Joyeux anniversaire à Olivier Minne, 56 ans
né le 18 mars 1967 à Ixelles (Région de Bruxelles en Belgique). Présentateur de télévision franco-belge. A 20 ans, il rêve d'entrer au Conservatoire et quitte son pays natal pour Paris où il s'inscrit à un cours de théâtre. Il enchaîne alors les castings sans succès. Au bout de quelques mois, pour se faire un peu d'argent, il accepte un CDD d'aide administratif à Antenne 2. Il croise Jacqueline Joubert qui lui propose un poste insolite… speakerine ! En 1990, Olivier Minne est ainsi engagé comme speaker sur la chaîne. Il se révèle très l'aise devant une caméra, et son aisance pousse la chaîne à lui confier une rubrique dans l'émission Matin Bonheur à partir de 1992. En 1994, il assure seul la présentation de l'émission. Après l'arrêt de l'émission en 1996, l'animateur traverse un petit passage à vide qu'il comble par d'intensives séances de sport. Non seulement salvateur pour son mental, le sport lui sculpte une nouvelle silhouette et on fait alors appel à lui pour la présentation de jeu d'aventures (Jeux sans frontières en 1997, Nouveaux mondes en 1998). Remercié par France 2 à la fin des années 90, il arrive sur La Cinquième en 2000 pour présenter Les écrans du savoir. Il fait son retour sur France 2 en 2002 pour la nouvelle formule du jeu télévisé Pyramide, mais il est écarté de l'émission avec le retour des maitres-mots Claire Gautraud et Jérôme Tichit. Il présente ensuite La cible (2003–2006) et devient l'animateur emblématique de Fort Boyard qu'il présente depuis juillet 2003. Initialement présenté avec une co-équipière (Sarah Lelouch puis Anne-Gaëlle Riccio), il est seul aux commandes du Fort depuis 2010. En juillet 2014, Olivier Minne anime le jeu culte de France 2 Pyramide qui fait son come-back. En octobre 2016, il intègre le casting de la septième saison de Danse avec les stars diffusée sur TF1. Parallèlement l'animateur qui a créé sa société de production, Olivier Productions, produit des pièces de théâtre diffusées en prime time sur France 2 Un fil à la patte, La dame de chez Maxim, Trois contes merveilleux. Il renoue avec ses premières amours et apparaît dans quelques séries télévisées Samantha oups!, SOS 18, Section de recherches Fort Boyard

Do you mind if I ask your top 10 favorite characters (can be male or female) from all of the media that you loved (can be anime/manga, books, movies or tv series)? And why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....Thanks...
Ooh I don't mind at all but also this is a very hard question 🤣 I'll make a caveat that this top 10 is not necessarily in order and is subject to change but I love any opportunity to talk about my faves <3. Think of it as list of characters that I love more than a proper top 10
Yuki Sohma (Fruits Basket) - Gotta start with the guy that's been my icon on here for several years now. I read the Fruits Basket manga when I was in 7th grade and I resonated so hard with Yuki's internal struggles. I've always said our life circumstances are very different but our anxieties and personal difficulties are so similar and I had never encountered a character I related to so hard before so I latched on and have not let go to this day
Shigeo Kageyama (Mob Psycho 100) - I'm currently rewatching this series and keep thinking about how if it had come out when I was younger I would have probably latched on to Mob just as much as I did Yuki for how relatable he can be lmao. As an adult I watch it and really root for this kid and feel genuinely proud in every moment of growth he experiences.
Yusuke Urameshi (Yu Yu Hakusho) - A character I was younger than the first time I watched the anime and am currently significantly older than and he has become my anime son. I adore this boy in all of his asshole tough guy posturing and his wit and genuine care for his friends and determination and just all of it. I also want to wrap him in a blanket and give him some delicious hot soup.
Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass) - One thing about me is if a character is pretty and cunning and deadly intelligent and morally grey, they are likely going to be a favorite and Lelouch was an early example of this for me. Code Geass is one of my favorite animes I've ever watched and watching Lelouch scheme and generally be him is so damn delightful every time. He's a character I feel like I could write an entire dissertation on, I honestly could with any of these characters, but I am trying to avoid that for the sake of the length of this post lmao
Wei Wuxian (Mdzs/The Untamed) - How did it take me this long to talk about mdzs? Wei Wuxian is absolutely amazing to watch or read about in every single scene. Complicated and brilliant and cocky and so very tragic. He's another one who hits a LOT of points on the "Who is gonna be Sarah's next favorite character" bingo card. I've scarcely cried for a character as much as I've cried for Wei Wuxian, he is so dear to my heart.
Chuuya Nakahara (Bungo Stray Dogs) - What can I say? I love an angry boy. I'll be honest, a lot of my initial love for Chuuya was aesthetics. His hair and outfit alone had me primed to love him from the start but then he came in with that cocky/angry attitude and honestly fucking sick power and that solidified it lmao. And then the more I learned about him beyond the aesthetics and immediate impressions the more I loved him.
Jiang Cheng (Mdzs/The Untamed) - Definitely gotta mention my favorite angry boy of all my angry boys <3. This man has so many flaws and I honestly do get why it's hard for some people to like him but man I love him so much. His temper, to me, is just another side of his passion which also extends into his ambition and love and he rebuilt his clan from nothing and I'm definitely a person who even when it comes to his more "wrong" decisions/actions I think they're more understandable than the people who hate him say. I feel a strong need to defend him a lot of the time
Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece) - Nothing but respect for my pirate king!!!! Luffy is such a fun character. Like truly one of my favorite shonen protags of all time and that mostly comes down to how hard he makes me smile while reading just constantly. Everything he says and everything he does is so wildly entertaining while also being so earnest and honest and simultaneously laid back. The way he loves his crew and puts everything he has into being their captain. I love him so much lol
Wen Kexing (Word of Honor) - Pretty, cunning, morally grey, do I need to say more? His totally shameless attitude in the beginning was so funny all the time and then the deeper we got into his character the more he went from being the most entertaining person on screen to, well still that, but also a character I feel so many emotions for all the time.
Alphonse Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) - Now here's some top tier anime son material. My love for Al has only ever grown with the years and subsequent rewatches of this series. I. Love. This. Boy. He has seen and been through too much and is still so good and loving and steadfast in his goals and values. Literally couldn't find a better boy. 10/10

Your stories have actually been giving me the desire to pick up where I left off and resume my own CluClu stories... But unfortunately, I'm having a hard time with motivation. I always have story and next chapter ideas in my head but it's getting the words to flow that is the issue. So, I was wondering... What advise would you give? Thanks.

I'm flattered, and honestly don't understand how my messy fics and awkward writing help, but I'm glad that it does, in whatever way, shape, or form. 😅
But unfortunately, I'm having a hard time with motivation. I always have story and next chapter ideas in my head but it's getting the words to flow that is the issue. So, I was wondering... What advise would you give?
Honestly, same 🤣😂 But before I say (or type) anything more, take my advice with a grain of salt. Because what might work for me might not work for others, and vice-versa.
You're not alone in the dry-spells though. I have a hard time with motivation too -- especially when it comes to finishing multi-chapters. I'm extra careful with those because I have a shameful track record of incomplete fics from my old FFN account, and I'm sad that the habit bled through in my WBAD account. Like, I didn't finish the 1st WIP for Code Geass, and the 1st Vampire AU fic I wrote for CG either.
Anyways~ If word flow is the issue, that's a bit tough; because every writer has their own method on how to get out of the rut.
Me, personally, I read novels from bestselling authors. My automatic and favorite go-tos are Sarah J. Maas, George R. R. Martin, Becca Fitzpatrick, and Lauren Kate.
Try:
1. Reading published books from bestselling authors
Every word on those books are their own, and they have the aid of a publishing house, editors, proofreaders, etc (basically a writing team) to produce literary work for mass consumption. So, they're usually good resources for vocabulary, figures of speech, storytelling, creative descriptions, structure, etc.
Plus, it's also refreshing to see different characters and whatnot.
2. Listening to music
It's rare (or common, depending on who you are), but sometimes there will be lines in songs that would just light the creative spark. It's weird and random, but it can happen. It happened for me, multiple times. It's just very inconvenient when I'm in the middle of other important tasks and I get hit with an epiphany because of some song playing on Spotify. 😅
3. Reading fanfics for the same show, but a different genre
Getting comfortable with your main cast of characters is fun and all, but it's a little dangerous too (again, just speaking my own opinion and experience). I find that if I'm too close to Lelouch and C.C. (as characters), I develop a habit of writing them in a specific way every single time. It's like I stuck them in a mold in my head, and now they refuse to budge if I want changes.
Ergo, word flow that feels clunky and overused.
Point is, maybe try taking a step back and read other genres or about other characters. As much as I love Lelouch and C.C., I read stuff for other CG characters too. One, because it offers a refreshing change in perspective; and two, it's interesting to read about how different fanfic writers portray different characters in different genres.
4. Leave it. Pick it up later.
Sometimes issues in word flow happen because you're just not in the mood. It's sort of a hard fact to swallow, especially when you know you want to write, but when you're not in the mood, you're just not in the mood.
Don't force it.
5. Just write. Do something else that makes you happy. Come back and edit.
#5 is what I've been doing a lot lately. If I can't bring myself to leave it because I know it needs to get done, I just write whatever is in my head without thinking about quality, but knowing that I'll come back and edit later.
And it works! XD Most times, anyway. You get a front-row seat of how different your mindset is when you take a break and do something else and then come back in a refreshed mental state.
Like, I'm writing part 6 of The Chaining Booth right now and I know it needs to get done for the sake of the requestor who's been waiting on my sluggish ass. I want to finish it, but I want it to be decent too. So I have parts of the story written down, some dialogue sprinkled through the chapter + plot notes, and then I'll leave it for a while to play video games or read a book or watch a YouTube video, and then I come back with a much better mental state -- more prepared to write descriptions and figure out the next string of words that need to go wherever.
With that said,
I hope that was some form of help, and I don't trust myself when it comes to these things.
Regardless, I wish you the best in your own fanfic writing for CLuCLu. 🤗😁 And if you've published fics before (WIP or complete on FFN or AO3), perhaps you're one of the writers I've come to love and enjoy reading from too~

three characters similar to mine → Karigan Nightingale
stares into the camera like i’m in the office.
I made Karigan far before I discovered my muse for Sarah Fortune. It’s no surprise that I actually picked up Sarah along the way as I got more into League of Legends again. They’re both calculative, brutal, and while Sarah always tries to justify her brutal methods by saying that it doesn’t hold a candle to the savagery Gangplank brought, she is still committing the same sins as the man who killed her father. Karigan? She embraces the idea of violence wholeheartedly, thinking it as an answer to most things in life. The moment she realises that she’s actually pretty good at killing things, it is her go-to method. The tactics they employ are somewhat similar, though. If manipulation doesn’t work, then it’s straight to killing. There are actually more similarities than differences between these muses. tl;dr I love murderous pirate characters.
Lelouch Vi Britannia is a character that has been my favourite ever since I first watched Code Geass back in the day. And of course, his love for theatrics and being a drama queen can be seen in Karigan. Although Karigan is less of a master tactician compared to Lelouch — preferring to be on the front lines than staying put and issuing out commands — The flair that she employs regardless of who she interacts with is just as overboard as Lelouch’s. Also they’re over the top with their fancy attire to add to their dramatic shit. Both appear aloof mostly, but they care deeply about those who actually matter to them, and they are willing to do any evil or commit any sin to achieve their goals.
Because I’m such a fan of the Soulsborne games, The Nameless King from DS3 is one that I draw so much inspiration from when it comes to Karigan’s fighting style and combat presence. She employs lightning magic a lot, imbued with her blade and even long ranged spells. Also, his title at first is The King of the Storm so :^^^^ They’re both warriors that hide far above in the skies. The only difference between the two is that The Nameless King chose to abandon his country where as Karigan had no choice but to leave it, yet her loyalty will forever be with Ala Mhigo. And of course, their themes are largely similar. They will wage war because of their beliefs, as they were born from it.
