Nah, there is more than just parenting. I've seen child stars with really great parents and who had a really great support network but still ended up lost within the glitz and glamour of hollywood and the industry. You also have to give children agency in the sense zendaya success today is byproduct of her and the willingness to stay grounded, and to avoid the temptations of hollywood at a young age. Zendaya made really great personal decisions but also lucky for meeting people at the right time. Like she was lucky to have mentors in kadeem hardison ( a child actor himself but he was alsoon the different world) and tammy townsend who was on family matters as a teenager. Like its more than just parenting. Like her support network was pretty crazy and am industry betting against her for simply being black and still finding a way to succeed, is testement to zendaya in staying true to herself.

Bella had an unfortunate upbringing of sexual abuse and being the breadwinner. Disney really did abandon her and didnt really support her when she needed it ( which a common theme for many child actors) in addition leaked photos like stuff like that can be hard to overcome.

I just feel parenting is one part of a bigger picture when it comes to the success kf child actors.

It can be more than just parenting, I agree, but I kind of feel like good parenting def helps to lay the foundation and keeps many child actors grounded.

A lot of celebs (not all) who I've seen go off the rails have USUALLY been those who either came from dysfunctional families, families where they were pressured to be the bread winner to the family at a young age, a history of being an abuse victim.... whether in Hollywood, OR their own families etc.

So yea, while coming from a great family doesn't automatically mean that they will end up unscathed in this industry, I kind of feel like it def helps.
