Dedicated to all of you. To all human beings.
(And I apologize if i have to $P@M , but we've got a lot of catching up to do.
So hi! I'm the creator of the "CeeLoGreen Fans" page (Formely, "Gnarls Barkley Fans" on Youtube / Instagram. For almost 20 years I've been digitally collecting CeeLo-Danger Mouse-GoodieMob-Dungeon Family texts, images, videos and music! This days I had the honour of having not only The Mighty Goodie Mob follow me on social medias, but also CeeLo Green himself, and that's an honor. And now, a duty.
So I decided to post them to all who, just like me, truly enjoy their music, their art their poetry and contradictions. It's been an honor to be a fan of such characters, such artists with so much soul.
In hopes that someday we'll have a 3rd Gnarls Barkley album (which CeeLo has been 'announcing' for some years - and in the 2024's Grammys too) and other ventures and adventures by those artists - specially CeeLo Green, who made me love music, rap, soul.
Hope yall enjoy this trip back down memory lane, into the deep, the Dirty (South), the beginning, even in darkness of the before - but also into the future! Their future. Their music. 🖤

reasons to root for every team in the nba playoffs (or not) western conference edition
thunder
pros: they're young they're fun maybe they can make something happen in the playoffs
cons: maybe some other team should have a turn, basketball timothee chalamet
nuggets
pros: jamal and nikola need to renew their wedding vows
cons: repeating champs would be a little boring, Michael porter jr
timberwolves
pros: again, small market team finding success! very cool
cons: their vibes are a little off it doesn’t seem like everyone is friends with each other 😭
clippers
pros: plz can russell westbrook get a ring, the clippers franchise in general has suffered a lot
cons: james harden? Not a con to me but i understand if someone feels that way.
mavs
pros: luka is a good player, idk what’s going on w maxi kleber and dwight powell but it makes ppl on tumblr happy
cons: mavs fans do have a certain vibe to them (must be the Dallas aura, which is not as bad as say the Cowboys but that’s bc historically the mavs haven’t been good). Kyrie lowkey but he’s been on good behavior lately so hm.

pros: i would like beal to beat the statpadding allegations actually
cons: kd still hasn’t paid his karmic dues from winning in golden state after leaving russ in okc. booker is a little annoying. Best case scenario is that beal is the best player on the team during the playoff series (doubt)
lakers
pros: omg postseason lebron idk how much more we’ll get of that
cons: it's the lakers... they already have had a championship in the past five seasons.
pelicans
pros: a new team in the playoffs, maybe they’ll figure out something in the postseason
cons: no zion for the postseason, also they are kinda just there

i always look out the window on the bus when we're going over the river on my way home bc there's always a bunch of cool birds down there but like i swear to god i keep seeing pelicans. like the first time i think i could have just believed it was a cormorant that i was being stupid about for some reason but i saw two giant very round birds standing on riverstones today and i actually cant think of anything else they could have been. except pelicans do NOT live around here!!!!!!! like maybe if it was the peak of the summer and the breeding populations were just more eastern than they usually are for some reason yk climate change and everything but it's october. any remaining breeding populations out west would be returning down south now anyways and it's definitely too cold for them rn. it's fucking me up though bc they definitely looked like pelicans but there's no way there are fucking pelicans in ontario in october
#like its FUCKING ME UP. the only other thing i can possibly think of that they could have been is turkey vultures but they looked like the#wrong shape. and also why would there be turkey vultures standing in a river.#like pelicans aren't really riverbirds either but it makes more sense than a vulture... idk#and wild turkeys seem a little small but closer to a pelican shape-wise when they're all puffed out. but why would there be turkeys standing#in the river. they DEFINITELY don't do that#also the river goes straight through my city's downtown and the turkeys tend to stay more to the rural areas and dont venture into the city#this is rhe worst part of being a birder#rambles#birds

THE PELICAN
1925
The Pelican is a play in four acts by F. Tennyson Jesse and H.M. Harwood. It was originally produced by A.H. Woods and staged by Fred Kerr starring Margaret Lawrence.
The play is a stirring drama of Wanda Heriot, a wife who does not measure up to the high ideals of the ancient English family she married into. With her child, Robin, she is cast out. The child is wrongly declared illegitimate and Wanda goes to France, where by hard work she brings up the child. At the age of seventeen, Robin visits England and the heritage of his ancient English family comes out in him. with a desire to enter the English Army. To satisfy this desire, the mother consents that his father be asked to aid him, and the father finds out that he falsely accused his wife, that the boy Is his, and prevails on Wanda to remarry him so that the boy can be considered his heir. At first she refuses, She has fallen In love with a Frenchman and is engaged to marry him, but like the pelican of the legend, she gives up her life of happiness for her boy.

The play originated in London at the Ambassadors Theatre in January 1925.
The Pelican premiered in the US at Nixon’s Apollo Theatre in Atlantic City on September 14, 1925. It immediately moved to Broadway.
The play opened on Broadway on September 21, 1925 at the Times Square Theatre, a venue that opened in 1920 and closed after the stock market crash of 1929. On October 19th the play moved to the Plymouth Theatre (now the Gerald Schoenfeld) where it closed on November 14th after 65 performances.
In 1926, a silent film was made of the play titled Marriage License? The role originated by Margaret Lawrence was taken by Alma Rubens. The cast also included Walter Pidgeon. In the UK, the film was still known as The Pelican.
The film premiered in Atlantic City at the Virginia Theatre on the Boardwalk on September 11, 1926.
On June 9, 1929, Margaret Lawrence was shot dead by actor Louis Bennison in a murder-suicide after a drunken lover's quarrel.
