okay, let's say, hypothetically, ninjago's target age demographic wasn't 5-13 year olds.
how horrifying would skybound have gotten

art from march of kryll from my dad the bounty hunter! i love lots of the character designs in this show and this little axolotl man is definitely one of them, admittedly he also immediately reminded me of randall boggs lmao, he even has a scene where he hears sean eavesdropping on him in the washroom and has his henchman kick open the stall doors and i'm sorry but it was just like that scene from monsters inc.

Kai: I didn’t even get your name!
Kai you’re living someone’s dream right now. Getting caught and choked out between some thighs like that.

Is there any other fandoms you enjoy besides Sonic? If so, what are they?
There rly isnt any other fandom I'm super involved in rn other than sonic, but I've been watching the old Gargoyles and the newer ducktales cartoon with my brother! They r both top tier so far 👌 Highly recommend

I was watching The Cloak of Black Velvet again and-
Tech made a laser canon that simultaneously shoots out nun chucks and ninja stars.
Do you think that when he was making it, he was just thinking, “oh yeah, Ace will love this,” the whole time?

finished rewatching season 1 of legend of korra,,, this show is so good but also that last scene between tarrlok and noatak will always be famous as one of the most fucked-up scenes in something rated tv-y7

Maybe it's just me, but The Owl House doesn't seem to be the type of show that should be considered a TV-Y7 show....
I mean, it has moments of sheer horror that can even spook a grown adult, characters get eaten/killed off and on screen and there are a lot of subtle adult jokes. (an example with Luz being all like "He's got the hots for you doesn't he~ 😏) you don't hear people saying that in a Y7 kids show...hahah
I mean, it should have gotten a PG/General Audience rating at best for all these factors. I understand that one reason it didn't is because of some of the lessons that get taught in the first few episodes of S1, but it is definately the type of kids show that was probably meant to be targeted towards older kids (10-16). But that's just my opinion.
What do you guys think?

Love when media lets their main characters fail. And not the pathetic makes you want to wrap them in a blanket failure. But a failure borne through pain and suffering as they watch everything they were trying to protect crumble. A failure that hurts. A failure that feels hopeless. A failure that has them grit their teeth and push back tears as they desperately cling to hope that maybe, just maybe, if they try hard enough they can win
