When he first met his girlfriend, her and her friends had walked into the convenience store he and Felix had walked into moments ago. Her and her friends were laughing and joking around together as they walked through the store. Out of the five of them that walked in, his eye immediately went to her. What drew his attention to her was her pale blue locs. He liked how beautiful the color looked on her.

One of her friends giggled at something she had said, “Y/N, remember that man that tried to sing to you at the gas station?”

“Don’t remind me,” Y/N groaned.

“What did he sing again? It was some Ginuwine song,” another friend of hers added.

“SooooOOOOOoooo anxiouuuuUUUUssss,” another friend began singing in a high pitched voice that was cracking. The pure randomness of the singing made the two friends start laughing silently to each other. They ducked down behind the shelf just so the group of friends wouldn’t see them.

“Y’all crazy. It was definitely So Anxious,” another friend added. The five of them began singing that song in that same constipated sounding voice together. The two men couldn’t hold in their laughter anymore.

“Now y’all got people thinking we’re weird,” Y/N murmured.

“Girl, they thought that outside when you decided to start shouting song lyrics randomly,” another friend of hers added as they continued walking through the store.

“What are you getting?” Felix asked.

“Some chips. What about you?” Changbin replied.

“Alcohol,” Felix grinned, heading towards the fridge. The other man chuckled to himself while his friend went off to find what he needed. Changbin put what he needed into the basket and moved to the next aisle where he found her staring at the candy. He felt kind of nervous going into the same aisle as you and he could feel his palms getting sweaty.

However, at least he could get a better look at her completely. Aside from the beautiful blue hair of hers, he noticed how she was at least an inch shorter than him with thick, golden brown legs that seemed to go on for days, a stomach that poked out a little, a round backside, large brown lips she was biting as she contemplated on what snack to get, and upturned eyes. She completely blew him out of the water with how gorgeous she was and he felt his mouth run dry.

“The other one is better,” he spoke up, garnering Y/N’s attention. He could feel his breath almost catch in his throat when she looked at him fully.

“Really?” Y/N questioned.

“Yeah. The other one is kind of gross,” he answered.

“Got it. I’ll take your word for it. Thanks,” she gave him a dazzling smile. He noticed a silver hoop that hung down over her teeth. He found that the piercing made her even more beautiful than he could begin to comprehend.

“No problem,” he smiled back.

“Anything else you recommend? I had something spicy earlier, but now I need something really sweet,” she told him. He scanned the shelf for a moment, looking for the perfect snack for her. She stood beside him patiently gazing at the current selection in front of her.

She was so close that he could smell her perfume. It was floral and it fit her so well. He loved whatever that scent was on her.

“Here,” he finally grabbed something off the shelf and handed it to her. Her fingers brushed against his and he could feel his breath hitch in his throat.

“Thanks for this,” she smiled.

“No problem,” he said.

“Do you mind helping me a little more? I’m kind of not familiar with anything and I don’t want to pick something spicy or savory by accident?” Y/N asked, smiling softly.

“Umm.…y-yeah. I mean—“ his voice cracked, “Yeah.”

She giggled softly at him correcting himself after his voice had cracked. She thought it was cute at the time while he was a little embarrassed by it.

“Look at her flirting with that man,” one of Y/N’s friends said.

“Excuse me. Can you help me find some snacks?” Y/N’s second friend imitated her “flirting” voice, batting her eyelashes. The other girls cackled like hyenas as they went through the aisle. They loved their best friend, but they also loved teasing her when she was flirting with the men she took an interest in.

Once she had everything, she thanked him for helping her as they both went towards the register.

“I never did catch your name. What was it again?” Y/N asked.

“Changbin. You?” Changbin answered.

“It’s Y/N. Thank you for helping me, Changbin. I really appreciate it,” she grinned.

“No problem. It’s the least I can do for someone so beautiful,” he said.

“You’re handsome yourself too,” she bit her lip. She was about to drive him crazy, biting her lip like that.

“Do you mind if I see your phone real quick?” Y/N smoothly asked. He took it out, catching onto what she was about to do. She did a series of clicks and types before handing him back his phone.

“Let’s meet up again. I want to thank you for today,” she said.

“Yeah sure,” he replied. She joined her friends who had now moved up to the register. The five women paid for their snacks then left the convenience store.

“Her friends are funny,” Felix remarked, coming up beside him.

“You talked to them?” Changbin inquired.

“They invited me to hang out with them one of these days,” Felix replied.

“She invited me to do the same,” the other man informed him.

“Good for you. She’s pretty,” Felix smiled.

After that day, the two of them met up and hung out together as planned. They continued to meet with each other for days at a time, texting and video calling each other in between that time until finally they started dating. It was a natural thing for them to do and their friends cheered them on.

@south-sea has enabled me to share my mini playlist for my crazy Metal Sonic longfic! I'm normally don't build playlists, and I can't say I'm particularly good at it, as this one definitely doesn't have a cohesive vibe, but I'm excited to share it anyway. I tend to focus in on the lyrics in particular rather than the sound of the music itself, so be prepared for some weird picks.

Journey begins below the cut!

"Over the game, rather be alone Think I'm gonna just stay home And make art, not friends"

This one is a strange pick, I do admit, but it's also the one most inextricably linked to my fic in my mind.

It's a very cynical song. The singer disparages the rest of the world as "suckers" and "yes men", expressing a profound disinterest with his current place in society. He sees himself as above the masses, but he's also very tired about it. Instead of fighting, he just wants to seek his own little corner of the world, perhaps with some of the few "good friends" he's able to find, and make art.

And this is VERY vibes for how I write Metal. Metal, at first, runs itself ragged trying to be superior to Sonic, trying to prove that it can handle itself on its own away from Eggman, trying to pursue its original purpose, but eventually it realizes that none of that is useful to it. It grows tired of trying to please the people of its past, and instead chooses to move on, to "change up the sound". And of course, the way it chooses to represent this is by repainting itself. Not just any old repaint, but a complete redetailing by a professional artist, chock-full of tiny, beautiful detail head-to-toe. Make art, not friends indeed.

"So you get yours, and stay outta mine Here's to the memories, where do I sign?"

These lyrics in particular are sooooooooooooo. Please imagine Metal saying this to Sonic. I don't think I need to explain this one any further. Next!

"You say the weight of the world Has kept you from letting go And you think compassion's a flaw And you'll never let it show And you're sure you hurt in a way That no one will ever know But someday the weight of the world Will give you the strength to go"

Whereas the previous song was almost, in a sense, "from" Metal's point of view, this song is addressed to it.

This song fits neatly into the midpoint of my fic, where Metal's at its lowest point emotionally, when it's not sure if getting to know other sentient beings would be worth its time, when it's not sure there'd be a purpose in life if it gives up its pursuit of Sonic. This song would basically represent a hypothetical "other person" in the dialogue of Metal's doubts, reassuring it that there are better things possible in the world for it.

A big thing that Metal struggles with in my fic is having a sense of self-worth outside of its intended purpose. A big theme in a lot of its internal conflict has to do with the idea of preserving one's self- does it deserve to get better? Does it want to get better, or would that destroy who it is? What does it have to gain? What does it have to lose?

But ultimately, it's going to be okay. The weight of the world will give it the strength to go. Onto the next!

"I am a question to the world Not an answer to be heard Or a moment that's held in your arms And what do you think you'd ever say? I won't listen anyway, you don't know me And I'll never be what you want me to be"

It's deeply ironic that this one's on the playlist, since it's a song about positive masculinity and my version of Metal is nonbinary, but it's about THE VIBES OKAY??? And this song's vibes are classic "rebelling against my dad" vibes. Which. Should be self-explanatory. This is Metal Sonic we're talking about. Themes of "you can't throw me away", "you can't define me" and "I want to define myself" come stock standard with this character, and are especially relevant in a redemption AU.

"And I want a moment to be real Wanna touch things I don't feel Wanna hold on and feel I belong"

I mean, are you seeing lyrics? I don't need to explain them. Next song, please.

"It seems that all my bridges have been burned But, you say that's exactly how this 'grace' thing works"

This is a very classic song about moral redemption, so of course it fits the vibes of this fic, even if it's a bit more, shall we say, twangy than the other songs on this list. The lyrics listed above are definitely the standout vibe, but there's also a lot of other emotions I like in this one. The singer is so uncertain in the face of turning over a new moral leaf, and I channel that sort of uncertainty into the quieter moments of my fic. Metal is pretty subtle about its moments of doubt, but the companion that it's currently with has started to pick up on them.

Another standout emotional moment in this song is around the 3-minute mark in the song, where the singer loudly proclaims:

"Stars, hide your fires! These here are my desires"

In this big, emotional, climatic moment of the song. The singer asserts himself as being worthy of redemption, and embraces himself and his emotions. Metal will have a moment like this in later chapters. It will finally assert itself as someone worthy of experiencing life as it sees fit. Self-actualization!!

And finally, for the last song, drum roll please-

You really should have seen this coming. I flip this one on whenever Metal is getting up to Shenanigans(TM), which usually means fight scenes. This includes nearly getting its ass handed to it by Shadow and ending the chapter in a dumpster. Good times!

Hi Luni! I've been watching kdramas for a long time and sometimes i think about what made me watch kdramas. The reason I watch Kdramas is that they are the ones that handle emotions well, that touch on individual and social problems, that character development is well organized and that friendship and family relationships are sincerely reflected. I also love that there are deep characters in the dramas who have insights and thoughts about life.  I really like the way some writers tell about life and people. I can't find these things in western dramas mostly.

And... I really love your artistic works. 😍😍 Because I'm also curious about your reasons for watching kdrama. Sorry I wrote too long...😅😅

I started watching kdramas in 2012 because youtube recd me a low quality version of the full movie always https://mydramalist.com/1814-always and i was so emo because of it and never felt such emotins for love before that i watched most of the other things with the main leads from that (disappointing can’t reach the level that was and is always). master's sun and the heirs were the ones that made me start making edits on here (in the dark past i was into sig..............i saw the light thank you) with a friend of mine and we were really into kim woobin and kim jiwon (and I still want them to be romantic leads in a drama like deep down in my heart that wish took root and won’t go away till they finally do it and they probably never will) anyway made all the people on here mad as fuck because of them and us... ngl good times I was really into the whole vibes that they gave me and no american show could reach that crazy level of madness for me. jiwon and woobin were soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sexy to me. kdrama-edits was my first sideblog together with her and the edits are terrible all whitewashed because that was the trend in the past....................had a period where i focused on animes/mangas/games/kpop because the kdramas were disappointing me terribly and i was not happy with the faves that i had in the past and what they chose to do.......... anyway 2016 was boring and afte that year till 2019 i only watched some kdramas and did not edit any of them but in 2019 i was done with gaming on here i still game tho just not edit it anymore so i came back wtih this blog and started making edits of kdramas again. 

anyway it’s mostly about chemistry for me with kdramas and the actors in it like that’s what’s keeping me to kdramas. the chemistry. stories too but like the chemsitry is what makes me go wild. and pretty actors but mostly the chemistry is the key factor. story too. but mostly what’s important to me (and i cannot stress this enough) is the chemistry between characters and actors. 

western (american/european) media is sooooooooooooo fucking boring with what they think romance is because it means nothing to me the way they cannot make me feel anything at all is amazing on itself. hate the shows they produce and they put sex in there but it’s so unsexy to me and a turn off like the way they do so much with sex but it’s just not feeling right and earned and it feels cheap and terrible. since a decade their romance stories cannot make me feel anything at all. they don’t even do romance shows or cast actors with chesmitry together like it’s only superhero/comedy/driving/disney/funny/starwars-remakes like watching the sky is more exciting than that. and the way they put in the same 5 famour actors in everything.............and their pretentous award shows. and the shows they produce (doesn’t matter the channel or network or net/flix or hu/lu or whatever) like plssssssssssss i don’t need them being pretentous for doing the bare minimum and re-using the same plot over and over again. also the way the male characters aren’t allowed to show weakness or emotions and when they do it gets treated as a joke is also really not it for me. and the women in them are also not written in a way that i enjoy them. anne/withane was great but they cut that one like they always do. that’s also a thing with the fucking people here they make seasons and seasons till the show sucks or they cancel good shows for low ratings like ok...... i wouldn’t willingly watch a western show again like noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo you would have to pay me a loooooooooooooot for me to watch a western show. and since no one does that i am good.

Why I Got Braces for Fashion, Not for teeth alignment

My Dentost: "Awwhh why aren't you gonna cOnTinUe wItH yOuR bRaCeS"

Me: I didn't even get them to straighten my teeth, I literally just got them for fashion."

The rest of the convo sounds like this:

And basically it continued like that.

I have spaces between my teeth and honestly, they've never been a personal issue of mine, but they were always a target for bullies while I was growing up (along with my weight "-___-)

I never had the opportunity to get braces as a child since they're annoyingly expensive and nobody got time for that.

My whole life I was told I was pretty despite my teeth and once J.Cole dropped "Crooked Smile" that was it. I was totally encased in self love when it came to my teeth.

Now I'm here to advocate for those who can't or don't care to get braces. For those born with missing teeth or who had teeth knocked out and have a cap that's always falling out.

There's nothing cosmetic you can do to make yourself look beautiful, because without those things, you'll go back to look like you did before you did them.

You get fillers, they drain out your body now you look like you did before.

You get braces, if you don't wear your retainer they'll shift.

You wear makeup, that makeup washes off.

If you don't love how you look without enhancements

You'll never be happy.

Trust me, I've watched girls suffer from destructive eating disorders and inject silicone and all types of crazy stuff in their body,

literally DESTROY their bodies in an effort to obtain a false image of themselves.

It's not healthy and it never has been.

Can we just start loving real features please?

I’m interested in your opinion. There’s an extra something in chapter...12? Which I found a bit unnecessary and so cheesy it gave me second hand embarrassment,  but I also got like 3 seconds of one of my fave characters so that’s okay XD Ahahahaha! That aside, I can’t think of other things except the ending.

The new ending, Jaz. The new Insomnia. Prepare two pairs of panties because the ones you’re wearing will be RUINED, the new Insomnia is fantastic! Or so I think, but that’s just me being an ABSOLUTE MUFFIN with no sense of finding things wrong or bad and enjoying of everything ahah :’D Not gonna spoil anything but a little tip! Make sure to finish Cor’s quests before you get anywhere near the entrance of the Citadel or you’ll miss a cutscene!! ;A;

Actually, since I took it up from chapter 9, I haven’t finished ZOMG :O I did finish once to see the new Insomnia,, but I wanted to get there eventually instead of from chapter select, so I grabbed it from ch 9 again, but went in strict chronollogical order...so you can imagine how many weeks I stopped at Comrades XD

I wanted to like...finish literally ALL Comrades before continuing onto chapter 14 of the game. And I did! Finished Comrades...but then DA:I got in the way :’D

After Wicked Hearts, I’ve focused in side quests because that’s me omg I can’t go on in the main quest if I don’t finish everything else because otherwise I feel it’ll never be available again ;w; 

So I explored and complete the whole of the quests at the Hissed Wastes (just gotta find 2 pages of a diary and fight the dragon), and I’m midways through the map and the quests of...not sure of the name in english, so I’m gonna try a direct translation, the Emeral Tombs? Like. The forest south where Samson hides and all. YEP. Wanna finish that and find Samson to give him to sweet Commander McDork Cullen before I move on to find Coripheus and the Eluvian in the forest and such aklsjdlkagj kldag

THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EPIC, HONEST TO THE GODS, JAZ, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST EPIC STORIES I’VE SEEN AND PLAYED. IT’S SO BADASS AND COOL LIKE ZOMG

I still can’t get over the attack at Haven and the moment at Adamant (?) where the bridge collapses and you RUN AND YOU GO AND EVERYONE IN THE PARTY RUNS AND YOU THINK THEY’LL MAKE IT THEN YOU ALL FALL INTO THE ABYSS OF DEATH AND INTO THE FADE!?!?!??!?!

Poor angel, cinnamon roll, didn’t deserve to die :( Honestly I didn’t want either to die, but I picked Stroud because I guessed if I killed Hawke, Varric would be depressed and VARRIC IS BABY NUMBER ONE, PROTECC AT ALL COSTS ;A;

So yep! Ever since my update of Wicked Eyes, I’ve finished Varric’s quest at Valamaar (his new tarot card is a JEWEL, HE’S HAPPY

They won't seem moved or bothered at first but know that the act of betrayal you did "destroyed them" but to cope most just move on and completely disengage from the error(you) and never look back. Once you lose them in that way? It's over. They have no problem sleeping with other people and remaining single and often then not them doing this is a coping mechanism. Femi Kuti has issued a statement denying claims that he called out Charly Boy for becoming a gay rights activist.

Femi Kuti has come out to debunk the claims that he attacked Charly Boy on social media.

In a statement released by Femi Kuti's management, it says it is untrue the news going around that the singer called out Charly Boy for being a gay rights activist.

"Our attention has been brought to a post which was published on the Linda Ikeji platform on Sunday 22nd of July 2018. The post which is attached here alleged that our client Femi Kuti “took to Instagram to slam CharlyBoy for his newfound role as a gay rights activist”. While the post has since been deleted, due to outcry from members of the public who pointed out the error in the handle she was quoting as Mr Kuti’s, we will like to state that at no time did our client make any statements about Mr Charles “Charly Boy” Oputa on his social media accounts or on any other platform.

 "Mr Kuti’s handles on social media are all verified and there was no way the purported handle could have been mistaken for his unless there was malicious intent on the part of the author. For the records, we would like to also state that: 1.       Our client Femi Kuti respects individual freedoms and will never impose his beliefs on others or ridicule them for expressing theirs. He also respects Mr Oputa as a fellow creative and for his activities in speaking out for the under-represented and disenfranchised.

 "2.       We demand that an apology is issued to our client on the Linda Ikeji blog by the author of the post, as this issue has caused him emotional distress. Especially during a time when he is on tour flying the flag of Nigerian Afrobeat music in the United States. 3.       In this age of social media, members of the media should ensure that they take extra precautions before sharing stories or news which have the potential to cause injury to the reputation of others. It is important that we do not sacrifice our decency as humans on the altar of viral news and website clicks. We trust that the Linda Ikeji organization will let wise counsel prevail. Thank you very much," the statement read.

It would be recalled that Charly Boy came to his daughter's defense after she openly came out gay.
