I’m almost 3 hours into the new QuintonReviews video (the one that’s NINE AND A HALF HOURS LONG) and I just want everyone to know 2 things (minor spoilers):

Quinton reviewed the rest of the Lil Sam and Cat Show (the animated online supplement to Sam and Cat that apparently went longer than Sam & Cat itself) but he sped up the video by 5000x and the audio is jumbled nonsense so this maniac just made lost media for the sake of pacing (in a 9.5 hour video) and fun

Quinton will be appearing in upcoming videos on Smosh Pit and Smosh Games

everyone is very excited about the new quinton reviews vid (which is fair), but I havent been able to feel normal watching stuff from him since him totally ignoring the antisemitic ass jokes Nickelodeon was making abt Robbie Shapiro, and instead deciding to push it into a fun little headcanon about him being trans. And of course everyone in the comments ate it up and said it was such a fun way to re-imagine the joke. Like, that is not what the joke was, or was intended to be. It wasn't just a stupid 2000s era vaguely homophobic joke, the joke was "He's a Jewish man and Jewish men are effeminate". It was blatant antisemitism, and he totally ignored it, and it's just one more moment where queer Jewish people are getting thrown under the bus within our own community.

genuinely think the video quintonreviews just dropped is his most important in the entire series, not because it particularly reveals anything that others didn't know, but because of the nuance and respect he approaches this topic with and the point he has to make about how these instances of misconduct in any given industry being revealed is often used as a shield against actual criticism of said industry practices in favor of easy narratives about single bad actors.

Those content creators vaugeposting about QuintonReviews after he was stalked and harassed by one of his editors sicken me. Either they didn't bother to reach out to him and only went off his stalker's antagonistic videos and tweets or they know what happened and they'd rather take him down because they don't like him. Both are bad. Sarah Z, Lady Emily and Folding Ideas ought to be ashamed of themselves.

listen ok. listen. listen. listen to me. i cannot stand the way this man talks. ever since i noticed that he says every single sentence with the exact same way it drives me insane. i have not watched a Quinton Reviews video in like 2+ years because of it and it STILL makes me mad

because i need you to understand ok man. listen. are you listening? listen to me goddamnit. its not his voice. his voice is fine. it's the WAY he talks. it's HOW he says, EVERY SENTENCE, like THiIiIiIiIiIiS. i cant stand it. it drives me insane. it makes me so ferally ravenously angry to think about

if anyone started speaking to me in that voice i would grip them in my teeth and shake them around violently like a dog with a chewtoy. if i ever see a bearded man with glasses wearing garfield merch in my entire life im going to snap into sleeper agent kill mode and end up in a 4 hour shootout with the police outside of a panda express. it is solely by my feelings about some guy on youtube who i havent watched since high school that i will not be allowed into the pearly gates of heaven

anybody who lumps quinton reviews in with the "video essay but its actually just plot recap" is straight up wrong or lying. the newest video is 2 1/2 hours of recap, 7 hours of contextual information, hyperfixation style rants, character analysis, and book review. you don't even have to watch the video to know this just look at the chapters on the video

I finally finished Quintons recap of Sam & Cat, and MAN, this series reeks of missed potential. There's always missed potential in basically all media, but this is to a point it kind of hurts

Imagine if instead of Sam & Cat we got a sitcom about Dice and Goomer, about a little kid who is a sort of conman/manager and a popular boxer getting into misadventures. The show had Donna, the show had a restaurant run by robots. They had so much stuff that could have led to something actually endearing and fun to watch

But instead the show focuses on Sam and Cat
