INFO ABOUT MY CREEPYPASTA AU'S:

So I have two AUs as of right now,

Citypastas - Joint AU shared with my two best friends + Other people who wanted to be in it but didn't create it

Archives from the Abyss - An AU solely made by me! Mainly writing and surprisingly, not Nina centric! It's about all the pastas and other internet horrors, it derails from the cannon and the fannon, more of a mix of whatever I view the pastas as. On this blog I'll mainly write about Archives from the Abyss..

Archives from The Abyss

Takes place in Centralia, Pennsylvania.

An elusive agency, shrouded in mystery, devoted to hunting cryptids and unraveling the paranormal. Led by the elusive Director Obsidian, operatives known as "Arcane Revenants" venture into the shadows, armed with occult knowledge and enigmatic artifacts. From ancient forests to abyssal depths, they brave the unknown, battling creatures that defy comprehension. Their purpose: to protect the world from the eldritch and to pierce the veil that hides the unfathomable.

Archives have gotten leaked from The Abyss, files about a group of individuals who didn't seem to exist in our world, but another plane of dimension who've broken the timeline and merged realities.

In short, the Operator has found a way to break realities and has scattered his pastas across the multiverse in order to gain more power to defeat the Nezperdian Hivemind, otherwise known as Zalgo. The Abyss Agency attempts to control these anomalies and send them back to their original universe.

Citypastas - MODERN!Creepypasta AU

Takes place in Super Awesome Town, USA.

A nina-jeff-ben centric story, pretty self explanatory.

In the heart of the ominous forest, Jeff the Killer, a restless and thrill-seeking spirit, yearns to escape the confines of the trees and plunge into the chaos of the city once more. Eager to quench his desire for fear and adrenaline, he proposes a daring adventure to his fellow pastas, Nina and BEN. Their journey takes them through the shadows of the forest, guided by the pale moonlight, as Jeff outlines his plan to blend into the urban landscape and rekindle the terror that fuels him. Cloaked in disguise, they step into the bustling city, concealing their menacing appearance beneath hoods and masks.

In short, Jeff, BEN, and Nina go into the city! They've been confined to the forest in this AU, as well as all the other pastas. Slowly but surely all the pastas make their way out of the forest and try to learn normalcy.

Fun facts:

Liu is normal in this au, he owns a cafe.

Nurse Ann is being 'considered' to being a pasta, so instead of living in the mansion or forest she owns a clinic yet deals with hallucinations of Slenderman.

Happy Appy is cannon here, he lives in the sewers.

Squidward Suicide is also a cannon creepypasta in this AU.

Judge Angels and Helen are exs in this, but Judge Angels is a normal person and never was influenced by Slenderman! She goes by Dianne and is Liu's roommate whose trying to meet ends meet.

Jane is a lesbian like her cannon backstory, she's dating a normal person named Mary Vaughn.

Lulu, Lazari, BEN, and Sally's rooms are all connected in the mansion like a big ol' sleepover.

This AU started from a creepypasta minecraft server.

You know I frequently think about what Magnus Archive entities different characters from things would be warlocks for but I don’t think I’ve ever really talked about any of my thoughts on it before. Maybe I should start doing that, just for fun. Someone might find it interesting. This one is for IEYTD because I don’t expect this hyperfixation to die very soon. Spoilers for all the games. Oh and if you want to use this as inspiration for some weird crossovers you can, but please tell me if you do, because I wanna see it.

Agent Phoenix: The End This one is especially fitting if you think of the time loops as being in universe, stuck dying again and again, but it works even without that. Constantly close to death, feeling the fear of death, but never actually dying. Causing others fear because their friends have to deal with grief and their enemies have to be terrified every time they survive something they shouldn’t have. You could make an argument for The Beholding, you can for most protagonists, but it doesn’t make as much sense to me.

Handler: The Beholding He watches his agents do such dangerous things and can’t do much more than watch. He can help in someways but not too many. I imagine it would also be uncomfortable for Zoraxis agents to know they’re being watched by someone who they can’t see, someone other than the agent in front of them. Alternatively, he could be The Web. (“A mere puppeteer, they only enslave you,”) I just don’t think that works as well since he also has to answer to The Agency and he doesn’t have any malicious intent with his manipulations.

Dr. Zor: The Web Constantly orchestrating schemes from the shadows, has no loyalty to anyone and will kill their highest ranks without remorse if they interfere with their plans, too clever to ever be caught, and knows what Phoenix will do well enough to leave messages for them. Could also make arguments for The Stranger, The Beholding, The End, and The Extinction, but I think all of those connect back to their plotting and masterminding.

Daniel Sans: The Corruption Very minor character but I felt like adding him here. He made a super virus. That’s it that’s all I’ve got.

Zoraxis AI: The Buried Specifically the one in the escape pod. Does this even count as a character? No idea, but you can’t tell me that escape pod doesn’t sound like it would be the subject of someone’s statement if they got out of it alive.

Hivemind: The Corruption He’s literally just bees. Like, a bunch of bees. His name is Hivemind. What else can I even say?

Solaris: Uh The Vast Maybe? Because space? I’ll be honest I’m not really sure about this one, if anyone has any ideas I’d love to hear them.

The Fabricator: The Desolation She seems to enjoy the pain she causes with her inventions, whereas some of the scientists in game seem more like they’re just hurting people for the sake of their science. I’d also definitely accept The End for her since death traps are kind of her main thing.

John Juniper: The Stranger He’s got the masks, the acting and lying, he impersonates people, it seems like a perfect fit honestly. I guess he could maybe work for The Spiral but that’s mostly because it’s so similar to The Stranger.

Gibson: The Beholding Ok this one might sound a bit weird but hear me out. Phoenix pretends to be Gibson for a reason, his radio allows him to eavesdrop and he probably does eavesdrop just so he won’t miss Juniper’s commands. Gibson is just a butler, but he hears all about these worldwide conspiracies and gets caught in the crossfire, and there really isn’t much he can do about it. Except threatening to share the things that he’s heard, which is very affective, because he’s heard a lot of important secrets.

Shawn in HR: The Beholding Honestly he really does give me archive assistant or object storage vibes. Just doing his job hearing about and sorting the horrors. The big difference is that the horrors in this situation are corporate espionage and conspiracies.

Dr. Prism: The Extinction Ok once again, this may seem a bit weird, but hear me out. Her main goal in game is to replace the agents with robots and there is an element of humanity being replaced to The Extinction, not just everyone dying. Then there’s Zor’s betrayal destroying all her robots at once. Then she helps Phoenix save all the agents in the world from death. Even if it’s never an extinction of humanity she certainly has experience with extinctions. An alternate might be The Hunt because of her obsession with revenge and killing Phoenix or Zor, and the Agency trying to track her down.

Robutler: The Stranger or The Spiral He just seems so friendly and happy to talk to you while he attempts to kill you.

Ollie: The Lonely I swear this isn’t just because Ollie’s voice reminds me of Alexander J Newall’s. The poor guy just got abandoned in the ocean for like at least a month. His coworkers and bosses seem to be pretty mean to him too.

Director Morales: The Web He really is just running The Agency behind the scenes. We really don’t hear much about him orchestrating anything but maybe that’s just because he’s really good at it. Out of all these characters, he would probably be the creepiest to me if he was actually a warlock for an entity.

The Phantom: The Web We really don’t know much about them but they manage to leave coins for Phoenix to find everywhere they go knowing that they’ll find them. Very Web like behavior. Maybe The Hunt. The coin thing is kinda like a scavenger hunt and they do have to track down Phoenix to leave those clues.

#You could probably make all these characters The End if you wanted to #the game’s named after death for a reason #but that’s not as fun nor as fitting for most of them #Oh and about Ollie’s voice it’s not really his voice itself that reminds me of Alex but something in his delivery #Like something about the emphasis and tone sound a lot like him and his characters to me #ieytd #I expect you to die #the magnus archives #ranting #If you have thoughts on this wether you agree with me or not I am very open to hearing them and discussing it with you btw #tma

I love posts about human customs being incomprehensible to aliens or humans having all these strange but helpful instincts, but you know what would also be funny? Aliens super relating to some of humanity’s less admirable qualities.

- Woman starts shrieking hysterically at alien encounter, aliens are pleased that someone there properly respects the momentousness of this potentially terrifying occasion.

- Obsessive collector becomes liason to aliens with dragon-like hoarding culture.

- Human crying over a papercut is first human that soft jellyfish aliens feel they can relate to.

- Massive introvert (this is not a bad human quality it’s just rarer to see in Humans As Space Orcs scenarios) who likes spending time alone in a small room is highly desirable as coworker for extremely social race that get anxious in enclosed spaces, lets them work on other things in more open areas.

- Human with poor hygeine learns aliens find the smell of sweat delightful.

- Hivemind aliens mistaking an angry mob for another hivemind, successfully open relations with mob leader.

Yes yes everyone’s talking (or not) about Bruno and other plot twists in Encanto, but I want to explore the REALLY GROUNDBREAKING points of Encanto that you never expect in a Disney movie:

Heroine has two LOVING, ALIVE parents who are STILL MARRIED.

Both main married couples on-screen have been faithfully married (and NOT died) for at least 20 years.

The husbands are both LOVING and AFFECTIONATE to their kids and wives. (Yes I WILL go on about healthy marriages and families portrayed in media and you CANT STOP ME)

The main character’s dad is kinda goofy but still shown to be wise and capable when it matters.

A boy got the requisite animal companion(s) instead of the main girl.

The main girl has NO potential love interests ANYWHERE.

EVIL IS NOT LIME, I REPEAT, EVIL IS NOT LIME!!!!

My #1 post of 2022

It has just occurred to me that of all the characters in Winnie the Pooh, the only ones that lack both fingerless stuffing hands and faint seam lines (the indications that someone is a stuffed animal) are Rabbit and Owl. Which carries the possible implication that Rabbit and Owl are just a normal rabbit and owl living with a bunch of sentient stuffed animals.

And somehow this makes Rabbit’s constant consternation with all of his neighbors even funnier to me.

Introduction from the Reclamation Project's Executive Director

A Letter for Readers of The Ohniaka III Project from Exec. Director Hugh

Before I begin this letter in earnest, I must tell the reader now that former Borg do not often prefer speaking for other former Borg. As principle, we value individual thoughts and voices in the highest regard, and even revel in declaring this sentiment to others upon introduction.

With this pre-amble concluded, to the xBs that visit this Archive: I thank you for allowing me this opportunity to speak for us regarding our people, our intents, and our livelihoods.

And to those untouched by the Collective and wish to learn more about the Liberated Borg Cooperation, the Reclamation Project, and the xBs who claim Ohniaka III as their home: welcome.

May spontaneity guide you, agency lead you, and clarity wizen you.

Perhaps you are surprised at the verbal eloquence already in this letter, coming from an xB. Individuals who, upon their first instances of Reprisal, can hardly speak or choose words without the Collective's sudden, near-painful absence. I tell you in earnest; it took many years for me to be able to speak the way I am able to now.

xBs are a people of paradoxes.

We take unity in that fact we have all come from a singular, traumatic Oppressor that bound us to a half-life of collective consciousness. This is our common factor. This is what binds us as xBs. We were once many, we were once each other, and now we are not. The augments that litter our skin, the implants that can be shed, replaced, repaired, and even removed; this is the common factor, the unity- that we carry as individuals.

Yet in that common factor, in that unity, we find fractals of our experiences. Divergences. Variations, in our emergence from the Collective. "Divergence, variation, fractals:" these are all words the Collective hates, in relation to itself. It will gladly take lives and societies these three words embody and add to the Collective's own mass, certainly, but never apply it to the billions of bodies it inhabits and utilizes. But we, xBs, are are all separated differently, speak differently, and yes: even act differently. What a joyous sensation it is to explore the self and discover habits, likes, dislikes, and yes: even words, in the comfort and camaraderie of those like us.

We find comfort in the company of those who share our past trauma, yet delight in the people we are now. This, eternally, is the mission of the Reclamation Project: to give xBs a new beginning in this life guided by those like them, and to let them live as their whole selves in the Cooperation.

The Reclamation Project's motto is a simple one: "Know Thyself." It is to compliment the Cooperation's motto: "Individuality's Needs, Community's Many;" for one must know themselves (at least partially) before being flung into the sometimes-overwhelming world of individuality: of singular life as we know it now rather than the mass of the Collective.

I recall a specific phrase from my speech given at the Atlas Project's Midway Gala opening ceremony eight years ago to a mostly Federation/Starfleet audience. I will allow myself the indulgence to repeat it here, in writing, with the hope of leaving you with the same optimism I had then:

"I am no longer Third of Five, and yet I carry him with me every day of my life. For I have learned not to rue what I once was; instead, I celebrate what I have become, in spite of the drone I once was. Every xB you meet is no longer part of the Hivemind they were once taken or subjugated to be. They are, instead, a person; an individual, just as any sapient being experiences life and learns from it. And those individuals who gather together, in clarity-given agency and free will, to help others like ourselves become their own individual: that is what the Reclamation Project is. We strive to ‘Reclaim’ what was taken. Reclaim lives, personalities, existences, homes, families; and it is a ‘Project:' because our work has no definitive end. Just as we ourselves are, forever, works-in-progress. It shall be a ‘Project’ so long as the Cooperation exists, so long as the Collective may exist: and so long as there are those who will resist against it."

These words, despite their age, remain true, and unfortunately we must continue to remind those who visit us or interact with us these same basic principles.

I offer you a parable that we have begun to speak. "Start, from your beginning, like all xBs do; wherever that beginning may be." No matter what their lives may have been before the Hivemind, all former Borg have a point of beginning, once severed from the Collective; it is when their lives begin in earnest. So too do adventures, endeavors, people, and stories all have beginnings, and I am merely grateful to welcome you as you begin your journey into learning more about us.

We wish you peace. We wish you prosperity. We wish you see us as no longer Borg.

Most of all, we wish to live. And that, above all, is treasured beyond all words to those who did not truly live before.
