What if Venom has bonded to She-Hulk is actually a really cool idea, and I thought this issue was pretty fun! It helps that the art for Venom She-Hulk was absolutely phenomenal too.

The Venom She-Hulk x Moon Knight crossover seems to be really interesting and I’m looking forward to seeing where that goes. Moon Knight and Venom have a ton of similiarities so it’s great that Marvel has finally capitalized on that.

What If?...Venom #1 (of 5), from writer Jeremy Holt and artist Jesús Hervás and featuring a cover by Leinil Francis Yu, goes on sale on February 28, 2024.

Speaking of which...

Looks like I owe my friend a bowl of ramen; when we were discussing what the Doctor Strange Issue for What If...? Venom could be, she suggested that Stephen would find peaceful co-existence with the symbiote. I initially wasn't sold on that idea...until she explained to me her reasoning, and I actually grew to enjoy the idea.

It turns out the writer for this issue had the same line of thinking my friend did, because that's essentially what this Issue is...and it kinda makes me sad now that this isn't an entire mini focused on a universe where Stephen keeps the symbiote and tames it. I think that could be a lot of fun.

I still wish Clea was in the book, though! It would've been fun seeing her reaction to the symbiote. Also, let's face it; with Stephen in control of an alien creature like that, you just know they'd be having freaky symbiote sex!
