hello? this goes unreasonably hard but i also kinda wanted my mental health and forgot that this is the episode where he hallucinates doing the "watch mumbo do his intro" bit

ok but a secret life au where after the Wither and warden in Ep.6 appear Martyn and Jimmy swap places. Nothing else changes.

Jimmy runs away, while Martyn is the one who goes to fight. It could just be them making different decisions, or Martyn telling Jimmy "no, go hide. I'm a better fighter than you anyway".

The main point is that Martyn dies, and Jimmy goes through the exact set of circumstances Martyn did: hearing the thunder strikes, fearing for his life and coming to the false conclusion that red's are being hunted, hiding in the cobblerooms. After the Wither is slain, he breathes a sigh of relief, and looks around for Martyn- just, for a second, forgetting- and finding a corpse instead.

Imagine Jimmy experiencing loss and mourning for the first time. Imagine him snapping out "I was sure you were hunting reds!" and being laughed at. Imagine him scratching out his name on that gravestone and replacing it with his closest allies. Imagine him burying the body, all alone, only taking Martyn's headband from the grave before shoveling the dirt back on top.

If we continue down this branch and say everything Martyn did, Jimmy did as well, that answers a lot of questions behind the actions themselves. He promises revenge, but can't bring himself to, because he's never killed someone purposefully (and he doesn't want anyone else to feel this pain.) He wanders around in a daze, unsure of what to do, almost wanting to die so he can at least feel something familiar.

Oh, and imagine Session 8- Martyn would be Grian's ghost. What else would happen? Would he make Grian join Jimmy? And don't even get me started on how the ghost became visible after the end of the session, and all the stuff that happened with Bdubs.

anyway fun little fact for writers: you can fill shotgun shells with rock salt instead of the lil metal balls (shot) and it will sting like hell or possibly blind someone if gets in their eye :D and if you want to be truly terrible (in writing) mix in spores/particles of disease. thank you to my father for answering my weird questions and it would also make sense for the mercs to have this for fun (they take turns shooting scout with it when he is unsuspecting and think it's hilarious. Medic doesn't really agree, except for the screams of pain)

ok I don't know what's going and why people are yelling about Taylor Swift but I just want to say that I listen to her music. I have an entire album of hers memorized.

Am I a Swifty? God no.

There are only three situations in which I listen to her music:

A random song of hers reminds me of a ship or plot I like, or there's a bit that hooks my brain.

My mother had an album cd (1989 to be specific) and played it on long drives when I was kid. I like to listen to it for nostalgia.

She's apparently done a collaboration with one of my favorite groups- I've only listened to it once, its mid, but it's really intresting to see the blending of their music styles.

Does this make me a bad person? I sure hope not. Yes, I think the name of the new album is stupid and ripping off Dead Poets Society, yes, I think she is a car artist and her songs sound better with wind static, and yes, I know about her jet plane. But she is also just a genuinely nice person as far as I know- she gave thank you cards to workers at a football stadium I think. Idk I don't really have an opinion, on this or many other major topics, and I'm tired of being forced to have one.

To her fans and haters alike: enjoying someone's music doesn't mean you have to make them your whole personality, and idolize (or demonize) them. That's just my take though idk I just really want these rant posts off my feed.

sometimes i hate working with minecraft skins. like...

what do you mean the red isn't red enough. squinting to tell the difference between two shades of blue (jokes on me they're the same). cool idea except pixels. desperately looking up refs and screaming inside when you cant find what you're looking for. putting on blue light glasses to try and differentiate the shades of blue. SHADING. SHADING IS SO STUPID. cool idea but pixels AGAIN. finally color picking the two blues and throwing your computer through a window.
