roland as adrion .. i think i might cry. it'd be a really interesting swap considering adrion's forgiving/subservient nature contrasting with roland's harsher, more bitter one. we've seen roland hold grudges before and that was only regarding terrence leaving them to fight on their own against a fakejoker, so itd be definitely different seeing his reaction to sera's whole incident[s].

evil rei oh my god *keels over and dies*. the idea of ice claws is so cool- especially since he's based on some cooler tones [teal hair, bluey grey x-static costume] it works as a good contrast to volcan's fire.

vaughn and keon switching makes a lot of sense too [since theyre both super shady]. i do agree that while having to swap abilities might be unfortunate, it's pretty pertinent to the plot so it makes sense!

im thinking, is it keene and doc who switch? or maybe doc and kayden. since keene isnt super plot relevant? originally i thought leilah, but im pretty sure she swapped with william :]

also! for some reason, the idea of elaine digging up dirt and isen totally at remi's whim is the funniest thing to me because it's so odd yet so already in character for them. i picture elaine to dig up dirt cause she likes making fun of people secretely [with cecile]-- elaine and cecile are unironically such a great duo in this though -v-

heyaaa, so sorry for the late reply spex :( yea i think roland would be a little harsher towards sera and would have a harder time forgiving her compared to adrion but i think they’d at least be on good terms (especially after the u-mart incident) before sera returns to wellston. he’d show his resentment way more when they were in new bostin though, with evie being the one to go easier on sera because she didn’t want to lose her first friend.

tbh i was thinking of doc and kayden but it can change anytime if a more suitable character appears. if they were to switch, i think kayden would be a newly graduated nurse and darren would be a chemist who’s been working with william in spectre for a long time. kayden has to get involved with spectre some way through william tho, so i think he’d be william’s student/mentee or something? i also thought about going with the original storyline and making them date but kayden and william’s age gap and jane’s role being so ambiguous make things complicated. i’d probably switch kayden and doc’s ages if i were to go with that but i think the first case with kayden being william’s student works kinda better?? i’m a little unsure about this part so i guess i’ll have a more clear idea about them as the story progresses. oh and keene’s swap is probably nadia :) (the lie detector lady)

heheh yes isen and elaine’s swap is so funny to me too. isen just does everything remi asks of him and tries to flirt with her whenever an opportunity arises but remi ignores his attempts completely. i always imagined that she’d ask for sera’s old records from isen because he’s very good at this stuff but wants elaine to question her (idk why i just want that interview scene between them!). but what you said makes so much sense too, considering elaine looks down upon people a lot so she’d probably secretly make fun of people. i think in both ways, that scene would be a good insight on elaine’s character, revealing her prejudiced side. and yea, i love the cecile-elaine duo a lot here, they’re a little less mischievous than blysen (mostly due to elaine’s calmer personality) but they still care about each other sm :>

It’s been quite a while since I made one of these and my tastes have changed since I first started this blog. I’ve dropped a lot of podcasts since then and have started some new ones here and there. So enjoy this and hopefully maybe you’ll find something new to listen to!

Fiction/Story podcasts (still running)

Darkest Night- A horror podcast about a scientific research facility with a lot of dark disturbing secrets. this one isn’t super popular amongst the podcast community. But it’s incredibly well written and the voice acting is great. It’s not for the light hearted honestly it’s very dark and can be pretty chilling at times. Love the story line and how it all comes together. Highly recommend!

Rabbits- A PRA/PNWS podcast focusing on another journalist figuring out how a strange real world game is connected to her friend’s disappearance. I really loved the first season and I’m only including it in the still airing list because there’s been talk of a season 2. But this podcast was so interesting honestly. A lot of the PRA/PNWS pods are hit and miss (I love TBTP but don’t like TANIS) but this one was a total hit for me. I enjoyed the weirdness and the game itself.

The Bright Sessions- A podcast about atypical people go to therapy where everyone’s stories come together and they’re figuring out themselves, love, friendships, their lives. It’s so so so good and so well written! I love the characters so much honestly you have to give this a listen if you have no yet. It’s a really amazing podcast that features so many parts of life and all types of different people. Highly recommend!!

Welcome to Night Vale- A friendly desert community and all the weird happenings that occur all told by the wonderful Cecil Palmer. Okay this one everyone has listened to! You can’t get away from this one even if you tried it’s very beautiful and weird and just really good. I don’t listen to this one as much anymore but when I do I binge all the ones I’ve missed and still love it so much. Characters are great, most of the story lines are super well done and exciting, and the voice acting is A++!

The Black Tapes Podcast- Another PRA/PNWS podcast. A journalist and a skeptic deal with tapes focusing on ghosts, demons, and other spooks. Everything slowly begins to line up and things get darker as the plot goes on. Sooo since this one isn’t technically ending and I’m such a sucker for this podcast I’m still going to be listening for whatever comes next. I really loved the first season and second was pretty good the third fell short. Really short but that may change with whatever they have planned next. It’s good and exciting and I love the characters here as well. It’s a pretty good listen.

Spines- A podcast about Wren, and her quest to piece together her fragmented past and to find her lover but as the plot goes on there’s way more twists to the story that really impact Wren’s life. This is a pretty creepy podcast especially in the first few episodes. I really enjoy the plot it’s really interesting and you want to know more the more Wren tries to figure stuff out.

Eos10- A really funny podcast focusing on doctors on a spaceship and a criminal and much much more. I loooove Eos10 and I’m so excited because there’s been talk about the next season coming out soon. I’m so ready ahh! I really love this podcast it’s so funny and interesting and the plot has been great! I’m going to be relistening to it soon so I can get a refresh before this new season. Highly recommend!

Limetown- A journalist trying to figure out the mystery of a town that completely disappeared ten years earlier. This podcast is incredible. It’s so well written, well acted, and well done. It’s just great again if you haven’t listened to yet. (which I know plenty have) you have to listen it’s so good and exciting! Highly recommend!

Non-Fiction (I guess) Podcasts

Astonishing Legends- A podcast about legends of ghosts, cryptids, and much more. The hosts are really interesting and funny and have a lot of great stories to tell with each legend. It’s entertaining for a subject I find so fun and interesting!

The Adventure Zone- A new podcast I started a little while ago. It’s a podcast from the McElroys and it’s a hilarious D&D podcast that I highly recommend you listen to for some good fun!

Jenna + Julien Podcast- I love Jenna Marbles and Julien so I had to give this podcast a listen. its so so funny and great and random but so good! It’s a nice podcast to listen to when you want something fun and chill. Jenna and Julien are so funny with each episode and talk about some interesting topics and fun games its great!

Enemies: OK idk if she should be enemies with the Shelbys after they beef her family and kill her father, or if she actually wanted them to kill him??? So I’ll leave that up to you; though I’d love her to have a hate\love relationship with them and especially Michael, where she likes him for all the wrong reasons.

Boss: Though he never involved her in any gang activities, her father is her boss; anything she does, wants to do or dreams of has to be run and approved by him. Or at least that’s what she makes him think. If she was ever to do any ‘jobs’ she would definitely be loyal and work for her family.

Backstory:

Eleonora’s mum (Jeanette) and dad (Luca) met in NY and fell in love, but interracial relationships were extremely stigmatised, so when Jeanette fell pregnant, he moved her to London, where she gave birth and relocated permanently. Ele’s mother ‘works’ (not that she needs to, Luca maintains her well) for Alfie, where she passes as a single black mother to cover up her real identity as Luca’s love. Ele’s father and his family absolutely adore her, but refuse to bring her to the US permanently because of the higher dangers with Al Capone, and the discrimination she and her mum might face because of their mixed-race relationship with Luca (he might just start a killing spree otherwise).

Ele grew up being trained to kill by her dad and occasionally her grandfather; she begs to be involved in the gang, although her family refuse to let her do any work related to that.

She brings the party wherever she goes and is extremely fun to be around, but doesn’t open up to anyone but her mum about her feelings, emotions or even issues, though most of the time she just deals with it all herself. She has a very stable and happy life, so good that she hates how boring and easy it is to get things, so she rebels, completely ignores any instructions from her father and does whatever she pleases anyway. As a child, Eleonora and her mother would go to Birmingham and sneak to see her grandparents, and though people saw her here and there on the streets a few times, no one knew she was related to them. Before going to surprise her dad, she hadn’t been to Birmingham for about 7 years.

Shadowhunters/Percy Jackson Crossover anyone?

Ah, I have the self-control of a little child in a candy-store when it comes to fanfiction. I know. But whenever I finish a story, I get this itch to start a new one. So, the current thing I’m working on is a crossover between Shadowhunters and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Because what’s more fun than writing for one of my favorite fandoms? Riiight! Writing for both!

And considering I already did one where Percy is a Shadowhunter and Nico is a warlock, it’d really only be right to also do the other version of a crossover between those two fandoms.

The general idea came to me pretty early on and I’ve been toying with it for a while now. Back when a friend of mine tried to explain to me what Idris is and where it is. That it’s technically located in the tri-country point between Germany, France and Switzerland. That made me eager because the whole “hidden from mortal sight” thing reminded me of Camp Half-Blood. So, what if Idris is just that - the European version of Camp Half-Blood. Because fuck if the USA are the only place with a camp for demigods, fuck if European demigods just get eaten alive because their mortal single parents can’t affort to ship their kids off to the US.

And the characters from Shadowhunters make it entirely too easy to find godly parents for them, so there’s also that.

So what if Magnus, son of Hecate, takes on a slightly different yet still rather similar role in the PJatO universe as he does in his own canon? Protector of “warlocks” - of children of Hecate. Those who refuse to live at camp and fight the gods’ wars. Living sheltered, with magical borders protecting them. And with that assumption, what if Nico di Angelo, as he was ten years old, angry, lonely and frightened... ran into Magnus and lived the years between then and the Giant War with Magnus?

And when Magnus needs help because his safe haven is being attacked by a mad man by the name of Valentine, he comes to Camp Half-Blood to ask his old friend for help.

So Magnus is out for vengeance for those Valentine has killed. Camp Half-Blood is glad to help. But they are not the only ones looking for Valentine. No, the European demigods have a particular bone to pick with the mand man and so Camp Idris sends a trio of Shadowhunters - as European demigods like to call themselves - to track down Valentine.

That much for the core-premise of the story.

“Six years, Niccoló”, mused Magnus with the mildest disappointment.

“It doesn't count as a whole six years”, grumbled Nico. “It was only a crush at first. I was ten when I met him, after all. I didn't know what romantic love was back then. But yeah. It's been years. So what? Percy is still in recovery after the wars. He's dealing with his PTSD, working through his problems. He... He deserves the time to focus on himself to get better.”

“That's very selfless of you”, sighed Magnus and shook his head. “Too selfless, silly little Ghost King. What if what he truly needs and wants is someone he can trust? Someone on whose shoulder he can lean on, someone to trust. What if that is what you are taking from him by being so 'selfless'? Maybe you should be more daring, Nico. Otherwise you will never win.”

“It's not about winning. It's about Percy's happiness”, countered Nico.

“Why can't it be both?”, chuckled Magnus teasingly. “A victory of the heart for the both of you.”

“Because we don't live in a damn Disney movie”, muttered Nico grumpily.

Magnus heaved a dramatic sigh and rolled his eyes. The moment was broken as Lou and Cecil crashed into the cabin with wide-eyes. Nico and Magnus both were instantly alert.

“What happened?”, asked Nico as they put their cocktails down.

“Intruders. Armed with glowy fancy swords. And Percy is kind of in a duel with one of them? Neither of them is backing down”, explained Lou while panting. “They're evenly matched.”

“Tattooed thugs, is what Annabeth called them”, offered Cecil. “Come.”

Magnus exchanged a concerned look with Nico. What if this was it? The attack from Valentine? They ran out of the cabin, following Cecil and Lou to the entrance of camp. What they saw gave Magnus pause. There was a long-haired young woman looking for all the world like a true Amazon as she wielded her whip, trying to fight Clarisse and Annabeth off at once. A gorgeous archer with dark hair was standing behind her, firing warning shots at everyone who came too close. He was delectable, tall, dark and handsome. What a gorgeous sight to behold. And as Magnus' eyes continued wandering, they were not disappointed either. Percy Jackson was indeed in a duel with another sword-wielding young man. Golden-blonde hair in an undercut, softly falling into his face, bright eyes sparkling with excitement as he fluently dodged and attacked as though they danced.

When Nico's anger rose, Magnus rested a calming hand on him to shush him. This was going to escalate if the son of Hades was also getting involved and that was just ridiculous. He lifted a hand, a bluish purple glow emitting from it and the next moment, all weapons were on the ground and the three strangers hung in the air. The two pretty boys stared at him with surprised anger.

“When will demigods learn to use their words?”, sighed Magnus dramatically as he and Nico stepped up to Annabeth, Clarisse and Percy. “I can feel the godly magic rolling off of them.”

“Wait. You're demigods?”, asked Annabeth suspiciously, turning toward the intruders.

The archer rolled his hazel eyes at her, scowl in place. “That's what we were trying to tell you before your guards attacked us. We're demigods. We come in peace.”

“You know what helps there? Not coming at us with your weapons raised”, growled Clarisse before she went on to scold the newbies who had been on watch-duty.

“Who are you?”, asked Nico wearily as he protectively stepped up next to Percy.

“I'm Jace, son of Apollo. Those are Izzy, daughter of Aphrodite, and Alec, son of Athena”, grunted the blonde. “We're Greek demigods from Europe. Camp Idris sent us to take care of... something.”
