I think this parts really cool because you can really see the moment Shadow realizes what Nine is talking about :D
And I love him because he genuinely looks like “oh shit” when he does connect those dots
And because Nine gives Shadow the look of “you cant stop me.” Shadow cares abt Sonic so much, and as soon as he knew why Nine wanted him, Shadow abandoned the mission of getting the shards. He instantly just protected Sonic and got him out of danger even though that ment Shadow left himself trapped in the Grim, alone, with Nine and all his robots.

My take on a Sonadow fankid! She actually existed for a while now, but the trend gave me motivation to finally draw her!
Most sonadow fankids are purplish and tube-grown, so I decided to make her neither!
Background for the story under cut, in case it gets long!
So in this AU, stories from the more recent games happen when Sonic and Shadow are at most around 20 years old. Back then Sonic was rambunctious and reckless as we know him to be, and Shadow was a depressed, traumatized emo kid. While at first they were rivals as depicted in the games.
Over the years tho, just like their friends, the two matured. They started getting along a lot more, and became official friends, which eventually lead to dating. They both were afraid of getting serious though, so they took things slow and casual. Due to some of their unresolved issues, they couldn't get any closer. But not for much longer.
Some of it has been brought on by a Particular Event, and some of it due to restructuring how they go about saving the world, but things changed. As Forces has shown, putting so much responsibility on One Guy isn't wise. Sonic felt so quilty for failing, but it never should've been his job alone, so they created an organization, to share the load more evenly!
The org became global, with local groups of heroes being recruited all around, meaning that now the characters we know and love now had more time to take care of their personal lives.
While for some the change hasn't been much, Sonic, and to a lesser extent, Shadow, struggled quite a lot. Many of things happened in between, but eventually both of them grew to quite enjoy the domestic life.
They moved in together, and started taking things to the next level, now that both have done some healing and therapy. They found that they get along quite great. After a bit longer, they decided to start a family :)
Shadow came up with the name. He wanted to honor his sister's memory, but Mar-Mar was also a symbol of all his progress. He did go to therapy to make sure that he can handle them sharing a name, to see if it's a good idea, and well, it was!
She's now 4 and very loved, and her dads love each other very much as well. For a certain Sonic though, things won't go so great.

OKAY SO-
Sonic gets lavender scented candles for when shadow is away on missions
Shadow is shorter by like. A single inch and Sonic will NEVER let him live it down
They aren’t super affectionate in public I think. Honestly I think at most Sonic would put an arm around shadow and maybe hold his hand.
Shadow is definitely ace 2 me… I don’t make the rules
Also he’s a cuddler In private. He’s mostly touch aversive but cuddles are just nice <3
They really don’t kiss that much. Lots of cheek/forehead kisses, but mouth to mouth is REALLY rare. (Shadow finds it gross, and the ultimate life form definitely despises germs invading his face) (even if they’re Sonic’s)
Honestly just think shadow’s a clean freak anyway. I think his sanitized lifestyle on the ark just made him prone to it. Kinda like how mfs outta the military r so strict abt punctuality
Also when they fight or get into disagreements I think they both complain to Amy enough to the point where she just gets fed up and forcefully becomes their couples counselor (or whatever they’re called idfk)

Stuff for the Sonic Movie 3 that I wanna see
Gonna go ahead and get the controversial one out of the way I honestly don’t think they’re gonna do Sonadow because Sonic is 14/15 in the movie and Shadow looks like a teenager but has been frozen for 50 years and probably experienced top 5 years of life before that so who fucking know how old he is also cause Paramount will likely get shit from conservatives and they probably don’t want to risk that but I need to see Sonic lose his shit at seeing another Hedgehog cause like I said a few post ago he’s supposed to be the last hedgehog.
Something happening to Tom, Maddie, Tails, and/or Knuckles cause yes I do need to see Sonic go rage mode. We got fucking super Sonic. Shadow and Sonic are supposedly gonna fight in the air while Shadow is on his motor bike. Doesn’t necessarily have to be Dark Sonic but I need to see Sonic go rage mode and fucking…bash some robots or shit idk what’s in the movie.
I want to see Shadow get almost adopted but then Sonic says some shit like “Wachowskis Forever” and spoiler alert Tom’s Granddad killed Maria and Shadow has a identity crisis or some form of that cause the Wachowskis now are grey but a Wachowski then killed a kid and he goes and like lives alone and this is where he meets Rouge setting up Sonic 4
Obviously Chaos Control is gonna have to be a thing
I’m glad that Robotnik is slowly becoming his video game counterpart however I don’t want to see fat jokes or at least that many
I swear to god I need to hear Shadow cuss. I need to hear him say Damn I think that’s the only swear that they can use to keep it PG.

Fanfic fanons that are now canon in Monkie Kid!
This is a sequel to my post in 2021 'Things that I have to keep reminding myself are not true (or at the very least not confirmed) in 'Lego Monkie Kid' because Fandom and Fanfics have warped my perception of reality' back when we only had seasons 1-2! I made a funny list of lmk fanon tropes I found in fanfics so much that they kinda made me forget what was real and what was fanon. But after season 4 and the special, I decided to go back over things because a LOT has changed. So, without further ado, lets get into all the juicy details (with pictures!) hehehe~
Despite the events of 'Shadow Play' the rest of the gang does not know about Macaque
Okay so this one got solved immediately after season 2. Like Mac just showed up right where s2 ended. He made his presence known. Repeatedly! Relentlessly! I love him btw.
MK has never told Sun Wukong that Macaque appeared while he was gone
I listed this one specifically because some fics decide to either have MK confess to Wukong that Mac's been in contact with him after his debut episode, or MK might keep it a secret. But in the grand scheme since his debut, its kinda irrelevant now. Man is everywhere.
The Gold Fillet has not been mentioned
This is also no longer true! I mean we see it a lot but there's not a conversation about it specifically. I think that counts... (We're gonna get to the juicy ones I promise)
MK's real name has not been mentioned in the Dub
Still true! (I should clarify; I mean they havent told us what it is. Only that MK is a nickname because his real name is too long.)
MK does not have any confirmed biological family details
Whew, okay so this one is harder. We know that MK was adopted by Pigsy after being born from a stone on FFM just like Sun Wukong. So while its not exactly like Wukong laid him as a stone egg (I mean...he might've idk) its safe to say he is more related to Wukong biologically than anyone else. Right?....I think.
MK does not have an older sister
Still true, for reasons above! (Him having an older sister happened in fanfics a lot more than you'd think)
Reincarnation has not been confirmed or denied
Comfirmed now! It was HEAVILY implied in season 3 toward the end anyway heh.
Red Son and MK are not dating
YET. (But they do have cute moments -crosses fingers-)
Pigsy and Tang are not dating
Im HAPPY to say that this one is actually sort of implied to be canon? I could list a bunch of knowing looks and one off remarks but I'd be here all day gushing so I'll just go with the most obvious piece of evidence. Season 4's Pig-Napped! Has a moment where Tang is trying to get through to Pigsy, who is trapped in his ancestor's body. He mentions that he has "dedicated his life to this man (Pigsy)" and idk how else to read that if ya know what I mean. (Also this cuddle moment when he got Pigsy back. Tee-hee)
Sun Wukong and Macaque have not had any kind of relation or relationship confirmed beyond "Beloved Friends"
This one is ALSO having some VIBES but not anything confirming enough for me to outright say its canon. Though there's...there's somethin' goin on. Shadow Play set the table but seasons 3-4 gave us a FUCKING ANGST MEAL.
and the special we learn a lot more about Macaque and Wukong's relationship. They were canonically a lot closer and more affectionate than I had originally expected and the implication of being "sworn brothers" the two sharing a home at FFM, and peach metaphors/nicknames I could write a whole book about. I can't really say it has anything as concrete as Tang saying his life is for Pigsy, but I can say the implications are MIGHTY, and their wounds are DEEP. (Shadowpeach flows in my veins so deeply, season 5 please give me what I need its Sonadow but Monkey men please gods, all of the gods, just give me--)
Mei, Red Son, and MK have never had a party or a sleepover
Weirdly enough, this totally happened??? Like not gonna lie out of all of these things on this list, this one was the one I didn't expect to come through. But they did sleep over at Red's place, and had a beach party at the end of s4.
Lady Bone Demon has not been directly referred to as White Bone Spirit in the Dub
This is true, likely because they just went with a different name entirely for the English dub.
The Shame Temple is not for sex
YET.
There is no Easter Bunny, There is no Tooth Fairy, and there is no Spindrax
Honestly considering what happened to the spider gang as a whole, I'm not surprised this is still true....(RIP)
MK has not called Pigsy Dadsy (Update: a few people have confirmed this has happened) and Mk has not called Sun Wukong Dad
Im including these two together (even though the Dadsy one was already confirmed in s1) for a few reasons because I feel like I need to talk about why.
MK not only has called Pigsy Dadsy, he says flat out in season 4 that Pigsy is his dad, due to adopting him. This is in reply to Mei saying that Wukong is his dad, due to the whole stone monkey thing. While its implied he and Wukong are cut from the same cloth somehow, both being mystic stone monkeys, MK only sees Pigsy as his true father.
Macaque has not been redeemed yet
This one is a lot more nuanced. While Mac is no longer their enemy and is a reluctant ally, I wouldn't call him redeemed necessary. This is mostly because around the end of season3 and all of season 4 we begin to delve into the complexity of Wukong/Macaque. It's shown that both parties did damage and hurt each other in the past. It feels a bit black and white to try and put all the blame on Macaque and say he needs to be 'redeemed' now that we know more about the two monkeys. But for the sake of argument, I will say that as of season 4, Macaque can be considered one of the good guys even if they're not his 'friends.'
His relationship with Wukong is just beginning to mend and that's a whole different can of worms, but as past antagonists go, I'd say he's got a seal of approval when it comes to being a reliable ally.
Aaaaannnddddd that's all the ones I had! This was really fun to comb through all of the fanfic themes and see how much they've snuck their way into canon (or were flat out proven to be the deal from the start) since season 2! Hopefully once season 5 rolls around I can address some of these unconfirmed fanfic themes again, and maybe even have new ones! (Right now the only one I can think of is Azure having romantic feelings for Wukong but since he's kinda gone idk if that would ever come up)

Sonic The Hedgehog Ship Teir List
No one ask for this, but I might as well share this since a lot of you guys like my sonic art, so here we go.
1. Sonadow
I’m gonna be honest, I originally checked this ship out as a joke. I saw a funny reaction video with Youtube Shadow and Sonic, looking up Sonadow on Deviant Art. (If you know, you know) So, looked up the ship on Youtube, as in comic dubs and animatics, and eventually Tumblr fanart, and got really into it. The chemistry on these two can be very fun with some good writing, and they can look really cute together. Also, it’s enemies to lovers, which is one of my favorite ship dynamics, so that’s a plus.
2. Knuxouge
Once again, enemies to lovers, it’s just the straight version. I find both these two very amusing when they’re on screen together. Especially whenever Knuckles becomes and angary red face mess. ‘What’s not to love with these two’ is the real question.
3. Tailsmo
Sometimes canon ships could be all you need. I never really watched Sonic X, but I’m definitely grateful for it to bring Cosmo to the fandom. Their relationship is so pure, I melt out of cuteness. It’s basic, but very fitting.
4. Blazamy
Just got into this ship, and I like it. No further explanation there.
5. Tailream
Since Cosmo is gone, I don’t mind Cream being the new girl in Tails life.
6. Espilver
Love their friendship
7. Vectilla
Simple, but still very cute.
8. Whispangle
They’re just a furry version of Lumity, and I love it to death. And until I see them have this much chemistry with other people, they are endgame for each other.
9. Scorge x Fiona (Couldn’t find the ship name)
They are literally made for each other. End of story
And that’s all the ships I like to be canon, I might make a part 2, but we’ll see.

A few of my Sonadow headcanon’s for you guys lmao here we go
1) Shadow doesn’t sleep like ever because he’s the ultimate life form and finds it to be a waste of his time. However, Sonic usually has trouble falling asleep because brain move too fast, so Shadow will pet him and scratch his fur to lull him to sleep. Sometimes Sonic returns the favor and it makes Shadow tired and he’ll fall asleep too.
2) Sonic has made Shadow (and eventually their kids) heart shaped pancakes every Valentines Day since they started dating at like age 17.
3) Sonic and Shadow didn’t have pre-decided names for any of their children, but just named them based off what was happening around them.
4) Shadow absolutely HATES the words “dude” and “bro”. Sonic finds it hilarious to see how worked up Shadow can get over it.
5) Shadow uses 50’s slang. One time he asked Sonic if he wanted to “play back seat bingo at the passion pit” and Sonic just stared at him for several minutes out of pure confusion.
6) Even though there was a proper proposal, Sonic and Shadow don’t have a wedding. Neither of them are into such a giant event that will most likely get disturbed by Eggman or the paparazzi. So instead they got eloped. They do have a party with all of their friends and family afterwards though.
7) They needed a witness at their elopement, so Tails was invited to be Sonic’s best man.
8) Considering the line of work they’re both in, Sonic and Shadow don’t wear their wedding rings on their fingers but instead on chain necklaces.
9) Shadow loves gift giving. If he sees anything that reminds him of Sonic even just a little bit, you bet he’s gonna spend a ridiculous amount of money. Sonic is slowly running out of room in their house for all of the gifts.
10) Sonic and Shadow both have PTSD because there ain’t no damn way they do every thing they’ve done and DON’T develop any kind of long lasting trauma from it.
11) Sonadow has a Christmas tradition of trying to catch one another under the mistletoe but they race and spar with each other and the loser has to give the winner a kiss under the mistletoe.
12) Their first date was at an ice skating rink. It was Sonic’s idea until he got there and realized he can’t skate. Boy hasn’t skated a single day in his life. It works out in his favor though cause like he gets to hold hands with Shadow the whole time.
13) Sonadow doesn’t necessarily fight often. They bicker a lot. But when they do have a fight, it’s bad. Someone sleeping on the couch bad. They kiss and make up eventually though.
14) Sonic will HARDCORE anoint himself all over Shadow. Just aggressively rub and nuzzle for ages until he’s satisfied enough with the amount of Shadow’s scent that’s on him.
15) Sonic is bi and trans while Shadow is gay. They go to the pride festival every year and Team Sonic/Team Dark are big LGBTQ+ allies.
16) Sonic has ARFID and Shadow always makes sure that there are plenty of safe foods stocked up. (Even those dreaded chili dogs)
17) If Sonadow were to be asked what their favorite features on their partner is, Sonic would talk about how much he loves Shadow’s smile and Shadow would mention how much he adores Sonic’s eyes.
18) Shadow’s top 3 favorite bands/artists (imo) are Tame Impala, The Platters, and MCR
19) Sonic has ADHD
20) Shadow and Sonic are absolute kings at karaoke. In fact, Sonic realized he had a big gross gay crush on Shadow because he heard him sing “My Way” by Frank Sinatra at karaoke with all of their friends while very very drunk.

I JUST SAW “GRIME TIDINGS” AND I AM SHOOKITH TO MAH CORE
The new episode was… Oh my god. There’s so much Sonadow in just this first episode and I am close to fucking SOBBING.
So to start off, we got the fabled “Sonic feels bad about how Nine took the shards” in the cavern scene and even though it ended far too quickly compared to most other predictions, it was still very enjoyable! Shadow wasted absolutely no time in getting Sonic back in the game, while it took Sonic a while to realize that now is NOT THE TIME FOT A GODDAMN MENTAL BREAKDOWN. Twas a great interaction that had my soul flying outta my body frfr
THEN SONIC’S FRIENDS LITERALLY START FLYING AWAY AND MY HEART JUST SHATTERS BECAUSE WTF THEY LITERALLY JUST WENT TO SAY HI TO GOD I AM NEVER GONNA BE NORMAL ABOUT THAT THEY LEGIT JUST SAID “Bye Sonic cya in heaven” AND THEN WERE GONE LIKE WHAT
Poor Sonic just had to speed run the five stages of grief lmao
AND THEN ALL MY WORRIES WASH AWAY WHEN I SEE SONADOW WORKING TOGETHER TO GET OUT OF GHOST HILL AND IT IS SERIOUSLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SEQUENCE OF 3D ANIMATION I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. There is so much squash-and-stretch, so much dynamic posing, so many fast movements, so many moments where you blink and you miss something. It’s so fluid and so expertly done, my heart was melting when I saw it. Prime is just straight up eye candy at this point and I am not in any way complaining. This scene was so pretty and so epic and so intense. And I could feel literally every impact. Wonderful story boarding to whoever did the storyboards. You have my full respect.
And then Shadow gives Sonic a compliment and my soul once again leaves my body. I am not okay.
AND THEN THE SONADOW FANKID BATTLE ENSUES WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO
And then. AND THEN. WHEN NINE BRINGS OUT THE OTHER 4 ROBOTS TO FIGHT SONIC AND SHADOW THE TWO HEDGEHOGS LOOK AT EACH OTHER AND GO “Behind you!” AT THE SAME TIME AND I START DYING AGAIN. Feel bad for Big tho. Bro didn’t get a robot… 🥺 Feel so horribly bad for Shadow too. He got stuck fighting the Rouge robot during the fight. Must’ve been a horrible experience. Can’t wait to see how he’ll react to the other versions of her though! If we even get to see him again…!
Which by the way, the ending scene…? OH MY GOD??????????? THEY REALLY HIT US WITH THE BIGGEST CLIFFHANGER EVER. SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG. SHADOW THE GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING HEDGEHOG. THE BITCH WITH ALL THE EMO DRIP AND THE HEELIES. THE ONE WHO CAN FUCKING FLY NOW. YEAH. HE SACRIFICED HIMSELF FOR SONIC. WHAT!!!!!?????????
Obviously, he’s not gone for good. Cuz then we wouldn’t be able to call this season “Sonadow Prime season 2.” But the fact that he gave himself up and chose to fight off a whole horde of super strong and powerful robots that could beat him in an instant all because Nine had his sights on the blue blur…? That is A LOT. Especially since we’ve waited like 2 whole decades for some good Shadow characterization. In no way am I complaining, duh, but for someone like me…? MAN I WAS NOT OKAY.
Sinister Nine is… It is wild. I always knew he was gonna be a problem ever since Shadow pointed it out at the beginning of season 2, but I never expected him to actually be this evil. He lands next to Sonic and Shadow before the sacrifice, and when he reveals what he plans to do to Sonic… He’s hardly recognizable anymore. It’s scary, how utterly broken and changed he feels. This is still the same fox as before though, just a bit more sure of what he wants. And that’s terrifying.
So naturally, when Shadow figures it out, he is mortified.
AND I START INTERNALLY SCREAMING BECAUSE I WAS NOT EXPECTING HIM TO REACT THAT WAY OH MY GOD BRO WAS FLABBERGASTED HE WAS SO TAKEN ABACK HE WAS SO HEARTBROKEN HE WAS LIKE “Why u tryna hurt my boo???” AND THAT MAKES THE SACRIFICE HIT THAT MUCH HARDER. OH MY GOD. MAKES IT WORSE THAT SONIC HAD NO IDEA WTF HE WAS TALKING ABOUT TOO.
Anywhizzle my energy has dwindled since my first watch because it’s been like 30 minutes but I just wanna add that. I am pretty sure it’s official that the Prime Universe is dead. Gone. Deceased. That shit ain’t coming back, I can guarantee. We spent like half the episode trying to get out of Ghost Hill and then mourning the loss of it, and I highly doubt all that screen time is gonna go to waste. They’ll probably say that Sonic succeeded and that we’ll be shown everyone returning to normal, but based off what we see I at least hope this isn’t the case. This now feels more like a show about moving on, about finding out who you are and making friends. It’s about change, but it’s also about connection. And with the Prime Universe gone, with Ghost Hill destroyed, and with the Paradox Prism in Nine’s grasp until the foreseeable future… I really doubt we’ll see Ghost Hill restored. This fact is amplified by the fact that we’ve been getting more screen time and development with each different universe/shatterverse.

I never really understood how shadow gained his memories back.
This is coming from a personal level, but him struggling with these identity and memory issues always kind of stuck with me.
As someone who struggles with memory, it's really hard to trust what people say is true or not.
Someone recently told me they've known me for years, and I thought I only knew them for a few weeks.
Like, this is somebody I'm supposed to know. They're so familiar, yet to somehow their still a stranger.
It's shit like that, that always bugs me.
Then people tell me of these stories and things I went through, and it's like I'm listening to another person explain to me what my life was like. It just feels like I'm listening to someone read a storybook.
It's all so distant, beacuse I just can't really remember. I can't connect with my own self, and honestly I don't even know if should. Sometimes I question whether I should even try to learn my psst, or if it would even matter at all..
It makes it hard to trust people too. Cause there's liars out there, and when you've got memory problems it makes it easy for them to put stuff in your head.
(Always thinking about that just gives me way to much anxiety and makes it impossible for me to connect with people.. it's like I got eggshells for shoes.)
I try not to think about it too much, and just move on in life...but the feelings still there.
It just sucks.
I have a really good memory too...(I think?) beacuse when I can remember things its crisp and detailed. (Atleast..sometimes.)
Either than that, there's just entire gaps between my life I can't remember.
I have a freind who tells me about all my adventures I had with her. So I'm just here, lying down on my bed, contemplating all these memories I had with her.
All those memories I can't remember.

Sonic Adventure 2: Sonadow
Chapter 20: Shadow’s Sacrifice
Outside the space, Super Sonic and Super Shadow were facing Biolizard, now The Final Hazard. It was going to be an epic battle. The Ultimate Lifeform and his counterpart were ready to battle against the prototype for their final showdown.
A communicator buzzed in. “Sonic, Shadow, can you hear me?” It was Tails’ voice. "Everyone is here rooting for you. Good luck!"
Sonic and Shadow began to fight the monster together. They worked as a team, taking out Final Hazard from all angles. “Let’s see what this new form does,” Sonic said. He sent out a barrage of energy blasts at Final Hazard as it roared painfully. The monster opened its mouth to fire a laser at Sonic, but he dodged with ease.
“I don’t like this, but we need to end this quickly before the damage gets too critical," said Sonic.
The two hedgehogs attacked simultaneously, blasting Final Hazard into a massive blast of yellow light. A large explosion rocked the area, knocking them back, but the light eventually subsided.
"Sonic, Shadow, can you hear me? He's very weak without his life support system. Aim for the red swelling areas to damage him! You're our last hope!" said Eggman.
Sonic nodded, "Got it."
"Leave this to me," said Shadow as he dashed off to go after Final Hazard. He raised his hand to shoot another burst of energy at the creature. "Chaos Blast!!" He released a beam that exploded against Final Hazard. The monster roared in agony.
Shadow winced in pain. His energy blasts hadn't been much help on top of that, but he didn't let this show.
"You okay, Shadow?" asked Sonic.
"I'm fine. Just hit my limit, that's all. But this should be enough." said Shadow.
"Let's finish it up fast then," said Sonic. "It looks like he won't be able to survive that anymore. Finish it quickly and I'll take care of him."
"Okay," said Shadow.
"Sonic, Shadow!" It was Knuckles' voice in the communicator. "The colony is heading close to Earth in about 4 minutes! Hurry!"
"We haven't got much time left! You do the blast, and I'll do the homing attack," said Sonic.
Shadow nodded, and then they charged at the Final Hazard at full speed. Shadow shot his own blast toward the monster, aiming for a mass where a few tendrils had appeared. And Sonic curled himself into a ball and hit the red swellings on its back. He was able to cause some pain, Final Hazard roared painfully.
'Maria... watch me. I will fulfill your wish!' thought Shadow. "CHAOS SPEARS!!" he threw the yellow arrow-like spears at the monster’s back. They penetrated the monster and struck several organs, causing more suffering. Final Hazard roared painfully.
"That was great, Shadow!" cheered Sonic, giving him the thumbs up.
Shadow smiled and replied, "Thanks."
"You guys!" It was Rouge's voice as a communicator. "The colony is getting close to the planet in 1 minute! Please hurry!"
They flashed and appeared in front of the space colony and they held out their hands.
"No way that's getting through!" yelled Sonic.
A girl's voice was heard from Shadow's mind.
'Shadow... I beg of you.'
"Maria...?" whispered Shadow, confused. "Maria, is that you?"
‘Shadow... Give them a chance to be happy. Please take care of the village and protect everyone. Make sure that everyone survives…’ said Maria's voice.
Shadow closed his eyes and came back to the reality.
"Now, Shadow!!" yelled Sonic.
"CHAOS CONTROL!!" both yelled in unison.
The beam of white light engulfed Final Hazard, and it was completely destroyed. The colony ARK was above the Earth. Far, far above the Earth, and the planet was saved.
Inside the Space Colony, they were cheering and celebrating. They hugged each other and celebrated the victory, and they looked at all of the surviving residents. They were all so excited, and even though it had just happened, they felt like it was just yesterday. The moment they saw each other, they realized how much they missed one another.
“They did it!" exclaimed Tails.
*Outside the space*
Sonic laughed, "We did it, Shadow!"
No responded.
"Shadow?" He turned around to Shadow was exhausted and his breathing was shallow. Sonic flew to Shadow to check on him and placed his palm on Shadow's face, making him open his eyes. "Shadow, what's wrong? You okay?" he asked softly.
"Sonic..." Shadow murmured. His super form was depleted back to his original form, and he slipped unconscious from falling to the Earth.
"Shadow!!" Sonic cried, flying down after him. He was trying to catch Shadow, but he was a meter away from him.
"Shadow, wake up!! Wake up, dammit!!" Sonic cried.
He was unresponsive as Sonic used his full speed to fly toward him trying to catch him. But when Sonic was close enough, he managed to grab one of his hands from the gravity.
'C'mon! Just a little more!' thought Sonic, trying to reach him.
One of the Inhibitor Rings flew out of Shadow's wrist and Sonic grabbed it. Shadow was far away from him and it was too late to save him.
'Maria... Is this enough...?' Shadow asked in thought. 'This is what you wanted... right? This is my promise I made to you...' He spoke his final words as he fell down to the planet and disappeared with a flash.
Sonic stood there in outer space, hanging his head down, defeated. 'Why couldn't I save him?! Why am I such an awful friend..!?' he cried in thought, gripping his ring tightly in his hand.
Sonic screamed at the top of his lungs in despair, and then he cried uncontrollably. He was gone. His lover was gone, and now Sonic had to deal with being all alone. It was his first love since he met him in the city when the G.U.N. mistook Sonic for stealing Chaos Emerald from the museum. Now that Shadow was gone, Sonic was alone again. Sonic felt lonely, abandoned, hurt... And he hated it. He hated his fate and he hated everything about it. After a while, Sonic collected himself and flew back to the ARK.

Chaos Witches Lore:
• Moon’s been seeing visions with a rare symbol she’s never seen before in her sleep ever since she was a kid. So she researches the dark spells in her books to search for an answer
• Moon and Ice can easily get scared of changes in their lives
• Whenever Moon loves something, like Mona, so much, she gets really attached to them, and if something bad happens to him/her/they, she starts to get upset about it and then cries
• Moon always felt like she’s something special, and she always thinks that just to motivate herself, but she didn’t know that she really is something important and doesn’t even know it
• Moon’s first spell was a light spell, meaning she was able to make her own little light in her own hands. Jade’s first spell was able to fix a bird’s wing when it fell off a tree. Ice’s first spell is when she sneezed, she made her little snowman come to life. And from those moments, they’ve earned Witch’s Pearl in their hands
• A Witch’s Pearl is earned when a young Chaos Witch at the age around 4 or 5, makes their first spell that is completely on their own
• Moon, Jade, and Ice aren’t from the same island as Sonic and the others, but have recently moved over there just to explore the area
• Ice’s aunt has heterochromia and suffers from a traumatic brain injury and doesn’t talk much, and her and Azula are trying their best to take care of her just as much as their aunt took care of them
• Jade has two dads, and they’re gothic like her
• Moon loves robots like Rusty Rose, Chaos Sonic, or even her own robotic counterpart, Eclipse Prime. She finds them very cool, and prefers Chaos Sonic than Metal Sonic
• Moon’s a Sonadow shipper, Jade’s a Blazamy shipper, and Ice’s a Mephilver shipper
• Ice loves EDM and K-pop. Moon loves EDM, Pop, K-pop, rock, and Hispanic music. Jade loves K and J-pop, and calming Chinese music
• Like all witches, they go to the Annual Chaos Witch Festival. It’s a way for all Chaos Witches to come together, like a family gathering. They can even invite non-witches to join if they want to, but they have to know if they can trust them on not giving away their secrets or location of the festival, for Chaos Witches, when they’re all together, are very secretive and they like to keep it that way. But that’s only when they’re together, and when they’re not, they’re as free as a bird
• The Witch Trio all have been researching on who the first ever Chaos Witch is, and wondered if they left anything behind when they passed on
• Even though Jade and Moon don’t usually get along, but Trixx and Jinx gets along fine. Most of the time
• Sickle is always on the look out for Ice’s safety. He and Torch (Amber’s burrowing owl Talistrum) even helps them take care of their aunt
• To any non-Chaos Witch, whoever touches Ice would feel like she’s made out of ice. While to her and the other Witches felt like an air conditioner. And to Ice, she still feels warm no matter the temperature

(honestly i thought i’d get a sonadow request way sooner than i actually did lmao)

writing prompt/plot summary: Energetic, adventurous and otherwise happy, all inherent parts of her personality, Jenny Walsh has lived a life of plans yet unfulfilled, she a children's books story editor who aspires to write her own stories. When her sister Meg announces that she and her fiancé Tony are getting married in one month's time in a destination wedding at the Ice Hotel with Jenny as the maid of honor, Meg believes she can at least assist in one of Jenny's other unfulfilled items, namely to be married herself, by setting her up with the widowed best man, travel company owner Craig. Jenny wants no part of a set-up, that is until she meets Craig and his adolescent daughter, Sara, the entire package to which she is indeed attracted. The problem about which Tony didn't even know until Craig arrived at the hotel is that in addition to Sara, Craig has brought Lana Devereaux, a proverbial plus one, to the festivities, Lana about who no one knew even existed in his life. While Lana makes it clear that she sees this getaway as a romantic one for two whenever possible in her goal of becoming Craig's next wife, Jenny, in her continued feelings for Craig and Sara, wants to find out how Craig sees his life with Lana, especially with regard to Sara, Jenny not wanting to upset the apple cart regardless in respect of Lana who has her own dreams.

1. Wind Storms - the very first Knuxadow fic I ever read. This was the one that inspired me to make this blog and dive into the ship to begin with. Every couple months I come back and read it again, just because I love it so much!
2. Complex - the second one I ever read, including Rouge as the third in the relationship. (I'm not gonna lie besties, I like this one a whole lot because there's choking in it. It's SFW tho!)
3. Lost Memories - [incomplete] slow to update, but it's a slow-burn, memory loss fic that really cute to me! Just two angry boys, having no idea what to do about each other and their supposed hatred for Sonic the Hedgehog ❤️ Go to the author's page to read more Knuxadow fics, too!
This is the only Fanfic.net rec I'll post here, since I actually can't stand that site 😔 I just stick it out for Lost Memories.
4. This is Who I am - this one's really really really cute, too!!! And it was written for Knuxadow Week 2021!!
@nomnomnamir is a fantastic writer, too! They haven't written any Knuxadow, but his work absolutely blows me away. I'm obsessed with the way Namir characterizes Shadow and Rouge's sibling dynamic, and their Sonadow works are excellent reads. I'm not even a huge Sonadow fan anymore, but, man, his stuff hit different. 😏
