ll hear about him in RIA & then they’ll be reunited in ITF. They have a long & painful journey ahead of them I’m sorry… you have quite a bit of angst to get through.
& I can promise you Iroh is going to be very very PISSED. I love me some slightly feral Iroh, especially when it comes to his nephew.
(omg omgomgomgommgggg fanart is like a proposal to me and I swear I’m rolling on the ground happily just thinking about it. But idk what scene I’d pick I really like people who create the fanart to pick because I like to see what they choose! Also you have a long way to go so maybe something will interest you?? Played through the demo for Love in a Bottle and SOMEHOW managed to miss the cute ghost lady!
I genuinely don't even know what I'd have to do to find her. I found like 4 different ghost chickens, but not ghost wife
Well of the ones I did meet
Wolf lady is very cute. She's hairy, broke, and extremely stressed out. So she's "just like me fr fr"
Sea creature lady is... interesting. Like I wanna find out what her deal is even if I don't wanna like romance her
The actual literal goddess was delightful and definitely my favorite of the three that I met. She strikes that balance between super powerful badass and complete fail girl, that I just love
