In New Super Mario Bros. U/Deluxe, there is an extremely simple and efficient way to obtain infinitely many extra lives with two players. For this, one of the players must be in the Super state (Luigi in the footage) and one in the Mini state (Mario in the footage).

The Mini player must pick up the Super player and then perform a Spin Jump on a Koopa Troopa passing underneath a ceiling that is 3 tiles away from the ground. The heights of the character stack and the ceiling match perfectly so that the Mini character is able to bounce off the Koopa Troopa many times per second, racking up an extremely large amount of 1-Ups very quickly.

Wow, you guys blew me away!

The response to my last Mario post was so immediate and so overwhelming that I just HAD to give you more!

This time with some hugs, because I committed a crime by not including some brotherly hugs in the last post... and some more angst! Because too many people walked away from that post unscathed! :D

Also I apologize if not being able to read what the brothers are saying is a bit annoying.. I liked the idea that during tender moments or casual conversation, Mario and Luigi speak in Italian with each other. And I didn’t want that aspect to be lost in my work by just writing in English.. (aside from the last one lol-)

But hey I provided some Italian to English translations at least! <:D

EXHIBIT A:

superstar saga

luigi disguises herself as princess peach in order to fool cackletta and bowsette (and seems to be enjoying herself)

probably the most well known!

EXHIBIT B:

super mario adventures

luigi wears a dress twice in this series, once as a nurse and again as princess peach, even stating that she "likes it" when she wears a dress. (and that little sweat drop....she's nervous to admit it.........)

EXHIBIT C:

superstar saga manga

luigi is again shown in princess peaches dress (and enjoying it alot) (like look at those eyes) and also as a maid! (interesting!)

EXHIBIT D:

new super mario bros U deluxe

the item description references luigis disappointment that she will not be able to use the super crown. (a power up used by toadette to become peachette, giving her a dress and feminine body)

In New Super Mario Bros. U/Deluxe, Mario will keep sliding as long as the ground below him is sloped downward, even if he passes a point that raises his elevation by a small amount while doing so. The result of this, as seen in the footage, is that Mario can keep sliding indefinitely as long as he is sliding on blocks that are slightly tilted in the direction he is sliding.

The blocks can be arranged in such a manner that they collectively create an upward slope, but as long as each individual block is sloped to the right, Mario treats it as a continuation of a downward slope.
