i find it so amazing how almost all the Avatar’s looks like the previous avatar’s spouse..

example, Kavik, Yangchen’s ‘lover’, looks very similar to Avatar Kuruk (the avatar after Yangchen)

Kuruk’s lover , Ummi , looks somewhat similar to Avatar Kyoshi (the avatar after Kuruk)

Avatar Kyoshi’s lover, Rangi, Looks a lot like Avatar Roku ( who is the avatar after Kyoshi)

Roku’s lover, Ta Min, looks very similar to Avatar Aang (the avatar after Roku)

and, last but not least, Avatar Korra has facial familiarities similar Katara, Aang’s lover

Here's another Lin headcanon because lately, I've been on a Lin mood.

As lovely as the fanarts depict her, and I'm aware what I'm about to say will be an unpopular opinion, but IMHO, Beifong ain't got cheese grater abs. She's in extraordinary shape for a 54 year old woman obviously and those earthbender genes to seem to favor women in particular (cough Suyin, Toph, Kyoshi, Kuvira cough), so besides training with the metalbending corps, most of the source of exercise is just her moving around and doing her job because she's not one to be tied down to her desk doing paperwork for too long.

Oh, to be Raiko here.

The type of movements she does, especially with the metal wires pretty much guarantees she'll have toned arms, strong shoulders, and firm legs but I don't see the six pack abs because those come from specific exercise routines and a touch of dehydration. I think she has a bit of a belly because at her age this is totally normal, so I can see Lin with a bit of fluff on her belly while still being totally able to beat the young officers who dare challenge her on metalbending drills and push ups to a pulp.

Now together everyone, "I'm holding out for a hero 'till the morning light..."
