I want to throw up and cry at the same time-
If there was a trigger warning, I completely missed it, lol
I'm sorry, but also: yes. There are trigger warnings on all my posts. Please be careful and mindful of them and keep yourself safe. Blacklist is an awesome tool and I highly encourage everyone and anyone with just, like, any triggers at all to make full use of the system and filter tags or keywords as needed.

What's the ship between louis & albert called? 🤔
If you have an official answer anon please tell me 😭
Finding this ship names in this fandom has been a so unintuitive. We are so small that I just don't know what to use for anything.
But I've been using allou because I just did.
It probably should be allouis (and willouis) but I apparently just cannot be assed to have typed all of Louis' name.

(v light ch 1080/1100s(ish) hajime no ippo spoilers)
one of the major strengths of hajime no ippo is it’s willingness to let pretty much all the characters have several chapters of spotlight and i like seeing everyone’s fights not just ippo’s like the mashiba sendo back to back was just as entertaining as takamura’s unification bout and i think that’s so cool !!!
also one of my favorite things the author does is just match up different characters by having them sit next to each other at all the various fights with a mixture of reasons like sometimes people pull up and the reactions are like “are those two friends???” and then theres also the scenarios where it’s like “wtf i have to sit next to THIS guy” and now miyata pulls up on his ex-lover in the front row <3 like there’s endless iterations and combinations and i just think it’s such smart writing!!!!!!!!

Ok like yeah I'm rlly happy Sonic is aro and he's gone through some things that remind me of myself. But like I'm also happy that since he's a kids franchise, his story is a much tamer and softer version that ends in a happy and uncomplicated way. Like Im glad he'll never ever have to deal w someone he cared abt saying "man, if you don't date me I'll kill myself :("

Why Ryan Murphy needs to fucking stop: A Rant
So.
Netflix has decided that they're going to renew Ryan Murphy's "Dahmer" series as a collection of "monsters".
Basically what I mean by that, is that they're going to do the same thing as the original show but with other infamous serial killers.
And let me just start off saying, I have not watched Dahmer. I have no plans to watch it. I do not want to give it any attention if I can help it.
Yes, I'm aware I'm talking about it right now. But talking about why it's problematic is different from watching it and giving it hours watched that it doesn't deserve. That's how shows continue to be made. Netflix doesn't care what you think about it, they just want people to watch it. So hate-watching something for the purpose of making fun of it or hating it does more harm than good. Keep that in mind.
As many people have already pointed out, the Dahmer show is very problematic because it takes a serious horrific story about a sadistic person killing innocent people and turning it into a drama that exists solely to make money and for entertainment value. It erases the actual legacy of these people in favor of putting them on this pedestal. A crime shouldn't be about the person who committed it. The most important thing is the keep the victims alive in our memories. Not the killer.
I sometimes hate Netflix because they let this sort of thing happen way too often. Just because they make other shows that are good and give us good representation or are genuinely decent, doesn't mean that they should be allowed to get away with something like this.
The fact that when the Dahmer show originally came out, Netflix put it in the LGBTQ tag demonstrates just how little they care about actual good representation. That is just plainly offensive and diminishes the category of LGBTQ media by grouping it with the problematic show about a serial killer, even if he is gay, as are his victims. He is a gay man killing his gay victims. What about that screams good representation in television. It might be a true story but that doesn't mean it's what we want to see ourselves represented in.
(not to mention that Ryan Murphy never really got permission from the victims' families for portraying the victims in the show which is also kind of frustrating because that is so fucking disrespectful--)
And the fact that Ryan Murphy disagreed with them removing the tag makes me annoyed. Just because he thinks that this show about a gay murderer killing his gay victims is a good example of gay tv, doesn't mean the rest of the community agrees.
Murphy has always kind of made some interesting choices in the television he creates, but he often seems to get away with a lot of it. *cough* glee *cough cough*
Obviously some of those examples just haven't stood the test of time, but that's not true for everything. I mean, remember Prom? That movie was....definitely something.
Anyways. The main point I want to make is that we need to stop giving this any attention. We shouldn't stream the show just to hate-watch it, we shouldn't give it any more internet traffic than it deserves, because we shouldn't give Netflix money for turning these tragedies into entertainment that turns these horrible people into the face of their crimes.
that's my rant lol
plz rb so that more people can see this post and comment so i can hear y'all's thoughts on this.
