Radintia is a land of many things, but wherever one travels, one is sure to find evidence of an elven presence, either historical or present. In Garinthia, the elves created the foundations of a pluralistic monarchy which survives to this very day. In Onua, the elves reigned for centuries by uniting the disparate peoples not through notions of nationhood or ethnicity, but through geography and geopolitics. Even in the Flusslands, where a zealous hate of elves is a common belief shared by many people of all creeds, the legacy the elves left still lingered through their continuation of the slave trade and their unification of religion and state.
Only in the land of Silvalia however, could one find the very ultimate example of this. While the rest of Radintia was shaped by and prospered because of the elven institutions of slavery, magic, politics and religion, Silvalia was ruined by those same institutions. While the rest of Radintia adapted these teachings to their own ends, the Silval chose to adapt themselves to better apply their institutions. To explain this historical curiosity, one must look back on when the modern country of Silvalia was born.
The War of Two Dynasties started off as a civil war of the Neo-Elven Empire, but quickly expanded into a continent spanning conflict which created two highly different states. In the south, the Convallaria dynasty sought to unite their realm by allying with the Lesser peoples in and out of their kingdom and through working together with their nobility to create as stable a realm as they could. In the north, however, the Crysolophus dynasty chose the very opposite, brandishing their elven supremacist beliefs to dominate their Lesser subjects and attempting to unite their realm through zealous militarism and a radical religious fundamentalism.
It was this radicalism and abuse of authority which eventually lead to the Revolt of the Lesser, a singular event lead by the messianic prophet Nammarus. While the event birthed a zealous crusade against all elves, the leaders of the revolt prioritised the military campaign against the Crysolophus kingdom. Not because it was a larger military threat, but because the Lesser races of the Convallaria realm couldn't be united through military conflict given the political autonomy and rights they possessed.
The crusade against the Crysolophi was a success, leading to the religion of Fithellianity becoming the major religion of Radintia for all the lesser races, and adapted by even the Convallaria in their own synergy of elven and human beliefs. But despite their military losses and the establishment of independent human states within their former territory, the Crysolophi wouldn't ever admit their final defeat at the hands of the rebels, and neither did the Archbishop of Gratburg ever accept a complete fulfillment of the Fithellian proclamation.
The conflict between the states of the Flusslands and the northern elven kingdom would last centuries, but would also change from a conflict of extermination to one of realpolitik: the Flusslands sought to protect their feudal realms and to prove their support for the authority of the archbishop, while the Crysolophi sought to retain what remained of their splintering kingdom. But while the Convallaria dynasty were eventually overthrown by their own subjects, the Crysolophi were never defeated, only being snuffed out eventually by the hands of time.
As the last king of the northern kingdom died, his sons divided what remained of his realm and one by one proclaimed themselves the rightful heirs of their father's realm. But with a state already splintered under feudal duchies and princedoms, there was a need to unite these realms under a common banner in the absence of a ruling absolute monarch. So the identity of the Silval was slowly born over the centuries of conflict between the princedoms, in their attempts to unify the kingdom through force. By the time the Darelian dynasty unified the kingdom, the Kingdom of the North was long dead as a concept to all but the most hardened elven supremacists.
As the Fluss had only declined further without a real unifying threat to keep their states unified, the kingdom of Silvalia arose as one of the great powers of the continent on par with the Tsardom of Sarkova, the Great Duchy of Pervica or even their old rivals of the Convallaria in Onua. But unlike these states, Silvalia was still stuck in the past, its main enemies being its neighbouring states in the Flusslands and the dwarven clandom of the Altinboynuz Mountains, with conflicts being justified by ideologies birthed before the cultures and languages of Silvalia were even in their infancy. Silvalia, you see, was not unified through compromise like Garinthia nor through realpolitik like Onua, but through military conquest. This forced the kings of Silvalia to retain a harsh absolutism in their rule over the country: if the peoples of Silvalia were to regain their autonomy, the kingdom would once more splinter and be overpowered by its neighbours.
The burden of such a government fell on the peasantry, mostly consisting of humans. In a country were plentiful harvests were a rarity and political rights were considered a luxury, those in power were encouraged to abuse their lessers purely for their own economic survival. Despite attempts by the Fluss to proselytise the Silven, as they came to be called, these attempts failed after violent crackdown after another were ordered on any populations that were seen harbouring Gharnorist clergymen. Silvalia would be a state for the monarchy, ruled by elves and fed by Men.
As the realms of Garinthia and Pervica began to profit from expanding their maritime trade across the globe, Silvalia was left out of this by their geography. Though this wasn't without efforts from the side of the monarchy. Attempts were made in conquering the Wilde North, but these were left fruitless, as the trollish tribes simply could not be subdued by any weapons crafted by Men or elves or Dwarves. Thus, the lucrative trade routes to the Boreal Sea would remain inaccessible to the Silval and a sense of desperation began to grow among the rulers. If Silvalia couldn't retain its status as a great power, the kingdom would lose the confidence of its subjects and the Darelian dynasty would face the same fate as its predecessors. But this also allowed the ruling nobility to retain their dominance of the economy, with no real power ever rising among the merchant class.
Only when the industrial revolution saw its rise across the states in Radintia was Silvalia given a chance to surpass its rivals and move from a feudal economy to a capitalist one. While the Fluss hadn't yet united against the Silval, the centuries of continued war had proven, that even disunited the Fluss were too much for Silvalia to subjugate in any real sense. But through shrewd application of dwarven investments and Pervican know-how, Silvalia began to industrialise on a scale on par with their southern foes. The rapid economic growth wasn't utilised to turn Silvalia into military powerhouse or even an economic one however, instead only fueling the opulence of the monarchy and the aristocracy. The Silval people began to see their absolute rulers in a light that was much different from their divine autocrats of old.
However, this wasn't the end of the monarchy's troubles. The Flusslands had become engulfed in civil war, as socialists rose up against the authority of industry and nobility to rebirth the ideas of theocracy and equality and unify their lands under their red flag. While at first an opportunity for the Silval rulers to meddle in the politics of their enemies, the civil war eventually dragged on and turned to favour the rebels. With the remaining anti-socialist resistance eventually defeated, once more a unified and zealous Fluss state stood at the doorstep of Silvalia. King Paul III, seeing the clear threat of such a foe, decided to act sooner than later in an attempt to crush the still recovering nation.
Utilising the support of the Fluss exiles and the military assistance of the other states neighbouring the Flusslands, most believed this to be a quick war to end a state of terror fatigued by over a decade of civil war. But such an idea proved to be far fetched, as the Fluss people once more proved their mettle against the elves, and quickly mobilised against the existential foe attacking them. The war was over before it could scarcely even begin and the Silval forces chose to cut their losses and retreat. This event would come to be known as the Catastrophe National in Silvalia and fueled an already rising sentiment of anti-monarchism, unifying both the republicans and the nationalists against the seeming incompetence and extravagance of the cosmopolitan monarchy. Among this unrest rose one elf in particular, by the name of Francois Deumbra.
Deumbra had fought during the Fluss campaign and seen first hand the unity of the Fluss against a common threat as well as their will to fight for a cause bigger than themselves. Inspired by this and his existing hatred of the socialist ideology, he began to propagate a new ideology, one that would be built with anti-monarchism, anti-socialism and supremacism to create something larger than its parts. He branded his ideology Le Réjuvénisme, in reference to the rejuvenation of elven supremacism, and formed his own party to build a coalition of supporters for his cause. Deumbra and his supporters, working together with the republicans, organised an event that would be known as the March Of The Hundred, marching on the capital city and demanding the abdication of the king.
King Paul realised the very serious threat to his regime and chose to flee the country. While he would insist that he refused to abdicate the throne, he would never again set foot in his home country, and was dethroned in absentia. The united force of rejuvenists and republicans proclaimed the Silval Republic, using the old elven words for the equivalent of Halkisin to differentiate the Silval form of government from the Farelian one. While the Farelians chose to create a pluralist government, where all races could rule together, the republicans of Silvalia had no such goals, retaining the values of elven supremacism and racial hierarchy.
In this new status quo, Deumbra quickly arose not only among the ranks of the senate, but also among the common people, as his firebrand speeches which had spurred the revolution were now aimed at propagating his ideals of anti-communism and anti-liberalism, replacing the modern ideals with old elven supremacist ones and calling for the total eradication of the Fluss state as a concept. The republicans then realised what kind of a politician they had allied themselves in their desperation to rid Silvalia of its monarchy, but this realisation came too late. Deumbra's plans were already in motion and all attempt at unifying the opposition against him failed until there simply was no real opposition left.
Through political alliances, intimidations and raw charisma, Deumbra rose to the position of First Consul, only to turn his powers as the head of state against the state itself. By slowly subsuming other parties into itself, The Rejuvenist Party had enough votes to declare itself the only legal party within Silvalia and subsequently ended the free elections under which it had come to rule the country. Deumbra was given permanent emergency powers and the title of Le Capitaine, making him the de facto autocrat of Silvalia. The Silval Rejuvenist State, as it was now known as, soon made its goals clear: , claiming dominion over the former territory of the Crysolophus Realm, all notions of Dwarfísme, including socialism, halkisism and liberalism would be crushed, the Fluss state would be dismantled and subjugated and the elven rule over all other races would be enforced.
Foreign response to these claims was minimal, as Silvalia had always been seen as a backwards place of militarists and useful fools to pit against the Fluss. The United Fluss Communes, while taking this threat very seriously, were embroiled in a political clash of their own, with the decades long political status quo left after the civil war slowly crumbling, leading to a stagnation of government. Within the coming decades, as no united opposition arose against them, the Silval State would prepare for The Final Conflict for elven dominion over Radintia by adopting increasingly bellicose policies, occupying its smaller neighbours and transforming the country from a modern capitalist economy into a totalitarian racialist state, built only for war.
The ensuing conflict that would be called The Great War, the parties involved on each side, the reasons and events of the war would all require much more detail than is possible to go into here, but if something can be gleamed from all this, it's that one truth that lay at the heart of Silvalia. The land that was brought up by the cold hand of cruelty could not be brought to the warm light of freedom willingly, and thus the reaction to such a revolution of ideals had to be equally extreme. Had the Crysolophus chosen differently centuries ago, perhaps some of the bloodiest and most horrific conflicts in history could've been avoided. But alas, this was not to be.

Ignalor, The Volcanic Beaches
Smaller than Silvalia, but larger than Situs, Ignalor is an somewhat in-between when it comes to continent sizes. The Incaendium Matriarchy is the main government in Ignalor. Though once a powerful kingdom, their supplies have began to dwindle as they often help Silvalia with materials they need for almost free. Though they do not mind entirely as they are known for their hospitality as well as one of the hottest (pun not intended) tourism spots in all the land, The Black Sand Beaches of Ignalor. They now rely on heavy imports for food from Situs as well as materials from Ferrilum. This government is more leaning towards the magical side of the war, preferring it to technology. While they do not turn away customers like Silvalia, it doesn’t stop them from treating non-magic users poorly and inhospitable. Their elite force is renowned for their amazing ability in sword play and summoning magic, most often that of fire elementals. Their major export, though it doesn’t give them much revenue, is the fire based Vitreus as well as a few other precious gemstones.

Atelier Lydie and Suelle update:
I did not create new items for weapons, nor did I make new accessories. For many reasons, but the main one is that trait transfer in this game sucks. You can only transfer one trait until alchemy level 30. Then you get two traits. I’m assuming level 50 is when you can do 3 traits. To make this worse, there’s a max effect ranking that comes into play, that increases by 1 every 5 levels or so. Basically, I have no idea how this is going to work. Catalysts are important, yes, but the main issue I’m starting to take with the game is that there’s no one catalyst that fixes all the problems. I want to make more than one of an accessory? I need Cannon Fruit. But wait! I also need to get the highest rank of a specific category! How will we do that? Probably a catalyst that isn’t cannon fruit. And then there are the elements and planets or whatever to keep in mind, on top of certain spaces that are locked so you can’t place things there for virtually no reason. It’s fairly contrived and a pain in the ass. I really don’t care for this particular alchemy system, and so far, thankfully, I haven’t needed it much. I’ve got a decent assortment of items, and just use those to get through thanks to Corneria restocking us.
Which leads to a few things. Combat is pretty simple when you have items, but endurance contests are the hardest fights by a mile. I’ve fought a lot of S-rank quest beasts by now, and the hardest ones are always the ones with a lot of HP. High damage output? Not a problem. Even a lot of resistances aren’t too bad, thanks to the Break mechanic. But the ones that will take forever regardless because their HP is so massive? Those are the hardest ones. It also means that regular attacks suck, so anyone who isn’t an alchemist (which is apparently only Mathias, poor idiot) is terrible. Suelle is doing okay, but I’m also giving her all the boosting parts.
Oh yeah, weapons are weird. The weapons themselves cannot have traits, they just increase base damage and the like. I have yet to go beyond the base weapons, but I’m guessing with Silvalia unlocked, and soon Golt Aizen unlocked, we’ll be able to aim higher in that department. Instead, you get attachments. A main attachment can have things like skill cost reduction, skill power increase, and stat enhancements, while the sub-attachment can have things like follow-up skills and absorb damage. When combined, you apply traits they possess to the weapon. You can remove them to re-attach to newer weapons as needed, but even the attachments get improvements over time, which can lead to difficulty keeping up with which ones you want. It’s a bit over-complicated, and I’d genuinely prefer to have a system where it just has you create the weapon with what you want. But, given that you can only transfer two traits at a time, maybe this is an odd blessing in disguise.
I dunno. I like playing the game. It’s pretty simple, and characters are fun. I definitely like Lydie and Suelle a lot better than Firis (though maybe not as much as Sophie), and their returning cast of playable characters is solid. I just...don’t care as much about the alchemy system. It’s too much to keep track of. You have to attend to traits, to the size of the grid, the catalysts you’re using, the amount of each color the materials provide and how you place them, not to mention the timing of using alterations to materials can matter greatly in getting what you’re after. It’s just a bit too complex, I feel, and the fact that you can’t even transfer 3 traits this far into the game is kind of inexcusable. I’m enjoying it, an I’ll definitely keep playing a lot now that we’re at a point I feel I can make good equipment, but I don’t expect it to dazzle enough to become a favorite in the series.

Ship questions:
I answered for myself all the ship questions here. Be aware the setting is a mixed NRC AU, so Dalia does study there too~
All the answers under the cut!
PRE-RELATIONSHIP
How did they first meet?
Early on their first year at NRC, when they both joined the horse riding club.
What was their first impression of each other?
Silver did not think much of it, just another classmate. Noted that she was elegant and good at horse riding but not much more.
For Dalia it was the unconscious start of her crush. She did immediately think he was really good looking and gentlemanly. Looked strong too. She did not realize until a while later, when she just kept thinking that and wanting to be closer.
Did any of their friends or family want them to get together?
From Dalia’s side, Riddle is the first one to learn of her crush (he’s the only one she tells directly) and he does encourage it in his own way, tries to clumsily help her. Her other friends do figure out her crush eventually, and especially Kalim keeps asking her how it’s going and offering to help (which she politely declines since it seems like it would be a bad idea XD).
As for Silver, his crush period is much shorter than hers, but Lilia does notice and encourages it once he does (more subtly at first, but when he realizes Silver is not getting it, he’d be more direct). Once Riddle realizes Silver also has a crush on Dalia, he’d try to help here and there too. But he won’t be able to do much lol.
Who felt romantic feelings first?
Dalia did, much earlier than Silver. When she realized that her crush may be a bit more serious than she thought it was in the middle of their 1st year at NRC. Still, she did not try to do much and was happy being his close friend, because she was quite certain he only saw her as a friend (which he did for a long time).
Did either of them try to resist their feelings?
No. Even if Dalia did not act on them, she didn’t try to resist them either, just let them be there every time she was with Silver and just enjoy being close to him in that way.
As for Silver, once he understood what he was feeling, he also worked on getting closer to Dalia instead of resisting them.
If you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think?
Dalia would blush and say “I wish that were true”, since she wants that so much, even if she keeps it under control.
For Silver he’d be much more neutral and deadpan about it. He would accept the information but not react much one way or the other (since at this point he would only see her as a friend. But maybe it would kickstart him noticing her sooner and getting together earlier~?).
What would their lives be like if they had never met?
Dalia would’ve fallen in love with one of the other guys (some of the other ships I contemplated for her, maybe Cater, maybe Kalim?). In the end, her general life would not change much, except for who she’s with and what that changes.
Silver’s case would be similar, he would’ve just found some other person and lived his life with them instead.
Their encounter isn’t as much life changing as it’s them casually finding each other and enjoying the other’s company a lot.
GENERAL
Who initiated the relationship, and how did it go?
It was Silver. Once he was sure of his feelings, he got a lot of advice from Lilia and Sebek about how to approach it (which wasn’t that useful).
In the end, he decided to just plainly ask her to meet him alone, because he had to tell her something. Dalia was a bit hopeful but trying to not get her hopes too high because she was too used to him just seeing her as a friend and didn’t want to be disappointed.
But he gave her a really heartfelt confession about how she was really important to him and he wanted to protect her, make her happy and keep her at his side forever. Dalia was already furiously blushing during all that, but when he seriously said “I love you” looking directly at her with a soft smile, her brain just short-circuited.
The usually calm and collected Dalia tried to answer but was too overwhelmed so she stammered for a bit (enough for clueless Silver to worry that she wasn’t feeling ok today XD). Until she composed herself enough to say she loved him too in a small shy voice, still bright red.
When he gave her a big hug saying he was really happy, she thought she was gonna die(?).
Did they have an official first date? If so, what was it like?
Dalia likes the clichés and the traditional “relationship things”. So she casually mentioned it would be nice to “go somewhere together, sometime soooon~”. To which he just asked where she wanted to go. Not too romantic, but she’d take it xD
She ended up planning a cute date to a new trendy cafe in the town near NRC and they walked around after too~ She did make sure to say it was a date right at the start so he could not mistake it, though.
What was their first kiss like?
Dalia had been anticipating it for a looong time after they began dating. He kept giving her signals (not really) and she was so sure this was the day, and it never was. After realizing he was too respectful and quite oblivious to ever initiate anything, she was quite frustrated.
So the next time he gave her “a signal” (he picked up a loose eyelash from her cheek, but kept his hand there, gently cupping her face, looking intently in her eyes… come one, it was a clear signal!) she gently grabbed his face and closed the distance between them. It was a short and a bit clumsy kiss, but it was enough to change 2 things:
Dalia now realized that if she wanted something, she had to initiate herself. He was quite happy with anything as long as she was at his side happy, so he wouldn’t push for more. And Silver realized that being just next to Dalia was already really nice, but having her closer and closer, touching her and kissing felt even better. So he would kiss her randomly sometimes from then on too, hold her closer as well.
Were they each other’s first anything (kiss, relationship, etc.)?
It was the first everything for Silver.
As for Dalia, she had had some other relationships in the past. All of them short and not too serious, nothing much past holding hands and kissing in them. But this one was the first really serious committed relationship she had. And anything past kissing was her first time with Silver too.
What’s their height difference? Age difference?
Silver is taller by 16cm. They’re the same age, Dalia is just 4 months older.
What’s their relationship with each other’s families? Do they share a friend group?
Once they’ve been dating for a while, Dalia does take him back to her home in one of their school breaks. They all almost immediately like him and welcome him with open arms (they already heard a lot about how nice he is to Dalia and how well he takes care of her. Dalia did talk about him a lot even before they were going out).
At some point early on in their relationship, Silver does tell Dalia who his dad is. She is quite shocked but takes it well enough. Still, she’s always a bit tense around Lilia after that. Until he gets her alone one time and gives her “his blessings for the two of them” and tells her she shouldn’t worry about his approval because she already had it, since Dalia makes Silver happy and that’s all he can ask for. She does get somewhat closer to him after that.
As for friend groups, Dalia doesn’t hang out with the Diasomnia group too much, she also respects that Silver is “on duty” when around Malleus, usually, and doesn’t want to get in the way. But they do hang out with Riddle and Sebek at the club quite often. They’re both also friends with Kalim and Jamil (Dalia more than Silver tho), and after they’re a couple they do hang out with them more, together.
Who takes the lead in social situations?
Most of the time it’s Dalia. Silver is usually just quietly by her side. He knows she mostly knows what she’s saying and doing and lets her do it. But if something seems dangerous or she’s uncomfortable, he’d take the lead and make sure she is safe. She’ll get her out of a situation if needed too, making it clear why she’s taking her away (to the person who was making her feel bad, I mean. So they don’t try anything else).
Who gets jealous easier?
Definitely Dalia. It’s not that she doesn’t trust him, but sometimes if he spends way too much time with someone else, she’d feel jealous. Or if she realizes others are “ogling”/trying to charm him and he’s not realizing it himself nor stopping it.
She won’t bottle it, tho, she’d bring it up with him later, when they’re alone. Explaining how she felt, why and will try her best to find a middle ground where she can control her jealousy better.
Silver will almost never feel jealous. He trusts Dalia 100%, only has eyes for her too. And she knows how important her friends are for her and he’s sure her feelings are completely platonic with them. The only moments he’d feel jealous is if it’s a person who’s not a friend of hers, if they get too close or too handsy with her, he won’t like that and intervene. Make sure that person knows she has a boyfriend.
He felt really bad after the first time he did it, thinking maybe she thought he didn’t respect her or was too possessive. But Dalia assured him that not only did she really like it, but also she usually feels extremely uncomfortable in those situations so he saved her from it. Also, it’s so rare to see him jealous, Dalia was swooning xD So, from then on, he never stops himself from acting if he’s feeling jealous.
Who whispers inappropriate things in the other’s ear?
Dalia for sure. Not too often if they’re in public, but quite usual if they’re alone. Once they’re more comfortable with physical affection between them, she’d do this to let him know she’s in the mood or wants some attention.
Usually she’d say something he doesn’t get at first, and then she does it again but giving a detailed explanation of what she meant. That gives her a nice slightly flushed Silver and prompts him into action more often than not.
The few times where Silver does it instead, Dalia furiously blushes but loves it. She becomes a flushed mess but lets him do as he wants for the rest of the night.
LOVE
Who said “I love you” first?
Silver did, when he confessed to her. She did say it as an answer to his confession, though. So they just sweetly say it to each other from time to time if the mood is right.
What are their primary love languages?
Dalia’s are quality time and physical touch. Silver’s are acts of service and quality time.
Who uses cheesy pick-up lines?
It’s not something they usually do. But it’d be Dalia mostly, and in a joking way to try and make him blush (almost never works).
If Silver does use some, it’s because Lilia made him think it was a good idea and he earnestly says it (it was a bad idea and Dalia laughs a lot lmao).
How often do they cuddle/engage in PDA?
They don’t do any outrageous PDA. Usually they’ll hold hands when walking, or Dalia will hold onto his arm whenever she can (Silver thinks she wants to be escorted like a lady as she walks, holding onto his arm like that and does it really seriously. Dalia just wants to feel those arm muscles if she can xD).
As for cuddling, in public you’d often see Dalia curled half on top of Silver as he’s in a random place sleeping. But that’s as much as they’d do in public.
In private Dalia is much more touchy and gets much closer to him/cuddles close. He encourages it gladly, so it works well. (This is after they go past the awkward uncertain stage at the start of the relationship)
Who initiates kisses?
Usually it’s Dalia initiating. She realized she has to take what she wants, because Silver is quite passive with those things. He will take charge once she initiates, though, just needs that initial push from Dalia that tells him she wants to feel him closer.
The times when Silver initiates it’s usually when the mood is really romantic and soft and he goes for it really sweetly.
Who’s the big and little spoon?
It depends in which position Silver has fallen asleep in and what mood Dalia is in at the moment. Since she usually just moves his arms around so she’s the little spoon in his arms, or just hugs him from behind.
If they do fall asleep together, Silver would usually try and get her as the little spoon, hugging her close to him from behind. It puts him at ease to sleep knowing she’s safe in his arms. (Dalia does prefer to be able to hug him back too, but he’s so earnest and serious when positioning her to hold her from behind, seems so content when hugging her like that, that she always lets him do as he wants. Usually she gets to hug him all she wants anyway~)
What are their favorite things to do together?
Cuddle and sleep. Just kidding XD
They do enjoy horse riding together, they sometimes even ride in the same horse for a slow peaceful ride, since it’s “romantic” to do it that way.
They would also just casually hang together (sometimes study too). With Dalia explaining something or chatting, and Silver trying his best to stay awake, but he loves Dalia’s voice and it’s so soothing so he usually ends up falling asleep with his head on her shoulder or her lap. (She is more than happy with that, don’t worry).
After Dalia saw Silver practice his sword fighting a few times, she did mention to him that “it would be nice to learn sword fighting myself, it would be useful”. Silver was against it at first, because if she was in any danger at all, he’d keep her safe. But after a bit of talking about it and Dalia making him see that she’s safer if she can also defend herself, even if it will never come to it. Adding as well that “they’d be able to spend more time together…”, he agrees to teach her.
Slowly and carefully, and only with harmless weapons at first. After he realizes she’s a quick learner, agile and fast, he starts teaching her more seriously and they do spend a lot of time together with this.
He’s still much stronger than her, though, so she still reassures him saying “Of course I’ll always look for you first if I’m ever in danger <3”.
Who’s better at comforting the other?
Dalia is quite good at this in general. But, to be fair, they both don’t usually need comforting. They do take care of their problems in a straightforward way and they’re not too overly emotional.
Still, if any of the two does need comfort, they do find it in each other easily.
Who’s more protective?
Silver, of course. No doubts here. But he won’t overstep if Dalia has things under control. Still, he’d always prefer to have her close and know she’s safe at all times, it puts his mind at ease.
There’s not many instances where Silver needs any kind of protection, but Dalia will be fierce if it ever happens, for sure.
Do they prefer verbal or physical affection?
Although they both will say what’s important and reaffirm their feelings for each other with words, both are much better at showing their affection in a physical way. Be it just reassuring hugs and hand holding, or more intimate affection.

What kind of nicknames do they call each other?
Silver did attempt to call her something cheesy like “my love” after they started going out. It had such an intense effect on Dalia that she asked him to please only use that when they’re alone together. He unconsciously uses the effect it has on her when they’re being intimate too (he likes how much she blushes after it, so he keeps using it).
Dalia doesn’t use any nickname in their day to day, just calls him Silver. But sometimes if she’s being flirty or really loving, she’d call him “my prince”, which Silver really likes and he’d usually call her “my princess” in answer to it. This usually only happens when they’re really mushy/into it, though.
Who remembers the little things?
Both. Dalia is a bit better, since she has great memory and pays attention to any and every little detail.
Silver does try a lot to remember everything Dalia likes or said. But he’s a bit more air-headed and other times he was falling asleep and didn’t hear all of what she said, so it’s harder for him. Still, he’ll remember a lot of little things about her and make it clear so she knows.
DOMESTIC LIFE
If they get married, who proposes?
They do, and technically it’s Dalia but Silver does execute it.
She knows she has to make it clear what she wants so Silver takes action. So one day, after a few years together, she tells him directly “I would love to marry you. You should propose to me”. To which Silver gladly complies. Prepares a clichéd beautiful intimate proposal for her, since he knows she likes that. Even if she knew it was coming, Dalia was still surprised with all he did and was overjoyed that day~
What’s the wedding like? Who attends?
An intimate small wedding, quite humble. Lila and Dalia’s family wanted to make it a grandiose amazing thing (both have enough money to do so). But they prefer a smaller affair. Only direct family and friends. A good enough reception after with amazing food to make up for the modesty of the ceremony.
How many kids do they have, if any? What are they like?
One (for now?). A son who inherits the cat traits of her mother but has his father’s eyes. He’s really laid back and calm, really takes after both his parents for that.
Do they have any pets?
Not any actual pets, but animals love Silver. They end up living in a house near a forest, and a lot of animals do come by and visit often to see him. So they end up naming the ones that come by more and getting attached to them~
Who’s the stricter parent?
Silver is. He doesn’t usually intervene much, but when he does, they know he’s serious and won’t let up. Dalia can be really strict when needed too, but will usually spoil their son more~
Silver will also strictly prepare his son to be the future guard of Malleus’ eldest. Both in sword skill and in attitude.
Who worries the most?
None of them are worriers, to be fair. They do approach the problems that come up calmly. But Silver does get more serious about safety and keeping Dalia (and their son) safe sometimes. So it’ll be him in this case.
Who kills the bugs in the house?
None of them really do. Probably they’re just meals for Silver’s bird/animal friends so they almost never get bugs in the house.
How do they celebrate holidays?
They usually spend them with their families. If they’re long enough to make a trip, they’d go visit Dalia’s family. If not, it’ll be Lilia and the others, since they live much closer to them.Their son is really close with Malleus’ and Sebek’s children anyway, so he’s more than happy to spend holidays with them too.
Who’s more likely to convince the other to come back to sleep in the morning?
Silver will definitely make her stay in bed longer, but not really convincing her. Just keeping her in his strong embrace when he falls back asleep and she can’t get up.
If it’s actually convincing, then the rare days where Dalia actually wakes up after Silver, she’d try and lure him back to bed.
Who’s the better cook?
Silver is. None of the two are too amazing at it, but Silver did try more to learn and be better at it. Dalia does make ok meals though. Simple and functional enough.
Who likes to dance?
Dalia would be the one who starts dancing first most of the time, for sure. It’s not like she’s always dancing, but sometimes if she’s happy or if she wants to dance with him to be closer~
He’d usually humor her and dance too, since it makes her happy. Even if he’s not the best at it. He’s only better at more formal dancing, which they would do sometimes too, since both know how to.
