trans girl looking for help

after an incredibly rough start to the year, we're finally on our way to getting back on our feet with work, but could use some help handling some bills that have left us overdrafted to the tune of $300

on top of that, our car has started to run really rough and aren't entirely sure how much that's going to cost us, but we're hoping it's something as simple as an oil change

Most of the localization for old school FF games makes sense, and even holds up reasonably well, but boy did they miss the references when they translated the names of the four elemental fiends.

Scarmiglone? Milon. Cagnazzo? Kainazzo. Barbariccia? Valvalis for some reason.

At least the unequivocally best of them gets to be Rubicante in both the original release and all the remasters/FFXIV versions.

Do you play an instrument?

I played the flute and guitar at one point, the former better than the latter, but that was years ago.

Favorite book characters?

Any character flawed to hell or super messy, especially if doomed by the narrative. Lately I’ve been rotating all The Locked Tomb characters in my head like the mircowave, but particularly John Gaius, Palamedes Sextus, and Gideon Nav.

All-time classics are still Lirael and Chlorr from the Abhorsen series, by Garth Nix.

What’s your star sign?

Capricorn Sun, Cancer Moon, Libra Rising

I haven’t the slightest clue what any of those mean. I’ve dated a few different kind of astrology fans. I know my odus too.

Favorite color schemes?

Blacks, brick-colours, warm wood tones and deep greens for interior decor. Anything with a burnt orange or warm yellow for everything else, at the moment.

Naps or long sleep?

I cannot nap for the life of me. If we’re napping, it’s gonna be for a minimum of 4 hours.

What languages do you speak?

English, French, a toddler’s grasp of Finnish.

Dreams/Aspirations?

A cabin somewhere with enough space that my dog can run around outside in the woods. Owning a place would be enough. Learning to dive is on my bucket list so I can go night diving.

Short hair

Tea or coffee?

Coffee. I wish I could be a tea person but I get caffeine headaches. (￣￣|||)

Absolutely a fictional world.

trans girl in need of help

just over a month ago two of my housemates blew up our house chat over a broken glass, using that occurrence as the catalyst to unleash five months worth of grievances they'd been sitting on without a word. this led to our third housemate announcing that he'd given his 30-days notice and recommended we do the same as there was little chance of us finding a replacement and we could not afford to pay the increased cost.

i've since managed to move back in with my mom, but moving is tiring and i had to take a lot of time off from work to get everything packed and moved over to the house and now my car's registration and my phone bill are due.

soft goal is $375 to cover those and gas while i get settled back in and working the usual hours again.
