After dining out at Fu Lee Seafood (富俐海鮮), a tze char (煮炒) stall located in Block 126 Canberra Street, sis help packed for us the Mango Crispy Chicken (芒果脆鸡) and Yang Zhou Fried Rice (扬州炒饭). Love the extra crispy fried chicken cutlet with tangy sweet and spicy mango sauce. Even the fried rice is so good with flavour of the Wok Hei (镬气), translated into English means “wok thermal radiation” or metaphorically, the “breath of the wok”.

Observed an intense meeting, and felt a little sad to know higher up colleagues is a little not so nice. Pray that I don't have to be targeted to be in such situation.
Yay~ my yankee candle essential oils is here~ can make my own candle liao. Request hubby to make it tgt cos it's easy n simple activity. Can't wait for my bed to deliver and shall lit d candle and enjoy our bed.
Intro hubby salted egg bitter gourd at a fishhead tze char place...Hahaha and hubby insisted to order the fishhead else he felt its silly. Okay lo~ 😆
Was looking forward to wkend...just felt tired working. Thank God I can wfh. Went gym w hubby and I didn't realise I was using 15kg bar instead of 12.5kg until I saw hubby helped to put it back. Thats how hubby train me lol. We had tteobokki for dinner which i cook while waitingfor hubby to returnfrom work...not bad~
Stomach was aching badly ard 6+ that it woke me up. Had diarrhea 4 times within 2 hrs...so when to see doc. Believe it could be germs (dirt) or over strained my abs that it caused cramps. Took meds and thankfully I felt better during d concert.
Was really happy that it wasn't raining, knew quite a lot of song during d concert and there was closed up moments. Woohoo~ hope hubby enjoyed this experience. Tsk tsk, but hubby asked y nvr buy standing pit tickets. When I earn more okay...and u know how to sing that singer de song. 😏
Jialat...drank ginger milk tea during dinner...now I'm wake awake. Plus, I took nap late morning.
Meal prep for tmr dinner shall be my PB banana oats smoothie~

usual hubbub before leaving for work
for some reason, this week i have not been wanting to keep awake reading horoscopes/news during the morning ride
which means i actually fell asleep (which is pretty rare)
overwhelmed at work as usual - for some reason, Eunice is on leave and suddenly it's her cases which are explosive lol
had leicha for lunch and sat with the usual gang
post lunch coma
parents came to drive me home from work
had dinner and played Hogwarts Legacy again
played for too long and couldn't run
Sis took too long in the bathroom (hah karma) and i didn't shower before sleeping (ew)
huhu.

so I showered in the morning before leaving for work
Tried to sleep on the car ride but mind was too active
Was pdtive in the morning before this draggy case held me for the rest of the morning till lunch
parents drove me elsewhere for lunch - tze char at a coffeeshop. It was nice but not fantastic.
Went back, had my apple and spent LOTS of time drafting the report for the draggy case zzz
got home at about 6:30? huhu.
had dinner.
Watched random shows and YT videos.
Here typing this, will go downstairs and run.
Will return home and attempt to clear some work before sleeping.

Ooh, that’s a tricky one. Let me see...probably Carmen Sandiego with Graham Calloway/Crackle from the modern rendition of the show. Still not 100% keen on it (largely for its treatment of Devereaux more than anything), but I’ve always been a sucker for best-friends-to-slightly-more-than and these two have some surprisingly soft moments together. Took reading a couple of stories to really notice what went on in the show...

So far I’ve found it genuinely difficult to get behind a backstory for Hookfoot or even Hookhand. But the fact that Hookfoot was willing to enter a relationship and admit that he didn’t know what he was doing but had enough faith in his crush to ask to try again and made an effort to get it right this time...that’s worthy of kudos right there, sir. And then going back to help your friends despite getting it right? Hook of steel but a heart of gold, that one.

Look, I’ll be honest, I don’t much like movie-made Next Generation stuff. I don’t like a lot of the fandom stuff either, to be fair, but with the fandom stuff? People actually are allowed to care about the characters from the original. They don’t have to reset them into bland and frankly rather boring stereotypes of “people who made mistakes” (barring the favourites, of course), they take the time and effort to create new life and new people from characters they already love and appreciate. That’s worth a heck of a lot, to my mind. And when the children get a proper life of their own, adventures of their own on a smaller or grander scale? That gets even better, because now even if you’ve got good characters in the form of parents to compare it to you can still root for the kids and feel their trials and tribulations. When your parents have had all these adventures, when they’ve made the mistakes and pulled through, it’s hard not to feel second-best. But you’re not. You’re the next best. And fandom authors? So often—certainly more often than most sequel-writers, who usually insist on the newbies being the actual best—they get that. So one more kudos for all those who make new-generation stories that put kid and adult on equal footing instead of ignoring one or squashing the other.

Went across the street to the 24hrs coffee shop to order Singapore Fried Noodles (星洲米粉) and Hor Fun (河粉) from the tze char (煮炒) stall. The first is fried bee hoon or rice vermicelli while the latter is broad flat rice noodle.

I took the easy way to dinner and opted for Economy Rice (菜饭) with this big piece of savoury pork chop, crispy ikan bilis & crunchy peanuts and kang kong (water spinach) stir-fry over steamed rice.

Hubby brought me out for dinner date! Get to try tze char and muah chee which I'm craving. So satisfying~ Started packing my luggage n plan my ootd for Jap on Sun.
Met up w colleague to hike from bukit timah to macritchie and that's 4.5hrs of walking n stairs. Can't feel my legs for the next 2 days~ Although we went JB for a massage the next day.
Went to pray hubby's side ancestors on Wed and just nice get to pray for mum's side ancestors. Had satisfying lunch at Shunfu mart n KO when we went back hubby's hse. Clear some work emails before heading back home.
Glad that I manged to clear most work and get to meet hubby for dinner. The mookata was expensive. $60+ for 2 pax (2 pint of beer). Maybe cos its charcoal fire kind. Was really thirsty after dinner. Dw go back for their mookata anymore. But hubby was sweet to view blue moon w me. His phone was able to capture d moon so clearly at x30 zoom.
Cleaned my room a little, nap, went polling for our 9th president and went pasar malam n some grocery shopping w sis ytd. Went home and start some meal prep for next day.
Cooked Salmon chowder w miso milk broth again but this time for MIL for lunch. We had it w Udon. Hubby requested me to use meji milk instead for more authentic Jap cuisine taste lol
I requested hubby to dinner out w me cos mum asked me to settle own dinner before coming back. So hubby suggested to see d comex show. We had pizza and lasagne. Took a stroll from suntec to mbs. I love it to just hold hubby's hand n chit chat. We had Heytea, sitting outside mbs before heading home.
Planning to do meal prep n trimming my fringe tmr. I'm so excited for my honeymoon!!
