PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FANKIDS THEY ARE SO CUTE.... do they have unique magic?? what are their family dynamics (with their parents, grandparents, etc.)???
AH OKAY SOOO- I have quite a few (I’ll tag them all so you can scroll through their tags- despite not having an organized blog I do have it organized for them) BUT I shall focus on Nami, Enzi, Faraja and Viv because. I’m in a mood for my girls rn-/lh
Nami is an only child, spoiled to hell and back by Azul because look at that man. He was made to be a girl dad spoiling them. She can do no wrong to them and they will defend her and her actions until the end of time. BUT she is the more generous kind of spoiled (if she likes you. If she doesn’t then get slapped by octopus tentacle motherfucker-) where she will give you something like that because she’d always just get another one
she’s the only one to have a fully thought out um (because god why do they take so much brainpower to think of)- Sirens Song. If she wills it, she can use her voice as a tool of mass hypnotism. This ability goes as far as her voice does, so as long as you are in earshot of her voice, you are susceptible. (Which sucks for beastmen with good hearing)
in general though she is very close with both of her dads and admires both of them to an absurd degree. She wants to be just like them, if not better. She is ADORED on Azul’s side (because in my lore, octo babies are RARE. You will only ever probably have one, or maybe two if you are insanely lucky. It ties into their magical prowess) but on Jamil’s side it’s basically just Najma and Jaddah, but she barely sees her (in my lore Jamil’s mom isn’t a bad person, she just was stuck in a bad situation and was very mentally unwell. Jamil and Najma were both ripped from her arms right after she gave birth and it messed her up. Jamil let her hold baby Nami and she cried)
(Design wise she pulls from Ariel and Vanessa. And a bit of jasmine)
Enzi is also technically an only child, but it’s only ever been her and ruggie. She was quite literally plucked off of the street and she’s been with him ever since. She grew up side by side with Faraja, constantly having play dates and such. But overall, she just, loves her dad. They’re a lot more like friends then a normal parent kid dynamic because ruggie understands that as she gets older she wants more respect (and hyena gender roles come in a bit). He taught her things from his culture though (HISPANIC RUGGIEEEE-) and she is fully considered apart of their community. Even if she’s a grey hyena in a sea of blonde and brown.
Faraja is… oh god she is my angst baby. I’m so sorry girl- she is an only child as well. I swear I didn’t mean for this to happen- her other parent.. isn’t in the picture. One day she was at Leona’s doorstep with a note saying she was his, and a week later, after the tests went through, she was. Cursed with being a bastard in a royal family (despite how fucking upset about it Leona was and how much he fought her treatment) she was basically ostracized from the rest of the family except for farena’s wife and Cheka. Leona loves her though. She never got a royal budget so he works as a local magical history professor and gives her his budget instead. Her hair is used throughout her storyline to express her feelings and I have a post detailing some of her angst
Vivienne is Not an only child, she has her brother, Emil- and she’s a musician (a la Taylor swift- said somewhat jokingly) but she only started performed when she was 16, because Vil was absolutely not going to have her have the same childhood he did. Instead she was tossed over to rook and taken out hunting. She has a crossbow in her skirt enchanted to compress at all times. She’s close with her little brother (tho he is annoying. Like all siblings) and she’s pretty close with both of her parents. (She also loves her gf Faraja which was a uh. Shock for Vil, at first.)

Kitten! (Ruggie / Reader)
‘How did it become like this?!’ You wailed in desperation slumping against a tree. Your cute whiskers sniffle and twitch at your discomfort.
Well, like how most accidents go, it started in the lab. You were tasked to work with Floyd, who dumped a bunch of contents into the cauldron without your notice. You’ll get back at him!!!! You swear!!!
…That is, if you can go back to normal because, in the current time, you’re a feline that could only meow, hiss, run and walk.
‘Hah…’ You frowned, letting out a sad meow. When you transformed, Floyd quickly scooped you up and threw you out of the classroom window. You’re sure Crewel scolded him (go get him, sensei!), but now your problem was getting back.
Not only are your surroundings unfamiliar due to your height, but it’s also extremely difficult to move with your newly gained body parts.
There are only tall, tall trees for you to see… that’s it!
You squared up, preparing to climb the tree. Maybe, if you’re able to climb then it’ll be easier to spot where you are---!
“What’d we got here…?” A familiar voice called, picking you up by the scruff. You sighed in relief, knowing that human language felt natural to your ears. Phew.
Your eyes met his grinning face. Cute!“Meow! (Ruggie-senpai!) Meow (Help me)!”
“Eh???” Ruggie’s eyes widened in surprise. “[Name]?”
You nodded frantically with your small head. “Meow meow meow, purr? (I accidentally became a cat, so could you bring me to Professor Crewel’s class, please?”
“Hmm…” He considered your question, tilting his head to one side, hand resting on his hip. He shook his head, to your dismay. “Meow meow. Meow-meow. (Nah, too much work. I gotta get this to Leona-san.”
“Meow! (Please!) Meow meow meow! (I’ll do anything, please!)” You desperately called. “Meow meow meow (Just help me!)!”
“Prr~? Meow meow meow, kitten. (Oh~? What an interesting offer you got there, kitten.)” He teased, tickling your chin. Just like a cat, you began to purr, much to his delight. “ Meow meow? Meow-meow? (Should I take you up on that? Just what can you do?)”
“M-m- purr… (I- I can-)” Any coherent words you were able to come up with were drowned by the purrs that sprung out of your feline body.
His lips quirked into a smirk as he brought you closer to his chest, hands moving to play with your ears, eliciting louder purrs from you. “Meow. Meow-meow. (Hah, sure, I guess. As long as you pay me double.)”
You don’t reply, too busy drowned in bliss. Is this what Grim feels when you scratch him?! No wonder he’s always demanding it! It feels so good!
He cradled you like a baby, one hand supporting your bottom as the other goes to scratch your feline features. Your ears, your tail, your chin… just about anywhere he could reach. Without your knowledge, your purrs ranged in volume, so loud purrs can be heard as you walked down the hallway with him.
Without your notice, his lips curved into a fond smile. Even as an animal, you managed to turn him into a gushy mess. Seriously, do you secretly have powers or something?
Unfortunately, good things don’t last long, so the saying goes, and you soon learn that when he stopped scratching you. You pouted.
��Meow meow. (Here we are, kitten,)” Ruggie replied, knocking on the alchemy door. “Crewel-sensei! I got somethin’ for you!”
“Enter!” With that remark, Ruggie threw you in, waving goodbye at you. “Gotta catch up to Leona-san! Catch ya in the gardens later, ‘kay? For my reward!”
You meow at him back, still blissed out from the scratches he gave you.
“There you are.” Crewel huffed, picking you up.
“Meow! Meow meow meow? (Crewel-sensei! Are you going to change me back?)”
“Meow. Meow, meow. (Of course. Here, drink this.)” He poured a potion of red into an evaporating dish.
You gave the potion a tentative lick. It’s sweet! You continued licking, and eventually…
POOF!
You changed back, in school uniform and everything.
“Hah, good.” Crewel nodded, crossing his arms. “Now, the things that you’ve missed...”

“Ruggie-senpai.” You called, approaching the hyena in Savanaclaw with a brown paper package behind your back. “Thanks for carrying me back! So, what do you need help with?”
“[Name]!” Ruggie replied, carrying a basket of laundry. “Shi shi shi, you’re gonna pay me back, aren’t ya?”
“That’s what I said.” You huffed, outstretching 1 hand towards him.“Now, come on, hand it to me.”
“Well, since you’re going to be so nice~” He grinned, placing the basket on you. He sighed, placing both of his hands behind his head.
He started to sniff the air and a grin split open. “Kitten, I think you got somethin’ for me?”
“Yeah. Here.” You handed him your package. “Donuts. For you.”
“S-seriously?” He looked at the package doubtfully. You quickly understand what’s going through his mind.
“Senpai, you don’t have to pay me back, sheesh.” You hit his face lightly with the package. “Just take it as my gratitude.”
“You sure?” He takes the bag hesitantly even if the aroma wafted through his senses wonderfully. “If ya say that, then-”
“Yes, senpai!” You insisted, scowling. “I don’t need any payment, I’m just thankful you saved me from being a cat, geez!”
Ruggie’s grin’s back, and he nudged your shoulders, happily opening the package. “Stop pouting. Ya can’t take that back, okay?”
“Yup.” You nodded firmly, doing as he said. Laundry basket in your hands, you walked out, Ruggie following next to you.
Looks like you’re going to have a long day (or two) ahead of you. Well, it’s okay.
You cast a glance towards the hyena boy, watching his tail wag happily and glistening eyes as he devoured the donuts with ease, making a mess of his hands.
It’s worth it to see him this happy.
You should spoil him more.
Yeah.
Maybe start by forcing Crowley to increase your horrible monthly allowance.
…

Ahh yes. Ruggie loves hearing his name on his birthday. Its the sound of another gift falling on his lap, if he's lucky it's an expensive one but upon recognizing that its your voice, he shook the thought away.
Turning to you, hands filled with gifts from various people that he gifted last year.
"Woah!" You halted in your steps, surprised that you didn't notice the pile from behind him. Its almost covering half his face.
"Uhh...do you want some help with that?" He squinted his eyes at your question. "You're not trying to steal my gifts are you? You can't! I earned this after gifting people theirs last year!"
You laughed at him, finding his pouty face adorable. "Of course not birthday boy. Consider this as my second gift to you! I'll help you with anything today."
"Anything?" He smirked at you, his eyes glinting with mischief which in turned made your face go slightly warm as your mind wandered. "A-anything that's within my capabilities," you stuttered, previous confidence nowhere to be seen
He chuckled, " What are you thinking in that pretty little head of yours? Don't worry, I won't ask you to do something naughty.." he trailed off, leaning close to your ear and whispered, "unless you wanted me to, not that I mind"
If your face was warm before, you're certain that it's now completely hot. "I-I WASN'T THINKING ANYTHING LIKE THAT!" You exclaimed, hiding your face in your hands.
Now it's his turn to laugh at you, "Shishishi~ I guess you're gonna be stuck with me for the whole day now. Don't you regret it later kay? Now help me carry half of this and bring it back to my room"
Oh boy this is going to be one hell of an exhausting day.
