Volvo C90 Sports Coupe Concept
What if...Volvo created this sports car and introduced it into their lineup? Based off of the S90 platform, this sports coupe would offer the same engine and transmission as found in the S90. But be slightly tuned for higher performance out of the engine with an upgraded turbocharger.

Volvo VESC
Tumblr media
🇬🇧 The Volvo VESC (Volvo Experimental Safety Car) was a prototype vehicle presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1972 and was a forerunner in the field of automotive safety.
From an aesthetic point of view, the VESC anticipated the design language of the future Volvo 240, introduced in 1974 and subsequently became Volvo’s longest-running model, with nearly 2.9 million cars produced during its 19 years of production. The Volvo 240 also became the reference car for the American National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

I paraurti estremamente pronunciati conferivano all’auto un profilo caratteristico. Proteggevano la carrozzeria dai danni ai pannelli in impatti a bassa velocità fino a 16 km/h.
Freni anti-bloccaggio.
Controllo automatico dell’altezza di marcia.
Interruzione automatica dell’alimentazione del carburante.
Avviso acustico di retromarcia.
