Love how literally on graduation day life decided to go "lol ok here's the scariest day you'll ever experience in your school years"
There was a chp training nearby, we heard the gun shots, I thought they were fireworks, and then we were sent into a lock down. Not a drill, full lock down. We're still hiding in a classroom, but we know we're ok now. But WOW THANK YOU CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL, THAT WAS SOOOK APPRECIATED
So I know I retired from making D&D stuff, because of burnout. I did decide it would be okay for me to make my own games. This is a WIP of a short one I’m working on. I’m working on this and three games at the moment. Not all at one mind you. So here I present: Scrolls. It’s basically a joking take on what an Elder Scrolls tabletop rpg might look like. Complete with the ability to glitch through the floor and other bugs.
During my early teens this was the most advanced and entertaining video game I could play on any machine at home. It didn't measure up to state of the art games like Descent II and Star Fox 64, but to my brother and me it was a treasure. If only there were more than six planets.
Wait. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the new name for Dreadwolf?
As in, the hugely anticipated Dreadwolf? The dark end of the age Dreadwolf? The story that confronts the betrayal of someone you thought was a friend Dreadwolf? The game that’s supposed to finally answer some of the longest held mysteries of Thedas, Dreadwolf?
The Veilguard is what happened to that? I thought it was some quickly made spin-off to fill the gap before Dreadwolf’s release and now I’m learning it’s Dreadwolf itself?!
Ohmygod this is gonna fail so hard…
It looks like friggin Borderlands! It looks like a rip-off Guardians of the Galaxy/Honor Amongst Thieves/Generic Heist Movie. It looks like not-Dragon Age! It definitely does not look capable of being the grand climax of the story begun in Dragon Age: Origins.
The other day I happened to find out about Nekomimi no Kakera's catalogue.
The earliest game on their website is "VisionaryWings", a scrolling shooter with some surface-level similarity to Touhou.
I was able to find a download for their other shooter, Die Feen, and their King's Field-like game "Maleficia ~Nekomimi's Field" is preserved on Internet Archive.
I haven't performed an exhaustive search but so far I found a download on a Czech site which just turned out to be the trial.
I'm still trying to find new sources for stuff.
So I'm throwing that into Internet Archive for the sake of everyone knowing what's up.
