When Ember asked him to be her duet at a concert, Danny didn't think it was a good idea, but the ghost insisted and said she was sure he had a very good voice. In the end the halfa accepted, and they passed off their ghostly appearance as some kind of exotic make-up. They were Phantom and Ember, "Ghost Stars".

Oddly enough, that was how Danny discovered that his voice was...strangely good for singing. The people around him seemed vaguely hypnotized before Ember snapped them out of said state with a solo on her guitar. People said it was an amazing experience.

Danny decided to accept more of the ghost invitations and in a very short time they had become very popular musicians - they even toured! but when they were passing through Gotham, they were stopped by the dark knight.

Batman was very concerned about the mind control he had noticed at several concerts and decided to confront the source. It was best to thwart their plans before they happened. His sons were not convinced about his deductions.

my post about Danver’s racism hits so much harder knowing now that she had an Indigenous son and she lost him, implicitly to someone white and drunk like the woman she arrests in an early episode. She made a life with a man she loved and she had a baby with him - someone she likely felt growing inside her, that was born with her eyes, that looked nothing else like her but was her baby. Her special little boy. And then this town, out of nowhere, stole him from her in the most horrific way. So love nothing. Protect no one. Let nobody in. Until Navarro with all her problems and her heart and her belief and that connection which allows her to see Holden, to tell Liz what he said, comes crashing in. And everything changes.

saw alot of comments on prev pages; saying 'i HATE that mean teacher! im gonna FIGHT HIM!!' & i LOVE the energy!! it WOULD be nice. to have that catharsis. but the story of young tidestrider is Not one of catharsis. it is a story of being so small and so special and sucking so bad.

yk when babies have that small grumbling purr when they breathe, almost like a snore. consider grogu lying on din’s chest. they’re in their little cot, din’s taken off most his armor, grogu’s head right underneath his chin. din has a hand on grogu’s back, feeling the way his little body rises and falls with every breath. grogu’s sleeping, snuggled into din’s chest, because din couldn’t sleep earlier and grogu wanted to help. baby starts doing that little grumbling purr, the breathing through his nose and chest that makes just the smallest noise and just the tiniest rumble against din’s chest and soothes and calms him. it slowly lulls him to sleep, the vibration from grogu’s chest, the small rumbling noise coming from his nose. helps din relax, even on worse nights where he feels restless. the quiet noise fills in the silence where it used to be all the time.

din hates waking grogu up, and he’d rather have his whole body go numb than try to move grogu off of him. worth it though, just to see baby so relaxed, to feel and hear baby breathe against his chest. it feels right, to din at least. he’s unsure about a lot of things, but this feels right.

the way bad sounds a little alarmed every time he calls to trousers when he cant find them... haha im not getting "pomme?" flashbacks at all i promise haha

Izuku sometimes, often, think about how strange he must seem to his classmates. They didn’t know him before he went back, but he can never quite stop that niggling worry that he at some point let something slip, that they will never fully trust him like they once, in a long gone future, did.

He watches First and Second dance around the field, careful not to step on the few wild flowers even as their footsteps do no harm. They are less careful about stepping on third and fifth as they sunbathe, first delightfully chanting in a childish sing-song that it’s perfectly legal to walk on people laying on the floor.

Even if Izuku haven’t let anything incriminating of the future and his way too much knowledge slip, he’s sure at least some of his classmates have spotted him looking at empty air, laughing at jokes no one else can hear, mumbling more than just hero analysis notes.

But even as he worries, Izuku can’t bring himself to dislike the vestiges company. He can’t bring himself to hate that they came back just like him, that it only took a few days with one for all for them to show up outside of his head as well as within it, compared to the two years it took the first time.

Their presence is grounding, a clear reminder that what he went through really happened. Listening ears for the events no one else may hear, for the plans he brainstorms with them to make sure it will never happen again.
