Review: As the Wicked Watch by Tamron Hall
As the Wicked Watch by Tamron Hall My rating: 3 of 5 stars Susan Dalian (Narrator) did a good job of reading this, but I would have liked it better had Tamron Hall used her own voice. Still, it was too real for me. I really don’t like murder mysteries. Why can’t mysteries be more than that? Why make murder an everyday occurrence when, if you think about it, there are a lot of mysteries to look…

Name- Angel
Nicknames- Ange
Gender- Male
Age- 15
Date of Birth- May, 3rd
Height- 4'4'' (He smol)
Species- Blue Angel Slug (also known as Blue Dragon, Sea Swallow, or Blue Glaucus)
Weapons/Abilities- Ange is immune to poison/venom. He is able to absorb them to then use against foes. Venom is stored within pockets on his head and body, usually mixing with other toxins. Angel can then attack either using the cerata along his tail, his body, or fingertips (he can discharge at any time). Angel can manifest cerata on his head and back, which are translucent (and kinda glowy at night). Angel is able to breathe underwater.
Personality- Adventurous and loves to explore the unknown. Usually a true neutral, but also somewhat of a carefree goof. He prefers to sleep in the day and have fun at night (though being a mutant, that’s pretty much the life lol unless humans and mutants are co-existing somehow-). Ange isn’t much of a fighter, but can defend himself if he needs to.
I really don’t have much of a background for Angel, but he was stolen from an traveling aquarium that made international tours. He stung his captor and fell into a puddle of mutagen before getting swept into the ocean where he lives in a cozy little cave in which the only entrance is from underwater.
Voice- Susan Dalian (Voice of Haku from Naruto) Other/Facts- - IRL Blue Angel Slugs, like other slugs, are actually hermaphrodites. - Blue Angels store venom from other organisms, primarily Jellyfish (the Man O'War/ Blue Bottle mainly), in their cerata ( the 'fingers', they have 84 total) which is combined with other venoms (creating a super venom? I guess). - They float upside-down in the ocean in order to camouflage from predators or to hunt. Their backs, a silvery gray and a patterned blue underside. Though, for Angel, he's primarily blue with white spots. -Ange can't stand overly salty foods and prefers softer foods in general. He cannot stand spicy food at all.
___________________________________________________
The moment I saw a Blue Angel picture for the first time, I HAD to mutate it lol
I'm not sure where he'd fit in exactly, but he is a Next Generation character. Originally, I was gonna make his eyelashes glow too but, I think he's glowy enough-

An anonymous bidder has agreed to pay a record $4,567,888 at an annual charity auction to have a private lunch with Warren Buffett, the billionaire chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
The winning bid, which was submitted during a five-day online auction on eBay that ended Friday night, was nearly one-third higher than the previous record $3,456,789 bids in both the 2012 and 2016 auctions.
Proceeds benefit the Glide Foundation, a charity in San Francisco's Tenderloin district that serves the poor, homeless or those battling substance abuse.
Buffett, 88, has raised about $34.2 million for Glide in 20 annual auctions, which began in 2000 and moved to eBay in 2003.
His first wife Susan, who died in 2004, introduced him to Glide after volunteering for the charity.
"Mr. Buffett is thrilled. We just spoke with him," Glide President Karen Hanrahan told Reuters after the auction ended. "Mr. Buffett is committed to continuing the auction as long as he's able. He has been a thought partner in thinking through Glide's future, and how to set it up for the next 50 years."
The winning bidder and up to seven friends can dine at the Smith & Wollensky steakhouse in Manhattan with Buffett, who says he will discuss anything apart from his next investments.
This year's auction drew 18 bids from five bidders.
The top bid would also be enough to buy 15 Class A or 23,137 Class B shares of Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire, whose more than 90 businesses include auto insurer Geico and BNSF railroad.
Past auction winners have included hedge fund manager David Einhorn of Greenlight Capital in 2003, and Ted Weschler, now one of Buffett's portfolio managers at Berkshire, in 2010 and 2011.
Glide's budget goes toward providing roughly 2,000 free meals a day, shelter, HIV and Hepatitis C tests, job training, and children's daycare and after-school programs.
"What it means to us as an organization: It's huge," Hanrahan said, referring to the auction. "It's going to help many many thousands of people in this city."
According to Glide, these bidders have won its auctions:
2000: Pete Budlong, $25,000
2001: Jim Halperin and Scott Tilson, $20,000
2002: Jim Halperin and Scott Tilson, $25,000
2003: David Einhorn, Greenlight Capital, $250,100
2004: Jason Choo, Singapore, $202,100

Nova York *S&P 500 Futuro (EUA), -1,54% *Nasdaq Futuro (EUA), -1,68% *Dow Jones Futuro (EUA), -1,40%
Europa *Dax (Alemanha), -2,79%% *FTSE (Reino Unido), -2,35% *CAC 40 (França), -3,43% *FTSE MIB (Itália), -3,36%

4. Coronavírus no Brasil
The price for lunch with Warren Buffett: $3,300,100
(Reuters) – An anonymous bidder has agreed to pay $3,300,100 at auction to have a private lunch with Warren Buffett, the billionaire chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.

The winning bid came near the end of a five-day online auction on eBay to benefit the Glide Foundation, a San Francisco charity that serves people who are poor, homeless or battling substance abuse.
It was the third highest price in the 19 years Buffett has offered lunch, near the record $3,456,789 bid in both the 2012 and 2016 auctions. This year’s auction drew 136 bids from just six bidders before ending on Friday night.
The auction helps cover Glide’s $20 million annual budget, which goes toward providing roughly 750,000 free meals, shelter, HIV and Hepatitis C tests, job training, and children’s day care and after-school programs.
“Glide really takes people who have hit rock bottom and helps bring them back,” Buffett said in a statement.
Buffett, 87, has raised $29.6 million for Glide through the 19 auctions.
His first wife Susan, who died in 2004, introduced him to Glide after volunteering there. The Reverend Cecil Williams, 88, Glide’s charismatic co-founder, remains a minister at its affiliated church.
“The $3.3 million is an extraordinary gift, not just the money but the fact that Warren Buffett lends his name and reputation and shines a light on the work Glide does,” Glide’s president, Karen Hanrahan, said by phone. “Demand for our services is skyrocketing, in this city of innovation and wealth.”
The winning bidder and up to seven friends can dine with Buffett at the Smith & Wollensky steak house in Manhattan.
Buffett will discuss anything apart from what he might invest in next.
Ted Weschler, a hedge fund manager, paid a combined $5.25 million to win the 2010 and 2011 auctions, and later joined Berkshire as one of Buffett’s investment managers.
Berkshire has more than 90 businesses in the insurance, energy, food and retail, industrial, railroad, real estate and other sectors, and also invests in companies such as Apple Inc, Wells Fargo & Co and Coca-Cola Co.

According to Glide, these bidders have won its auctions:
2000: Pete Budlong, $25,000
2001: Jim Halperin and Scott Tilson, $20,000
2002: Jim Halperin and Scott Tilson, $25,000
