Humza Yousaf terminating the Bute House agreement with the Scottish Greens while I’m travelling.
Cheers big man.
Part of me thinks this will actually allow the greens to be a bit more combative. I think they’ve had to toe the line a bit more so it might work out better overall.
Not sure if I agree with Humza terminating it while the Greens were scheduled to discuss and vote on whether to continue the agreement or not. Feels a bit spiteful.

The UK Deputy Prime Minister declined to condemn the Israeli occupation's killing of Palestinians and their burial in mass graves, stating that the UK expects the "democratic government of Israel to investigate any allegations of misconduct."

Knowing that Boris Johnson likes to be called "Big dog" makes me regret paying any attention to politics whatsoever.

I don't trust Labour to effectively re-nationalise the railways, obviously, because I wouldn't trust them to find their arse with both hands and a map. However, I do enjoy the two counterpoints I saw out in front of the plan, to whit:
A) The rail industry saying it'll actually cost taxpayers more and B) It'll take a while for the benefits to appear for commuters.
To answer those in reverse wwwwhhhhyyyyy would it matter if it takes a while? If something is better than what something is now, it's better. Don't give a fuck if it takes time.
If you stick your hand in a toaster, oh well, if you take it out it'll take a while to stop hurting, so why bother? Are you fucking cracked?
And like, what? The guys who are making bank right now running a shitty service even deeper into the ground? We're listening to them? Why? Why would we ever do that? Do you ask the guy who's kicking you in the balls for his opinion on your balls? I think his position is pretty clear! Especially when he's been doing it for thirty fucking years!
Hey, you know what, even if they're right - and I fucking doubt it - and re-nationalisation somehow does cost the taxpayer more, at the very least the money won't be going to you, you packet of useless, rancid cunts. That's a price worth paying, I'd say.

I have very little sympathy for the PM at the best of times…
But currently, he’s annoyed and tetchy that people keep speculating about the date of the election he refuses to call.
Here’s an idea for free: TELL US WHEN THE ELECTION WILL BE, and that will stop the speculation!

Meanwhile, in the UK...
A Tory MP stands to make £3m from the sale of a slave plantation his family established in Barbados which he inherited.
I say this as a Brit and as a believer in reparations: he needs to give that land back for free. Because that is the MINIMUM he should be doing. His family held slaves for centuries. His wealth is built on the deaths of 30,000 enclaved people thousands of miles from his own country. The man owes his entire lifestyle to wealth gained during slavery.
He's not my MP but anyone who lives in Dorset GIVE HIM HELL!! You can contact him and make it clear you won't vote for a man (because otherwise you were certainly going to vote Tory *cough*) who continues to hold land gained under slavery and colonialism and expects to be richer for it.

They'll probably just dismiss it by calling the UN 'lefties' or 'woke' or something.
