Today for my absolut favorite piece of art for this year's Femslash February! ✨

I have always, ALWAYS, wanted to do a Ghibli au with AkanexAkari. And I haven't seen so much done with Laputa castle in the sky. Plus I felt it suited them as well so I ended up with it.

I've been developing the look of this character for a very, very, very long time. I even posted a fragment of one of the sketches with a promise to complete it... Well, guess who was a liar (pants on fire)! I ruined it!

But now they are here. My child!..

Do you recognize them?

I think you all have already guessed that this is not an original character, but a familiar canonical one, just in a new guise. With the same success, they could just hang a sign on themselves saying "I am a normal human and not a chthonic freak" - the level of disguise would be the same.

And that's exactly what I wanted. I wanted their appearance to be as readable as possible. In my story, their true nature is initially not a decisive intrigue, and pretending that it is a secret would be very silly. And this look was developed specifically for this story.

Yes, I'm still writing. And after the exams, I can finally exhale and return to creativity.

By the way, here are the sketches that formed the basis of the final design:

And let's pretend that we didn't notice that they wear transparent pants and hardly wear anything under them... And in fact, if you look closely, their outfit is very freaked up in principle - but I swear, this is directly related to the plot and what role they play there (the role of the AMBASSAWHO- ....!!)
