something I keep coming back to, because other than 'ok but what about this canon divergence --' what I apparently really dig into is stupid world building details, is like.

how does the list of 10,000 actually uh. handle di feisheng coming back and being around again.

like he was the second ranked guy, right, Li xiangyi was top ranked, both of them "died", congratulations number 3 you're now top of the jianghu, everyone automatically moves up two ranks! ranking fights continue as normal, the three saints duel/kill their way up to the top eventually, all is gucci in the world.

except uh, a decade on, di feisheng is... actually not dead, was never dead, and also, he clearly beat Li xiangyi (because Li xiangyi is dead and di feisheng is uh, not), who was the last guy in the line of combat succession top ranked guys, making di feisheng presumably Top Ranked in terms of 'beat the guy who beat the guy [etc] who was top ranked'! no one has beaten di feisheng, therefore he is still, presumably, the top ranked guy because he hasn't uhhh actually lost a fight about that.

but it's been a decade? everyone else has spent ten years fighting the line of combat succession that forked from the guy who was number 3 a decade ago, and who does not fall into the line of direct combat succession for top rank at all, on account of the two idiots apparently taking each other out/mass rank promotion incident in the east sea.

basically: are there a lot of arguments in the jianghu about who's Actually top ranked, because like. on the one hand, fuck you, you can't walk away for a decade and waltz back in at number 1, snooze you lose, and on the other hand, fuck you, he's never actually lost! therefore he is undefeated in rank, therefore he's the top ranked guy!

(everyone gets another headache when it turns out Li Xiangyi is also still alive, because like, ok, now there are three people who have all been thought to be top ranked, who the fuck do you have to beat to be Actually For Real The Best)

illadvisedly been reading LU fic again and boy has the fic scene only gotten weirder about the leader thing

#the core conceit is that these are all singularly competent and accomplished heroes #awkwardly forced to work together and collaborate #the whole idea that time is ~ obviously the leader ~ is such boring nonsense #like Yeah i can see why it would shake out that way in the comic but in these fics people straight up take it as far as time outright orderi #ordering people around and being honestly mean. and it’s written off as ‘well obviously they’d all listen to him’#and like. okay for 1) with the exclusion of four all of these guys did their adventures independently. ft. fun sidekicks sure but they are #incredibly skilled individual fighters and experienced travelers #2) uh. nothing about time other than him arbitrarily being the oldest (bc jojo thought it would be more interesting - he never appears at #this age in canon) would make him an inherently better leader. he isn’t even the most experienced out of any of them #NOTORIOUSLY the hero of time is one of the youngest and wrapped up his heroism by the age of 12 #if anything either warriors or four would be the best to formally lead (literal military captain and Guy Who’s Whole Adventure Was About #Teamwork). and 3) i don’t even really care about any of 2 i just think they don’t NEED a single leader like this much less that they would #pick one. they’re all stubborn little shits. they’ve got there little cliches and generally all like each other but fundamentally links are #just. not the type to fall in line in a hierarchy.#the best take on the leader problem in fic is usually ‘yeah whoever’s world this is is in charge to get us somewhere safe 👍’ and like #group consensus. i Get the level of respect time gets as ‘leader’ in the comic but fic wayyyyy over extends it (as a result of the scope #being bonkers bigger) but sincerely i think it’s incredibly stupid and ooc to write them as falling in line behind a Single Guy regardless #of which guy it is. and let’s be real it’s only time bc ocarina of time is the single most influential zelda game #idk. jay’s LUposting while halfway through an assignment again 👍#text✨#admittedly yes you do need someone to make Final Decisions on things. that is not the way most fics write time though #(to his and EVERYONE ELSE’S detriment. stop making people boring. let them fight about what they’re going to do more. time would be waymore)#interesting if people actually address the whole ‘he’s the oldest so he’s in charge’ thing as it really is: everyone mistaking him for Super #Skilled And Talented when he’s spent the 30 years since he killed ganon farming in the middle of nowhere. and he’s just like haha yeah sure!#i definitely know how to coordinate 9 fighters with distinct fighting styles ! i can do that! <- guy who sends his wife on market trips bc #he grew up in a forest of like 5 total children and still thinks normal human adults are weird

If you are like me, you've been playing Roblox for a long time and wish there was an easier way than sifting through Roblox's front page to find new and fun games to play. If so, you're in luck! Welcome to the Roblox Review! A blog made for Roblox players of all varieties to find new games that interest them. In each review I will be highlighting a new game, giving my thoughts and information on what it is as well as a few sub-ratings and an overall one.

Hopefully this blog will help you find some new favorites!

If you have a favorite game that you would like to see reviewed, please send the name of the game in an ask! (bonus points if you also include a screenshot of the thumbnail)

Requested games will shout out the asker in the review! If you would not like to be shouted out, please send the request anonymously, or say so in your request.

The tags below are all of the ones you can use to navigate the different parts of this blog! (hit keep reading for an explanation of each one)

tower defense games: Strategy games where the player places down defenses against an opposing force.

donation games: Games that enable players to get robux from other players

story games: Games that are mainly about telling a pre-created story.

Vibe games: Games that are meant for players to meet each other and hang out.

other games: Games that fully or strongly don't fit into any of the other tagged categories

quest-completion: Games that have directed objectives that can or must be completed to progress the game

customizable elements: Games that have one or more heavily customizable elements. This might be significant avatar customization, a house decorator, or something else.

real game inspired: Roblox versions of popular real life games (could be sport, card, board or something else)

homestore: Roblox experiences focused on shopping(using robux), usually for original clothing

showcase: Roblox experiences that are explorable works of art.

paid-acess games: games you have to pay some robux for in order to play

microtransactions available: the game has gamepasses, currency or something else that changes the playing experience in some way that can can be bought with robux (games with donations and no other payable will not receive this tag)

fandom based: Games based on an existing external piece of media

Roblox-Review favorites: Games that are my favorite and have likely played a lot.

The Review: At the end of each week there will be a summary of the games covered that week. A good resource for those who have pickier taste or don't want to check in more often.
