no but i really wanted iris to like at LEAST fist fight with frost and caitlin about how they were both complicit in hr's death/iris' murder attempt. before anyone says that it's no way caitlin's fault- does "caitlin, you can fight this! "i know, but i don't want to" ring no bells? caitlin gave up fighting frost's influence and that was a choice she made while fully knowing the consequences could end iris' life. i wanted the three of them to fight about it. it's no doubt cait and frost's guilt is part of what drove them away from team flash, but, for as big of a deal as it was, everything savitar cost them is hardly brought up. let the girls fight! let iris be mad that her teammate helped try to kill her, and really did help kill her friend! i mean, if we want to get technical with it, iris also helped to kill hr because she let him switch places with her. i just want it to mean something, narratively, even if it just ends up bringing them closer in the end, i want that bond forged through the blood on their hands !!

Olivarry:

They definitely have a mutual crush in canon. Barry shows up on the Arrow with a crush on the Hood and then that crush just gets bigger when he knows its Oliver. Oliver absolutely has a bit of a crush on Barry too at the start of the Flash, talking about how inspiring Barry can be.

They both think the other is so cool. Which, knowing their comics selves hate each other with the passion of a thousand burning suns, is so hilarious to me.

Really to me writing/reading this ship isn't a 'what if these two had feelings for each other' but more of a 'what if these two were emotionally intelligent enough to realize they have feelings for each other?' Oh these two heroes. So smart in some areas, such oblivious idiots in others.

Snowwest:

They were the only two female main characters on the show in S1. I assumed that meant they'd get more interactions than they did once Iris was in the know. But... yeah I was so wrong about that. Because the show writers could lampshade that Iris and Caitlin ought to have interacted and been better friends as time went on, but wow were the writers shit at doing anything about it.

That's fine, I can fix it. I can make them friends and create scenarios where they kiss and find softness and safety with each other that they just don't with the guys in their lives. Where their choices and boundaries matter and no one feels the need to throw away their lives for someone else's story.

I am, perhaps, a bit bitter about the treatment of these two characters over so many seasons. But that's okay. Snowwest fics are typically sweet enough to make me feel better.

Hello Flash fandom!

I’m sure you’re all well aware of the Snowbarry/Westallen ship war. I’ve been trying to think of ways to deal with this as a multishipper who's been a big fan of Snowbarry, WestAllen, SnowWest and their polyship for a while, as even fics seem to often have tones of bashing one ship over the other, or worse sometimes you can't even have content of one without it being attacked.

So, as part of my project for adults in fandom: I thought I would make a server and blog dedicated to harmony of all the ships that involve Iris, Barry, and Caitlin together in various ways.

What are we?

We are an 18+ server and Tumblr blog for multishippers by multishippers. No ship wars or anti-Candince bullshit here.

We feature:

- Channels for Snowbarry, Snowwest, Westallen, Snowwestallen, and adjacent ships (Like Savisnow, FrostWest, Flashfrost etc). As well as other topics that don’t involve a combonation of Barry, Iris, or Caitlin, though that’s our main focus

- A sprint/writing bot + Places to collaborate with other creators on your next fic or project!

- The Pipeline which features smut areas, a channel to vent about ship wars, the fandom's racism, and more.

- General areas for talking about things like gaming or sharing cool pics.

- Inclusive atmosphere.

Lab Fires and Coffee - Killervibewest

Cisco wonders why they've never done this before.

The three of them hanging out together outside of the looming threat of the city exploding or Barry dying hanging over their heads.

The taste of coffee lingers in his mouth as he watches Caitlin and Iris laugh in front of him.

"Wait no, so you're telling me you two set the lab on fire for science?!" Iris exclaims as she looks between him and Caitlin for conformation, a laugh escapes her lips as Caitlin nods and continues on with the story.

"Yes! Hartley was so furious at the time but it was totally worth it when Wells found out and was immediately chill with it and Hartley freaked out even more!" Caitlin giggles as the memory takes over and she shakes her head fondly as she leans back against the Jitters chair.

"It's all apart of the process, Rathaway." Cisco chimes in mocking Eo-Well's voice. Cisco laughs as he remembers the look on Hartley's face at the words, "Oh, he was so mad."

"Furious." Caitlin says before taking a sip of her coffee.

"Wow, I wish I was there." Iris responds as she raises her own coffee mug to her lips a wistful smile on her lips. Cisco clears his throat, "Well, maybe we could do it again?" He questions, eyes drifting between the two of them, Cisco watches as both of their eyes fill up with excitement and Caitlin sits back up in her seat.

"Seriously?!" Cisco only nods at Iris's question.

"I mean yeah, why not right? It's not like we've got anything better to do." He replies with a small shrug of his shoulders. Caitlin gives him a wide smile as Iris moves out of her seat to stand.

“Well, what are we waiting on? Let’s go!” She beams, already pushing her chair in, the coffee that she was slowly sipping on long forgotten. Caitlin gets up with her before she stops and motions towards the coffee table they were just sitting at.

“Hold on, who’s gonna pay for coffee?” The three of them look between each other before Cisco speaks up.

“Alright I’ll do it.” Iris smiles as Cisco begins to put cash on the table.

“Next time, I’ll pay.” She says, her feet already walking towards the door. Caitlin’s eyebrows raise at the words, “There’s going to be a next time?”

“Obviously! You two are fun to hang out with, and besides I’ll need to pay you guys back for blowing up Caitlin’s lab.” Cisco laughs as Iris walks out the door and gives Caitlin a shrug of his shoulders before following her, catching up to the other woman easily.

Cisco and Iris laugh even harder when they hear Caitlin shout from behind them, “We’re not blowing up my lab! Cisco! Iris! Not my lab!”
