Eddie and reader who are enemies and cant stand each other she hates his flirty attitude and dopiness and eddie hates her short fuse and the fact he thinks shes the prettiest girl he’s ever seen

And one night him, harrington wheeler and buckly are drunk and walking the streets of hawkins and it comes to their attention that the new burlesque club has opened up and they think why not find some entertainment i mean who doesnt like pretty girls dancing to good music

Reader whos finally found a way to maybe just maybe make her way out of hawkins and showcase her talent on stage to whoever might be watching

The lights drop and she walks out onto stage a mic in hand and starts singing ‘tough lover’ and eddie swears hes never felt so light headed, maybe its the fact his drunk maybe its the fact there are so many pretty girls around and he doesnt know what to do with himself

Untill the lights pick back up and eddies heart drops when he notices that the pretty girl thats got him feeling so high is the same pretty girl that hates his guts…. And shes half naked

Readers loving the attention until she shes a few friends of hers and that stupid munson and his pretty fucking eyes sitting right at the table in-front of the stage she swore was empty before she walked on stage

But the show must go on and eddie swears hes never been so hard

I HAVE MANY OPINIONS ON THIS ACTUALLY

From a fashion perspective, obsessed. I love love love the designs. The dotted bag is simply iconic n I will add it to my collection.

But from a more artistic sort of view. I cannot imagine being Kusama rn. A lot of the things she does they do like have a lot of meaning behind it. It tends to come down to a sense of ego death ya know? The rooms she makes are places to get lost in the polka dots hide the identity. Is obliteration of the self. Ego death.

Now I feel at odds seeing that with LV. Cuz obviously its a novelty item. It is quite the opposite of ego death it fills the ego. Its materialism in some way. And that while also knowing her art instalation mostly got popular cuz influencers like to take picture in them....

You see how this puts a taste in my mouth? Idk if its bitter, sour or sweet. But its something complex ive not yet figured out fully. Eitherway, i wont knock an artist down for getting these deals and being famous. I do too. There is no escaping itm and again, love the designs. So im gonna get it. But I hope it gave insight to my thoughts on the matter?

Short or long, each little touch of affection like that tended to make Meryl's brain short circuit. Doesn't matter how cold bitten their lips are, wind worn and chapped from the icy onslaught outside. It's warm, enough to make her start to lean after him at the short-lived contact before her face blooms in embarrassed red, sputtering.

Long enough standing has her reaching forward to wrap her arms around his middle though, tucked under his, chin nestling on his sternum with a huff up at the offending outlaw. Perhaps it's partially to leech the warmth from him, just as much as it is to impart hers as diminutive as she is.

Lip curls in a sheepish smile and she taps a quiet rhythm against his spine, pushing up a little on her tiptoes to get just that smidge closer. "Another, for new years? Please?" She can only thank a certain avian inclined companion for keeping a particular annoying man from seeing her be this brief show of unabashedly soft.
