Author's Note: I have too much to say to leave it here, I am halfway across the country right now, travelling to Skokholm Island to spend almost a whole week with puffins and being totally off-grid and offline, so I will just dial it back to say that I am incredibly grateful for every bit of love, appreciation and every comment that has been given to me, they have pulled me through some incredibly dark times and I am beyond grateful for every single one of you. It has been more painful than I expected to finally let go of this story, of my Crowley and Aziraphale and especially my Muriel, but I hope you enjoy the ending to their story (although an ending for us, perhaps a beginning for them...)

Wild Kratts: Our Blue and Green World Trailer.
Underneath the cut for those who consider it to be spoilery, but we have a trailer for the one-hour special, Our Blue and Green World, airing April 1st, 2024.
The Kratt brothers disagree on what's better; blue oceans or green forests. Aviva takes on the role of referee to demonstrate how oceans and forests work together to make our living planet, just like Martin and Chris need to keep working together. It's up to the gang to get Martin and Chris back in sync in time to save planet Earth from Zach and Paisley's villainous plans.
This special was first mentioned back in May of 2023 during an interview with Martin Kratt heralding the show's premiere of its 7th season. The original title was Blue and Green: The Living Earth before it was chaned to our Blue and Green World. The episode will feature climates and habitats corresponding with the Kratt's "blue and green." With it, will come the introduction of new Creature Power Suits: The ones we have seen thus far in the trailer are Indri Power, Green Anaconda Power, and Blue Whale Power.

Ok but I'm starting to see a weird pattern in the PowerSuits in this season. For some strange reason, they have to retrofit the wearer's mouths to match the ACTUAL anatomy of the animal the suit is based off of. They did it with the Wild Pony and the Mountain Goat Power Suit and both of them were.... ugh. Now they did it with the Blue Whale Suit and to be fair, while I hate that particular feature, it's not enough to make me hate the suit. In fact, I kinda like it more because of how silly it looks (Martin is the perfect person to wear this suit tbh). Still though, I wish they designed it like the Crocodile, Hippo, or Puffin Suit where the giant mouth is simply an attachment that doesn't move while the wearer speaks.
For those who don't know, Indris are the largest species of lemur in the world (alongside Diademed Sifakas). They are the only animals besides humans that can find and use rhythm using "wailing songs" to communicate. They're also critically endangered due to slash and burn of their habitats and poaching for their flesh as delicacies (yeah, very odd that Gourmand isn't here, but I digress). There's an estimate to be less than 10,000 left in the wild and are expected to have a population net decrease by 80% within the next 30 years... yeah, considering that they're endemic to Madagascar, not a very good sign. I didn't even know what an Indri was until reading the article, and if I'm not the only one who had no clue about these guys, it's probably definitely a good sign that they're getting some spotlight in this show.
The Indri Power Suit looks so goofy, but again, something about how silly it looks just makes me appreciate it all the more. I... weirdly expected it to be way bigger like the Puffin Suit, but again that's just me.
I am a huge fan of how they designed the snake-inspired Creature Power Suits in the show. But the Anaconda Creature Power Suit... holy shit.
LOOK AT IT /POS
Look at the markings! Look at the green! Look at the patterns, and the color schemes! Chris FINALLY got a green Creature Power Suit to activate! Our boi won! It's also a pretty clever callback to the Amazon special where Chris met the Anaconda (I really hope the Power Disc for this suit is green because god that would be so aesthetically pleasing).
Ngl, if the old flash games were still on the website, and this was one of the Power Suits I could earn for my character, I'd play it in a heart-beat.
I'm really interested to see the Zach/Paisley team up. This season already started to utilize her better by giving her another solo appearance, and now we're seeing a 1 on 1 team up with her and another villain. I was always gunning for a Paisley/Donita teamup but this works too. They're both very similar characters that can bounce off each other in similar, yet different ways (I actually headcanon that they're related - second cousins to be exact - because of those similarities). The final battle is gonna be kickass.
If you were to tell me without any context at all that this was a screencap from the upcoming WK feature film (that this episode is often mistaken for), I would believe you. Because HOLY SHIT! The linework, the lighting, the hues, AND the shading! I am becoming more and more grateful for the 2-year long hiatus - the animators needed time to cook and they fucking COOKED. For an extended TV episode, this is pretty damn impressive.
People don't talk enough about this, but fun-fact: A lot of the animators of this show had experience working for Disney. Erika Worthylake was one of the artists on this show, doing several beta designs for animals such as wild ponies and salmon sharks. In 2019, she was the lead designer for Anga, one of the new characters in Disney's The Lion Guard (which, much like Wild Kratts, was animated in Toon Boom). Ben Balistreri had collaberated with the Kratt Brothers and Luc Chamberland in 2007 to work on the show's pilot episode, creating several different designs for the animated characters. Ten years later, he became the executive co-producer of Tangled: The Series. Kendal Brouet, who animated A Creature Christmas, worked on The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder in 2022. Just to name a few. It's just a fun little thing that comes up in the back of my mind whenever the topic of WK animation comes up, and this instance of animation is so fucking good that I HAVE to talk about it, because I have MAJOR respect for these guys, and if there were ever moments in the show that remind me "Oh, this slaps," I just remember what these talented artists worked on through the years and it clicks together nicely in my brain.
According to Whrokids, this episode is gonna have a runtime of 58 minutes. I found this screenshot of someone who did far more searching and sleuthing for new episode content (they were the ones who found this trailer actually). I'm not sure how valid this particular screenshot is, but if this is the case, then this will be the longest episode of Wild Kratts in history, and will be the closest thing we get to a Wild Kratts movie (until the actual WK movie is released in theaters).

“Turn me back, ya evil witch!” Logan screams in a high-pitched voice, throwing his fists toward the tall, mysterious black haired woman. His tiny bunny body hops up and down, moving closer to her until your hands swoop down and grab him, picking him up from the ground and holding him close to you. “Hey! Hey! Let me go! I can take her!” You scratch between his ears, causing his little legs to kick and his eyes to roll back. “S–stop, this is some witchcraft!”
You giggle, shaking your head before looking up at the woman, giving her an innocent smile. “Hi! I’m Y/n or Mrs Claus! Who are you?” You ask with wonder, confused and slightly jealous of how beautiful this woman is.
Morticia’s back straightens, and her eyes look you up and down before she gives you a slight smile. “Morticia, my dear. But many know me as Pitch Black.” You nod, subconsciously drooling at the slight of her red lips. “I see you know this… Pest?”
“Hey! I’m no pest, you evil bitch!” Logan’s legs begin to kick again, fists waving in the air as he tries to punch. You cuddle him closer to you, placing a kiss on his head before looking back up at the woman and nodding to her question.
“Yes, this is Logan. He’s the Easter Bunny, but he, uh… He used to be bigger, I thought?” You look down at him, confused as to why he’s so tiny when not long ago he was large and splitting you open on his… Your legs squeeze together as you think back to that Easter, and you clear your throat, blinking the daze away from your eyes. “D–Did you do something?”
Morticia nods, giving a soft smile. “Oh, yes. As I was saying, he’s a pest. I despise pests.” She waves his words off, no longer bothered to listen to his blabbering. “Why would someone as beautiful as you hang with this despicable creature?” Your cheeks heat up, choking on your saliva as the compliment slips from her lips so easily.
Logan’s little eyes glared, his ears flopped, and his tiny fluffy white tail wiggled into your chest. You smile softly, continuing to scratch between his ears, unknowing of your husband and the elves entering the scene, standing to the sides. “Why, uh… Thank you, but he isn’t a despicable creature. He’s my friend, and I would really appreciate it if you turned him back.” You bat your eyelashes and pout, knowing that usually works on your men.
Morticia smirks. “Hmm, as cute as you are, my dear. I don’t think so. Goodbye.” She waves before disappearing in a cloud of black smoke, and Logan grumbles, hopping out of your arms and onto the ground.
“Great, fantastic. Now, I’m stuck like this.” Logan stands with his arms crossed, a grumpy look on his cute little face. You smile, cooing as you reach down and scratch his head, causing Logan’s eyes to roll back before he fights you off, swatting your hand away from him. “Okay! That’s enough!”
Ari chuckles, looking down at his eldest friend. “Don’t worry, my friend. We will get you back to normal soon enough.” He walks over and wraps his arm around your waist, pressing a kiss onto the side of your head, watching with you as the elves stalk toward the tiny bunny.
“Pfft. Why are you so fat?” Lee grumbles, challenging the bunny. The elves eyes widen, and Logan looks at Lee with a glare. “What? Just asking a valid question.”
Logan hops toward him, puffing out his chest to the smaller man. “Why are you so fat?” Gasps can be heard from the other elves, watching with wide eyes as they wait for a fight to break out.
Steve pouts. “Well… I think he’s adorable.” He gives a little smile to Logan. “Now that you are little, w–would you want to play with us? We got these cool mopeds…” Steve bats his eyelashes, pouting until Logan grunts and gives in.
“Okay, fine! I’ll play with you guys!” Logan turns to Ari and glares. “You better find a way to reverse this!” He stalks off with the little elves following him with excitement.
You look up at your husband with a smile. “You aren’t going to do that immediately, are you?”
Ari squeezes your side, looking down at you with a soft smile. “Of course not. I’m going to wait it out for a bit. The elves deserve someone new to play with.”

ive proudly finished books 1 & 2 in two days (then devoured the book 3 demo at 2 am under my covers). then eagerly read btm (im super duper excited for it!! creepy ghostie soulmates and escapism from the oppressive mundanity of life + toxic households is my jam! im so intrigued by zach and cy!)
and now im thinking about subscribing to your ko-fi and patreon because your writing is so amazing!! i love how you excel at different genres from humor, action, angst, hurt/comfort and i love how you flesh out your characters !!

As for my plotting and writing process, I usually start with a general plot and then go from there.
Dreams are a huge inspiration, and so is brainstorming with friends and consuming different kinds of media!
I usually start out with scenes that I want to write, and sometimes the finer plot moves from there. Things change a lot!
Also, it's super important to take breaks and focus on something different when I get stuck somewhere LMAO~

Okay, I had a bit of a rough week, so I haven't been on my best mind or thoughts because of things.
However, I do finally want to do a belated New Year's greeting and appreciation to some people who I think I want to say things about because they are the reason why I'm still on my blog and what has made my life beautiful.
I do not celebrate New Year's, however, I do believe in trying to look to the better, to hope for better. It is not about a new year and erasing everything that has happened, but having a chance to build yourself how you want to. I do not do resolutions nor do I believe in the idea of New Year's meaning kissing or drinking. It's a time to appreciate what you have and who you have it with.
◈ @shimmerbeasts ⋯ I would have never expected to have made such a powerful and impactful relationship with Miss T when I first met her. And yet, after six months, she has become not only my best friend but someone I consider family. I can't even imagine my life without Miss T now, it's like finding someone who is a long-lost sister, who understands me better than I know myself at times. I don't think there are enough words or phrases to express how much I truly appreciate her and her friendship, and I hope for many more months of enjoyment in our hyperfixations and the things we enjoy. <3
◈ @goldenfists ⋯ Joo was such a surprise. We started talking over small plotting, and then suddenly, we bonded so deeply. Joo is a sweetheart and I love getting to talk to her about everything, from real life to plotting to so much more. Joo has a heart of gold, and I truly hope she gets to have so much more this year; new friends, new adventures, and I hope I get to be there to share it. <3
◈ @gauntlets-shot ⋯ Royal is absolutely a sweet lady! While we do not talk often, I can say that she is one of the people I never get tired of seeing on my dash. I think she is doing amazing things with her college schooling. I always love getting to spaz on Discord about our stuff. <3
◈ @decidentia ⋯ I have known Puffin long before I joined the League of legends fandom. I think it's going on a year in a half now that I have known her. She's a mom, I'm a mom, and we are both stressed with kids and life. I think she's one of the few people who understand the struggles of parenthood because she's always one too <3 Honestly, I would follow Puffin anywhere, because not only do I love her writing, but she as a person is a sweetheart. I really do hope for great things for you this year. <3

I don't regret anything, and now they are one of my closest friends through thick and thin. I don't have my other friend's url, Apis, but these two are probably my longest-known friendships from Tumblr who are still on Tumblr. We've been through so much and still, we hold strong <3
◈ @playgroundmonsters ⋯ Ama is the sweetest, she has such a good heart and a good soul despite what the world throws at her. We both have similar struggles but she's been such a joy to have in my life and I have no regrets. From our threads to our talks, I hope I can continue to be here to help her as she has helped me. I'll always need her in my life <3
◈ @blackrosesmatron ⋯ Lucy has so much love for her muses and her OC. She came out of nowhere and now I'm just like 'Yes, she is mine imma keep her' when I got to talking to her about Angelica. Lucy is such a sweet lady, she loves her muses as much as I love mine (if not more!) and I'm always happy to get to write with her. I hope things continue to get bigger and better for her.
