Whenever he’s trying to focus sitting down he has that “restless leg syndrome” where he can never stop bouncing one of his legs
Believes the egg came before the chicken
Favorite type of plants are succulents
Threw a fast food cashier out of the window when he overcharged him for two hamburgers when he only ordered one

Eventually no one stuck around with him. Even as a grown adult there was no one in his vicinity. There was only one man, Izaya Orihara - but he only came came over to use the boy for his own ends. He was also a man, so there was nothing like love in that equation. Overtime the boy came to an understanding. He just wanted to be loved by something.
God, I remember joking when I watched the anime that Shizuo proves even chads feel forever alone sometimes. But this, this is next level. This guy really is such a tragic character and that totally flew over my head.
Also, seriously, is this all supposed to come off like gayangst? Because the mention of Izaya there kind of makes it seem like gayangst.

Some Shizuo hewajima trivia you may have forgotten or not known.
•His hobby is basking in the sun.
•Shizuo likes all dairy products and sweet things, but dislikes beer and anything bitter.
•While he may not be a decent cook, Shizuo can at least make curry for himself. Although, Ryohgo Narita claims that he generally makes cup noodles.
•Shizuo mentioned that he wanted to be a detective when he was a kid.
•Originally, Shizuo was the one approached by a talent scout, not Kasuka. Shizuo, annoyed by the scout, nearly beat him to death. Kasuka rescued him, and the talent scout decided that Kasuka was just as good and scouted him instead.
•Shizuo plays with the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens grass-lot baseball team, filling in for one of their teammates. He hits home-runs out of the baseball field and eventually breaks someone's car windshield with one of these home-runs.

Do you do male readers? I was wondering if I could have a male reader x Shizuo Heiwajima from durarara? In it, I'd imagine Shizuo is very uneducated on gay people, let alone LGBT stuff in general. So when his male friend (reader) comes out as gay he's like "...that's a thing? But...I don't get it. Why?" Not in a homophobic way, just in a "I've genuinely never met a gay person until now, my parents and teachers were shit at sex ed and I grew up in a heteronormative society, please help." Then after being thought more about it...he gets curious. He starts looking into things like magazines, until he thinks he's got the gist. Then he starts noticing things like "huh, this guy is kinda handsome. Some guys are kinda handsome". Then he slowly starts realizing HE'S not exactly on the straight spectrum either, he just never met a guy that was his type. Until reader. After that, I don't know what else I can imagine. Maybe a date? But neither of them know if it's a date or not? All I know is that I want Shizuo to hold hands with a male reader.
Sorry if this is a lot, I've just had this on my mind for a while.

“Wait.” Shizuo’s voice came out slow, yet as blunt as it usually did. “There’s a name for it?”
(Y/N) smiled, attempting to stifle a laugh as he watched the gears turn behind Shizuo’s warm, brown eyes. “Yep. How are you just now finding this out?”
The bartender-garbed man shrugged, taking a drag of his cigarette. “I don’t know, it was just never brought up.” (Y/N) continued to laugh, but stifled it when he noticed that Shizuo was getting embarrassed.
“So, how's it feel to have a word for it? Being able to name it?”
Shizuo was quiet, looking anywhere but the boy beside him. “I guess it’s nice to have a name for it, but would this mean I’m...” Shizuo paused, sending a sideways glance to (Y/N), “gay for you?”
(Y/N)’s eyes widened in shock at Shizuo’s question, not expecting him to finish his question that way. He felt himself heat up and his heart began beating heavily. “E– Excuse me?” He squeaked.
“What?” Shizuo asked, confused at (Y/N)’s current state.
“I can’t tell if you meant to say that.” He answered. “Did you mean to basically tell me you have feelings for me?”
“Yeah.” Despite his embarrassment and elation, (Y/N) couldn’t help but laugh at Shizuo’s blunt admission.
“I guess you are gay for me, then.”

Izaya Orihara and Shizuo Hewajima swaps bodies
That's an interesting concept anon.
First, they would both definitely be confused on how this happen. They will test their bodies afterwards and then both will be disgusted at first. Why did they swap bodies with each other. Their archenemy.
Shizuo would feel different, not that strong as before and smaller in size. He would continue to test his body and see how fast he is. While he is trying to cool himself by trying to smoke but not having any cigarette would make him uncontrollably reach for a sign only for him not to lift it up. He would be confused and tried again only to fail. That's when after so much time of feeling normal since he is not the monster he is, he would start to feel insecure. After all that's not him and so here is how he will start to search for Izaya. The stares that he will get would be different. They be all different. Sure, they will be unhappy, some would be scared and interested but more of them would be... detest. They don't like Izaya, don't want him. They are not scared of him but they want him gone, away. A different type of look that Shizuo can't handle, can't understand... did he also looked at Izaya that way?
Izaya, on the other hand, would be intrigued by how much strength he will have and try it. Seeing him lift so effortlessly, makes him feel differently. Stronger, independent, dangerous. But after he would test mire and more, he would feel something. That all of this is wrong! That's not how a person should behave! He is what he hates! A monster. He would feel insecure and while he would definitely try to sabotage Shizuo's life, he would be so disgusted with himself. He doesn't have control, can't stay focused and he would see the different looks he would get. How unwanted he is. Sure he still had that type of stares but thoses... different story. They would hurt him. His humans hate him... did he looked like yhat when he was looking at Shizuo?
Thus both even though intrigued and both wanted to test their new bodies, they would start to see the wrongness in all of this. After all, they hated each other for a reason. And sure they will start to have a different mindset on how each other's lives is but more importantly... would start to see something they didn't before. Something that would spark something.
A new understanding, a new friendship, something else, you decide. Anyway, a really cool concept which I put more thought into this than I wanted but I got intrigued. Plus I haven't thought about this before so a nice way to daydream about. Thanks anon.
