More Metadad AU, how did Meta Knight find out about Kirby and decide to adopt him?

I told myself I wouldn't draw a multi-page comic to answer this, and then wound up drawing two multi-page comics to answer this, because I couldn't decide which backstory I liked more OTL

I think this one fit my original intentions better, however, so here ya go:

All this to say, I envisioned Kirby as a sort of war orphan that MK picked up along the way and never did put back down :)

I MADE MY FIRST ANIMATIC AT LAST IT IS DONE

only had wrist strength for one finished drawing so the thumbnail isn't representative of the chuuya POV dazai-related angst actually in there. the animatic takes place between the cellar scene and the lovecraft fight but has flashbacks to a bunch of other stuff (with my little headcanon kisses <3)
