Around 2004 her son Ravi Coltrane discovered earlier recordings without synthesizer, which were first released in 2021 as Alice Coltrane - Kirtan: Turiya Sings. But as yet "the original Turiya Sings (1982) remains formally unreleased because the Coltrane family has never found its master synthesizer recordings" (Jenn Pelly, Pitchfork, 2021-07-17).

Dear Meditator,

During this delicate time of rising levels of individual and collective stress due to COVID-19, I have been asked what more we can do to help to reduce the fear and create a wave of positivity and coherence in our nation.

It is with this in mind that I warmly invite everyone to join us for daily synchronized practice of the TM® technique from the comfort of your home or workplace. Either meditate with your time zone OR with others others around the country. (See the starting times below.)

Why meditate at the same time?

We have all experienced how the TM technique can dramatically reduce stress in our own life. Research has shown that larger numbers meditating together can extend that stress-reducing effect beyond the individual to our whole environment. Those who have joined remotely in our Nationwide and Global Group Meditations have often reported a more settled and deep quality to their TM practice.

National Group Meditation schedule

The chart below makes it easy for most of us to participate in these “group” meditations from our own homes or workplaces. There are two starting times to choose from for both morning and evening. Choose the times that are most convenient to you.
