joshua the type to lean in to kiss you and then swerve at the last second to kiss your cheek, sees how pouty you get and tries to reconcile. it doesn’t work however and you just get even poutier so he eats u out to make up for it
Tumblr media
“baby, c’mon i was just kidding!”
you’ve been giving your boyfriend the silent treatment for a couple of minutes now, dodging him every time he tries to kiss you. you’d been so excited when he leaned in to kiss you the first time, giddy that he was finally coming to spend time with you, only for him to swerve at the last second and kiss your cheek instead.
it wasn’t that you had anything against cheek kisses. you loved them! especially from your boyfriend. but he’d led you on, thinking you were going to get a real kiss.
it was just a joke but you were feeling sensitive and it hurt your feelings. joshua had immediately realized his mistake once he saw you pout and tried to kiss you for real right afterwards but you turned your cheek at him, crossing your arms over your chest in protest.
he sighed in exasperation, running a hand through his hair as he thought about what to do to fix it.
then, without warning, he shuffled down on the bed and placed a hand on each of your knees, spreading your legs apart.
“joshua, what are you doing?” you asked, finally breaking your silence.
he laid on his stomach in between your thighs and gave you a little smirk.
“kissing you.”
“wha-” your breath hitched in your throat as he pressed his lips to your pussy, kissing you over the fabric of your panties. “fuck…”
“‘m sorry i was mean, baby,” he mumbled, voice vibrating against you.
“it’s-it’s okay,” you struggled to get out. “it was just a joke.”
“i know but it wasn’t nice.” he slid your panties down your legs as he spoke, placing them gently next to him on the bed. you hummed in indifference, already resigned to the pleasure he was about to give you. it had never been a big deal in the first place. you were just being a brat. still, it was nice to know he cared.
you sighed and twisted one of your hands in his hair when you felt him lave his tongue over your clit. joshua smirked against you and repeated the motion, building up to a pace he knew you liked.
he took a break only to spit into his hand, coating two of his fingers in saliva so that they’d slide into you easier.
“feel good?” he asked, pumping them in and out slowly.
you could only nod. it was so hard to keep your eyes open but you loved seeing joshua like this. his hair was a fucking mess, courtesy of you, and his chin was dripping with your arousal. he made no effort to wipe it off, opting to lower his head back between your thighs.
you weren’t sure how long it was before you came but it happened fast. joshua just had to be good at everything, including giving head. he helped you ride out your orgasm on his fingers and then he was sucking them clean and wiping his face with the back of his hand, smirking like a man who had just won the fucking powerball.
“can i kiss you now?” he asked teasingly.
“please,” you begged.
you met him halfway and pressed your lips to his, pulling him down on top of you. you could taste yourself on his lips, on his tongue. the realization made you moan into his mouth.
he was still grinning when he broke away to undress, which made you wonder what he was so happy about all of the sudden.
“what?” you asked, voicing your question aloud. you felt insecure all of the sudden, like he knew something you didn’t.
“you taste even sweeter when i have to work for it.”

Gladiators 2024: The Review
Tumblr media
Gladiators 2024 is in the books, and we have our first champions in 15 years! The new series started with high ratings and has continued to deliver throughout its 11 episode run, capturing the imagination of the general public so strongly that a second series has already been commissioned by the BBC.
Now that it's all over, I think it's fair to say that the show has been a creative triumph as well as a ratings hit, running much closer to the glory days of the 1990s ITV run than the disappointing 2008-09 Sky One revival. While it's fresh in the mind, it's a good time to take a look at what the show did right, as well as identifying any weaknesses that can be improved next time around.
The Good
First off, I think the overall look of the show is fantastic. One of the biggest weaknesses of the Sky show was the small studio setting, and thankfully Sheffield Arena gives the feeling of a big time event that Birmingham's National Indoor Arena did back in the day. The set retains plenty of elements of the 90s presentation, like the padded silver platform edges and the big imposing backdrop of The Wall, but with great modern touches like additional projection. I never hated the water element of the Sky show but I don't miss it, and the added pyrotechnics are a nice touch. I can't think of anything I'd change, except for maybe a move to a bigger arena – more on why later.
The presenter duo of Bradley and Barney Walsh have been somewhat divisive among fans, and there are definitely criticisms to be made. Having said that, it's clear that they're excited to be involved and I think that they're both totally fine on interviews, with Bradley's natural charisma and rapport coming through well. Guy Mowbray has been good value on commentary too.
The on-screen graphics all look very nice, and the introductory video packages and recaps of previous shows are a nice way to get to know the contenders. Likewise, the Gladiator intros are useful in familiarising the audience with the new cast, although it's very clear that they've been reused from episode to episode. I also really liked the touch of having all of the Gladiators welcoming the contenders into the final.
The selection of events was pretty much dead on – all of the returning games were top tier choices from the classic series, though they weren't all handled correctly. I think all three new events are worthwhile additions to the roster, with The Edge being the highlight and really the signature game for the modern show. I wasn't sure about it at first because the initial contenders were quite tentative, but once they started to sprint across, I was hooked. The scoring was initially too generous, but the revision to the rules in the semi-finals was perfect.
Tumblr media
The Ring is very simple, but I can understand the need for that from a TV production perspective – you do need some low-setup, low-tech events to balance out the more elaborate events. Thankfully it is also very hard-hitting, so it's quite entertaining to watch. As for Collision, some people prefer Hit & Run but I actually prefer the new event, thanks to the greater visual involvement of the Gladiators. The need to carry the ball to score also adds an extra wrinkle to the whole thing.
I think the Gladiators this year mostly did a fantastic job in terms of both gameplay and establishing themselves as personalities. For me, there are a few standouts. Nitro is an absolute all-star – he's very charismatic and he seems to be an incredible all-rounder on the events. Legend's heel schtick is highly entertaining, with “There's no I in team, but there are five I's in individual brilliance” being my favourite line of the entire series. I've become a big fan of Fury – she's relentless whether she's on The Ring, The Edge or Powerball, and has a strong sense of fair play. Dynamite's performances stand out as being particularly impressive given that she's not the biggest of the group.
The standard of the contenders was also very high this year. I couldn't pick between Marie-Louise and Bronte for the women's final, and while I did predict the winner of the men's final, it was closer than I was expecting. There were some absolutely cracking close Eliminators along the way, and very few major mismatches. In most cases, even the lowest-scoring contenders managed to pick up points in the majority of their events.
The Bad
I really hate to say this as I'm a huge fan of Bradley Walsh's work on The Chase, but as good as he and Barney are on interviews, their scripted links have been arguably the weakest aspect of the show. Event introductions have frequently made me cringe, with some lame jokes and banter that comes off as forced. They're so much better when they're just allowed to operate naturally, and I hope that if they return, they'll be given room to play things a bit more off-the-cuff.
One aspect of the presentation that winds me up is an occasional lack of information. The clock is displayed on screen for the full duration of every event except The Ring, during which the timer is only shown for the final ten seconds of the game. Why? That's admittedly a small peeve, but I have a far bigger one – the Eliminator times of runners-up determine progression to the quarter-final and semi-final rounds, but we're never shown them. Since this information is so important, it's really frustrating that we never get to see those times, either via a clock running during the event or a leaderboard at the end of the show.
Of course, that only matters because the structure of the competition was a bit unusual – a factor of the 11-week format. I've got to be honest, as good as the action was, I'm not entirely sold on a tournament format that lets you theoretically lose two episodes in a row and still end up in the semi-finals. Also, the criteria for choosing replacement contenders in the case of injury was not especially transparent – lots of people were confused by the addition of Wesley as a brand new contender in the Quarter-Finals, and it's not entirely clear why Matt was brought back from the heats to replace Chung. Hopefully, next time will have more episodes and a simpler single-elimination tournament structure.
Tumblr media
Before the series, I never thought that my criticisms of the events would be about the classics. However, Hang Tough was only featured on three episodes – a crazy low number for one of the most iconic events from the original show. I understand it's because The Edge and Hang Tough can't be set up during the same taping, and I get the need to establish the new event, but let's have a better balance the next time. As for Gauntlet, every single woman scored maximum points and most of the men did too – it's just too easy in its current form. I feel like there's no good reason no to revert to the 1994 rules, with five Gladiators, a 30-second time limit and time-based scoring.
I don't think any of the Gladiators were bad value, and I actually believe that people have been rather unfair to Viper in particular – he's been widely criticised for his performance in events, but in reality his performance has been similar to Wolf's contributions in the original run. The problem is that his villain character isn't quite connecting, and I hope he's allowed to show more personality than “silent and grumpy” if he returns. It's also sad to see that Athena has been given very few one-on-one events and very little interview time, so I hope she gets more focus if she comes back.
Further thoughts
Ulrika Jonsson has complained about the loss of the cheerleaders from the ITV show. I don't particularly miss them, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have them? Also, I'm a huge fan of the event music from the ITV version of the show, and not having such prominent tunes did bug me at first. However, over the course of the series I did become used to it and it's not something I'd look to change now.
Jet has mentioned that she and other past Gladiators would have liked to have been involved in the show, providing colour commentary or some sort of insight. This may be controversial, but I actually think that not including them was the right choice for the first series. The problem with bringing the old favourites back from the start is that you immediately run the risk of overshadowing the new cast, as well as pigeonholing the show as nothing more than a nostalgic product – something I think the show has very successfully avoided, as it's hugely popular with both kids and adults.
Having said that, I do think that bringing them in for a second series would be a good move now that the new cast is established. If the production team can bring back additional classic events, the veterans can speak with authority about what it's like to play them, and young fans can get a glimpse of the people their parents keep mentioning. What's more, if someone like Jet were to come back, it would be nice to have a woman as part of the presenting team, as was the case in the ITV and Sky versions of the show.
Tumblr media
I have no doubts over the professionalism of everybody involved in the health and safety aspects of the show, and it was good to see stoppages and such when needed. However, I was quite surprised by the number of equipment malfunctions – lost shoes on The Wall, helmets coming off, all that stuff. There were also plenty of injuries – Comet, Sabre, Finley, Dev, Chung, even Finlay forfeited an event due to being banged up. It's obviously a high-impact show, but hopefully the next series won't be quite like this.
Although the arena used was good for the show, I feel like it may benefit from a move to a bigger venue for the next series. Public interest is sufficiently high I don't think you'd have trouble filling out the seats, and it would give the benefit of increasing the space available for the events - especially if a third event requiring ceiling space is added, since The Edge and Hang Tough should both be prominent.
Wishlist for next series
Three new events, two returning/revised and one new (return preferences: Skytrak, Atlaspheres and Danger Zone)
Gauntlet rules revised
Two to four additional Gladiators
Better utilisation of Viper and Athena
More episodes with a simplified tournament format
More transparency about the competitive aspects of the show
Presenters given either less scripting or better scripting
Fewer injuries!
Final thoughts
As a huge fan of Gladiators since the very first series, I was really apprehensive about the show returning. Would it live up to my expectations? The Sky show never managed to match the ITV run for me, even though I had the good fortune to attend a taping for the second series. Would it hit with the public? I've watched enough worthwhile retro revivals fall flat to know that it was by no means guaranteed.
The new series has exceeded my expectations - I genuinely didn't think it'd be pulled off this well, and I'm so happy the show has been given the revival it deserves. Overall I think the entire team has done a fantastic job, and hopefully it's clear that the criticisms that I've made come don't come from a desire to knock their hard work, but are provided with the most constructive intent. The show was great this year, and I'm confident that a few tweaks will make it even better next time around.
Hope you enjoyed this review - let me know your thoughts, and I'll be back soon with some statistical analysis for the series.

Elias Info
Name: Elias Acker
Gender & Pronouns: Bigender (He/She)
Orientation: Omnisexual
Age: 34
FC: Robert Sheehan
Background
Elias was born into a poor family plagued by problems such as his dad Thomas's gambling issues, to his aunt Denise regularly crashing at their tiny Brooklyn apartment to avoid her children, to his mom Harper being an overworking perfectionist prone to fits of despair due to her untreated and undiagnosed bipolar, which Elias inherited. There was love, but also glaring problems that circumstance kept them from ever dealing with.
Elias from a young age felt the pressure of the family's future and trying to help them. He was a good kid, incredibly straight laced because he knew there weren't second chances for him. Also incredibly polite and prone to suppressing his own problems because he knew everybody already had enough on their plates.
In highschool he was getting pressured to go into med school to become a doctor so that everybody could get what they needed. This left Elias with little personal time between studying and extracurriculars picked up to look good on an essay. He had few relationships, the most notable being with a girl from another school who dumped him after about three weeks. He also worth what little time he did have pick up poetry, which became a passion of his which he couldn't pursue.
He managed to land a spot in a decent med school, and while he wasn't a natural at it, he did put a lot of effort into his studying. His family were thrilled and dreaming of what they'd buy with his first paycheck. His few friends already were planning a party at his place for when he landed his first job. Elias was absolutely miserable, only riding the highs of caffeine and nicotine to keep himself going.
It was an impulse buy on the afternoon he finished his undergraduate, he was picking up a pack of smokes and saw that the powerball was drawing in only a few short hours, he grabbed a single quick pick and forgot about it till the next morning when he looked up the winning numbers and found out he had landed the jackpot.
In his excitement he told his whole family and his friends, who were all thrilled, and all wanted a cut. By the time he even got the money several people took out high interest loans and got him to pay them off, and everybody wanted their debts wiped clean. Elias wanted to help so gave them that. His parents wanted a house, his aunt wanted a car, his friends wanted to go to Tokyo and Disneyland, his dad wanted more tickets, his uncle wanted a boat, his cousins wanted presents, everybody wanted everything from him, and Elias just wanted them to be happy so he gave it to them.
It was only when he realized he hadn't put anything into retirement or getting himself a house or vehicle or even paying off his own debt in full and the money was down to six figures that he realized he had been completely exploited. People were still asking him for stuff while he was budgeting so he'd be okay for just a couple years. He completely exploded at a family dinner when his uncle complained about how small his boat was and implied Elias had been stingy, Elias screamed at all of them until his throat went hoarse and then stormed out the door in a blind rage wishing that he would never see any of them, to be somewhere without them in it, he wasn't even sure where he was going.
But where he ended up certainly was not what he had in mind, as the world around him looked like the blown out rubble of war. At first he wandered around thinking he was having a complete break from reality, then some roving bandits found him and chased him, eventually he fled back to where his apartment was to try hiding until things went back to normal, however there he found in the rubble a dead version of himself. He backed out the door wishing to be anywhere else. His bad luck continued for a while until he was put on an earth with no danger or life, which gave him a chance to have a panic attack and figure out what the hell was happening.
After that he got a handle on his powers, and for the next four years went through the multiverse looking for his purpose in it, and becoming an expert on his own powers. Surely it wasn't random he had powers. Surely there was a point to this all. Surely he could make things better and that would improve his own life.
It was exhausting, and he fell back into bad habits of letting others exploit him. The breaking point though was finding a universe where Eli had cut everyone off when he won the lottery and everyone was better off for it, even his friends and family were happier. Everyone would have been better off if he had just been selfish. And for every universe he helped, there was an infinite amount of them suffering. Every sacrifice felt pointless.
Everything was pointless.
He broke. He decided to only live for himself, with reckless abandon for literally everything. To not control his urges and impulses, and refuse the part of himself that cared too much about everyone and everything. He changed his look and outlook on life.
About a year ago he met the only other known universe hopper by pure coincidence, Leah Kravitz, and he was immediately endeared even outside their brief prior connection. He found himself taking her under his wing and trying to keep her away from the pitfalls he fell into when first exploring his powers. They bonded a lot, and Elias found himself loving her, and found himself scared that he was going to get zir hurt in one of his self destructive impulses.
She confronted him over his reckless behavior and he made no attempt to defend himself, both knowing she was right, and hoping for zir own safety she'd leave. He even went so far as to claim he only cared about his own entertainment, which at that point was a lie. She did leave to have her own adventures, which he has kept tabs on.
Since then he's been traveling mainly on his own, causing trouble and killing time quite frankly. Occasionally letting people tag along his travels or staying in a universe for an extended period to try to fight a growing loneliness in him; unaware that it will take honesty with himself to defeat.
Personality
No matter at what point you met Elias you'll be met by a charming and empathic person who can lend a shoulder, give good advice, and is humorous. She likes to meet new people and tends to be rather talkative. He also is smart with people, technical information, and most of all the way things work, what makes them tick (hence the first two things). Hidden under some sort of persona she is incredibly self destructive and prone to feeling worthless; in manic episodes these traits show up as overachieving and risky behavior like unprotected sex or putting himself into dangerous situations; in depressive episodes it takes the form of pure nihilism, lack of even basic self care, and self isolation.
Despite whatever persona he might have he's also always concerned with what he considers the greatest good, which depends on his circumstances. The health and safety of the whole multiverse is always there though, whether he knows it or not.
He used to be a sweet and deeply compassionate person, more worried about everyone else than himself. He was the friend that always offered her shoulder and had time and never complained. Rather timid and a pushover to those close to him, he didn't know how to say no to people because she didn't want to disappoint anybody. His own problems he'd just suppress as to not burden anybody. Very self destructive though when left alone, putting himself at risk and working herself to the bone.
After finding his powers but before his big breakdown he was withdrawn and mostly quiet, going along with things to gather information and asking a lot of questions, not talking much at all about himself. He was looking for his greater purpose in everything, and thus approached everything with an earnest conviction to put his all into it, and to try to help. She still was working himself to the bone, and would try on any role given to her for at least a little bit no matter how he liked it.
After his breakdown he's decided to only do what entertains him in some way, and follow any and all of his impulses. This can range from incredibly destructive and chaotic lash outs to just trickster like help depending on his mood and connection to the people affected. This also includes his own self destructive impulses. Ultimately despite his attempts to suppress it, he is still capable of caring about people, and when he does he'll go out of his way for them and keep tabs on how they're doing.
Eventually he's going to learn that everything does matter despite its infinite nature, and at that point he's going to have a lot of amends to make, but she isn't there yet.
Powers
Reality Hopping: He can travel the multiverse by going through anything that looks like a doorway, gateway, or opening. If unspecified he arrives in a random universe in a random location near a similar gateway. He can specify what universe he's traveling to by qualities (such as what year it's in, human population levels, if magic is present, etc), by people he knows or knows of (The one with the Jane Doe I met last week), or by any name he knows the universe by. If he specifics a universe absolutely impossible to exist she arrives in a dark void. He can bring people with him as long as they have a grasp on him through some means and goes through the same gateway in up to five seconds of him. (This power inspired by @chaosmultiverse)
Multiversal Consistent: In every single universe some version of him has existed. They might be dead in the present year, or might exist in the future of the universe. They share his basic traits and have a name that at least sounds like his if not the same name. They don't necessarily have to be human, or even sentient. This is what connects Elias to the whole multiverse.
Abilities
Marksmanship: He has training with basic firearms and has some experience with all conventional types of guns.
Medicine: He has the training of a medical student circa the 2010s, not advanced in any field but leagues above basic first aid training. He can treat standard injuries, illnesses, and has knowledge on disabilities and mental illnesses.
Equipment
Throughout threads he might gather helpful items. This will be updated as items are obtained.
Bracer of Storage: He can hold up to five items in this, and can stow items by touching them. When retrieving an item it either appears in a free hand (favoring his left) or in front of him if he has no free hand or the object is too large to hold.
Universal Translator: Picked up in a magical universe, this ring lets her understand anything he hears and lets anybody understand what she is saying.
Phone: Has a cross universe data plan. Extended battery life. Requires a signal.
Chalk: For on the fly gate creation.

We Were Always Going to End Up Together - Ch 3
Suptober 22, Day 3: Digital
On AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/42237885/chapters/106197975
He didn’t call Dean that night. Nor did he text. Dean tried not to think about it when he silenced his phone to go to sleep. He tried not to be disappointed when there were no missed calls or texts the next morning when he woke up either. Still, it didn’t ruin his day. And upside, he got to tell Charlie she was wrong about how the whole thing was going to go down when he went over to her place for pizza on Sunday. It would have been nice though.
Monday brought his daily routine back and it didn’t take much for the thrill of possibility every time he got a text notification to fade. Zoom meetings bled into emails which bled into the everything he had to get done. Working remotely at least meant he could spin in his chair when he needed a little break. And it meant he could pad around in his socks and comfy pants without anyone raising an eyebrow. There were perks to the digital age.
On the slow afternoon of Thursday, Dean was pleased to hear the ding of a text. Anything to break the way the day had stretched like taffy. If his boss didn’t think it was fun to make surprise calls after 4 to try to catch them not working, Dean would have tapped out an hour ago.
Two messages had come in. An embarrassment of riches. The first was from Charlie trying to wheedle Dean into attending another haunted thing, this time a haunted house. He closed the thread without responding. She knew as well as Dean that he didn’t exactly have a bustling social life. But if he begged off, he’d have to hear about how he was becoming as much of a Halloween Grinch as Sam. Was there a Halloween equivalent? Most of the Halloween movies weren’t really specifically about the holiday as they were just slasher flicks. He’d have to think about that… The second one though, that was from an unknown number, and bonus, it didn’t include a link, so maybe it was even from a real human being. All it said was ‘Hello, Dean.” complete with punctuation which Dean was going to roll his eyes at until he realized that this might be from Castiel. His face softened into a small smile as he texted back “Cas?”.
The response of a smiley face emoji was almost immediate and Dean’s own smile widened. Before Dean could think of what to send in response, another text came through “Would you like to have dinner with me tomorrow?”
Dean’s smile turned into a full face grin as he texted a thumbs up. They quickly decided to meet at 6 at the Roadhouse and Dean was over the moon. He didn’t know a damn thing about Castiel other than he worked at the haunted maze and was gorgeous, and apparently liked dinner on the early side, which was fine with Dean. It had been a bit too long since he was excited about the prospect of going out with anyone.
Too wired to text Charlie, he called and launched into the conversation with “Guess what?” as a greeting.
“You won powerball and we can both quit our drudgery?”
“Nope, even better!”
“Ooh he called you didn’t he.”
“He texted,” corrected Dean primly.
“Well, better than nothing.”
“People don’t really call each other anymore.”
“Says the guy on the phone.”
“I can hang up?”
“Don’t you dare! What did he say?”
“I will have to decline your invitation for the haunted house tomorrow, because I have a date at the Roadhouse.”
“Wow. That’s great.”
“You don’t sound like that’s great.”
“I mean, did you get to know each other at all…”
“Isn’t that what the date’s for?”
“It’s just that you tend to be a little…”
“What?”
“Impulsive.”
“You’re saying that meeting him in a public place, where I know the owner is more impulsive than using some dating app? At least I know he’s a real person.”
“You’ve just had some… challenges in your dating life…”
“Why are you trying to make me feel bad about this?”
There was silence on the other end of the phone at first. Dean almost checked to see if the call had dropped when he heard Charlie sigh. “I’m sorry. It’s just that the last few have been a little scary.”
“Yeah I know.”
“I just don’t want to see you get hurt.”
“It’s just dinner Charlie. We’re meeting there and if it will make you feel better, you and I can set up a time I have to text you by to make sure I’m really okay.”
“Promise?”
“Yeah, promise. But you gotta let me be excited.”
“He was pretty dreamy.”
“Damn straight he was.”
“Hopefully not, for your sake.”
Dean burst into laughter, the awkward part of the conversation almost forgotten. He knew Charlie was just looking out for him, but he didn’t want to get bogged down in his past right now. He was going to go out with a cute boy tomorrow night, and that sounded pretty damn good.

I truly wish I could go into more detail but I'm not so sure it's safe or smart for me to expose any internal work things so I won't go into details, but...
I've complained on here before (surprised?) about this but we're moving from one third party service to another and it's just...the thousands and thousands of work hours that are being diverted from doing our actual jobs to focusing on how we can try to replicate our work streams using the new service - which goes into place in two weeks - and still falling short of what we are currently able to do is just mind-boggling. Instead of continuing to use the one service (which, as far as I know, is fine)(and seriously if I told you which one you'd be like "Why are you moving from that to THAT?") we're cobbling together three others and it'll still be insufficient.
No, scratch that. Not just insufficient. We're losing capabilities and services that we have now. It's possible we may get them back at some point, but nothing's guaranteed.
I wish it were possible to get in a room with the executives and actually ask them why we're doing this. I'll get a lot of bullshit from most of them but honestly at least one of them might just blurt out "To save money" and that's the actual reason, because what else is the C suite there fore but to make sure that the company and its products are working well and that exciting new things are around the corner to titillate shareholders while announcing new efforts to save money? Meanwhile the worker's ability to actually do their jobs is kneecapped and the value we bring to not only the company but our customers is reduced.
Many of us feel like the company at large is unaware of this and are looking for other jobs elsewhere. I'm staying put because I was robbed of my sabbatical when my original company was acquired by the new one, and I'm taking that next year, damnit.
Anyway, time to check my Powerball numbers.

Luck, Chance, and Calculations: Decoding the Complexity of Matka 420
Matka 420 is an exciting game of chance. It combines luck and calculation in a way that makes it both challenging and enjoyable. However, there's more to this game than meets the eye--it requires skill, strategy, and ethical considerations!
In this post, I'll discuss how you can decode Top Matka 420 so that you can play with confidence.
Understanding Matka 420
Matka 420 is a form of number guessing game that is played in India. It's also known as Mega Millions, Powerball and other similar names. The game is quite popular among Indians and has been around for more than 30 years.
There are several variations of this type of games; however, they all operate under the same basic rules: You pick five numbers from 1-50 and hope that your combination matches either one or more winning numbers drawn on previous draws (or just missing). If it does, then you win! But if your numbers don't match any official winner, then there's no payout at all—and no prize money either unless somebody else wins before you do.
The Role of Luck in Matka 420
Luck itself is a concept that is hard to define, but the way it affects your chances of winning depends on what you do and don't know about the game.
The most obvious thing you can do to increase your luck in Top Matka 420 is to play with a different strategy each time—but this strategy must be researched before playing so as not to give away any information about what might be going on behind the scenes. You should also keep track of all your plays and make sure they are consistent.

Strategies for Decoding Matka 420
You're probably wondering if there are any strategies you can employ to increase your chances of winning. The answer is yes! There are many different strategies that players use to increase their chances of winning Top Matka 420 and they all fall under the umbrella term “calculations, intuition, and risk-taking” (CITR).
The first step is to find out what kind of calculation strategy you'll be using in order to maximize your chance at winning. Some common types include: calculating odds; predicting whether or not a player will win based on their game size; comparing odds between two different options; comparing odds between two different chances within an option; calculating probability based off past outcomes; etcetera...
Once this decision has been made as far as what type(s) of calculation(s) your strategy will include then it's time for us move on to Step Two: understanding how these calculations affect one another when making decisions during playtime - which leads us into our next point: understanding how these calculations change depending on other factors like mood/energy levels etcetera.
Conclusion
We hope that this article has given you some insight into the world of matka 420. Matka is a fascinating game with many layers of complexity, and we’ve highlighted here how it can be used to teach mathematics or provide insight into other subjects.

YOU’RE IN FOR A TREAT THIS MONTH
What is it? It's Hannah, from college, and she's in town for the weekend. She just broke up with her asshole boyfriend, the one who worked in finance. The last time you hung out with them, he drank way too much at dinner, and he stared down the waitresses' shirt, and everyone at the table was uncomfortable. But that's over now, and she's really excited to see you. You might even hook up this time, which has never happened, except for one night a long time ago you came close, but you were both so drunk, and you were really intimidated, which was unexpected. But she needs you to pick her up at the airport and accompany her to her hotel downtown. Are you up for it? It should be easy, but you don't have a car. You told yourself you should have bought one last year, when your uncle gave you some cash after he got five numbers in the Powerball, but instead you put it in some real estate trust that you didn't fully understand, and now you're probably never going to see it again. Good thing there's a bus that goes right from the airport to a few blocks away from the hotel. Maybe you can get drinks after she drops off her bags?
You meet her at the airport and she gives you a big hug. She looks great! She's wearing a really stylish blazer that fits her perfectly. You wish you'd worn something nicer for the occasion. You realize that you forgot to wash the sweatshirt you're wearing and there's a big habanero sauce stain in the middle. You don't think she notices but you're self conscious about it either way. She smells really fantastic. You debate telling her that but that might be too aggressive considering the circumstances. You exit the terminal and walk toward the bus stop, but when you tell her you'll be taking the bus, her face drops, and she briefly looks off into the distance. You thought she'd be cool with that but maybe in retrospect you should have sprung for a taxi. It's packed at the terminal. It’s loud and it smells awful. You hear the sound of birds shrieking. The bus pulls up and it's already close to full. You walk on the bus and settle next to a guy carrying a bag of what appears to be hockey equipment. He’s claimed three seats, one for himself and two for his bag, which smells horrendous. You have no choice but to stand beside him as passengers fill up the bus as they enter behind you. The bus pulls away and heads toward the highway.
Hannah has fallen silent the last few minutes. She looks in the other direction away from you. You consider pointing out some local landmarks but there's not much to notice outside amongst the warehouses and parking lots. You figure she's tired from the long day of travel. Did she have a layover? You can't remember. The bus jerks a few times and you nearly fall into the man with the hockey bag before you catch your balance. You look at him to offer an apology but he doesn't respond. It appears he's glaring at Hannah, she's scowling and trying to avoid his gaze. You didn't notice before but it's clear there's a lot of tension in the air. You try to think of something to say to Hannah but your mind is blank. You were going to ask her about her sister, the paramedic. Or was it a brother? Did you meet him at graduation? Could you pull out your phone and check this? You begin to reach for your pocket when the man with the hockey bag speaks up. "What's your problem?!" he says to Hannah. "I don't have a problem at all," she quickly responds. You must have missed something. They sit silently for a moment before the man with the hockey bag puts on his headphones. "Why don't you mind your own fucking business," he snaps, before crossing his arms and closing his eyes. Hannah looks at you with disappointment while you consider what you should do. The man with the hockey bag looks pretty tall and probably wouldn't respond well to being hassled. You decide not to address it. Minutes pass in silence as you approach downtown. You point out a fantastic Mexican restaurant that you might want to check out together as she stifles a yawn. "Yeah, we'll see how the weekend goes," she tells you, without making eye contact. You make a joke about a bar you used to frequent in college and she audibly winces.
The bus pulls into the downtown terminal as you quickly disembark through the back door to avoid further interaction with the man with the hockey bag. He's in a deep sleep and has to be awakened by the bus driver. You tell Hannah that it's just a few blocks to her hotel but she tells you she should be okay to find it by herself. You suggest meeting the next morning for brunch but your voice cracks and you stumble over your words. “Good luck with work!” you shout. You remember that her trip is not work-related. Hannah struggles to put on a smile. "Thanks for the ride," she says, and quickly crosses the street in the opposite direction of her hotel. A year and a half later she texts you to save the date for her wedding. She got back together with the finance guy. They bought a townhouse together. You tell her you'd love to attend. The invitation never arrives.

When it comes to an actor with no Hollywood experience getting the lead role in a new Marvel television series, the odds are roughly somewhere between winning the Powerball lottery and getting struck by lightning. Yet that's exactly what happened for Iman Vellani, who was cast as Kamala Khan in the series named after her alter ego, Ms. Marvel. Before the show and her casting were announced, she had to keep the news to herself, but once it was made public, she told us how excited she was to become Ms. Marvel.
Ms. Marvel is currently streaming on Disney+.
